  1. The European capital where there are more Muslim than Catholic children in state primary schools (yahoo, Sep 27, 2017)
    https://uk.news.yahoo.com/muslim-catholic-children-viennas-state-primary-schools-102432801.html

“After the bombshell election result in Germany that saw a far-right party enter parliament for the first time in 60 years, the next European country to go to the polls is neighbouring Austria.

And one of the main issues that propelled the AfD to 94 seats in the federal parliament with 12.6 per cent of the vote is also very much at the heart of the election next door.

Islam is the fastest growing religion in Catholic-majority Austria with 700,000 Muslims now living in the country – twice as many as in 2001. In the capital Vienna, there are now more Muslim than Catholic children in state primary schools.

But many Muslims believe they are being increasingly discriminated against amid a backdrop of growing Islamophobia in the run-up to voting day on 15 October.

In a recent survey, almost a third of Austrians said that they would not like to live next to a Muslim.

The far right is set to make significant gains at the polls, as parties harness growing anti-Islam sentiment in their campaigns – including those that are more traditionally centrist.

The conservative People’s Party (OeVP) is currently topping the opinion polls as the country prepares to vote.

Even this traditionally centre-right party, which governed in coalition with the left-wing Social Democrats (SPO) from 2007-2017, is taking a hard line on immigration and the Muslim community.

Sebastian Kurz, the party’s popular new leader, is campaigning to slash benefits for migrants and shut down Muslim nurseries.

‘We don’t need them. There should be no Islamic kindergartens,’ Mr Kurz said earlier this summer.

His campaign website states the institutions ‘linguistically and culturally isolate children from the majority society and are an obstacle to them in the further course of life.’

He was also an instrumental force in bringing in the ban on burqas and niqabs in Austria, which will come into effect in October this year.

His party’s popularity has leapt under his leadership, spiking from 20-25% to a high of 35%.”

    • Iraq: Iraqi parliament votes to deploy troops to Kirkuk as tensions over Kurdish referendum escalate

The Iraqi Council of Representatives gave Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi mandate to deploy troops to the contested city of Kirkuk, in a parliamentary session in Baghdad, on Wednesday, in response to the Kurdish independence referendum held on 25 September.

    • It’s true!
The leftist Israeli media painted the scariest picture, but then some blogs started investigating. Amazed and impressed.

  2. Austria becomes latest European country to ban burqas — but adds clown face paint, too (usatoday, Sep 27, 2017)
    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2017/09/27/austria-becomes-latest-european-country-ban-burqas-but-adds-clown-face-paint-too/699273001/

“Austria on Sunday becomes the fifth European country to ban wearing full face veils such as the burqa and niqab in public, a move prompted by the recent wave of migrants from Muslim countries seeking asylum.

The prohibition will also apply to scarves, masks and clown paint that cover faces to avoid discriminating against Muslim dress.

The Anti-Face-Veiling Act applies to anyone in public places and buildings, including schools, shopping malls and public transportation.

Other measures aimed at refugees to promote integrating them into Austria include compulsory courses to learn German and the country’s values.

Although there are no reliable numbers, the ban is likely to affect only a few hundred Muslim women in the country who now cover their faces. Also affected are some of the estimated 70,000 Arab tourists who visit Austria’s popular Zell Am See ski area every year.

The new law has angered Muslim groups. The Islamic Religious Authority of Austria calls it an infringement on privacy, religious freedom and freedom of opinion.

Austria’s burqa ban “is a clear discrimination of Muslim women, who once again become victims of a policy of coercion,” said Yeliz Dagdevir, 36, a Muslim psychologist in Lustenau who does not wear a veil. “Muslims are obviously still not a part of this country,” she added.

People who obscure their face in public can be fined $175. Similar laws are in force or about to go into effect in Belgium, Bulgaria, France and Switzerland. Germany has a partial ban on face coverings that applies only when driving.

