  1. the gateway pundit – REPORT: FBI Director Wray Demanding ALL NAMES REDACTED From FISA Memo

Fox News contributor Sara A. Carter reports FBI Director Christopher Wray, along with the Justice Department, are pressuring the White House to redact all names in the FISA abuse memo prior to its release.

“BREAKING: @FBI Director Christopher Wray and DOJ wants all names redacted from #FISAMemo putting pressure on White House and House Intelligence Committee, Government officials say … is releasing names a threat to national security?” tweeted Carter.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported, Carter told Fox News host Sean Hannity Wednesday that there was a concerted effort by the intelligence community to block the release of the memo.

According to earlier reports, five FBI officials visited the White House this week and revised the House intelligence memo.

Sara Carter: It appears there is a concerted effort on the part of the FBI, members of the intelligence community and the Department of Justice to try to force the president to delay the release of the memo. And they’re doing this to buy time, according to sources that I’ve spoken with so that they can leak information to try to find a way to either discredit the memo or placate the members of the DOJ that don’t want to see this released.

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino pointed out that it is “Ironic that the FBI is battling to “mask” the names of government officials involved in the unmasking of Trump team officials in an illicit spying operation.”

CBS News contributor Fran Townsend reported Thursday that Wray has prepared a full rebuttal of the memo if released by the Trump administration.

“I think we have to remember the Nunes memo is an advocacy piece. It’s not a fact piece. This is Chairman Nunes’ summary of what he believes the abuses are. For that reason, it’s one-sided,” Townsend told CBS News.

    • The danger lies in the references and footnotes. It would force full disclosure of the underlying materials on which the Memo is founded.

    • the gateway pundit –White House Snubs Deep State – Says They Will Release Memo Without Redactions

But the Trump White House told reporters on Thursday the memo will be released without redactions.

      The Examiner reported:

President Trump is expected to approve the release of a classified memo spearheaded by the staff of House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes.

According to a Thursday afternoon pool report, a White House official confirmed upon arrival to West Virginia that the president “has read the memo.”

Trump will declassify the controversial four-page memo that reportedly details surveillance abuses by the Department of Justice and FBI, and send it back to House Intelligence for a Friday morning release.

“The president is OK with it,” a senior administration official told reporters. “I doubt there will be any redactions. It’s in Congress’ hands after that.”

  2. CNN – White House worried FBI director could quit over Nunes memo release

Washington (CNN)Top White House aides are worried FBI Director Christopher Wray could quit if the highly controversial Republican memo alleging the FBI abused its surveillance tools is released, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation tell CNN.

Wray has made clear he is frustrated that President Donald Trump picked him to lead the FBI after he fired FBI Director James Comey in May, yet his advice on the Nunes memo is being disregarded and cast as part of the purported partisan leadership of the FBI, according to a senior law enforcement official.
Wray’s stance is “raising hell,” one source familiar with the matter said.
Wray has not directly threatened to resign after clashing with Trump over the possible release of the memo, the source added, because that is not his style of dealing with conflict.[…]

    • All of the Dems have their underwear in a knot, this whole situation is a gigantic abuse of power. It is born out of hate for DJT and the fact that WE The People put him in office , instead of the DemocRAT and globalists choice HRC.

    • The left is circling the wagons to try and protect Obama. The crimes are horrible Third World actions that threaten the rule of law, the coverup is just as bad, it shows the left has no interest in anything besides personal political power. Political power they think makes them better then everyone else and above the law.

As Bongino says once the memo is released Obama only has two choices 1) I didn’t learn about this until I read it in the papers 2) Yeah we did it and will do it again, get use to these actions.

We can expect more lies and attempts to cover up the crimes with the left getting more and more desperate. We can also expect protests many of which will turn violent and in all probability this will touch off a low intensity civil war that will last many years as the left tries to use violence to silence its enemies.

      • The crimes are horrible Third World actions that threaten the rule of law, the coverup is just as bad, it shows the left has no interest in anything besides personal political power.

“Third World actions”? What an interesting notion, Richard. Let’s see … where was 0bama born? Where did he spend his first several years?

Why on earth would this poseur of a community organizer political dilettante stoop to such unambiguous Turd Third World machinations? After all, concepts like Rule of Law and genuine professional transparency carry such weighty significance in places like Kenya and Indonesia. Right???

Most surprising of all—insert hilarious laughter >here<—is that Hillary would attempt to tread with such unerring precision in 0bama's own agenda-based footsteps. No? Especially when it comes to presuming that high office magically confers some sort of [gasp!] political or legal immunity (astonishingly enough, very much like what happens so often in Kenya and Indonesia). Go figure…

It approaches the utmost height of irony that Trump continually is accused of being some sort of fascist dictator when 0bama and Hillary so capably managed to constitute an executive office and state department confabulation that mimicked many of this world’s most despotic hellholes.
