  1. OTTAWA, ON—In order to ensure the politically correct use of the English language across the nation, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau deployed a special squad of Royal Canadian Mounted Police to patrol cities, towns, and neighborhoods making sure no one uses outdated terms like “mankind.”

According to Trudeau, anyone caught saying “mankind” instead of the more inclusive “peoplekind” will be apprehended and taken away to an undisclosed location.

“This is 2018,” Trudeau said in a speech, which was politely applauded by hundreds of Canadian citizens. “Any word containing the syllable—trigger warning—’man’ is now illegal under Canadian federal law.”

Other words banned under the new regulations include mandatory, mandate, and manatee, which will be replaced by the more inclusive terms peopledatory, peopledate, and peopleatee respectively, according to a statement published by the Canadian government.

  3. The Clinton Dossier
Exposing the collusion between the DOJ and the Clintons.

There were many damning revelations in the Nunes memo released by a House Intelligence Committee vote. But the most damning of them all doesn’t raise questions about process, but about motive.

The memo told us that the FISA application would not have happened without the Steele dossier. The document known as the Steele dossier was a work product of the Clinton campaign. Not only was Christopher Steele, the former British intel agent who purportedly produced the document, working for an organization hired by the Clinton campaign, but he shared a memo with the FBI from Cody Shearer, a Clinton operative, listing some of the same allegations as the ones in his dossier. That memo has raised questions about whether Steele had been doing original research or just dressing up a smear by Shearer.

A redacted memo by Senate Judiciary Committee members Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham also states that there was a second Steele memo based on information that Steele had received from the State Department and which had been passed along by “a friend of the Clintons.” Victoria Nuland, a Clinton protégé and top State Department official who helped cover up the Benghazi attack, recently went on a media tour in which she revealed that Steele had passed along his material to State.

    A heap big personal discovery.

    Bruce Bawer

When I was a child I became curious, as children sometimes will, about my family history. Although my grandfathers were dead, my grandmothers were alive, and I asked them what they knew about our origins.

The answer: not much. But they provided me with a few names, enabling me to draw up the rudimentary beginnings of a family tree.

Later, I spent a good deal of time in the New York Public Library’s genealogy room, trying to trace my ancestry back from those names. (There was no Internet then.) I didn’t get anywhere with my father’s side of the family – his parents were Poles who’d fled Europe during World War I – but I was able to follow a couple of lines on my mother’s side back to colonial Virginia and Pennsylvania.

It was fun. But nobody else in the family cared. And then life came calling, and I put away all my findings in a folder in my parents’ basement.

  5. Saudi Immigrant With Pilot’s License Tried to Join Al Qaeda
    February 7, 2018
    Daniel Greenfield

The question is, “Have we learned anything from 9/11”? The obvious answer is, “No we haven’t.”

And this case is about as explicit a demonstration of that as you could ask for.

Naif Abdulaziz Alfallaj was arrested by federal law enforcement in Weatherford Monday, the U.S. Department of Justice said.

According to the complaint filed against Alfallaj, the FBI discovered his fingerprints on an Oklahoma pilot’s school application matched fingerprints on an application for an al Qaeda training camp. The document, from 2000, is for the al Farooq camp. The camp trained some of Osama Bin Laden’s “highest ranking deputies, and several of the hijackers from the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, and at least one individual who was convicted for his role in the 1998 East Africa Embassy bombings,” the complaint says.

Yes, he had a pilot’s license. After all what’s wrong with a Saudi immigrant getting a pilot’s license? What’s the worst that could happen?

    • What’s the worst that could happen?

Hows about … Naif Abdulaziz Alfallaj magically finding his way onto a refrigerated coroner’s slab in some obscure little town? Actually, that might be the BEST thing “that could happen”. Please feel free to suggest any corrections.

  6. A Double Standard on Treason
    February 7, 2018
    Daniel Greenfield

Before the memo was released, Senator Cory Booker was quick to throw around accusations of treason.

