  1. FBI questions Ted Malloch, Trump campaign figure and Farage ally
American once touted as possible ambassador to EU tells of being detained at Boston airport and subpoenaed by Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia inquiry

A controversial London-based academic with close ties to Nigel Farage has been detained by the FBI upon arrival in the US and issued a subpoena to testify before Robert Mueller, the special counsel who is investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.
Ted Malloch, an American touted last year as a possible candidate to serve as US ambassador to the EU, said he was interrogated by the FBI at Boston’s Logan airport on Wednesday following a flight from London and questioned about his involvement in the Trump campaign.
In a statement sent to the Guardian, Malloch, who described himself as a policy wonk and defender of Trump, said the FBI also asked him about his relationship with Roger Stone, the Republican strategist, and whether he had ever visited the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where the Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has resided for nearly six years.

  2. Dershowitz On Special Counsel: The Investigation Should  End
“That’s What They Did In The Soviet Union, ‘Show Me The Man, And I’ll Find You The Crime'” | By Jack Fink | Geoff Petrulis | CBS 11

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Civil Liberties attorney Alan Dershowitz said Wednesday that he is fearful of the criminalization of political differences in today’s discourse and that he doesn’t think special counsels are the right way to approach criminal justice.
Dershowitz spoke to CBS 11 political reporter Jack Fink about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to affect the outcome of the 2016 election.

As Dershowitz has said in other places this is the criminalizing of opposing political opinions. This is action by the corrupt Special Counsel combined with the actions of the Corrupt Obama administration sever damage has been done to the rule of law. What we are waiting to find out is, was the damage fatal? It will be difficult for us to clean up the corruption and restore the rule of law without doing more damage to the rule of law.

  3. Parkland survivor David Hogg to John McCain: ‘Why do you take so much money from the NRA?’

David Hogg, the Parkland shooting survivor who has become a high-profile gun-reform advocate after the Feb. 14 mass murder of 17 people, on Friday turned his attention to Sen. John McCain, the top recipient of National Rifle Association money in Congress.
“Why do you take so much money from the NRA?” Hogg, 17, asked in a reply to a McCain Twitter message about the Phoenix-area  “Rio Reimagined” redevelopment project that was launched Friday.
McCain’s office could not  immediately be reached for comment, and McCain had not responded to Hogg’s question on Twitter.

Richard: As I said in a different thread Hogg is a turp floating the in political punch bowl, hopefully we will find a way to remove him that doesn’t make a martyr out of him.

  4. NRA Board Member Ted Nugent Calls Parkland Student Activists Liars: ‘They Have No Soul’
“I really feel sorry for them because it’s not only ignorant and dangerously stupid, but it’s soulless,”

Ted Nugent, the sometime classic rocker and current NRA board member, is speaking out about the new generation of gun reform advocates: the “pathetic” teenage “liars” who survived the deadly massacre last month at a high school in Parkland, Florida.
“These poor children, I’m afraid to say this and it hurts me to say this, but the evidence is irrefutable, they have no soul,” he said Friday on Newsmax’s “The Joe Pags Show.”
“The dumbing down of America is manifested in the culture deprivation of our academia that have taught these kids the lies, media that have prodded and encouraged and provided these kids lies,” he said after watching clips Parkland mass-shooting survivors such as David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez who have become leading advocates of legislation to curb gun violence in the U.S.

    • Parkland Student Publishes Contact Info For Execs To Pressure Them Into Boycott

On Thursday, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg took to Twitter to continue pressuring advertisers into dropping Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” and even went as far as to publish the names and contact information for several employees at one particular company.
Hogg, a far-left activist, went after Arby’s in a series of tweets for continuing to advertise on Laura Ingraham’s show as he continued his push for companies to drop the Fox News host. The Daily Caller reports:

Hogg deleted the tweets, but Business Insider took screenshots before he managed to remove them.
Hogg has refused to accept an apology from Ingraham, saying, “An apology in an effort just to save your advertisers is not enough.”
Ingraham has now lost at least eight advertisers, including Liberty Mutual, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Hulu, Johnson & Johnson, Wayfair, Nestlé and Nutrish.

  5. 13-year-old gubernatorial candidate supports tougher gun laws
Ethan Sonneborn, of Bristol, says if he were governor of Vermont, he would sign legislation to tighten the state’s gun laws.

    MONTPELIER, Vt. —
An unlikely candidate for Vermont governor says he would sign legislation to tighten the state’s gun laws if he held the top office.
Ethan Sonneborn, 13, of Bristol, is running as a Democrat in 2018.

He said he took part in his school’s walk out earlier this month against gun violence.
“My generation has been taking an important step in this because we’re the ones were getting shot,” Sonneborn said. “This affects us directly and people who say it can’t happen in Vermont, we came this close to it happening in Vermont. It will happen in Vermont if we don’t take action.”