Austria’s parliament approved the law in May after politicians, including Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz — a front-runner to become chancellor in the Oct. 15 parliamentary election — argued that veils hinder Muslim women from integrating into Austria’s predominantly Catholic society.

The burqa is “not a religious symbol but a symbol for a counter-society,” Kurz told Austrian broadcaster ORF in August.

“We want to be able to look into people’s faces in our society,” added Heinz-Christian Strache, chairman of the right-wing Freedom Party of Austria, at an August news conference:

Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen has criticized the law. “It is every woman’s right to always dress how she wants,” he recently told a group of students.

Islam is the second most widely practiced religion in Austria, with 7% of its 9 million people practicing it. France has the largest Muslim population in Europe, estimated at about 6 million.

“I am supporting the new law because women become invisible in public with full face veils,” said Erika Reisinger, 64, a commercial clerk in Krems.

Rachid Nekkaz, French-Algerian businessman and political activist, has pledged to pay all fines imposed on women wearing full face veils in Austria. He has spent $350,000 covering similar fines in Belgium and France, Nekkaz told Austrian broadcaster Servus TV.”

    • Austria’s burqa ban “is a clear discrimination of Muslim women, who once again become victims of a policy of coercion,” said Yeliz Dagdevir, 36, a Muslim psychologist in Lustenau who does not wear a veil. “Muslims are obviously still not a part of this country,” she added.

“Muslim women, who once again become victims of a policy of coercion…”?

Oh, spare me. As if the vast majority of Muslim women aren’t already victims of intensely misogynistic Islamic coercion? FGM anyone? Any Western “coercion” pales by comparison. Sebastian Kurz has it right:

The burqa is “not a religious symbol but a symbol for a counter-society,” Kurz told Austrian broadcaster ORF in August.

The more often this is repeated, the better off Europe will be.

All forms of Islamic coverings for women are a political statement. Just as all Islamic doctrine is intrinsically political in nature.

  3. Saudi Arabia urged to ditch ‘male guardianship’ law after lifting ban on female drivers (telegraph, Sep 27, 2017)

    • Human rights groups and women’s activists in Saudi Arabia have called on the country’s government to scrap a controversial male guardianship law following the announcement that it would lift a ban on female drivers…

It sounds like the Saudi people have finally decided that they don’t really want to get nuked back to the stone age—even if that’s only a proverbial stone’s throw (so to speak) from where they are today. Women driving cars? [GASP!] Modifying their anti-Western textbooks [SHRIEK!] Un-escorted women in public? [DEAD FAINT]

Somewhere in this sandy woodpile there seems to be a lessening of influence (or political power) by the Wahhabis.

Perhaps the Magic Kingdom’s royals have decided that the vast majority of Muslims might begin to feel slightly foolish when bowing down, five times a day, to a plain of hot smoking glass.

Now, if only Iran could be persuaded that all of these same rich rewards (i.e., sheer survival) could be theirs if they only managed to abandon their obsession with acquiring nuclear weapons.

  4. Taliban claims it targeted US defense chief’s plane in attack on Kabul airport (abcnews, Sep 27, 2017)

“The Taliban and ISIS are both taking credit for a rocket attack on Kabul airport early Wednesday just hours after U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis landed in Afghanistan for a surprise visit.

A barrage of up to 40 rounds of munitions hit the airport, including 29 rocket-propelled grenades, according to a U.S. military official.

Mattis had left the airport hours before the attack took place. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, who was in Afghanistan with the U.S. defense chief, was similarly out of harm’s way when the rockets hit…”

“The head of the U.N.’s migration agency is warning of increasing reports of sexual violence directed at Rohingya Muslims who have been fleeing violence in Myanmar in recent weeks.

    • UN agency: More reports of sexual violence against Rohingya

And, after endless rapes, schoolgirl abductions, and the interminable Muslim grooming and sexual abuse of children around the entire world, we are supposed to be outraged by this minor crap in Myanmar?