“I might say tantamount to treasonous in the sense of: when you violate the intelligence community’s mandates around classified documentation and what should be released, you could be betraying or, especially if you’re revealing sources and methods or giving some color to sources and methods, you are actually endangering fellow Americans in the intelligence community and our ability to source intelligence,” Senator Booker had insisted. “So, to me, this is something that could be potentially viewed as treasonous.”

Then once the Nunes memo was released, and not even the biggest CNN or Washington Post hack could find a single piece of classified information there that would endanger a mouse, Booker packed up his tent for the next show, complete with squeezing tears out with an onion.

    • You don’t have to have a violent, evil goal to end up with evil if the demands of reality necessitate violence and evil to bring about your goal.

Thank you so much, Richard. Your contributions at this site are priceless. Nonetheless, this particular video is beyond all ordinary estimation.

This short (<3:00 minute) clip is a precious exposé of (cultural or otherwise) Communism's unending war against Western Civilization. When concerned individuals put a PERMANENT (p'raps lead-filled) halt to this madness, I'll wager that everything mysteriously changes very much for the better.

Again, thank you for your clearly determined opposition to evil.

      • I try, I am too old to do much more the post on the blog but if I can convince one person a year to fight for freedom the time is well spent.

  7. Black Lives Matter leader shot dead

The Black Lives Matter leader known for diving over a barrier to snatch a Confederate flag from a protester on live TV last year was shot dead in New Orleans, police said.

Muhiyidin Elamin Moye, who went by Muhiyidin d’Baha, was found dead Tuesday morning after being shot in the thigh while riding his bicycle, the Advocate reported.

New Orleans police spokesman Beau Tidwell said no information about a potential motive or suspects was immediately available.

D’Baha, 32, moved to South Carolina from Poughkeepsie, NY, when he was 13 and was in the Big Easy on a personal trip, his niece Camille Weaver told the Post and Courier.

“He loved Charleston and loved fighting for what’s right,” she said. “I’ve never met anyone more committed and hardworking than him. He was an asset to the Charleston community and will be greatly missed.”

The activist drew national attention last February when he was arrested for jumping over a barricade in an attempt to grab a Confederate flag away from a demonstrator at the College of Charleston.

  8. Harvard Bans All-Male Groups, Allows All-Female Groups

Harvard University is “banning” single-sex organizations—but only ones that consist of only men.

Female organizations and clubs will be allowed to become “gender-focused.”

In May 2016, Harvard announced the ban on single-gender groups, claiming that the “propagated exclusionary values.” Under the rule, members of single-sex groups would be banned from participating in Harvard athletics, leadership positions, and scholarships.

But female students protested the policy, claiming it would negatively impact single-sex groups and target “spaces for women,” though they were, shockingly, regardless still in favor banning all-male groups in order to combat “elitism, classism, and exclusivity.”

After more than a year of debate, Harvard decided that move forward with the ban on single-sex organizations after all—but, as of now, only for all-male groups.

  11. Death of Democracy? – Part I

    by Denis MacEoin
    February 7, 2018 at 5:00 am

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/11807/democracy-death

For many complex reasons, Europe is in an advanced state of decline. In recent years, several important studies of this condition have appeared, advancing a variety of reasons for it: Douglas Murray’s The Strange Death of Europe: Immigration, Identity, Islam, James Kirchik’s The End of Europe: Dictators, Demagogues, and the Coming Dark Age, as well as Christopher Caldwell’s ground-breaking 2010 study, Reflections on the Revolution in Europe: Immigration, Islam and the West. Soeren Kern at Gatestone Institute has also been detailing the steady impact of immigration from Muslim regions on countries such as Germany, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

It is clear that something serious is happening on the continent in which I live.

The threat is not restricted to Europe, but has a global dimension. Michael J. Abramowitz, President of Freedom House, writes in his introduction to the organization’s 2018 report:

A quarter-century ago, at the end of the Cold War, it appeared that totalitarianism had at last been vanquished and liberal democracy had won the great ideological battle of the 20th century.

