  1. Mass Migration: Uninvited Guests

In our desire to insure an inclusive, humane, and tolerant society, we seem to have constructed a simplistic and inadequate picture of refugees and illegal immigrants.

Perhaps the majority of Americans and Canadians do not approach the question of refugees and immigrants with an open mind, but with a set of “progressive” assumptions:

  2. Russia also selling oil to North Korea on the sly
    By Rick Moran

Reuters is reporting Western European security sources saying Russian vessels are selling oil products to North Korea via ship-to-ship transfers. The news comes after senior U.S. intelligence officials confirmed that Chinese ships are also selling oil in international waters to the Kim regime.

Both China and Russia are permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and voted to sanction North Korea by shutting off its access to oil.

  3. California city official is gunned down while vacationing in Mexico

An American tourist was shot and killed while apparently being robbed in a resort town on Mexico’s Pacific Coast that has become popular with surfers and Hollywood stars.

Douglas Bradley was killed Thursday in the hotel zone of Ixtapa. He was on Christmas vacation in neighboring Zihuatanejo and would have turned 50 the next day.

The city of Imperial Beach in San Diego County announced Bradley’s death on Friday. He was the city’s director of finance.

“Doug Bradley was loved by all that knew him,” said Imperial Beach Mayor Serge Dedina. “He was always positive, loved to surf, and had helped to turn around the City of Imperial Beach’s financial management as well as restructure city administration to make it more efficient and resident-friendly.”

Witnesses told local media they saw Bradley being chased by gunmen who shot him with a 9 mm handgun about 4 a.m., Mexico News Daily reported.

  4. Turkey launches probe into ‘veiling party’ at secondary school (RT, Dec 31, 2017)
    https://www.rt.com/news/414715-turkey-school-veiling-investigation/

“An inquiry has been launched against the management of a school in Turkey after revelations that a local teacher made girls wear headscarves. Photos of pupils attending ‘parties’ that promoted veiling emerged on social media.

Turkey’s education directorate in the south eastern Sanliurfa province launched the investigation into a local secondary school after it was revealed that a teacher of religious culture and moral education was organizing what was later described as “veiling parties.”

Photos of these events initially were posted on social media on December 29. The images showed girls, all wearing headscarves, holding heart-shaped small placards that promoted veiling and encouraged others to follow their example.

Some placards read: “I have veiled myself,”“Luckily I have veiled myself,”“Come on, you too veil yourself,”“From now on, I am veiled,” and “Thank God I am veiled.” Others said, “The Lord has given me an order” and “I am happy that I am veiled.” Some of the photos also show the girls wearing paper masks in addition to the veils…”

Do these brain-dead European morons honestly think that a single one of those FOUR BILLION EUROS will trickle down to the manual labor it is intended for?!?

Puhlease! The best that can be hoped for is a “Potemkin Village” of trash-picking or garbage sorting facilities that encourages these bleeding-heart European idiots dupes to squander even more gazillions of Euros on similarly corrupt and wholly dysfunctional programs. [Gah!]

  6. New research finds that kids aged 4-6 perform better during boring tasks when dressed as Batman

[…]Donning a cape and mask, the kids from the recent study were better at what psychologists call ‘self-distancing’. One reason the kids engaged in imaginary play had better focus might be that pretending to be another person allowed the greatest separation from the temptation. A second potential explanation is that the kids in costume identified with the powerful character traits of the superhero and wanted to imitate them. Whatever the cause, the superheroes showed more grit.

    • New research finds that kids aged 4-6 perform better during boring tasks when dressed as Batman

Even the girls?!? Hahahahahahah!!! Just kidding … NOT!

I can’t adequately express my astonishment at how kids might be gulled into thinking that they have enhanced (i.e., superpowers) merely by wearing a dime-store costume. After all, everyone knows that this study didn’t involve tailoring movie-grade outfits for a bunch of imbecilic pre-teens.

      Need more evidence?

From among the entire pantheon of early comic book “superheros”, Batman is one of the only characters that has NO “MAGICAL POWERS” (late-coming seconds would be Iron Man or Spiderman who need not apply).

Go that?!? No x-ray vision (as in, “Cape does not enable wearer to fly”), no, “Flame On!”, no “I’m going to turn BRIGHT GREEN and pick off your arms and legs like wings from a fly”, no impenetrable red, white, and blue shield, no “Spoooooon!” (extra points for anyone who gets this reference without searching on it), no “SHAZAM!”.

Instead, we’re supposed to believe that young Western children are so brain-deadstrike> brainwashed by modern media whereby they now consider themselves empowered by a Halloween costume.

Please give me a farking break!!!

If parental guidance and extraneous moral input is insufficient to empower children (especially young boys), then where in hell Western Civilization is headed, if not to the proverbial, “Hell in a handbasket”.

  7. Kim Jong-un uses New Year’s message to claim all of US now in range of nuclear missiles

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has used his New Year address to claim all of the USA is within range of his country’s nuclear missiles.

“The US cannot declare war against us. The entire US territories are within our firing range and the nuclear missile button is right there on my desk,” he said in a speech broadcast on state TV.

“We have secured powerful deterrence against the nuclear threat from the US,” he added.

Kim Jong-un says he has a ‘nuclear launch button’ on his desk in threat to America

KIM Jong-un has included some charming threat’s in his New Year’s speech, warning he has a “nuclear launch button on his desk”.

NORTH Korean leader Kim Jong-un claims to have a “nuclear launch button on his desk”.

During a televised New Year’s Day speech, the dictator said the US would never be able to start a war with the rogue nation after it had developed the ability to hit all of the American mainland with its nuclear weapons.

“The entire United States is within range of our nuclear weapons, and a nuclear button is always on my desk. This is reality, not a threat,” Kim said.

The speech is being watched closely, as Kim Jong-un followed up on promises he made during his 2017 New Year’s Day address, when he vowed to speed up the country’s nuclear weapons development.

Kim touted last year that North Korea had “entered the final stage of preparation” to test an intercontinental ballistic missile. North Korea’s 15 ballistic missile tests of 2017 focused on intermediate and long-range rockets.

Kim is also believed to have called for the mass-production of nuclear weapons and missiles and is “putting them into service”, according to South Korean news agency Yonhap.
