Ottawa man shows how selective enforcement works in terms of charter rights to free speech

Ottawa Sun:

Editorial: Bubble zone threatens free speech

Ontario’s abortion bubble zone legislation poses a threat to free speech.

Or, at least the way it’s being applied does.

It doesn’t matter whether one is pro-choice or anti-abortion: We can all be concerned about the way the government has specifically targeted the views of one set of people.

Cyril Winter, a well-known anti-abortion protester, had the police descend upon him recently because he was carrying a sign that said, “Freedom of Expression and Religion, No Censorship.”

(Please click through and read the rest. It sickens me to say that the Sun article is outrageous because it is a sick situation when one has to consider it courageous to write something so laughably obvious only a few short years ago. Perhaps a decade or so.

Interview of Mr. Winter from February 27, 2018

  1. “Freedom of Expression and Religion, No Censorship.”

Put another way, “Freedom of Religion and Uncensored Expression.”

    The American Bill of Rights.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

There are no greater commandment than these.

    As it was originally expressed:

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'”

We cannot have freedom of religion and uphold blasphemy laws.

We cannot have freedom of expression and have children turned into a raging-hungry predators with only a group-identity remaining.

The first dystopia is Islam and the second Communism. Robots or Zombies.

The playtimes of wear-a-burka-for-peace and welfare-rights will be over.

And greater versions than these two deumanizers will be invented, that make Muhammad into a saint, and LGBTQ+ virgins.

  2. The federal Liberals and the provincial Liberals are a threat to free speech.
