  1. Hillary and Comey Are the Same Person
The “public servants” who put themselves first.
    May 1, 2018
    Daniel Greenfield

Hillary Clinton is 5’4. Former FBI boss James Comey is 6’8. But they have one important thing in common.

Both Clinton and Comey put themselves first.

Hillary launched her spiteful book tour without any regard for what it would do to her party. No amount of frustration from her fellow Democrats would dissuade her from cashing in and lashing out at her enemies. And no amount of frustration from fellow FBI agents, including Comey’s own Bureau confidants, could dissuade him from cashing in and lashing out at Trump across a thousand talk shows.

Hillary Clinton’s book tour damaged Dem prospects. Comey’s book tour harms the investigation. Its entire existence violates FBI rules. Much as Clinton’s book hurt her likely Dem successors.

But both bitter book tours are the work of selfish, spiteful and egotistical people who don’t care how much damage they do to the allies who trusted them as long as they make money and settle scores.

Is this where I’m supposed to stifle any barely suppressed giggling or hysterical laughter?

      Just checking…

      • Go ahead and laugh I did.

The attitudes spelled out in the article show why we are going to win, the left is too willing to throw each other under the bus for some quick advantage.

  2. Clinton Coup Clan Continues Attack
The Democrats’ ongoing quest to topple the president.
    May 1, 2018
    Lloyd Billingsley

The new House Intelligence Committee report finds no collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. The former FBI boss tasked with finding the collusion, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, recently announced that President Trump is not his target. This has left many observers puzzled, but one Russian actor may be able to put things in perspective.

In the 1981 Fort Apache the Bronx, police officers throw a man off a roof. Many American viewers were horrified but Russian actor Yakov Smirnoff had a different take. “This is nothing,” Smirnoff said. “In Russia, KGB throws guy off roof to hit guy they really want.” In similar style, Mueller raids the office of attorney Michael Cohen but Donald Trump is the guy he really wants to topple.

The coup d’état, also known as a coup in both English and French, is “an illegal and overt seizure of the state by the military or other elites within the state apparatus.” Such overthrows have been common in the Third World but now the duly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, is the target of a Clinton coup clan. Consider, for example, the judge Mueller tapped for the Cohen raid.

  3. A Tory council candidate has been suspended just days before local elections after posting a picture of bacon hanging on a door handle as a way to ‘protect your house from terrorism’.

David Boston suggested it was a way to ‘stay safe lads’ but was condemned for Islamophobia after sharing the post on Facebook.

Mr Boston, the candidate for Enfield Council’s Turkey Street ward, also shared on Facebook a ‘twisted misfits’ post which said: ‘I envy guys for gettin to say ”suck my d***” as sort of a ”f*** you.” If I shouted ”lick my v*****” I’d have like 47 tongues in my pants.’

The posts were all originally made by other people and shared by the candidate into his feed.

He has been suspended by the Conservative Party but will still appear on the ballot paper as a Tory on Thursday as the deadline for withdrawing candidates passed last month.

  4. Sanctuary Cities Protect Crooked Employers and Human Traffickers
Exploitation of the vulnerable is anything but “compassionate.”
    May 1, 2018
    Michael Cutler

We have all heard the bogus claim that “Sanctuary Cities” and “Sanctuary States” protect the “immigrants” from ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents and that the mayors of sanctuary cities are being compassionate.

There is no compassion to be found in exploitation

In reality, politicians who create and support sanctuary policies are every bit as disgusting and exploitative of illegal aliens as are human traffickers and unscrupulous employers who intentionally hire illegal aliens and benefit by sanctuary policies and, indeed those human traffickers and employers of illegal aliens are being provided with “sanctuary” and are being shielded from detection by ICE.

Mayors and governors of “sanctuary” jurisdictions are actually “partners in crime” with human traffickers and exploitive employers.

Before we go further, however, it is imperative to lay waste to that the false claim that mayors of sanctuary cities protect immigrants from immigration law enforcement agents.

Lies about sanctuary policies being motivated by “compassion” creates a hostile environment and antipathy for ICE agents and Border Patrol agents that impedes them from locating and arresting aliens who violate our immigration laws, but also makes it far more difficult for ICE and Border Patrol agents to engage with the public to develop actionable intelligence.

TEL AVIV — CNN’s Chris Cuomo conducted a largely belligerent interview with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his New Day program on Tuesday in which the CNN host repeatedly interrupted and spoke over the Israeli leader, going so far as to confront Netanyahu about Israel’s suspected nuclear arsenal.

The male tiger cub was unconscious inside a black duffel bag, according to a statement from the US Customs and Border Protection.

