  1. The transgender ideology is being covertly funded by a network of wealthy transgender donors and a variety of investors in the drug, surgery and healthcare industries, says Jenifer Bilek, a New York-based feminist.
Bilek tracked the flow of pro-transgender funding via donors and business groups, and she argues more than $400 million has been spent to promote the claim that men can switch their “gender” to become legal women whenever they want to do so.

That gender-trumps-biology demand requires government to silence women when men who claim they are women parade into women’s’ bathrooms and showers, sports contests and civic groups, or into fashion and status displays or into feminist advocacy groups.

The ideology also requires that men keep quiet when women claim they are men, and demands that parents and doctors, reporters, researchers and surgeons all stay silent in face of growing evidence that the ideology and associated medical treatments are hazardous to the subjects’ lifetime physical health and to personal stability.

  2. A LAWSUIT AGAINST THE FBI FOR ITS ROLE IN A 2015 TERROR ATTACK IN TEXAS HAS TAKEN A DETOUR OVER DISCOVERY ISSUES.
FBI MIGHT AVOID TURNING OVER DOCUMENTS IN TEXAS ATTACK LAWSUIT
By Todd Shepherd, Washington Free Beacon, February 20, 2018:

Security guard injured in 2015 shooting wants answers to level of FBI’s undercover involvement

Bruce Joiner, a security guard shot in the leg by two radicalized Islamists at a “Draw Muhammad” event in the North Dallas suburb of Garland in May of that year, learned months later that an FBI agent had been undercover in the terrorist cell that executed the attack. The agent had texted one of the assailants to “Tear up Texas” a few days before the attack, and was also in a separate vehicle directly behind the two terrorists taking pictures of them just seconds before they opened fire at a perimeter parking checkpoint.

The undercover agent, described in court documents as being dressed in Middle Eastern attire, tried to flee the scene when the shooting began but was stopped by local police.

Attorneys for the FBI asked for a dismissal in recent federal court filings, but have taken the extra step of asking the court to delay all discovery until the court rules on the dismissal motion.

Joiner is suing the FBI for liability and is asking for just over $8 million in damages, but has maintained in other media interviews and also through his attorney that he is bringing the suit primarily to get to the bottom of the FBI’s involvement leading up to the attack.

  3. “Axis of Resistance” is a term you’ll hear more these days. It’s worth a close look, even if the jumble of foreign names and identities are hard to absorb. Arabic, Farsi, Kurdish, Afghan and Paki dialects with variant spellings. Just a half-dozen names help tease out the dynamics of Iran’s long game.

Khomeini cooked up the term to refer to his “government of the jurists”. An über-Shitte alternative to the Sunni “universal caliphate”. We encountered this lot in Iraq in 2003. General Petraeus [a jerk, but still…] believes this army of proxies – the “Mahdi Army” in its various incarnations – is more of a longterm threat to the U.S. than al-Queda.

The militias are loyal to the clerics, not Iran per se. They’re fraught with internal contradictions; an ethnic jumble that doesn’t coalesce and never will. The “mahdi- martyr” gimmick is cynically deployed to dispose of excess males and forge a new identity. The guys at the top are degenerate sybarites bent on empire at any cost.

While Assad may nominally hold reclaimed areas in the south, he will never truly control them so long as Tehran tells its militia proxies to secure that corridor for its own purposes.

    https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20180220-saudi-cleric-tells-libyas-haftar-to-protect-himself/

“Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, leader of the self-styled Libyan National Army, must preserve “Muslims and Salafists’ blood” and “protect himself”, a Saudi cleric has said.

In a leaked phone conversation Osama Ataya Al-Otaibi allegedly instructs Haftar: “There is an important thing; the flag you raise should be clear; you should focus on supporting the real Islam that is followed by our Salafist brothers.”

Al-Otaibi added how the aim of Haftar’s “Dignity Operation” against Islamist militants in the country is to restore the country’s prestige which has been spoiled by “the Muslim Brotherhood and the Khawarij”.

Haftar was urged to renounce “democracy” and focus only on supporting “the flag of Islam”….”

“Coup militias in Yemen have turned to a public draft as they suffer countless losses on nationwide battlefields. Orders have been sent out to annul voluntary recruitment and sending for military personnel forced to abandon posts when the insurgency was launched.

