1. At last, some analysis of the Quebec mosque-shooting trial.

QUIGGIN: The Quebec mosque story has many layers

(Best to click through and read it all. There really is no single few paragraphs that give the general idea.)

2. Cop Hurt as Cycling Mob Rides Wrong Way Through NYC Streets, Attacks Drivers: Witnesses, Police

(This is an unusual event and hard to completely dismiss in this day and age of leftist and Islamic terror. Muslims, possibly even trainee jihadis, are unlikely to use a tactic like this. But groups fully indoctrinated with a leftist message and a certainty of their moral status as victims easily could do this.)

3. Carleton University newspaper does aa truthful and important article about fake hate crimes and the manner in which they are used for political gain.

(If the author used his real name on that article, he may expect the same sort of ‘rewards’ that truth tellers have always received for most of human history. Defy the narrative, add the word, “re” to education at the best.)

4. Christians protest religion-themed assignment in Elgin-area school

(Nice to see that at least some Christians noticed that bulls**t wasn’t working anymore and are dealing with the facts. Allah and God/Jesus are about as similar as Lex Luther and Donald Duck. Even if both are not real, their attributes are fundamentally different and therefore, those who emulate those attributes will have polar opposite values.)

Dozens of people spoke out Monday against a homework assignment made at an Elgin-area U46 school in which it was asserted Christian, Muslim and Jewish faiths all believe in the same God.

One month after the assignment was criticized by U46 school board member Jeanette Ward, people who identified themselves as part of the Christian community attended the school board meeting Monday to add their opposition.

Several people attacked the assignment, quoting Bible and Quran verses to support their argument that Christians do not follow the same God as Muslims. Some of those who spoke live outside the U46 boundaries, including one person who came from Florida.

“To say that Allah of the Quran and the God of the Bible are the same is simply absurd,” said Art Ellingsen, a church pastor from Arlington Heights.

5. College play cancelled after black activist groups insisted that merit was racist and white people must not get good roles no matter how good they are.

School cancels ‘Hunchback of Notre Dame’ due to white student getting lead role

The group’s demands, listed on its Facebook page, included a cessation of play  rehearsals, a stoppage of hiring (production) people who have not “changed their actions” following complaints from “parents of color” and “social justice activists,” and an end to the “racist and openly stated policy of ‘color blind’ casting.”

According to the Ithaca Journal, the activists got their first wish, helped by “a flood of letters from members of the community.”

6. CNN seems to be upping their rhetoric against President Trump quite a bit.

7. Holy Cross will keep the name “Crusaders” after concerns that it was offensive

(Two bits of sanity in one post? Is their a sea change on the horizon?)

The College of the Holy Cross is keeping its century-old sports name “the Crusaders” after eight weeks of campus reflection amid concerns the name could offend Muslims.

The Worcester college’s board of trustees voted yesterday to keep the name, explaining it sees the moniker in a modern light.

“While we acknowledge that the Crusades were among the darkest periods in Church history, we choose to associate ourselves with the modern definition of the word crusader, one which is representative of our Catholic, Jesuit identity and our mission and values as an institution and community,” Holy Cross President the Rev. Philip L. Boroughs and Board Chair John J. Mahoney wrote yesterday in an email to students, staff, faculty and alumni.

Men are scared, and feminists are delighted. But the urge to call out and punish male sexual transgression is bound to clash with an inescapable truth: We’re all in this together, men and women.

Consider what’s happening in the capital of Florida. Female staffers and lobbyists have found “many male legislators will no longer meet with them privately,” reported The Miami Herald. “I had a senator say, ‘I need my aide here in the room because I need a chaperone,’ ” lobbyist Jennifer Green told the paper. “I said, ‘Senator, why do you need a chaperone? .?.?. Do you feel uncomfortable around me?’ ‘Well,’ he said, ‘anyone can say anything with the door shut.’?”

“I’m getting the feeling that we’re going back 20 years as female professionals,” said Green, who owns her company. “I fully anticipate I’m going to be competing with another firm that is currently owned by some male, and the deciding factor is going to be: ‘You don’t want to hire a female lobbying firm in this environment.’?”

(When women have all the power and no responsibility its hard to understand why any man who had spent his entire life and sacrificed much to achieve success would risk it by hiring or interacting in any way with a woman who could destroy him and take it all with a mere accusation of something banal but with sexual implications. As much as I dislike former VP Biden, when he was a accused of skinning dipping in front of female Secret Service personnel, my first thought was he is in a  lose-lose. If he had insisted on only male SS guards, he would have been equally or more chastised.

The only answer in the face of these views is to hire less qualified people from groups that are acceptable to the left and then fundamentally change your behaviour to suit your employees. This won’t work out well for anyone in the medium and long run.)

  1. #6. FALSE FLAG ALERT FOR SUPER BOWL 18 –

Head of NFL Security Cathy Lanier was the DC Police Chief that buried the Seth Rich investigation. She associated with the Clinton camp (socially) and was on the DC Police Board with Heather Podesta.

Mpls. Security Company Fired From Super Bowl Job

A few months ago the stadium security company abruptly fired. Replaced by G4S** who is known for hiring “Crisis Actors” among other things and that decision was made by SMG who manages the stadium operations. Same company runs the arena where the Ariana Grande Bombing happened in England.

**Who else worked for G4S? Omar Mateen!
(both security firms fired for the same reason — “faulty background checks”)

Unlike most Super Bowl cities, including the last two games in the San Francisco Bay Area and Houston, U.S. Bank Stadium isn’t surrounded by surface parking. It’s tucked amid major arteries into and out of downtown Minneapolis, apartments and condominiums, parking ramps, restaurants and even a college. That means the NFL can’t simply “draw a perimeter” and secure an area around the building for a week.
One aspect that will be new is satellite security checkpoints, meaning visitors will go through security at a location away from the stadium and/or certain venues. Organizers didn’t want to release those details yet because of security concerns.

  2. But groups fully indoctrinated with a leftist message and a certainty of their moral status as victims easily could do this.

What I find interesting is the timing, the various left wing militias had stopped rioting and attacking people as the waited for the Mueller investigation to destroy President Trump. But as the Mueller investigation starts fizzling out and the evidence of massive left wing corruption in the upper layers of the DOJ and the Federal Law Enforcement becoming public they start a mass attack on random people in the middle of a massive cold spell. Think about it, how dedicated do you have to be to ride around in an area with high humidity in the current low temperatures? Riding around by itself calls for a degree of masochism but this drops to a level of commitment when you are doing this to attack people to try and terrorize them to support your coup. When warmer weather arrives we will see a lot more attacks like these and with an increasing level of violence and bigger weapons (not that clubs aren’t nasty enough).

  3. So they claim that Christians and Muslims worship the same God?

    Hmm..

Well, I’d say it’s pretty strange then that Muslims only go berserk when they see drawings/cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, and not Jesus and God.

But then again, if the bible and the Quran are pretty much identical, why don’t these schools just read from the bible when they’re trying to teach children about Islam, if it is like they say that it’s all the same?

    • Well, I’d say it’s pretty strange then that Muslims only go berserk when they see drawings/cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, and not Jesus and God.

      Triple touché!!!

      (And welcome aboard.)

      Please keep the ironicisms coming.
