  1. Are the Danes waking up? Have they finally realized that there may be a Shawarma under every mattress? That the fight is a military task? Or are they simply supplementing the domestic police force without realizing the significance here? How much invasion (Europe) or official but sneaky sharia (Canada M-103) does it take to disrupt the Normalcy Bias of the average somnambulist smuck? How long until one-by-one every western country puts their militaries in the street? Can this action be used as a litmus to the level of cognizance in western countries? So they come for the Saturday people first and a while later the Danes act. Well, are they not coming for the Saturday people everywhere first? Or is putting out the military an admission of failure that the ruling class won’t admit to until matters become so dire and the foe so bold that the political cost to NOT militarized is greater? Or is it a more cynical attempt to normalize military occupation without defining the enemy so to keep the populace off balance? …Just something that makes me go hmmm…

    • It is probably a combination of all of the things you listed, with the left wanting to maintain their power and thus are unable to admit failure high on the list. In some of the nations you can add fear of the native population to the list. The closer the Europeans come to having an active violent revolution the more likely the government to put troops on the street.

      • The deployment of military units to replace normal police ranks is both a frank admission that current law enforcement is inadequate and a less obvious concession that the extravagant expense of this increased level of interdiction is preferable to the far less expensive alternative of simply halting all further immigration and risk being called [GASP!] “racist!”

Without an EU military that would be required in order to shift a given country’s troops to an entirely different locale, each European nation will eventually hit the brick wall of their domestic soldiers siding with the general population. At the very least, these units will be reluctant to fire upon their own nationals or run roughshod over their fellow citizens.

This is why the EU is so desperate for its own military. Without it, Europe will tend to Balkanize and Brussels will become famous for chocolate once again.

        • That is what is going to happen, antifa can field street rioters but won’t be able to replace the regular military and put down a major upraising of the Europeans.

When I was in the Army they told us to never give an order we didn’t have a reasonable expectation of being obeyed.the way things have been going in Europe expecting the troops to fire on their fellow citizens is probably asking way too much.

The EU waited 10 years too long to start the push for their own army.

The EU waited 10 years too long to start the push for their own army.

Thank effing goodness for that decade’s delay. It is just another example of EU shortsightedness that, might yet, save The Continent.

Another decade of neglect might see European military ranks infiltrated by Muslim recruits who could reverse this entire scenario. All of which points to a particularly uncomfortable need to accelerate the arrival of this “discontinuity” by several years as part of ensuring that European militaries remain populated by indigenous citizens who will not accept this existing mass-suicide and (still) have access to the arms necessary to prevent it.

  2. My teenager went to a Chekhov play with the class. Afterward his teacher raved that it “was a perfect example of postmodernism in theatre.” Chekhov?

What exactly is the lesson? Nefarious subversion of young minds as postmodernism is deployed in every other sphere? I will argue not. While the definition of who is a post modernist in literature is, surprise, subjective, one can be a conservative nationalist while being perceived as post modern (Joyce).

I argue that the creative impulse comes first. Innovation of design is the horse for the creative. The cart we tow as artists carries only the ephemeral baggage of our daily rote. If this be political commentary then so be it. The freedom granted by postmodern techniques, if such even exist, was creative oxygen.

This said, I don’t trust today’s teachers as far as I can throw them. Even if the creators of this literary movement were conservative nationalists by today’s standards, which is impossible to discern, the Left took it and ran. Given empirical evidence, the intent of subjecting students to “perfect ” examples of postmodernist literature must be met by earnest suspicion.

  4. Here’s the notorious hate ‘church’ that agrees with NFL players about kneeling for the anthem
    By J.E. Dyer September 29, 2017

Ordinarily I would bypass something like this, for one thing because Howard Portnoy does it better.

But this one is laugh-out-loud funny, and we could all use a laugh at this point. It’s Friday.

It looks like the NFL players kneeling for the national anthem to protest [fill in your problem of choice in America] have found a soulmate. NFL fans may be defecting in droves, and the league may be facing its toughest PR challenge to date, with the potential for its flagging advertising power to decline further. But there’s at least one stalwart ally in the players’ project of taking a knee against America’s national symbols.

The self-styled Westboro “Baptist” “Church,” for which the expression “scare quotes” could not be more exactly descriptive, has weighed in in solidarity with the NFL players.

  5. Daesh, al-Nusra Bear Heaviest Losses Over Last Few Months – Russian MoD (sputniknews, Sep 30, 2017)
    https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201709301057834282-daesh-nusra-russia-mod-losses/

“The Russian Defense Ministry reported Saturday that Daesh and al-Nusra have borne their heaviest losses over the last few months.

