    • I don’t see this in the story, but the rumour is that they were attempting to fly to Turkey.

        • You may need a new prescription for your glasses, God knows I do but the VA won’t give me new glasses until July.

  1. The Basij militiaman, a paramilitary storm trooper of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, was reportedly swinging an electric shock baton when the crowd of angry protesters closed in around him.

“They got a Basij, hold him!” one man shouted as the demonstrators pulled away the militiaman’s baton and knocked him to the ground in the largely Kurdish city of Kermanshah.

But rather than beat the man to death, the crowd struck a different kind of blow against Iran’s authoritarian regime: they stripped him of his trousers and sent him stumbling and humiliated into the cold night.

In some ways, it is sad that most Western people will never understand how this Basij militiaman being sent back to his base without any pants could be more devastating than him having been KIA (Killed In Action).

Most Islamic “cultures” regard public humiliation as worse than death”.

Let’s all please hope that this is the case. Their’s was a wonderful message to send all other counter-civilian recruits.

  2. Not a link – just a reminder.

Was it not in February 2017 that Saudi Arabia and USA reached an agreement on a common strategy to deal with Iran?

    Hmmmmm…

    • With our soul, with our blood, we’ll sacrifice ourselves for you O Saddam.

      Uhhhh … Saddam’s fü¢kinq DEAD.

Just more meaningless and idiotic $h!t from people who may not have much in the way of any hope when it comes to overthrowing their Islamic overlords.

Feck knows that I wish all Muslims the opportunity to liquidate their clerical oppressors. All the same, until they start slaughtering jihadists, “scholars”, imams, along with their political, financial, and clerical tormentors, ALL MUSLIMS DESERVE NOT THE SLIGHTEST MERCY FROM WESTERN CIVILIZATION.

    • Trump is back at the White House. I’m certain he’s dealing with this. Interesting days ahead.

  3. Greece: Pakistani migrant kept 12yo Greek girl as sex slave in his house for three years

A 34-year-old Pakistani migrant was arrested for keeping a young girl captive in his house in the town of Menidi in Greece.

The child was kidnapped in 2013, at the age of twelve, when she was abandoned by her mother. According to Greek media the girl lived in a nightmare for three years. The migrant raped her on a daily basis and locked her up in his house.

In 2015 the girl became pregnant and gave birth to a child in October that year. She managed to escape in 2016 and found refuge in a women’s shelter.

After the girl told her story in the shelter, the man was finally arrested on 27 December last year, in the town of Karea. The Pakistani migrant is charged with kidnapping, seduction of a child under the age of fourteen, and assault.

And everyone wonders why so many people have such a low opinion of Muslims.

      Go figure…

  4. North Korea has spent the past year largely ignoring its southern neighbor, but in his New Year’s address Monday, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un said he’s “open to dialogue” with South Korea.

“When it comes to relations between the North and the South, we should lower the military tensions on the Korean Peninsula to create a peaceful environment,” the young despot said in his speech, adding, “Both the North and the South should make efforts.”

Note: NK being willing to negotiate…hmmmm, seems like the rumours that their whole nuclear program (including their nuclear scientists) were crushed by that mountain collapse a few months ago may be closer to true than we had hoped.

    • Note: NK being willing to negotiate…hmmmm, seems like the rumours that their whole nuclear program (including their nuclear scientists) were crushed by that mountain collapse a few months ago may be closer to true than we had hoped.

While I could not hope for more, global monitoring systems easily would have detected the radiological release from such a (thoroughly anticipated) geoseismic collapse.

All the same, even a smaller-scale disaster still would be pure gold for Western interests. Please try and imagine just how many top-level North Korean nuclear scientists would cheerfully march into those underground atomic research tunnels after such a catastrophic event.

Hey! Even just spurious rumors of such calamitous happenings will help spread FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) regarding the safety levels of North Korea’s all too crappy scientific facilities.

      What’s to lose?

    • It is more likely Kim is trying to buy time for some research or building program to be finished.

  6. Germany: Kandel commemorates 15-year-old girl killed by ex-boyfriend
