Hungary’s truly Nazi party, joins with Islam as Europe’s only hope

Those of you who watched Viktor Orban’s recent speech might recall him quoting the leader of Jobbik, Hungary’s truly Nazi party, and who at one point commanded about 16.5% of the Hungarian vote.

The quote was about how Jobbik had said that Europe’s only hope for a future was Islam.

Thanks to Xanthippa and CrossWare we found the source of that. It was at a joint speech, I think in Turkey, in 2013.

More recently, when the same leader of Jobbik was giving a speech, an audience member felt it might be worth reminding him of his statement.

  1. Hungary hasn’t forgotten the Ottoman Empire so why should Hungarians kiss Turkey’s ass now? I wouldn’t be surprised if Soros was feeding these idiots money just to undermine Orban and to make Hungary look bad. That’s what I would do if I were Soros. Orban must be quite pleased with the caliber of his opposition.

  2. Back in 2010, Jobbik also organized the “Arab-Hungarian Friendship Day” which was scheduled for September 11, 2010

Krisztina Morvai, who later was elected one of Jobbik’s three European Parliament members, lashed out at Israel for its offensive in Gaza.
“The only way to talk to people like you is by assuming the style of Hamas,” she was quoted as writing on a closed e-mail list. “I wish all of you lice-infested, dirty murderers will receive Hamas’ ‘kisses.’ ”
At a party rally March 15, Jobbik’s 31-year-old leader, Gabor Vona, told thousands of followers that Hungary must seek independence from “Washington, Brussels,” — that is, the European Union — “Tel Aviv” and other powers.
Web sites and publications linked to Jobbik are much more explicit, bashing Israel and employing vicious anti-Semitic invective that evokes Nazi-era propaganda.
“Hungary is a Jewish colony” was the headline of an interview on one such Web site with the brother of one of Jobbik’s vice presidents.
Kovacs says he believes Jews are fearful of Jobbik’s gains but are less worried that they will translate into anti-Jewish policies. About 100,000 Jews live in Hungary, most of them in Budapest.

(JTA) — A leader of Hungary’s far-right, anti-Semitic Jobbik Party questioned the Holocaust, claimed that Jews were colonizing Hungary and that Israel runs “a Nazi system.”
Marton Gyongyosi, deputy leader and foreign affairs spokesman for Hungary’s third largest party, also said in an interview with Britain’s Jewish Chronicle published Feb. 2 that
Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians is a “Nazi system.”
Jobbik holds 47 seats in the 386-seat Hungarian legislature and, according to the Chronicle, is set to capitalize on Hungary’s severe economic downturn.
In the Jewish Chronicle interview, Gyongyosi questioned whether 400,000 Jews were killed or deported from Hungary during World War II.
“It has become a fantastic business to jiggle around with the numbers,” he said.
Gyongyosi called successful Israeli businesses in Hungary a threat and “expansionism.”
“Jews are looking to build outside of Israel. There is a kind of expansionism in their behavior,” he said.
Gyongyosi indicated that a 2007 speech by Israeli President Shimon Peres, in which he praised the success of Israeli businesses in the Diaspora, including Hungary, was a threat
to his country, saying that “If Peres is supporting colonization, it is a natural reaction for people to feel that Jews are not welcome here.”
Gyongyosi said Israel was founded by “terrorists” and that it runs a “Nazi system based on racial hatred. Look at [Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor] Lieberman, he’s no different than
Goebbels. He is a pure Nazi.”
The Jobbik leader also said his party supports Iran.
“Iran is in the center of a Middle East axis that Israel and the U.S. want to subjugate and keep under their control,” Gyongyosi told the Chronicle. “Iran is an extremely peaceful country and never started a war, unlike Israel which has declared wars on anything and everybody around it.”

Genetically speaking, Hungarians’ closest relatives are the “torgaji madjars” of Kazakhstan and among present day Europeans the Bulgarians are our closest relatives; but the research has also found genetic links to Ukrainians and Turks.