The recent Daesh attempts and al-Nusra Front terror groups, both outlawed in Russia, to launch an offensive in Syria’s western and eastern regions failed, while the organizations suffered the most significant losses within last several months, Russian Defense Ministry’s spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.

“The Islamic State and Jabhat Fatah al-Sham terror groups’ attempts to launch an offensive in western and eastern Syria, that took place within the last week, have failed. The militants’ attacks on the Syrian troops’ positions in the provinces of Idlib and Deir ez-Zor… were successfully neutralized due to support of the Russian Aerospace Forces, while the attackers were eliminated… The Islamic State and Jabhat Fatah al Shal terror groups suffered the most significant losses within the last several months,” Konashenkov said.

He pointed out that the Russian Aerospace Forces had inflicted significant damage to the terrorists’ combat potential.

The Russian Aerospace Forces conducted strikes in Syria on September 19-29, killing 2,359 Daesh militants and injuring 2,700 others, Konashenkov added.

“Russian Aerospace Forces’ accurate strikes, conducted from September 19 to September 29, killed 2,359 IS militants and injured nearly 2,700 others. They included 16 Daesh field commanders of different ranks and nearly 400 extremists from Russia and CIS [Commonwealth of Independent States] countries. A total of 67 terrorist strongholds, 27 tanks, 21 multiple rocket launchers, 149 high mobility vehicles loaded with DShK heavy machine guns, 17 vehicle-borne improvised explosive device and 51 ammunition depots were destroyed,” Konashenkov said…”

“While airstrikes by the US-led coalition in Syria have only resulted in terrorists seizing ever new chunks of Syrian territory, the Russian military operation, launched in 2016 , has led to a huge military shift turning the tables against the jihadists, an independent British journalist told Sputnik.

“Under the US [Daesh] flourished, and the Russian intervention pushed the terrorists back. We’ve seen huge military advances by the Syrian government forces. The world has seen that the US-led coalition is not an honest broker in international affairs, while Russia has assumed an honest stance in dealing with the situation,” Vanessa Beeley said…”

“Russia’s engagement in the Syrian conflict has been very important, including a number of major victories both on the battlefield and on the diplomatic front. At the same time, the US involvement has done more harm than good to the situation, Australian political analyst Tom Anderson told Radio Sputnik.

“The Russian air power involvement that began two years ago was critical in turning the tide and we’ve seen steady progress on all fronts, not just because of the air power, but also because of the diplomatic role; for example, the engagement of Russia with Turkey and the talks in Astana that did not include the Western powers. Those diplomatic moves are combined with the military efforts and they are extremely important,” said Tim Anderson, an academic expert in economics and international politics from the University of Sydney and author of the book “The dirty war in Syria.”…”

    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/pakistan-indian-fire-kills-villagers-soldier-kashmir-50195092

“Pakistan’s army says Indian troops with heavy weapons have targeted civilians from across the frontier in the disputed region of Kashmir, killing two villagers and a soldier.

The skirmishes came as Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and the country’s military leadership discussed ceasefire violations by India in Kashmir at a meeting of the National Security Committee in Islamabad.

On Saturday, a day after the attack, the army said in a statement that a soldier was killed and three others wounded while evacuating villagers.

It said Pakistani troops gave a “befitting response” to India after coming under attack.

There was no immediate reaction from India, but both sides often accuse each other of initiating fire in Kashmir, which is split between them. Both claim the Himalayan territory in its entirety.”

In a separate incident, Farhad said a civilian motorcycle hit a roadside bomb, killing one civilian and wounding another in the Shindand district.

In yet another report from northern Kapisa province, at least nine civilians were wounded when a bicycle bomb exploded in a bazaar, said Qais Qaderi, spokesman for the provincial governor. Two small children were among the wounded, including one who was in critical condition, he said.

  11. Egypt’s population stands at nearly 95 million (abcnews, Sep 30, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/egypts-population-stands-95-million-50195958

“Egypt said Saturday its population stands at nearly 95 million, in addition to an estimated 9.4 million who live abroad, according to the latest census figures.

The figures were announced during a televised ceremony in which the findings of the country’s latest census were read by Abu-Bakr el-Gindy, head of the state’s Statistics Bureau.

The figure for Egypt’s population — 94,798,827 million as of April — is an increase of 22 million since 2006, when the latest census was held. The country’s population stood at 38.3 million in 1986 and 59.3 million 10 years later.

El-Gindi said Egyptians aged between 15 and 34 accounted for 34.8 percent of the population.

Egypt’s capital, Cairo, and its twin province of Giza have a combined population of 18.1 million.