Just take a minute to examine the regular assaults against non-Muslims in Bangladesh—where so many of the Rohingya are fleeing to—and then get back to me about why the indigenous Myanmarese should not flush out this batch of Islamic scum.

Live by sexual violence, get more of the same right back. The entire Rohingya plight is an Islamic passion play of victimhood to the Nth degree.

      • And I think it’s a total crock.
Buddhists tend to be finicky about that sort of thing.
Kind of like Israelis. (Who happen to be providing them with the equipment they need right now.)

  6. Myanmar says 163 killed in Rohingya attacks in past year (abcnews, Sep 27, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/myanmar-163-killed-rohingya-attacks-past-year-50122071

“At least 163 people have been killed and 91 others have gone missing over the past year in attacks carried out by Rohingya Muslim militants in Myanmar’s restive Rakhine state, Myanmar government officials said.

The comments Tuesday came after the bodies of at least 45 Hindus were discovered in three mass graves earlier in the week. The government blames Muslim insurgents for the killings, although they denied responsibility in a statement Wednesday.

The government’s Information Committee released a statement on its Facebook page saying that from October 2016 to August 2017, at least 79 people were killed in the attacks and 37 have gone missing, including local officials, public servants and security forces. Another 84 were killed and 54 have gone missing since Aug. 25, when the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army, or ARSA, launched attacks on at least 30 police outposts.

The government had previously said that nearly 400 alleged insurgents had been killed since Aug. 25.

On Monday, Myanmar officials said they had discovered at least 45 slain Hindus in three mass graves in conflict-torn northern Rakhine state. Twenty-eight were uncovered from two mass graves on Sunday and 17 were discovered in a different mass grave in the same area on Monday.

Local authorities said the 45 bodies were among about 100 Hindus missing since ARSA carried out the simultaneous attacks on the police outposts.

“We are still searching for more mass graves in that same area,” said Maj. Zayar Nyein of Border Guard Police Headquarters in Maungdaw. “I don’t know exactly why these terrorists killed that many people. The Hindu village was very much up north and communication was not that good, and that’s why security forces were not able to reach out to the area sooner.”

ARSA issued a statement Wednesday on Twitter denying it had abused civilians in the villages where the bodies were found. It said it has sympathy for the victims of war crimes and other atrocities committed in the fighting, and would investigate any such crimes committed by Myanmar authorities.

There was no way to immediately verify either the government or ARSA accounts…”

    • Myanmar says 163 killed in Rohingya attacks in past year

Get crucial! That’s a body count of less than one person every 48 hours. Muslim jihadists launch regular GLOBAL attacks that kill numerous people every day. Pretending that the Rohingya crisis eclipses worldwide Islamic terrorism against non-Muslims is the very worst sort of misdirection.

In case it is not entirely clear, fü¢k Islam and fü¢k their whiny-@ss Rohingyas, along with a hilarious fü¢k-you to all the of world’s Muslim populations who are flaunting the sores of these propped-up pseudo-victims as part of their usual, unending squeals of victimhood.

Prediction: Myanmar’s GDP and tourism revenue will increase after this purge of Islamic scum. You read it here first.

  7. Syria troops close to surrounding IS in eastern city (abcnews, Sep 27, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/russia-airstrike-kills-al-qaida-branch-warlords-50121870

“Russian-backed Syrian government forces have all but encircled Islamic State militants in the eastern city of Deir el-Zour, a group that monitors the war said Wednesday.

The state-run news agency SANA said pro-government forces are battling the militants in the village of al-Husseiniyeh on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, across from the remaining militant-held pockets in the city. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said retaking al-Husseiniyeh would leave the militants fully surrounded.

Syrian forces have advanced since early September on Deir el-Zour, breaking an IS siege on government-held parts of the city. U.S.-backed Syrian forces are battling the militants on the eastern side of the river in a separate offensive.

The race for control of territory and resources in the oil-rich province that borders Iraq has caused friction between the two sides. The U.S-backed fighters say government forces and Russian warplanes have attacked them. Russia warned it would retaliate after it said Syrian government troops came under fire from the U.S-backed forces.

