I don’t mean to get all excited but can you imagine the benefits we would all reap if the Iranians finally got it right and managed to install a halfway-modern government that wasn’t hell-bent on being everybody’s enemy? Imagine what they might say when they are not under threat of death for speaking their minds. Add this to the defeat of ISIS and the failure of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and the paradigm could very well be about to really change.

    I think we are seeing the slow-motion intro to the Trump Revolution which is going to cover the entire planet and change it completely in a matter of a few years. I think it is going to become increasingly unhip to be left wing and that conservative is about to become the new counterculture. I predict that a lot of guys with big beards who like to preach militant Jihad to Muslim boys are going to be finding out what happens in that little dimly-lit room in the basement of the old police department. I predict that 2018 is going to be one very interesting year; a year of great change…

  2. The IRGC guys are killing protestors in other towns, many wounded also.
    Protestors are calling for a national strike. It seems even bus drivers haven’t been paid for quite some time.

  3. New protests in Tehran after 10 killed in latest Iran unrest

    Tehran (AFP) – Fresh protests broke out as night fell in Tehran on Monday, local media reported, a day after 10 people were killed in violence across the country.

    The latest demonstrations came despite President Hassan Rouhani’s vow that the nation would deal with “rioters and lawbreakers”.

    US President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly criticised Tehran over four days of demonstrations, said it was “time for a change” and that the Iranian people were “hungry” for freedom.

    Restrictions remained on reporting inside Iran, but semi-official agencies described a heavy police presence on the streets of central Tehran as small groups of protesters were seen running and chanting anti-regime slogans.
