Leftism makes giant leaps and bounds into the culture: Links 1, Sept. 16, 2017

1. Peel School Board banns Shakespeare because he was white.

Here is the Toronto District School Board (Related to Peel) logo. Does it remind you of anything?

2. Eighteen year old arrested for burning bucket attack on London train, England on highest state of alert.

(That is pretty much all the information there is in the article, It would be nice to know who they arrested, but also why the high state of alert? Do they have intel on another attack? Or is this the new tradition of declaring a high state of alert after an attack in order to look prepared for the one that just happened?)

3. Robert Spencer defends Canadian Heritage Minister, who is under attack for having a grip on reality.

4. Two hour debate between two Islamic preachers on one side, and Robert Spencer and David Wood on the other. Topic: Is Islam a religion of peace?

The value is trying to identify the tactics of the muslims. As they cannot possibly win a debate on facts and using reason, as Islam is a strategy of political domination, mostly via violence. So for those who watch, learn from the two scholars who accurately explain the Koran, and learn from the muslims the tactics and strategies on how to fool the unbelievers.

5. Oakland County USA: 16 year old Mohammad Altanawi being charged for murdering his mother. Father was concerned that the American family of Muslims was becoming Americanized.

Thank you Perfect Child, M., NorseRadish, Wrath of Khan, Sassy, EB., MissPiggy, Charles, and many many more who regularly send in articles and items which help hold back the tide of postmodernist reality denial.

Today is also a stunningly busy day. So please do check the comments at the Reader’s Links post, as there is a great deal of important information and links there, supplied by our regulars.

More video to come including the long awaited explanation of why the OSCE matters.

  1. 1- Thank you, Ezra. So now a young person wanting to learn classical literature, to learn to act in the Shakespearean tradition in Ontario cannot, for surely this ban will spread beyond Toronto. It is it’s own tragedy but one unworthy of Shakespeare.

  2. ‘Refugee foster boy’, 18, arrested at Dover port over Parsons Green bucket bomb ‘was first held by police two weeks ago but freed’ as detectives raid home of the caring pensioner couple who took him in

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4889860/May-raises-level-critical-ISIS-claim-Tube-attack.html#ixzz4sseo0y28

The home raided by police in connection with the attack, which injured 30, is owned by a couple who were both appointed MBEs for fostering hundreds of children.

Penelope Jones, 71, and her husband Ronald, 88, have raised 268 foster children in the house over three decades and the last eight have been refugees.

(Click on the link for a look at these bozos being awarded their MBE’s by the Queen.)

Serena Barber, 47, who has known the couple all her life and lives in a property backing on to theirs, said: ‘They have two boys at the moment, both are foreign. One is very quiet and polite, the other who is 18 is awful.
‘I know about two weeks ago he was arrested by police at Parsons Green, for what I don’t know and returned back to Penny and Ron. After that Penny said she was going to have to stop caring for him, she couldn’t handle him.’

    • Burns, crush injuries from stampede, school kids…

The PTSD toll of this one will be enormous. Hope the UK is working on treatment for the growing number of afflicted. Too many, in such a short span, a serious problem seldom mentioned.

    • I don’t know that it’s a commie conspiracy, but teaching reading by methods appropriate for Chinese, but NOT for English, is certainly odd. And when tested reading skills deteriorate, you’d expect a re-evaluation.

      From whom?

Unions of teachers are as territorial as unions of iron-workers or ladies’ garment workers. Led by bosses with the same set of interests – pay, conditions, job security. Collective bargaining, um…

Still, they must consult with “experts” in the field.
      So who are they?

Look at the junk curricula at university departments of education. Toxic rubbish. Or commie doctrine.

Maybe. I don’t want to get close enough to be sure.

  3. Ezra you have my thanks for showing the latest attack on our shared culture, the many distopian novels of the 40s and 50s are coming true with the left destroying the educational systems of the world so they can destroy Western Civilization. Sadly in the culture war we are losing just as we seem to have lost the war to preserve civilization, we haven’t lost the culture war yet but we need to realize that the parents need to step in and do their best to teach the great books to their children and if they know enough try and teach at least some of the facts of history to their children.

  4. Speaking of Old Bill:

    An Odious Ode to Islam

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s unlimed outhouse?
Thou art smellier and less convivial:
Rough rapes do shake the darling buds of Germany,
And an “immigrant’s” lease hath all too long a date:
Sometime too hot their sexual emergency shines,
And often is his cold predation undimmed,
And every fair White lass sometimes cannot decline,
By chance, or Islam’s vicious course untrimmed:
But thy Islamic predation shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that jihad thou ow’st,
Nor shall death brag thou wander’st from his shade,
When harsh eternal retribution thou sow’st,
So long as White men can breathe, or eyes perceive,
So long lives this Western anthem that enlivens we.

    Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?” (Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18)

    Warmest personal regards,

    NorseRadish

    • Shall I compare you to your mother’s way?
You have more love… more ‘contemperate.’
Rough winds do wake the darling buds of grey,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a mate.
Sometime too hot these eyes of Heaven shine,
      And often is his gold complexion brimmed;
And every hair from hair sometimes decline,
      By chance, or nature’s changing course, untrimmed;
But your Eternal Summer shall not jade,
Nor lose possession of fairness you own’st,
Nor shall death brag, to wonder who had made
When the eternal lines of mime still grow’st.
So long as males can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

  5. 4. When the musselma presenter at the start of this video
had to wear a google-burqa (digital erasure from advertising) things looked ominous.
Time to unplug the Smart TV, close the front windows for passing Citizens, and enjoy.