Russia and the United States say they are working out a mechanism to avoid friction in the common fight against Islamic State militants…”

  8. 70 Per Cent of Italians Say Country Has Too Many Migrants, Want ‘Strong Leader to Defend People’ (breitbart, Sep 27. 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/09/27/70-per-cent-italians-say-country-many-migrants/

“Seven out of 10 Italians believe there are too many migrants in their country, and some 67 per cent think “a strong leader is needed to defend the people”, according to a new poll.

The research was carried out by the Jewish Contemporary Documentation Centre (CDEC) in Milan in collaboration with well-known polling agency IPSOS, reports the ANSA news service.

A surprising 43 per cent also believe migrants are “stealing” jobs from Italian locals — perhaps referring to legal migrants from elsewhere in the European Union rather than illegal migrants from North Africa and the Middle East, who tend not to find work even in the comparatively healthy economies of Northern Europe.

For example, fewer than 500 of the 163,000 migrants who lodged asylum claims in Sweden in 2015 were reported as having found employment as of June 2016, and the German stock market’s top 30 firms only had only found positions for just 54 migrants — in a workforce with a combined strength of four million…”

  9. Libya threatens to seize NGO migrant rescue boats

Libya’s navy warned it will seize activists’ boats on migrant rescue missions that enter its waters unauthorised, after a run-in Wednesday with a German vessel during which a warning shot was fired.

“This time we avoided an escalation. In future, we will seize the boats of NGOs that do not respect Libya’s sovereignty,” said navy spokesman General Ayub Kacem.

The Libyan coastguard earlier boarded a boat operated by Germany’s “Mission Lifeline” which had picked up 52 migrants at sea. “You are not welcome here,” a coastguard official said in a videotape posted on the internet by the NGO.

“They threatened us by telling us to hand over the people, which we refused,” said the group’s head Axel Steier, contacted by AFP.

“It was a real act of piracy because they boarded our boat without any authorisation,” he said.

Kacem said the boat had tried to flee with a coastguard official still on boat. “Our patrol fired in the air to force the NGO boat to stop,” the general said.

“These NGOs must respect our authority and our sovereignty. Our patience has reached its limit,” he added.

In August, the navy ordered foreign vessels to stay out of a coastal “search and rescue zone” for migrants headed for Europe, a measure it said targeted NGOs.

Six years since a revolution that toppled longtime dictator Moamer Kadhafi, Libya has become a key departure point for migrants risking their lives to cross the Mediterranean to Europe.

Tens of thousands of migrants have resorted to paying people traffickers for the journey, often on overcrowded and unseaworthy boats.

Charities have dispatched boats to rescue migrants from drowning, while Libya and Italy — where the vast majority land — have worked together to stem the flow.

  10. Voting machine concerns have states eyeing return to paper ballots

  11. Communist West Point Graduate Called Mattis An ‘Evil, Vile F***’

Communist West Point graduate 2nd. Lt. Spenser Rapone called Secretary of Defense James Mattis the most “evil, vile f***” in the entire Trump administration.

After reports emerged tying Rapone to the Twitter account @punkproletarian on Monday, West Point issued a statement distancing itself from Rapone’s tweets, which included calling for political violence against the right, referring to Trump as a fascist, and openly promoting communism while in uniform. West Point also noted that Rapone’s chain of command had opened an investigation.

But one of the tweets which has so far escaped attention is Rapone denigrating Mattis in the most vulgar of terms.

In a tweet dated June 8, 2017, Rapone tweeted at a podcaster, stating: “Was so pumped for you to go in on Mattis on the latest ep. Definitely the most vile, evil fuck in the current administration.”

  12. Richard: This may be why China has been pushing Kim to threaten us, given the current world situation we would give them our ok to take over North Korea. This would shift the balance of power and kick China up above Islam and Russia as threats to the US.

