  1. EXCLUSIVE: IRANIAN NUCLEAR SMUGGLING RING SENT TO TOP GERMAN COURT

The German Federal Court of Justice will rule on whether three businessmen can face criminal penalties for selling nuclear technology to Iran, allegedly to be used to develop weapons, prior to the 2015 nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers.

The Jerusalem Post obtained a 2016 copy of the indictment against the three German businessmen and information from a Berlin criminal court on the new legal developments.

The businessmen – Bernd Gehrad L., René L. and Ralf C. – delivered 51 highly specialized valves to Iran between 2010 and 2011. The value of the valves, including the delivery to a sanctioned Iranian company, amounted to €1 million.

According to the indictment, “Bernd and René recognized since at least 2009 that behind the buyer [of valves] Hossein T. was an organization that was banned from receiving nuclear-capable material.”

Hossein T. appears to be Hossein Tanideh, a key operative for Iran’s atomic program, who has served as the conduit for delivering highly desired German valves to Iran. The US Treasury Department sanctioned Tanideh in 2012 with a freeze of his assets because of his illicit nuclear procurement business.

The indictment said Hossein was the final recipient of the delivery of valves from a firm based in the Iranian city of Tabriz.

  2. 2+2=5: Hillary Thinks Takeaway of 1984 Was ‘Trust Our Leaders’

In her new book What Happened, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took a shot at literary interpretation — and twisted George Orwell’s book 1984 to mean the exact opposite of what it really means.

“Attempting to define reality is a core feature of authoritarianism,” Clinton wrote. “This is what the Soviets did when they erased political dissidents from historical photos. This is what happens in George Orwell’s classic novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, when a torturer holds up four fingers and delivers electric shocks until his prisoner sees five fingers as ordered.”

So far, so good. Then Clinton draws the exact wrong message from Orwell’s classic. “The goal is to make you question logic and reason and to sow mistrust toward exactly the people we need to rely on: our leaders, the press, experts who seek to guide public policy based on evidence, ourselves,” she bizarrely added.

But Clinton wasn’t done. “For Trump, as with so much he does, it’s about simple dominance,” she concluded.

  4. Multiple Democrats Currently Involved In Child Sex Scandals

Democratic Seattle Mayor Ed Murray resigned Tuesday after more allegations of child sexual abuse surfaced in what is becoming a disturbing pattern of Democratic politicians involved in crimes and allegations of child sexual abuse — scandals largely ignored by the media.

Murray’s resignation, effective 5 p.m. on Wednesday, comes after a fifth allegation of child sexual abuse surfaced on Tuesday — this time from a family member.

However, Murray’s alleged behavior is not alone; several major Democrats are facing charges or received convictions regarding sexual crimes related to children over the past year.

  5. Palestinians show Holocaust-era images as photos of “Israeli massacres”

Tomer Ilan on Facebook made a startling discovery:

Palestinian Media falsely presents Holocaust images as images from the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. My research has revealed dozens of cases in which Palestinian and Arab publications, including mainstream newspapers, are publishing images of World War 2 Nazi concentration camps falsely labeling them as events that occurred in the Middle East conflict.

Sure enough, this image from the Gestapo concentration camp Mittelbau-Dora has been used in Arabic media as proof of Israeli massacres. The camp was not primarily meant for Jews although thousands of Jews, including women and children, were sent there towards the end of the war and many died en route and starved to death in the camp itself.

    • This is an ironic [I hope so!] comment beneath the link above:

We cannot let these practices inform us as to the development of Arab anger. We cannot look at the inferiorities of the Arab society as something that would affect a future state or the past conflict and present situation.

The Arabs have their issues, but we should not try to discover why these issues are at work. Fairness demands not that we fairly look at each party. But that we look at both parties as being the same.

There are no moral values associated with societal advancement. Moral conduct has nothing to do with prosperity. And we cannot compare societies because this is unfair. Besides there is no such thing as defineable morality, because there is no god. Or at least not just one god.