  6. Red-State Teacher Unrest Just Keeps Spreading

Eight Kentucky school districts — including those in Louisville and Lexington — are closed today as teachers stay home to protest the GOP legislature’s destructive “reforms” of their pension system. Oklahoma teachers are planning to strike on Monday despite winning a $6,100 pay raise. And Arizona teachers rallied at the state capital on Wednesday and are threatening to strike if their demands for major pay raises and restoration of education funding cuts are not met.
As this wave of unrest among teachers spreads nationally, it’s clear it has been inspired by the nine-day strike that won West Virginia teachers (and other state employees) a pay raise earlier this month. But there’s something more fundamental going on than copycat protests. We’re seeing a teacher-led backlash against years, and even decades, of Republican efforts at the state level to cut taxes and starve public investments. This is very clear in Oklahoma, where a quick pay raise the legislature passed this week is deemed by teachers to have missed the larger point:

  7. Gazans bury their dead after bloodiest day in years

Gaza City (Palestinian Territories) (AFP) – Gazans buried their dead on Saturday with calls for “revenge” a day after a major demonstration led to clashes that saw Israeli forces kill 16 Palestinians in the bloodiest day since a 2014 war.
But while anger seethed over Friday’s events, only several hundred protesters had returned to tents erected at different sites near the Gaza Strip’s border with Israel by mid-afternoon to resume demonstrations planned to last six weeks in the blockaded enclave.
Thousands attended funerals for 14 of those killed — two were buried on Friday — with mourners holding Palestinian flags and some chanting “revenge” and firing into the air.
The armed wing of Hamas, the Islamist movement that runs the Gaza Strip, said that five of those killed were members who were participating “in popular events side-by-side with their people.”

  8. Abbas declares ‘national day of mourning’ after violent, fatal Gaza protests
At least 14 dead according to Hamas-run Palestinian health ministry, over 1,000 injured in clashes between IDF troops and rioters along Israel-Gaza border

Thousands of Gazans are demonstrating near the security fence with Israel as a six-week protest in which Gazans plan to set up camp near the barriers gets underway.

Dubbed the “March of Return,” the protest is backed by Gaza’s ruling regime, the Hamas terror group, and marks Land Day, when Palestinians commemorate the Israeli government’s expropriation of Arab-owned land in the Galilee on March 30, 1976, and ensuing demonstrations in which six Arab Israelis were killed.

  9. Israel says it will expand response if Gaza clashes go on

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — Israel will target “terror organizations” in Gaza if violence along the territory’s border with Israel drags on, the chief military spokesman warned Saturday, a day after thousands of Palestinians staged protests near the border fence.
The mass marches were led by Gaza’s ruling Hamas group and touted as the launch of a six-week-long protest campaign. Palestinian health officials said 15 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and more than 750 hit by live rounds, making it the bloodiest day in Gaza since the 2014 cross-border war between Israel and Hamas.

Junior Rodríguez is used to seeing death and violence up close because he’s a doctor in a public hospital in Venezuela, one of the world’s most dangerous countries.
But the violence has been turning more personal for Rodríguez and the rest of the medical staff at the Dr. Luis Razetti de Barcelona University Hospital in the eastern state of Anzoátegui.
The staffers work under constant death threats made by relatives or friends of patients — some of them dangerous gang members — if the patients die.

  12. Another student walkout over guns, but this time by 2A supporters: The MSM’s reaction?
By Howard Portnoy March 31, 2018

On Friday, students from another Florida high school staged another walkout. Florida cable station News 13  reported that “more than 70 students gathered on the Rockledge High practice field to rally in support of the Second Amendment,” adding:
The students spoke about exercising their right to bear arms.
“We are not backing down. We aren’t taking no for an answer,” said Anna Delaney, a junior gun-rights advocate who co-organized the rally, which lasted about about 25 minutes.
Student organizers said they were affected by the Parkland school shooting and respected  the national gun control walkout  many of their fellow students participated in several weeks ago.
But after they said they were denied their own pro-Second Amendment rally several times by school administrators and school leaders, they were finally given permission to gather at Rockledge High School on Friday.

  14. Regarding the Gaza situation, what I don’t understand is that Israel is in possession of a weapon called the skunk which lets up nauseating fumes and causes people to disperse it’s also in possession of Sonic subsonic noise machines that cause people to be nauseous and disoriented and wish to leave, I’m also not understanding how that fence is so flimsy and pathetic, what happened to using the tools that you’ve got instead of the biggest hammer that you’ve got, this is coming from an Israel supporter that generally thinks all the Arabs need to go, but I don’t understand why they didn’t handle it with a little more of a velvet glove instead of a open fire policy? Thoughts?
