Virtue signalling, mirror-wankers

I simply do not have the words. But good news, I am confident some of our regular readers will.

If this proves anything, its that sanctimony can be such a powerful drug, that people will do suicidal things to get it. Just like the rats in the box with the lever to get cocaine.

Except that I am not 100% certain the story about the rats is true.

  1. Every time a threat to humanity arises there will be people on the left lining up to support the threat under the grounds of it is morally superior to side with evil rather then fight it.

    Semi-related, on FOX news this morning was an ad for a new netflix series that from the ad was trying to humanize Hamas and demonize Israel. I could be wrong but that is the impression I got from the ad.

  2. Well, they are leftwing Jews defending Islam, nothing much more stupid than that.

    • It reminds me of something I think every day:

      ‘I get that people get the government they deserve. But why do I get the government THEY deserve?’

  3. I like the verbal creation of “far-laft” in the tweet, it’s like a combo of Far Left Daft.

    • Please see my comment below. Give them the benefit of the doubt. They are letting the Hamas-niks know that Heaven wants to hear the prayers of “the house of Israel.”

  4. He is 100% spot on. Almost. They wouldn’t just have killed those deluded leftists, they would have happily tortured them slowly, or strung them up in the heat to die after shooting them in the knee [a favourite tactic of theirs] then chained them and forced them to walk by being dragged along by a car…. and so on. THEN if they were LUCKY, they would have killed them, after making clips of them being forced to laud Hamas and the like.

  5. 2 Samuel 19

    6 And Joab came into the house to the king [David], and said: ‘Thou hast shamed this day the faces of all thy servants, who this day have saved thy life, and the lives of thy sons and of thy daughters, and the lives of thy wives, and the lives of thy concubines;

    7 in that thou lovest them that hate thee, and hatest them that love thee. For thou hast declared this day, that princes and servants are nought unto thee; for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this day, then it had pleased thee well.

  6. It’s quite fitting to wish those souls well as they return to their maker. The send-off is in Aramaic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaddish : May He establish His kingdom and may His salvation blossom and His anointed be near. during your lifetime and during your days and during the lifetimes of all the House of Israel, speedily and very soon! And say, Amen. May the prayers and supplications of all Israel be accepted by their Father who is in Heaven; And say, Amen. Titqabbal tzelotehon uva?utehon d’khol bet yisrael qodam avuhon di bishmayya, v?imru amen .
    Had they paid closer attention to the Bible, they would have read that God changes curses to blessings: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Numbers+23&version=NIV

    • To be clear, the commemoration uses a prayer for the departed that blesses the people of Israel and awaits the coming of the Messiah (speedily and very soon!) This is the kind of prayer that should be uttered closer to the compatriots of the fallen, so that they, too have the opportunity to respond Amen to “d’khol bet yisrael” the whole house of Israel “qodam avuhon di bishmayya, v?imru amen” having prayers that Heaven accepts.

  7. Eeyore,
    When they put rats in a cage the rats took the cocaine but when they made a rat paradise with interesting things to do and space to run around and other rats to socialize with the rats ignored the cocaine.