Today, it is democracy that finds itself battered and weakened. For the 12th consecutive year, according to Freedom in the World, countries that suffered democratic setbacks outnumbered those that registered gains. States that a decade ago seemed like promising success stories—Turkey and Hungary, for example—are sliding into authoritarian rule.

For Douglas Murray, immigration and the problems it is throwing up are the key topic. He is uncompromising in his negative response to the social change that has been brought about by the excessive and barely controlled immigration of people who, for the most part, do not share the most basic values of the countries in which they now live.

  12. Why aren’t libertarians screaming at the Democrats over info in the Nunes memo?
By Jeff Dunetz February 6, 2018

The Nunes memo is not about party politics, protecting the President, or the Mueller investigation. The memo is all about a possible violation of the 4th Amendment and the need to protect Americans from an out of control FISA court process.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) who wrote parts of the memo is correct when he says that it has nothing to do with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s actions in the 2016 election and the claims of Trump Campaign collision. However, what the memo does prove is at least one case of abuse of power by the FBI, which should concern all Americans who value freedom. There may be other cases yet unseen of the FBI using bogus evidence to gain a search warrant on American citizens, and those might involve you or me, or anyone who disagreed with Obama’s politics. Remember the IRS Targeting scandal has been proven true (is it possible Obama did the same with the DOJ?). If the Democrats really cared about the country they would be calling for an investigation into all abuses of the FISA court system so as to protect the American people.

The bottom line is that the FBI used an unvetted dossier to get a surveillance warrant against Carter Page. The Democrats argue that Carter Page’s associations with the Russians were well-known within the FBI and he deserved to be placed under surveillance – and that may well be the case. If so, that’s another failure of the FBI, because he wasn’t being survived until the dossier, and if he was a national security threat why wasn’t the Trump campaign warned? Asst. FBI director McCabe said if it weren’t for the dossier the FBI wouldn’t have tried to get the warrant. And when attempting to get the warrant, they never told the judge that the dossier was paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC

  13. Advice for Jihadi Brides Brought to You by Al-Qaeda

By Meira Svirsky Wednesday, February 7, 2018

Apparently fed up with ISIS which is putting women on the front lines when they should be at home preparing to take care of their husbands, al-Qaeda launched a new magazine for jihadi brides titled Beituki (“Your Home”). Here’s everything you need to know — in al-Qaeda’s opinion — to take care of a jihadi husband.

P.S. We aren’t making this up. The magazine and its advice are for real.

However cruel it may seem for me to say; the longer that these moronic jihadist broodmares remain under the collective wife-beating thumbs of their hyper-misogynistic men, the sooner that they will absorb whatever necessary degree of physical punishment and psychological abuse that, one day, might help them become the genuinely valuable proponents of legitimate global Feminism.

Until then, these buncha idiot, rage addicted, wannabe pseudo-Liberal fü¢ks can rot in (whatever lightly beaten) eternal hell.

First Assad, Then the World: Al Qaida’s Strategy in Syria

Bottom Line: While ISIS’s territory has dwindled, al Qaida has managed to build a strong following in Syria, and may use the civil-war-torn country as a base from which to target the West. The group has evolved into the network’s largest global affiliate by strategically positioning itself as a key opposition movement battling the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Background: Al Qaida’s Syrian offshoot, formerly known as Jabhat al-Nusra or the al-Nusra Front, emerged in 2011 against the backdrop of the Syrian civil war.

Issue: HTS has seized upon the opportunity presented by the Syrian civil war to champion itself as a defender of the Syrian people. By administering key social services and emerging as the strongest opposition force fighting the Assad regime, HTS has lured in new recruits and has paved the way for its jihadist ideology to permeate across Idlib. At the same time, the U.S. intelligence community has struggled to gauge the full strength of al Qaida’s operations in Syria….