Societal advancement only is achieved through theft and imperialism. Thus we are able to look at jewish society and judge it intensely. And without making any comparison to the weaker, browner ones. We speak only of the imperialists. Because the strong are wrong, and the weak are meek.

We can’t look at the weaknesses of the weaker, browner ones, but we can believe that their anger is 100% justified, as they are pure. Any error is excused. And you won’t excuse them? My my then where is your compassion, you disgusting little creature?!!! You racist.

Senate Bill Demands EPA Stick to Regulations Based on REAL Science

(Brendan Clarey, Liberty Headlines) A bill introduced in the Senate on Tuesday seeks to dial back the Environmental Protection Agency’s power to enact regulations without reputable science behind them.

The “Honest and Open New EPA Science Treatment Act of 2017,” otherwise known as the HONEST Act, prevents EPA from using disreputable scientific studies by holding it to increased accountability.

Studies used for regulations would have to be referenced specifically and released, while protecting sensitive information such as trade secrets and confidential information from public disclosure.

According to the text of the Bill, the purpose is “to prohibit the Environmental Protection Agency from proposing, finalizing, or disseminating regulations or assessments based upon science that is not transparent or reproducible.”

  7. American Fighting for Daesh Captured in Syria – Reports (sputniknews, Sep 14, 2017)
    https://sputniknews.com/world/201709141057403589-american-fighting-with-daesh-captured/

“US Military reports say a US citizen fighting for Daesh was captured by Kurdish soldiers in Syria and then handed over to American forces.

According to CNN, a US military official told the outlet that the American citizen surrendered to the Kurdish elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

“We have seen those same reports and the SDF as our partner has taken an oath to make sure that any fighter that they capture that they maintain them and bring them to the proper authorities,” Col. Ryan Dillon told reporters at the Pentagon during a video conference. “In this case the proper authorities would be the equivalent of the department of state in the country.”

“If this was a US citizen it would be the Department of State to find out the updates on that particular person,” Dillon added.

The current location of the US citizen has not been released.

This is not the first American caught fighting for Daesh, Mohamad Jamal Khweis, a US citizen from the suburbs of Washington DC, was indicted in November on two counts of material support for terrorism. Khweis had surrendered to Kurdish authorities in March 2016 after realizing the group did not “represent the religion.”

“I made a bad decision to go with [a] girl and go to Mosul,” Khweis told the Kurdistan 24 station. “Daesh, ISIS, ISIL, they don’t represent the religion.””

    • The man is right the immigration issue belongs in Congress, he is forcing the Congress critters to do their jobs and if they do as I think they will the voters will kick them out of office.

The idea we aren’t going to deport the illegals just because they were kids when they came to the US is wrong, They are here illegally and if we let them stay we are doing irreparable damage to the rule of law. But so much damage has already been done to the rule of law it may take a revolution to return us to the rule of law.

  9. MONTREAL – Jewish group disappointed Montreal imams accused of hate speech won’t be charged

MONTREAL — Two Islamic preachers accused of giving anti-Semitic sermons in 2014 won’t face charges, a spokesman for Quebec’s Crown prosecutor’s office said Thursday.

Jean-Pascal Boucher said the statute of limitations had expired and, therefore, the Crown will not proceed.

“The prosecutor responsible for the file conducted a careful analysis of the evidence,” he said. “And came to the conclusion that the statute of limitations had been reached and as a consequence, no charges will be brought in this case.”

The Center for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) filed a criminal complaint with police in march 2017 after it discovered two videos online of Arabic sermons recorded at the Al-Andalous Islamic Center in Montreal in 2014.

CIJA alleged an imam in one video uttered anti-Semitic sentiments, and the group claimed a second video included a separate imam allegedly calling for the destruction of Jews.

“While we appreciate the thoughtfulness of the Crown and the investigation of the police, we are very, very disappointed,” said CIJA spokesman Martin Sampson.

The Al-Andalous Islamic Center released a statement in early 2017 in response to CIJA’s accusations.