China May Take Over North Korea, Russia as Greatest Threat to U.S., Top General Warns

China is set to become the next greatest national security threat to the U.S., according to this country’s highest-ranking general.

At his hearing Tuesday for reappointment to chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine General Joseph Dunford told the Senate Armed Services Committee that China would surpass North Korea and Russia as the leading challenge to U.S. national security in less than a decade. He said that North Korea had already surpassed Russia and China “in terms of the sense of urgency” since his 2015 assessment but that China would soon take over due to “demographics and the economic situation.”

  15. WOW! IRS Believes Mueller Investigation is Out of Control – They Refused to Participate in Manafort Raid

The Mueller investigation is so out of control that the IRS clashed with the Special Counsel’s team all summer over the broad scope and the Manafort raid according to a new report by CNN.

The IRS is now sharing information with Mueller’s team about Trump campaign associates. Mueller’s team is looking at everything tax related which includes real estate and banking. The IRS is concerned because Mueller is going back 11 years in his search. ELEVEN YEARS.

After being at odds for months, the two camps came to an agreement after consultation from officials at the Treasury Department.

Washington (CNN)The IRS is now sharing information with special counsel Robert Mueller about key Trump campaign officials, after the two entities clashed this summer over both the scope of the investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election and a raid on former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s home, people briefed on the matter tell CNN.
Part of the concern centered on the far-reaching and broad requests from Mueller’s team. In the case of Manafort, Mueller’s investigators are reaching back 11 years as they investigate possible tax and financial crimes, according to search warrant documents. Mueller is bound by a written order issued by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in May which allows the special counsel to investigate “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.”
After several months of being at odds, one source said, the IRS Criminal Investigation division is now sharing information about campaign associates, including Manafort and former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn. The sharing happened after the two camps reached an agreement following consultation with officials at the Treasury Department.

    • This investigation is a witch hunt that makes Stalin’s show trails look fair, the investigation is staffed with partisan Democrats who (from their actions) don’t care about the rule of law. They are out to punish and destroy Donald Trump because he won the 2016 election which derailed their plan to take us full communist while Hillary was in office.

As their actions become more and more frenzied their Storm Troopers (Antifa, BLM, BAMN and others) will become more active and will raise the level of violence to include permanently crippling and killing people who oppose their political goals.

This attempted coup is being played out against the backdrop of a nuclear armed North Korea and the possibility that China is going to move into North Korea and not move out. Iran building their own nuclear weapons (they probably already have several and are busy building more. Remember they gave Kim money and Kim would sell anything to anyone.) and missiles that threaten all of Europe. For freedom to survive we must resist the coup in the US and we must help our friends in other countries to regain control of their nations.

  16. Special Counsel Mueller Uncovered a Long List of Obama Administration Crimes – Will He Investigate?

Yesterday on The Rush Limbaugh Show, Rush shared post by the Gateway Pundit headlined: “Mueller Investigation Desperate As More Information About Obama’s Illegal Spying Is Uncovered.”

According to Rush, the reason the Mueller investigation keeps hiring people is because they can’t find a crime.

As Rush explained, there wasn’t a Trump crime that got the special counsel going, and yet the special counsel regulation, specifies that the Attorney General or Acting Attorney General has to have an underlying crime for which a special counsel is to pursue.

Mueller’s investigation is based on a lie and Obama used the same lie to get Trump investigated.

The young girl had been lured to the man’s home in the Paris suburb of Montmagny in April this year, where he sexually assaulted her.

However, prosecutors said they could not justify charging the man with rape as there was no ‘violence, constraint, threat or surprise’.”

The girl told police that she met him two months before through an Internet chat room and that she had sex with him that night in her bedroom and once before, prosecutors said.

Before Thompson sentenced Chacon-Bonilla, he said Chacon-Bonilla’s conduct was “unacceptable” and that he had “taken advantage” of the girl but that it was important to note that he was in the girl’s home at her invitation.