Perhaps strangest of all is that such an insanely treasonous act like Hillary Clinton’s proponency of the Uranium One deal seems to rank rather low in priority amongst the otherwise unending roster of High Crimes and Misdemeanors that came about during 0bama’s executive tenure.

  15. DAILY MAIL – UK – Foreign Office staff invited to wear hijab for the day: Civil service accused of promoting ‘oppression of women’ after giving out free headscarves

Foreign Office bigwigs invited staff to wear Islamic headscarves for the day
The mandarins claimed they symbolised ‘liberation, respect and security’ to staff
Meanwhile women in ultra-conservative Iran burned their headscarves in protest
Event held just days before 100th anniversary of UK women being given the vote

Mandarins at the Foreign Office invited staff to wear Islamic headscarves for the day, claiming they symbolised ‘liberation, respect and security’.

The department was accused of backing the ‘institutional oppression of women’ by giving away taxpayer-funded headscarves at a walk-in event to mark World Hijab Day.

The event was held as women in ultra-conservative Iran burned their headscarves in protest at being forced to wear them or face arrest and prison.

Many Muslim women across the world have shunned the hijab – which covers the hair and neck but not the face – as an antiquated, oppressive, religious tool.

The event was last Thursday, just days before Britain marked the 100th anniversary of women being given the vote.

Maajid Nawaz, who heads the counter-extremism think-tank the Quilliam Foundation, criticised the department for ‘supporting World Hijab Day and the institutional oppression of women through modesty culture, while brave Iranian women risk all to remove hijab tyranny’.

Anti-hijab activist Masih Alinejad told Reuters: ‘We are fighting against the most visible symbol of oppression. These women are saying, “It is enough – it is the 21st century and we want to be our true selves.”’

Tory MP Andrew Bridgen said: ‘I’d like to know whose bright idea this was. It is ridiculous, a complete waste of taxpayers’ money and not the business of a Government department.

‘I can’t see the Foreign Office promoting Christianity or the handing out of crosses.’

An internal email to Foreign Office staff said the event was taking place on February 1 between midday and 2pm inside the department’s headquarters at Whitehall.

It read: ‘Would you like to try on a hijab or learn why Muslim women wear the headscarf? Come along to our walk-in event. Free scarves for all those that choose to wear it for the day or part of the day.

‘Muslim women, along with followers of many other religions, choose to wear the hijab. Many find liberation, respect and security through wearing it. #StrongInHijab. Join us for #WorldHijabDay.’ Posters for the event, featuring Foreign Office branding, were circulated. World Hijab Day, an annual event, was also marked in the Scottish Parliament.

In mainstream Muslim teaching, the hijab is commonly worn by girls after they hit puberty.

But critics have claimed the garment is a symbol of male oppression, citing the compulsory veiling of women in hard-line Islamic countries such as Saudi Arabia.

Videos showing women burning the hijab have been posted on social media in solidarity with a protest movement against enforced headscarf in Iran. They were posted online with the hashtag #NoHijabDay, a response to last week’s World Hijab Day event.

Last Friday, Iranian media reported that Tehran police had arrested 29 women for appearing in public without a headscarf.

The Islamic dress code, in place since the 1979 revolution, considers veiling obligatory for any female above 13 in Iran and says they should cover themselves from head to toe while disavowing any figure-hugging dress.

A Foreign Office spokesman said: ‘This was an internal event for staff in London who wished to gain a better understanding of the different cultural and social issues they may face when working overseas.’

A row over the hijab has been rumbling after a primary school headmistress who was subjected to vile abuse for trying to ban the veil. Neena Lall set uniform policies which ‘promote cohesion’ at St Stephen’s, a secular state school in Newham, east London.

But the head was compared to Hitler in an online video circulated by parents after she said girls under eight should not have to wear the veil in class.

Following a backlash from local councillors, the policy was reversed.

The Foreign Office employs about 4,200 staff in the UK, according to its latest equality and diversity report.

Of those, around 43 per cent – or 1,800 – are women.