Authorities said around 1,200 protesters, many garbed in black, had turned up on the sidelines of the annual May Day demonstration. The protesters were from far-left anarchist groups known as Black Blocs, police said.

Government spokesman Benjamin Griveaux criticised the protesters for covering their faces. “When you have sincere convictions, you demonstrate with your face unmasked,” he said. “Those who wear hoods are the enemies of democracy.”

  11. San Francisco’s hidden truth is out. That’s what community organizer Carol Mo calls the realization that Asian residents are being targeted for robberies, burglaries and intimidation by young black men.

“It is San Francisco’s dirty little secret,” said Mo, a former Safety Network Community organizer in the Sunset District. “It’s not news to us.”

Hundreds of people marched into Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting to express their fear, frustration and outrage. But so far the response has been disappointing, particularly from the San Francisco Police Department. It seems intent on downplaying the role of race and its impact in the community.

Yet, young Black men continue to wonder blankly why they are so thoroughly reviled wherever they go. Only active media suppression of Europe’s ongoing rape is preventing an even further deterioration of how young Africans are viewed.

BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 818, May 1, 2018

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Iranian leaders are struggling, three months after anti-government protests swept the Islamic Republic, to ensure that environmental issues that helped spark a popular uprising in Syria in 2011 leading to a brutal civil war don’t threaten the clergy’s grip on power.

Like Syria, Iran has been suffering a drought that has affected much of the country for more than a decade, with precipitation dropping to its lowest level in half a century. Environmental concerns have figured prominently in protests in recent years, often in regions populated by ethnic minorities like Azeris and Iranian Arabs.

Unrest among ethnic minorities, who account for almost half of Iran’s population, have taken on added significance of late. Iran has reason to fear both Saudi Arabia’s activist crown prince, Muhammad bin Salman, and US President Donald Trump, whose antipathy towards the Islamic Republic has been bolstered by the appointment of hardliner John Bolton as his national security advisor.

  13. Richard: This is the last thing we need.

MSNBC host Chris Matthews said on Politico‘s “Off Message” podcast Tuesday that he has heard House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) plans to hand over leadership to Rep. Joe Kennedy III (D., Mass.).

Matthews brought the question of Democratic House leadership up during a discussion with host Edward-Isaac Dovere about what party will control the House after the November elections.

“Somebody hit me with the rumor last night that Nancy Pelosi is going to turn it over to Joey the third,” Matthews said. “Have you heard that rumor?”

The podcast host said he had not heard the rumor, but while Matthews said he previously expected Rep. Joe Crowley (D., N.Y.) to succeed Pelosi, Dovere did not appear surprised by the idea Kennedy might take her place.

  15. Former Presidential Candidate Under NEW Investigation

According to journalist Sarah Carter, the House Intelligence Committee is investigating former Secretary of State John Kerry over his possible role in the unverified anti-Trump dossier at the heart of the FBI’s Russia probe.

The documents, colloquially known as the Steele Dossier, after Christopher Steele, the ex-British spy behind it – was funded by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton campaign.

The Committee began quietly digging into Kerry’s connections after a former colleague and friend published and an op-ed in the Washington Post detailing his friendship with Steele.

  16. Ukraine: Is Russia Planning A New Invasion?

    by Judith Bergman

This April marks the fourth year of the ongoing war in Ukraine between the Ukrainian military and Russian backed separatists in the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics in eastern Ukraine, also known as the Donbas region. Prior to the beginning of the war in eastern Ukraine in April 2014, Russia annexed Crimea.

Russia’s aggression into Ukraine came in direct violation of its obligations under the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. Under the memorandum, in exchange for Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons, Russia reaffirmed its “obligation to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine” and promised that none of its weapons would ever be used against Ukraine except in self-defense or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.

Now, the question of further Russian or Russian-backed military operations in Ukraine has surfaced. In March, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko asserted that Russia has been strengthening its military presence on the border of Ukraine. According to Poroshenko:

  17. U.S. Confirms Authenticity of Secret Iran Nuclear Docs, Officials See Game Over for Deal
Trump administration officials praise Netanyahu’s ‘powerful presentation’

U.S. officials and congressional insiders view the disclosure Monday by Israel of Iran’s ongoing efforts to develop a nuclear weapon as game over for the landmark nuclear deal, telling the Washington Free Beacon that new evidence of Iran’s top secret nuclear workings makes it virtually impossible for President Donald Trump to remain in the agreement.

Senior Trump administration officials confirmed the findings as authentic and praised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s for disclosing thousands of secret documents proving Iran lied about its past work on a nuclear warhead, telling the Free Beacon the revelation was a “powerful presentation” by Israel outlining why the Iran deal must be fixed or killed.