In explaining the terms of the sentence, he remarked that the case dealt with the “age-old problem . . . of how to deal with pubescent and even pre-pubescent women and older men.”

“I don’t think [the victim] is free of fault,” the judge said. “I think the old adage that it takes two to tango is true here.””

Their ignorance gets greater every day.
        Thank heavens these Sharia-times

It wasn’t me who found her so appealing
        She mesmerised by memesmerised

        Thank Heavens for little girls

  20. Sweden Facing New Challenges as Acid Throwing Plague Reaches Scandinavia (sputniknews, Sep 27, 2017)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/201709271057742681-scandinavia-acid-attacks/

“The UK has recently achieved the dubious honor of becoming the “world capital of acid attacks,” which have more than tripled in six years. Now, this deadly trend appears to have reached Scandinavia, as two people were attacked with a caustic liquid in Greater Stockholm earlier this week.

Two people were taken to hospital in Upplands Väsby north of Stockholm after being attacked with some sort of caustic liquid. The offender is believed to have escaped in a car after spilling the noxious liquid into his victim’s faces.

“A person, a man, left the scene in a car and is currently wanted by the authorities,” Anna Westberg of the Stockholm Police told the Swedish newspaper Expressen.

While the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reported the liquid to be ammonia, the police have not commented on the incident.

“I cannot say exactly what kind of liquid it was,” Anna Westberg told Expressen.

According to Westberg, those involved appeared to have known each other in some way. The two victims were taken to hospital, with no clear report of how much damage the attack inflicted upon them. Later, they will be interrogated by the police to shed more light on the event, which was classified as “gross abuse.”

Acid attacks are notoriously difficult for the police to prevent, as offenders have little trouble in procuring the substances needed.

Earlier this year, a 33-year-old man from Linköping was suspected of threatening his former wife with spraying acid into her face, the Swedish daily Göteborgs-Posten reported.

Although acid attacks in Scandinavia have not as prevalent as in Great Britain, there has been a number of high-profile cases. Iranian-born Maria Rashidi, the founder and the chairperson of the Swedish NGO Kvinnors Rätt (Women’s Rights) is arguably the best-known one. Rashidi had her face severely disfigured in a sulfuric acid attack by her former husband, who subsequently fled back to Iran. After over 90 restorative surgeries, Maria is still left with poor eyesight and needs help getting around.

“I absolutely do not want to be considered a victim. Instead, I wanted to use this awful event to do something good and positive. I wanted to turn my experience into strength,” Maria Rashidi explained to Finnish national broadcaster Yle.

In Sweden, Rashidi is a well-known debater on honor-related violence and women’s rights. She has been a vocal critic of how Sweden’s first overtly feminist government handles issues such as gender equality and the flip side of the cultural and religious diversity. Among other things, Rashidi suggested that cultural traditions mixing badly with Sweden’s gender equality goals prevail in the suburbs with a predominant migrant population.”

  21. EU announces plan to take another 50,000 migrants from Africa and create new ways for them to safely reach Europe (dailymail, Sep 27, 2017)
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4925202/EU-announces-plan-50-000-migrants.html

“The EU has announced it is working on a new plan to take in 50,000 refugees from Africa.
The European Commission says it has set aside 500million euros to find homes for refugees mostly from Libya, Egypt, Niger, Sudan, Chad and Ethiopia.

It also wants to encourage private sponsorship schemes to help migrants avoid people smugglers and come to Europe legally.

The EU Commission said it ‘is recommending to bring at least 50,000 of the most vulnerable persons in need of international protection to Europe over the next two years.’

It added: ‘This is part of the Commission’s efforts to for those who risk their lives at the hands of criminal smuggling networks.

‘The new scheme will be in place until October 2019 and will build on the current successful resettlement schemes which are now coming to an end.’

A two-year programme which finishes on Wednesday relocated 29,000 asylum seekers out of a planned 160,000 as nations such as Hungary and Slovakia refused to co-operate. Britain is not involved in the scheme.