The statement referenced one of the videos, and stated the imam’s intention “was not to call for the destruction of Jewish individuals or the elimination of this community. His wording was, however, tainted by an abusive generalization, and we consider that a serious mistake.”

Representatives of the mosque were unable to be reached Thursday.

OUTRAGE THAT MONTREAL IMAM WON’T BE CHARGED FOR MAKING ANTI-SEMITIC COMMENTS CAUGHT ON VIDEO

Members of Montreal’s Jewish community are upset that there will be no charges against a Montreal imam making anti-semitic comments a mosque in St. Laurent and captured in YouTube videos.

In the 2014 video taken at the Al-Andalous Islamic Center, imam Sayyed Al-Ghitaoui calls on Allah “to destroy the accursed Jews”, “to kill them one by one” and “to make their children orphans and their women widows.” `/strong>

The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs in Quebec told CJAD 800 News that the crown informed them there’d be no charges of incitation to hatred because of the statute of limitations, and no charges of incitation to genocide because there’s not enough evidence. The chief crown prosecutor’s office could not confirm to CJAD 800 News at this time that there’d be no charges.

“We’re obviously very disappointed if what he said does not cross the threshold for incitement to genocide it’s unclear what would,” said co-chair Rabbi Reuben Poupko.

“This was explicit, this was repeated, this was unambiguous.”

The centre had apologized for what they called “clumsy and unacceptable” phrasing used by a substitute imam.

    • Trump prods State Department to stop delaying release of Clinton emails

Judicial Watch gets 97 newly disclosed exchanges

The White House has been privately urging the State Department to speed up its protracted process for releasing Hillary Clinton’s still-undisclosed emails.

A person close to the discussions said State may shift gears and speed up its responses to Freedom of Information Act lawsuits.

The pressure from the White House may be working. On Thursday, the State Department released a batch of Clinton-related emails that show how she honored requests from Clinton Foundation and campaign donors to pull some strings. The department turned over to Judicial Watch, a government watchdog group, 1,617 pages of documents, including 97 email exchanges not previously disclosed.

Both candidate and President Trump made a big issue of Mrs. Clinton’s mishandling of classified data in emails stored on her at-home unsecured server and her decision to have 30,000 of those emails erased. She claimed all of the destroyed emails dealt with personal matters, but the FBI was able to retrieve more than 2,000 and said a portion contained classified information.

The irony is, Trump administration attorneys have been in court defending the State Department’s desire for a slow security review process before release, which a district court judge approved.

As recently as June, Mr. Trump tweeted, “Crooked H destroyed phones w/hammer, ‘bleached’ emails, & had husband meet w/AG days before she was cleared.”

Tom Fitton, who directs Judicial Watch, a conservative nonprofit, estimates it will take until 2020 for all documents to be released at the current pace.

“The Trump administration is going out of its way, the agencies Justice Department, FBI, DNI and State, to protect Mrs. Clinton,” said Mr. Fitton, who sued the State Department under FOIA. “The State Department is telling us they want to take as long as 2020 to give us the information.”

He wants State to provide two collections: The thousands of unreleased emails the FBI provided to State that were retrieved from Mrs. Clinton’s contacts and were among the 30,000 originals erased by Mrs. Clinton’s legal team.

In addition, the FBI obtained thousands of pages of emails from Clinton confidante Huma Abedin. They were found on a laptop owned by her husband, former congressman Anthony Weiner.

Mr. Fitton said the 2020 calculation does not include the stash from Ms. Abedin via the Weiner laptop.

The bureau investigated Mrs. Clinton’s use of private servers to conduct government business. Then-FBI Director James B. Comey, during the election campaign, said her actions were “extremely careless” but did not violate federal law on the handling of secrets.

Mr. Fitton said Trump administration attorneys have argued in U.S. District Court that a diminished public interest in Clinton emails justifies a slow response. The State Department says it lacks the manpower for the tedious message-by-message process of determining whether any classified information exists and should be withheld.