U.S. officials who reviewed the secret documents confirmed their authenticity and said that Israel has shared the information fully with the United States, most likely to help build the case for Trump to abandon the nuclear deal, rather than try to fix what the White House views as a series of insurmountable flaws.

A State Department official confirmed to the Free Beacon Monday evening that it is “aware of the information just released” by Israel and is “examining it carefully.”

  18. Tariq Ramadan: “In Real Life, He is a Real Barbarian Towards Women” (moroccoworldnews, May 1, 2018)
    https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2018/05/245490/tariq-ramadan-in-real-life-he-is-a-real-barbarian-towards-women/

“Damning accounts against the Islamic scholar Tariq Ramadan continue to pile up.

In a recent interview with the Belgian channel RTL-TVI, Majda Bernoussi, the Belgian-Moroccan woman who claims to have been Ramadan’s mistress for five years, recounts her psychological ordeal for the first time after three years of silence.

Bernoussi is the first women to denounce Ramadan’s misconduct towards women in a 2014 video, in which she described her relationship with the Islamologist as “destructive,” and referred to Ramadan as “a manipulator.”

At the time of the video’s release, she promised to lead a “real fight” against the Islamologist and claimed that he had “trapped” several women. In 2015, the woman created multiple online publications, questioning Ramadan’s actions towards women. She also posted many videos explaining her hardship at the hands of the “intellectual” man.

An investigation between Mediapart and the Belgium website le Vife discovered earlier this month that Bernoussi was given a large sum of money– EUR 27,000–in exchange for her silence. In exchange, she pledged not to defame Ramadan on the internet or to send “insulting and/or threatening messages” to the Islamologist and his relatives.

The 45-year-old woman has not yet filed a complaint. However, she decided to overcome her fear and recount publicly her relationship with Ramadan, which she describes as “toxic,” claiming she had been a victim of psychological abuse.

“Tariq Ramadan is an extremely unhealthy predator and manipulator,” Bernoussi says, adding that “in real life, he is a real barbarian, both intellectually and physically.”

For Bernoussi, behind the camera lies a “pervert man who uses religion to manipulate and abuse women.”

“His ethics, his morals, his faith, he reserves them to the camera. Out of the public eye, he is just the opposite… He believes in nothing and even less in God. He talks about God only when it comes to manipulating us, apart from that, it’s never mentioned and he does exactly what he wants,” she added.

The 55-year-old theologian has been detained since February for his alleged sexual misconduct in France, following two accounts of rape filed against him in 2017. Last month, a French woman of Moroccan origin also filed a rape claim against Ramadan.

Up until now, the Islamologist denied having any relations with the first two women who accused him of rape. When confronted with the third woman’s evidence, he admitted to having consensual sexual relations with her, denying any coercion.”

  20. Poll: Germans, French Value ‘Social Justice’ over Individual Freedom (breitbart, May 1, 2018)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/05/01/poll-germans-value-social-justice-individual-freedom/

““Social justice” is significantly more important to Germans than individual freedom, according to a new study by Ipsos.

After polling nearly 21,000 people across 28 countries, the global market and opinion research company found that just 38 per cent of Germans prioritised so-called social justice over individual freedom.

Only in China (37 per cent) and France (36 per cent) did fewer people agree with the statement “individual freedom is more important than social justice” when responding to the survey, which Ipsos carried out to mark the 200th birthday of the Communist Manifesto author Karl Marx on May 5.

“Our data shows that there is a great yearning for more social justice in Germany,” said Robert Grimm, the pollster’s director of political and social research.

“There is a great deal of criticism directed at excesses of the neoliberal market economy,” he told newspaper Die Welt.

The survey also found Germans were reluctant to agree with the assertion that the free market produces “the best in man”, with just under half (49 per cent) endorsing this view.

Only in France were people less likely to agree with the statement (43 per cent) than in Germany, while the free market enjoyed the highest levels of confidence in India (86 per cent), Malaysia (84 per cent), and China (81 per cent)…”

Only in France were people less likely to agree with the statement (43 per cent) than in Germany, while the free market enjoyed the highest levels of confidence in India (86 per cent), Malaysia (84 per cent), and China (81 per cent)…”

Curious, isn’t it? Those countries with the farthest uphill climb in front of them are more willing to adopt free market economics, but those that are snugly ensconced in their fully-developed First World countries are all fritterpated about “Social Justice”.

The one disconcerting standout here is China, where only 37 percent of people agree with the statement, “individual freedom is more important than social justice”. At odds with this reluctance to protect human liberties is their profound adoration of free market economics (81 percent). This is a serious and alarming contradiction.

With somewhere on the order of one quarter of this world’s entire population it should be deeply disturbing that so many people in the Middle Kingdom continue to look towards Big Government™ for management of their daily lives. This overly-cooperative popular attitude does not bode well should Beijing suddenly decide to call up the troops.