Commission Vice-President Federica Mogherini said the policy ‘is about managing one of the most complex, structural phenomena of our times, not a temporary emergency. ‘

The EU said it would simultaneously increase efforts to send illegal migrants who are not granted asylum home.

The Commission said: ‘The efforts will be significantly reinforced within the European Border and Coast Guard to ensure the Agency can implement a truly proactive return management approach and drive and coordinate the EU-wide management of returns.’

The move is part of the EU’s effort to cope with hundreds of thousands of refugees and unauthorized migrants who have tried to enter Europe in recent years.

Earlier this month the EU’s highest court upheld Brussels’ right to force member states to take in asylum seekers, dismissing complaints by Slovakia and Hungary about EU migration policy.

“German Chancellor Angela Merkel hailed French President Emmanuel Macron’s speech on EU reforms as substantive and passionate, but said it was “too early” to judge the viability of his proposals on closer EU economic and military integration.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron’s speech on European Union reform, which contained “a lot of material” for necessary debate on the issue, her spokesman said.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday welcomed the “European passion” in French President Emmanuel Macron’s ambitious EU reforms speech but said it was too soon to judge his concrete proposals.

Her spokesman Steffen Seibert said Merkel, who won a fourth term in weekend elections, looked forward to discussing ways to improve the workings of the bloc with Macron and other EU partners.

“The chancellor welcomes the fact that the French president spoke with so much verve, with so much European passion, and that he presented a lot of substance for the upcoming and essential debate about the future of Europe,” Seibert said.

“Rabat’s Higher Institute of Information and Communication (ISIC) hosted a workshop for local journalists on Tuesday addressing stereotypes about refugees and migrants in the Moroccan press.

Calaveri also underlined the need for accurate and fair representation. “The Moroccan media has to showcase positive images about the refugees in order to fight against the fake news, which seek to tarnish the image of refugees in Morocco,” the UNHCR representative explained to MWN…”

  26. No European army possible without Turkey: EU Minister (hurriyetdailynews, Sep 27, 2017)
    http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/no-european-army-possible-without-turkey-eu-minister.aspx?pageID=238&nID=118451&NewsCatID=510

“The security of the European continent cannot be provided without Turkey and the long-anticipated European army cannot be founded without the participation of the Turkish armed forces, said the EU Minister Ömer Çelik on Sept. 27.

“No European army can be built without Turkey. I do not say we support or oppose this idea [of the European army]. But you can provide neither the security nor the future of Europe without Turkey,” Minister Çelik told Spanish journalists at a meeting in Spain.

“Seeing Turkey as the bodyguard of the EU is a sick mentality. We are against [those who hold] this mentality if they only talk to us about security matters and not when it comes to sharing democracy and prosperity,” he said.

The EU minister underlined that a static Europe will fail to build a European force and therefore needs to turn into a more reformist structure by taking Turkey on its side while doing so.

“Unfortunately, those who are talking about Turkey are doing so without looking at the map.
Turkey has a vast strategic [value] and is at the level of European democracies,” said Çelik.

“Turkey is a European country and a European democracy. Leaving Turkey out of Europe means, in fact, leaving the EU out of international issues geopolitically, economically and diplomatically,” he added…”

  27. Qatar fails to investigate World Cup-related deaths (gulfnews, Sep 27, 2017)
    http://gulfnews.com/news/gulf/qatar/qatar-fails-to-investigate-world-cup-related-deaths-1.2097085

“Many thousands of migrant workers on construction sites in Qatar, including those building stadiums for the 2022 World Cup, are being subjected to potentially life-threatening heat and humidity, according to new research on the extreme summer conditions in the Gulf.

Hundreds of workers are dying every year, the campaign group Human Rights Watch (HRW) has said in a strong statement, but they claim that the Qatar authorities have refused to make necessary information public or adequately investigate the deaths, which could be caused by labouring in the region’s fierce climate.