Egypt, the most populous Arab nation, has been struggling to check its population growth — about 2 million a year — to allow its ambitious economic reforms to make a difference to the country’s poor majority. The reforms, introduced gradually over the past three years, included the floatation of the currency, lifting state subsidies on fuel, raising utility charges and introducing a value added tax.

The economy, battered by years of turmoil following the 2011 uprising that toppled autocrat Hosni Mubarak, has started showing signs of recovery, although that has yet to impact on the daily grind most Egyptians endure to make ends meet in the face of 30 percent inflation.

In a report released this weekend, the central bank forecasts GDP growth of five percent in the current 2017-18 fiscal year, which began July 1. It says GDP growth was expected to reach 6.5 percent by the year 2020.

The report also put Egypt’s foreign debt at $79 billion by June this year, a jump of $23.2 billion over the figure 12 months earlier. The increase, the bank said, should give no reason for alarm.

“The foreign debt remains within safe boundaries as per international criteria,” it said.”

    • How does an arid region like Egypt feed 95 million people? Very soon, these over-breeding Arab nations are going to learn about “food security”. And it won’t be pretty.

    • Britain’s night of carnage: Two dead, 11 injured in five knife attacks in TWO HOURS (express, Sep 30, 2017)
      http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/860786/Manchester-stabbing-Birmingham-mosque-Sheffield-Bow-murder-police

“TWO men have died and 11 other people have been left injured in two hours of knife-wielding carnage on the streets of Britain.

Five stabbings have taken pace in Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham and London as violence raged cross the country in the early hours of this morning.

In Manchester, a 21-year-old was stabbed to death after a “shockingly violent” mass brawl broke out in one of the city’s nightclubs.

The man, who has not yet been named, was knifed in the neck and died from his injuries when a fight took place near Deansgate.

Another man was hit with glass, two women were knocked unconscious and a pair of police officers were attacked as the violence raged.

Police, who have arrested four people over the incident, say the fighting started in the Suburbia nightclub before spilling out into John Dalton Street in the early hours of this morning.

In a separate incident, another 21-year-old man was fatally stabbed during a fight in east London.

Murder detectives are probing the man’s death after being called to a brawl in Ropery Street, Bow, at around 2.30am this morning.

The stricken victim was found in nearby Eric Street suffering from stab wounds.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics from London’s Air Ambulance service before being rushed to a hospital, where he died at 4.52am.

And in Birmingham a teenage boy is fighting for life in hospital after he was stabbed outside a mosque.

The 14-year-old was attacked in the Small Heath area of the city just after 1am.

A police cordon has been set up near the religious building while forensics officers combed the scene for clues.

Detective Inspector Jim Colclough, from the complex crime investigation team at Bournville Lane police station, said: “An investigation is under way to identify those responsible.

“This is a tragic event which has left a young boy is in hospital fighting for his life.”

Meanwhile, in Sheffield, police are investigating two linked brawls in the heart of the city centre, which left five people injured.

Four people have been arrested – two in connection with attempted murder – after the fights, Yorkshire Police said.

The first fight was reported to police at about 4am and then, less than two hours later, officers received reports of another brawl in Cambridge Street, in which three people were stabbed and a man was smashed over the head with a bottle.

A police spokesman said: “Five people are confirmed as injured, with one person in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

“Four people have been arrested and are now in police custody.

“Of these four, two have been arrested in connection with attempted murder, and two in connection with public order offences.””

  13. OSCE: ‘The Threat of Terrorism Will Occupy Europe For Many, Many Years’ (breitbart, Sep 30, 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/09/30/osce-threat-terrorism-will-occupy-europe-many-many-years/

“The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the world-leading security organisation has warned the spectre of terrorism will continue to haunt Europe for many years to come against an increase in radicalisation in European nations.

Speaking with Austrian foreign minister at the Vienna launch of the new OCSE report Friday, academic Peter Neumann said the threat of terror “will continue to occupy us for many, many years,” as he warned of the enduring danger of hardened militants returning to Europe from the Islamic State.

Stating the trend for the coming years suggested more low-tech, easy to execute but difficult to stop attacks, Neumann said while defeating the Islamic State was an important goal it wouldn’t immediately solve the security situation as other groups would rise to take its place…”

    • The Threat of Terrorism Will Occupy Europe For Many, Many Years

Only if they fail to deport the Muslims. A huge part of the problem would be solved by immediate deportation of all foreign nationals that commit even minor crimes.

      • That would solve part of the problem but the Moslems have been in Europe long enough that there are adult ethnic Arabs, Turks etc. that have birthright citizenship. This is going to get nasty.

