  1. France: The New Collaborators
And How to Protect France, Europe, the West

    by Giulio Meotti
    October 20, 2017 at 5:00 am

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/11153/france-new-collaborators

A few days ago Abdelkader Merah, the brother of the Islamic terrorist who gunned down four Jews in Toulouse in 2012, went on trial, charged with complicity in terrorism. “Beginning in 2012, we entered an age of terrorism, where before we believed ourselves protected; it was a turning point in French history”, said Mathieu Guidere, a professor of Islamic studies in Paris.

Since then, France has faced severe challenges by Islamic fundamentalists in Europe. French President Emmanuel Macron is now trying to manage a terrible situation: some 350 Islamic terrorists currently sit in prisons; 5,800 are under police surveillance; an additional 17,000 have been classified as a “potential threat”, while since 2015, more than 240 lives have been lost to jihadi terrorists.

It seems that France has decided to accept what it might see as unavoidable: the Islamic takeover of parts of the country. This view is reflected in the very idea of a “state of emergency”. France’s lower house of parliament just passed a new anti-terrorism law, taking measures which have been in place for two years under a previous “state of emergency” and enshrining them into law.

  2. A man has been cleared of raping his wife after a judge ruled that he did not know his behaviour was criminal in Canada.
Ontario Superior Court Justice Robert Smith said prosecutors had failed to establish that the man knew it was against the law to have sex with his wife without her consent.
Justice Smith explained: ‘I find that the accused probably had sex with his wife on many occasions without her specific consent, as both he and she believed that he had the right to do so.’

“Marriage is not a shield for sexual assault,” Smith wrote in his decision. “However, the issue in this trial is whether, considering the whole of the evidence, the Crown has proven the allegations beyond a reasonable doubt.”
The man’s defence lawyer, Sean May, said the timing of the charges — they came to light during a combative phase in the relationship — also raised doubt in the case.

Carrolyn Johnston, acting executive director of the Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women, called the ruling “disappointing.” She said it highlights persistent myths about sexual assault. “Any sexual contact without explicit and ongoing consent is sexual assault — regardless of the relationship,” Johnston said. “He may have believed that he had a right to have sex with her as her husband, but Canadian sexual assault law is clear and was amended to include sexual assault against a spouse in 1983.”
The Ottawa coalition, the Sexual Assault Network and the city’s rape crisis centres are now engaged in public education campaigns, she said, to ensure that consent laws are better understood.
The province’s revised sex education curriculum, introduced in 2005, teaches students about the importance of consent. Students are first introduced to the concept in Grade 7.

  3. FBI Says Black Identity Extremists Murder Cops FBI Says Black Identity Extremists Murder Cops

Black Identity Extremists are killing law enforcement officers and, according to a new report by the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division, there is a high likelihood they will continue to do so. And no one in the black community, liberal establishment, or media is condemning the violence against police. Where’s the outrage?

The FBI defines black identity extremists as:

“[I]ndividuals who seek, wholly or in part, through unlawful acts of force or violence, in response to perceived racism and injustice in American society and some do so in furtherance of establishing a separate black homeland or autonomous black social institutions, communities, or governing organizations within the United States.”

DeRay McKesson a leader in the Black Lives Matter movement (Words to Action) and self-described Black Identity Extremist, took the opportunity of the report’s release to attack the FBI by saying they surveilled black organizations in the past. He did not address the content of the report or condemn the violence by black extremists against law enforcement officers.

  4. the gateway pundit – Video=> Hillary Clinton on New Russian Uranium Deal Reports: Diversion by Trump and Fox News

Defeated 2016 Democratic Party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton spoke with C-SPAN’s BookTV program recently about her campaign memoir, What Happened. Promo clips are being posted by C-SPAN to YouTube including one where Clinton addresses new reports about the controversial Uranium One deal with the Russians approved by her when she was President Barack Obama’s first Secretary of State and while Russians were heavily donating to the Clinton Foundation and paid her husband, former President Bill Clinton, hundreds of thousands of dollars for a speaking engagement.

Clinton was interviewed by C-SPAN’s Sean Scully who asked her about Sean Hannity and President Donald Trump focusing on the Uranium One deal, but neglected to state their interest was the result of new reporting by John Solomon in the Hill and Sara Carter in Circa.

C-SPAN host Sean Scully: “As you know Sean Hannity on his program has been very critical of the Uranium One deal. The President saying, with regard to Russia, ‘that’s the real story in all of this.’ What would you say to those critics?”