An analysis of the weather in Doha last summer has also shown that workers on World Cup construction projects were in danger, despite the more advanced system used by the tournament organiser, Humidex , which measures safety levels of heat and humidity.

“Enforcing appropriate restrictions on outdoor work and regularly investigating and publicising information about worker deaths is essential to protect the health and lives of construction workers in Qatar,” Sarah Leah Whitson, HRW’s Middle East director, said.

“Limiting work hours to safe temperatures, not set by a clock or calendar, is well within the capacity of the Qatari government and will help protect hundreds of thousands of workers.”

In 2012, the Qatari government revealed 520 people from Bangladesh, India and Nepal — whose citizens travel in their hundreds of thousands to do construction work in the Gulf — had died. Of these, 385, or almost three-quarters, had died “from causes that the authorities neither explained nor investigated”, HRW said.

Last year the Qatari government told HRW that 35 workers died, “mostly from falls, presumably at construction sites”, but this did not take into account hundreds more people who died from heart attacks and other “natural causes”, patchily reported by their countries’ embassies and unexplained by the authorities.

The “Supreme Committee” organising the 2022 World Cup, which Fifa originally voted in 2010 could be played in the summer but has since been moved to winter , is striving to enact higher welfare standards than those generally applied for the two million migrant workers in Qatar.

It has disclosed that 10 workers on World Cup projects died between October 2015 and July this year, classifying eight of these, three of them men in their 20s, as “non-work related” because they resulted from cardiac arrest or respiratory failure. HRW argues that these classifications are meaningless, effectively only a statement that the person has died because their heart and breathing stopped.

HRW said in its statement that such descriptions “obscure the underlying cause of deaths and make it impossible to determine whether [the workers’ deaths] may be related to working conditions, such as heat stress.”…”

  32. Swiss Parliament Votes to Ban Financing of Mosques From Abroad (sputniknews, Sep 28, 2017)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/201709281057765817-swiss-parliament-ban-financing-mosques/

“In 2015 Europe had to cope with a huge influx of migrants. Since integration measures do not always prove to be effective, European governments are concerned about the preservation of their countries’ national identities.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Swiss National Council, the parliament’s lower house, voted with a narrow majority against financing of mosques from abroad and for expanding general transparency of the mosques’ financial backing.

According to the Federal Assembly’s website, 94 members of the parliament voted in favor of the decision, with 89 voting against it. The vote took place on Tuesday.

The new legislation, proposed by the right-wing Lega dei Ticinesi party, bans foreign financing for mosques and implies that they will now be obliged to declare the origin of the financial support they receive, as well as the purpose to which the money will serve.

Moreover, the bill obliges imams to preach in the national language of the area where the mosque is located.

The bill now will be debated in the Council of States, the upper house of the Swiss parliament. If the legislation is approved by this chamber as well, a referendum will take place for the people to vote for or against the proposed bill.”

    • Swiss Parliament Votes to Ban Financing of Mosques From Abroad

Fecking brilliant! Let’s see how many of these non-assimilating, chronically unemployed, immigrants economic tourists will cough up the bucks necessary to construct more mega-mosques in their newfound homes targets of colonization. Also, let’s make sure that foreign foundations cannot be established to funnel in the money needed for such construction. Leave it up to the intensely parasitic Muslim “visitors”. Let’s see how much zakat they’re able to kick down. Ha-ha!

These invading, predatory, shites need to be slapped with restrictions that cause them an endless degree of rethinking about their too-well-concealed battle plans. Banning foreign financing of mosques is a superb first step. As in, fü¢k you, Saudi Arabia and all of your billions of petrodollars.

“Iran is the only country with a large proportion of Kurdish population which manages to cultivate decent relations with them. With Iraqi Kurds Tehran has a long-standing relationship which has deepened after 2014 when Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps started to back Kurdish Peshmerga’s efforts to counter Daesh.

NEW YORK (Sputnik) — Iran will remain an eternal friend of Kurds despite their recent vote to split from Iraq, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in New York on Wednesday.