        • That would solve part of the problem but the Moslems have been in Europe long enough that there are adult ethnic Arabs, Turks etc. that have birthright citizenship.

I seem to recall that treason usually has been reason enough to revoke citizenship for even those with birthright status.

If not, it’s long overdue to innovate some legislation that makes it possible—even retroactively—to expel those whose declared convictions, religious or otherwise, prohibit any avowed oath with respect to protecting an adopted nation’s Constitution (or founding documents) against sedition or subversion.

This is going to get nasty.

Too right! Nastier than what is well beyond the imaginative capacity of even those who have the most to lose. This is what continues to be so dumbfounding.

There is no other way to explain Angela Merkel’s reelection. Not even the complaisant acceptance by Japan’s WWII citizenry of that nation’s violent Imperialistic agenda remotely approximates the placid assent being given to this, now supremely evident, effort towards eradicating Germany’s entire cultural history.

I can only suppose that this is where it gets dicey. Too many modern Germans remain so cripplingly guilt-stricken about Nazism to realize that Muslims—with their own blood-soaked (and much longer) history of genocide and slaughter—represent an Islamic threat to Teutonic culture whose evil and corruption makes even a demonic murderer like Hitler recede into second-rate status.

This is in no way meant to diminish the Third Reich’s insanely abhorrent, industrialized, and unforgivable mechanized slaughter of innocent life. Yet, it is incumbent upon modern native Germans to begin understanding that their own historical track record of brutality cannot possibly near or remotely transcend the staggeringly barbaric aspect of Islam’s routine approach to annihilating countless ancient (much less modern) civilizations.

It is this lack of moralistic relativism (a favorite Liberal tool), or just ethical perspective, which is hobbling, not just Germany, but nearly all of Europe’s ability to reject the supreme evil of Islam.

There is an ultimate irony in how this inability to reject such undiluted evil will result in its continued spread across what were once many of the world’s most civilized societies.

The undeniable need to exterminate this insane Theocratic cancer will end up justifying some of the most horrific slaughter and destruction imaginable. All courtesy of the EU, Soviet-era “demoralization”, Cultural Marxism, Alinskyite programming, Gramscianism, along with whatever other miscellaneous camp followers have propelled this physical and intellectual incinerator.

  16. OKLAHOMA – Beheading suspect Alton Nolen found guilty on all counts, including first-degree murder

NORMAN, Okla. – A jury of 12 has found a defendant on trial for a horrific workplace attack guilty of all charges, including first degree murder.

Alton Nolen was convicted Friday for beheading his coworker Colleen Hufford and stabbing another coworker Traci Johnson inside Vaughan Foods in September 2014.

Nolen justified his actions in a taped interview with investigators by claiming he felt “oppressed” at work and his actions were correct under the Quran.

State prosecutors presented more than 20 witnesses including Johnson in the three week trial, plus three rebuttal witnesses refuting claims by the defense that Nolen was mentally insane.

The jury took two hours to make their decision Friday.

“Justice for Colleen, that’s all we wanted,” said Cleveland County DA Greg Mashburn. “Certainly, I was glad that they were able to see that quickly and come back with a verdict.”

Nolen’s team of attorneys, including Shea Smith and Mitch Solomon, spent three days questioning mental health and religion experts on the stand. They testified Nolen did not have a firm grasp of Islam and was suffering from Schizophrenia.

During closing arguments Friday, assistant District Attorney Susan Caswell honed in one major discrepancy revealed during this trial. A 2015 report from a psychologist who testified for the defense for this trial read she did not initially diagnosis Nolen with a mental illness.

“Psychosis doesn’t ‘pop up’ when it’s convenient,” Caswell said Friday. “That’s not how mental illnesses work.”

When asked for a comment from Nolen’s attorneys after the verdict, Solomon told News 4 it was “inappropriate” to make a comment at this time.

With this guilty verdict, the trial now moves into Phase II which will determine sentencing. The state is pursuing the death penalty.

“The Turkish government has opened a military training base, its largest in Africa, in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.

The Turkish chief of staff Gen. Hulusi Akar and Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire inaugurated the newly-constructed facility on Saturday.

Khaire thanked Turkey for “unwavering” support to help Somalia rebuild its fractured army and stabilize the war-torn country.

Two hundred Turkish military officers will train 10,000 Somali soldiers at the base which includes army dormitories, training grounds and prisons.

Somalia’s army, including former militia, is struggling to battle the Islamic extremist al-Shabab insurgents who are fighting to establish an Islamic state under strict Shariah law.