Of equal or greater significance is the way that Red China and India have such a high regard for free market economics despite how the Capitalist system is one of the most fragile of all. Much like with firearms ownership, in free markets, everything depends upon all participants to consistently act in good faith. In this crucial respect, both Capitalism and firearms are amoral tools that depend entirely upon the ethics of those involved.

Here in America, the 1% has thoroughly violated that Social Contract of good (Capitalist) conduct and fair business practices. Given Communist China’s economic landscape, the outlook isn’t particularly encouraging. Their wildcat combination of free markets and corrupt command economy (along with massive environmental rape) has been nothing less than—the EU notwithstanding—”a candy store with a busted lock” (H/T Fjordman). Toss in all the Sino-Social Engineering and the prospects just get grimmer. Think: One Family One Child.

This entire “Social Justice” meme needs to be sorted out. The Common People are best qualified to administer justice: It’s why we Americans have juries (and guns!). Continued reliance upon Big Government™ to determine our collective fate is a fool’s errand, at best. Few folks these days seem to recall the old maxim of, “That government is best which governs least.”.

Just look at the dog’s breakfast of Britain’s National Health Service.

Would you want to be Charlie Gard (or Count Dankula, for that matter)?

  21. CIA Can ‘Selectively’ Share Secrets With Pet Reporters Without Challenge (sputniknews, May 2, 2018)
    https://sputniknews.com/military/201805021064072261-cia-selectively-secrets-reporters-challenge/

“A US federal judge has ruled that the Central Intelligence Agency may selectively give classified information to reporters at the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post and withhold the same information from other reporters requesting it, because, though it was shared, the information remains “classified.”

The judge’s ruling, which came down April 26, said that the CIA’s argument for the practice won’t be contested by the judicial system. The director of the CIA is “free to disclose classified information about CIA sources and methods selectively, if he concludes that it is necessary to do so in order to protect those intelligence sources and methods,” a judge in New York’s southern district wrote.

“And no court can second guess his decision,” the judge decreed.

Adam Johnson, a reporter at FAIR Media Watch, sued the CIA under a Freedom of Information Act case, trying to obtain a copy of an email thread between the CIA and reporters at NYT, Washington Post and WSJ.

According to Steven Aftergood, director of the Federation of American Scientists’ Project on Government Secrecy, the ruling threatens to hinder future FOIA cases.

“The Freedom of Information Act is a tool that can change as it is used, whether for the better or the worse, especially since FOIA case law rests on precedent,” Aftergood said in a Monday report.

“That means that a FOIA lawsuit that is ill-advised or poorly argued or that simply fails for any reason can alter the legal landscape to the disadvantage of future requesters. In particular, as anticipated a few months ago, ‘a lawsuit that was intended to challenge the practice of selective disclosure could, if unsuccessful, end up ratifying and reinforcing it.’ That is what has now happened,” the FAS Project on Government Secrecy director concluded.”

  22. PM Trudeau to attend dinner for Aga Khan in Ottawa

OTTAWA – The Aga Khan is in Ottawa this week and is expected to share a meal with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during his visit.

The Aga Khan is in town over the next four days to celebrate his Diamond Jubilee, according to Global Affairs Canada. On Wednesday, the Aga Khan will attend a dinner at the Governor General’s residence, Rideau Hall, and Trudeau will be in attendance, the Prime Minister’s Office has confirmed.

Governor General Julie Payette will host the dinner, and according to her office it will “bring together a cross-section of Canadians who, over the last 60 years, have worked with the Aga Khan and his community, both in Canada and abroad.”

The billionaire spiritual leader of the Shia Ismaili Muslims became an often-repeated name in the House of Commons last year, as a result of the ethics controversy surrounding a Trudeau family and friends trip to the Aga Khan’s private island in the Bahamas in 2016.

In December 2017, the federal Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner found that Trudeau broke the federal ethics act over accepting the trip, travelling on the Aga Khan’s helicopter, and not arranging his affairs or recusing himself from discussions that could place him in a conflict of interest, as the Aga Khan’s foundation was registered to lobby Trudeau at the time.

Trudeau apologized, saying he considered the Aga Khan a close family friend and that’s why he didn’t think to run it by the ethics commissioner before going. He has pledged to report any family trips in the future.

Trudeau’s family is currently residing at Rideau Cottage, which is on the grounds of Rideau Hall.

In addition to being a spiritual leader, the Aga Khan is the founder and chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network; and has received millions of dollars from the Canadian government for international development work.

“Canada congratulates His Highness the Aga Khan, on his Diamond Jubilee,” the government said in a statement announcing his visit.