Mr. Fitton said State was able to work at a faster pace in 2015 and 2016.
“They choose what resources to apply,” he said.

The Obama State Department released over 55,000 pages from 30,490 Clinton emails before the November election on orders from a federal judge. About 2,000 emails were withheld because they contained classified information.

But that was not the end of the story. The FBI investigation recovered several thousand additional emails not released by State. Some were from the batch of erased emails.

The bureau found 49,000 emails on Mr. Weiner’s laptop “which were potentially relevant to the investigation,” said an FBI letter sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee in May. Two emails forwarded to Mr. Weiner contained classified information. Another 10 included classified information and had been placed there as backups. All 12 had previously been viewed by the FBI from other devices.

Mr. Fitton said he is surprised that the Trump administration is in a court brawl with Judicial Watch.

“They are also fighting us on soliciting the Justice Department to go out and find any additional Clinton emails,” Mr. Fitton said. “The Federal Records Act requires the State Department to seek action from the Justice Department when records like this go missing.”

He said the State Department and the Director of National Intelligence are also opposing Judicial Watch’s demand that they perform a damage assessment to determine whether any secrets fell into the wrong hands.

“They say it wasn’t serious enough to warrant a damage assessment,” he said. “That’s what this administration is telling us. They are defending here. It is unbelievable. Really unbelievable. They’ve actually slowed things down during the Trump administration.”

Mr. Fitton said other officials could be implicated in sending secrets on unsecured systems.

“Institutions want to protect themselves from scandal,” he said.

The Washington Times asked the State Department if it will speed up the FOIA screening.

A department official said, “The department takes its records management responsibilities seriously and is working diligently to process FOIA requests and to balance the demands of the many requests we have received. The department continues to process the Hillary Clinton-related emails that are the subject of FOIA litigation and has complied with its court-ordered processing requirements. We cannot comment further as this matter is in ongoing litigation.”

The Times also asked an administration official about White House efforts to have Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson accelerate release.
“I’ve heard that too. Displeasure at the process was expressed,” the official said. “I don’t know if that is going to do anything. Others have told me there’s just no way to speed it up.

“In order for the people of Syria to resist the crusader, Shia and international aggression, Muslims – all Muslims – must stand with them, support them and give them victory,” he said.

  11. 2 moms indicted for female genital mutilation, lawyer argues ‘cultural issues at play’ (RT, Sep 15, 2017)
    https://www.rt.com/usa/403389-fgm-federal-charges-two-moms/

“Federal prosecutors have filed charges against two mothers in Minnesota who allowed their daughters’ genitalia to be cut during an illegal religious procedure earlier this year. A Michigan-based doctor who performed the operation is also awaiting trial.

The two mothers have been charged with female genital mutilation (FGM) and conspiracy to commit FGM, according to an indictment that was unsealed Thursday. The two women each have seven-year-old daughters, whom they are accused of performing the procedure on, the Detroit News reported.

One woman, a US citizen, was arrested at her home by the FBI on Thursday and was subsequently arraigned in federal court in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was then released on bond and is expected to appear in court on September 21 at the Detroit federal court. She still has custody of her daughter and son, according to Dan Homstad, a defense lawyer representing the two mothers.

The second mother’s legal status and hometown is not known, according to the Detroit News.

The indictment alleges the two mothers planned a nighttime rendezvous at a Livonia, Michigan clinic, owned by Doctor Fakhruddin Attar, who has also been charged in this case.

FGM is practiced by some members of the Dawoodi Bohra, a small sect of Shia Muslims hailing from India.

“This is a very complex case,” Homstad said, according to the Detroit News, “and there are a lot of cultural issues at play that the (Dawoodi Bohra) community up here is struggling with.”

“I represent two very caring and intelligent parents of two wonderful children. This arrest, of course, is very hard on the family,” he added.

If convicted of FGM under US law, the mothers face a possible fine and imprisonment for no more than five years…”