Hillary Clinton: “I would say it’s the same baloney they’ve been peddling for years. And there’s been no, no credible evidence by anyone. In fact it’s been debunked repeatedly and will continue to be debunked. But here’s what they’re doing, and really I have to give them credit, you know Trump and his allies including Fox News are really experts at distraction and diversion. So the closer the investigation about real Russian ties between Trump associates and real Russians, as we heard Jeff Sessions finally admit to, uh, in his testimony the other day, the more they wanna just throw mud on the wall. And I’m their favorite target–and, you know, President Obama–we’re the ones that they always like to put in to the crosshairs. Uh, so, yes, I, I, I’m not surprised but I think the real story is how nervous they are about these continuing investigations.”

  5. TERROR WARNING: ISIS plotting POISON GAS attacks on public transport, experts fear (express, Oct 20, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/869159/Terror-attacks-ISIS-poison-gas-Berlin-planes-trains-subway

“ISLAMIC terrorists are plotting poison gas attacks on trains, subways and planes across Europe, it is claimed.

Security services are on high alert for an Islamic State biological weapon atrocity and warn the threat is continent-wide.

They fear deadly gas could be unleashed on public transport or in tourist hotspots like museums and galleries, German newspaper Die Welt reported.

According to the paper, spies have warned European security services of the growing potential for a chemical attack by crazed jihadis.

It is claimed the terrorists are seeking more reliable means of carrying out their barbaric acts following a string of massacres using vehicles and knives.

The claim comes after Australian police foiled an alleged plot to blow up a plane and target a public area using the toxic chemical hydrogen sulfide in July.

This week, Berlin police carried out their third drill of the year to simulate such an attack…”

“Security sources say at least 30 police officers killed in shoot-out with suspected militants in Giza, southwest Cairo.

According to news agencies, quoting security sources, the police officers were killed in a shoot-out on Friday during a raid on a suspected militant hideout in Egypt’s Western desert.

The sources said authorities were following a lead to an apartment thought to house eight suspected members of Hasm, a group which has claimed several attacks around the capital targeting judges and policemen since last year.

The exchange of gunfire took place on Friday in the al-Wahat al-Bahriya district in the Giza governorate, about 135 kilometers, from the Egyptian capital.

The number of dead was expected to rise, the sources said.

The suspected militants tried to flee after the exchange of fire there, the sources said, and continued to fire at a second security unit called in for backup from atop neighboring buildings.

The sources said the suspected militants also used explosive devices in the attack…”

  7. UK Crime surge makes London ‘even more dangerous than NEW YORK’, statistics reveal (express, Oct 20, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/869203/london-new-york-crime-met-police-scotland-yard-rape-robbery-gov-stats

“RISING crime rates across the UK have made London more dangerous than New York, Government statistics have revealed.

Figures released earlier this week uncovered the crisis facing British police forces as crime rates across the country surged by 13 per cent.

The last decade has seen London’s Metropolitan Police move away from neighbourhood patrols which criminal justice experts have blamed for the rise in crime.

The damning figures come amid increased pressure on the capital’s police force to save £400 million before 2020, with the number of officers expected to fall below 30,000 for the first time in more than a decade.

Last year there were almost 70,000 burglaries in Greater London, of which 43,000 happened in peoples’ homes.

The number of robberies has also heavily increased due to the rise in mobile phone theft.

According to the statistics London has almost three times the number of reported rapes than New York City.

Figures suggest the average person is almost six times more likely to be burgled in London than in New York, and one and a half times more likely to be the victim of a robbery.

Last week it emerged Scotland Yard wouldn’t investigate a large amount of low-level offences because of cost cuts…”

  8. VICE NEWS – This Trans Artist Collected 200 Gallons Of Urine To Protest Trump

On February 22nd, Donald Trump rescinded the rules of trans students that gave them the choice to choose the bathroom they chose based on the gender with which they identified. Cassils, a performance artist (who happens to be trans), went decided to make a statement with a durational act: as if to hold their piss, they collected their own urine for 200 days in order to finally place it all in one glass cube at the Ronald Feldman Gallery in NYC.

The process, which was at times awkward, was also precarious. After a couple of days the urine becomes a biohazard, so Cassils had to develop a plan to store the urine across multiple locations in Los Angeles in hopes that they could preserve it safely and ship it across country to New York.

There are many components to Cassils artist statement, one of them was the pseudoscience of alchemy:

“How do we take the seeds of things that we believe that are possible and beautiful about this culture reenact them in a time where they really feel like they’re slipping through the cracks? When we think of the idea of alchemy of turning what you have into gold on some level this is a way of looking at the dire political situation we’re in right now. And thinking about the possibility for transformation not just in terms of transformation as a trans person, but how do we take this dire situation we’ve been dealt and how do we turn it into something of worth again?”