Enlistment demand coincided with the failure of the “voluntary” recruitment campaign that was called for earlier this year, as well as the escalation of dissent among coup officers, as defectors hurl into government-controlled areas and join in among their ranks…”

“Boko Haram militants launched an attack on a girls boarding school in northeast Nigeria but the students and teachers fled to safety, witnesses said on Monday.

A convoy of fighters in pickup trucks descended on Dapchi village in the Bursari area of Yobe state around 6pm (1700 GMT) targeting the school, resident Sheriff Aisami told AFP.

“When they stormed the village they began shooting and setting off explosives,” Aisami said.

  10. Rights of Muslim women suffer under Malaysia’s ambition to become Islamic state (asiancorrespondent, Feb 20, 2018)
    https://asiancorrespondent.com/2018/02/rights-muslim-women-suffer-malaysias-ambition-become-islamic-state/#l8iOvHrE5GpS2xgM.97

“A REVIEW of women’s rights in Malaysia at the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) determined that women’s and children’s rights have suffered under the country’s increasing Islamisation. Muslim women were also found to enjoy fewer rights than their non-Muslim counterparts under the country’s dual legal system.

The coalition of 37 civil societies and global movement Musawah also expressed concern at the government’s lack of commitment to tackling gender inequality. The review took place Monday in Geneva, Switzerland, at the committee’s 69th annual session.

Local women’s groups, including the Sisters of Islam, were at the UN gathering to shine a light on the lived realities of women’s lives in Malaysia.

A statement released following the review urged the government to see gender mainstreaming as a national issue as opposed to being the sole responsibility of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development.

It also noted that the increasing collaboration between State and non-State actors to push for Syariah-compliant policies has had an adverse effect on women and children who have “borne the brunt of these aspirations to turn Malaysia into an Islamic state.”

Within the plural legal system – both Civil and Syariah systems – the rights of non-Muslim women have advanced while two rounds of reform to the Islamic family law has led to increased discrimination against Muslim women…”

“President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has said the government was wrong to shelve an attempt to criminalize adultery and extra-marital sex (zina) in 2004, an issue that caused a major row between Turkey and the EU during accession talks at the time.

“This society holds a different status in terms of its moral values,” Erdo?an said at the ruling Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) weekly parliamentary group meeting in Ankara on Feb. 20.

“This is self-criticism. I must say that in the EU process we made a mistake … We should now evaluate making regulations about adultery and perhaps consider it together with the issue of harassment and others,” he added.

“This is an issue where Turkey is different from most Western countries,” Erdo?an said…”

About 150 dangerous Islamists are being held in prisons across Germany, according to figures from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), published by German daily Die Welt on Wednesday.

The men are either serving jail sentences or are in custody on terror-related charges, the paper cited the BKA as saying.

The newspaper said there were also several “relevant persons” being held, which it said were those regarded as sympathizers or supporters of radical Islam.

  14. Paris knife brawl between rival gangs leaves 5 wounded (thelocal, Feb 20, 2018)
    https://www.thelocal.fr/20180220/paris-knife-brawl-between-rival-gangs-leaves-5-wounded

“A huge brawl between 20 people in the Pont Neuf area of the capital resulted in five people being hospitalized for knife wounds and other injuries.

At around 8.40pm on Monday February 18, up to 20 people gathered close to the Forum des Halles shopping complex in central Paris to take part in an almost medieval battle.

Thought to all be members of rival groups belonging to Paris’s Tamil community, French TV channel BFMTV reported, some of the men are believed to have pulled out knives and fought each other to the death, or at least the brink of it.

Two people were taken to Paris hospitals after being stabbed, one several times in the back, the other in the head, abdomen and leg.

Three other gang members received treatment for injuries to their hands, incurred quite possibly while trying to protect themselves from the knives and other weapons being used by the assailants.

Police at the scene found knives, a telescopic baton and a tear gas canister.

An investigation has been opened, with the motives of the fight still officially unknown.

BFMTV reported that another Paris brawl led to the stabbing and death of a fifteen year old on Saturday.

In this case, the rival gang members did not know each other but fighting broke out after a female member from one side started to be harassed by the other clan. “
