Protesting metal detectors at Temple Mount, demonstrators hurl stones at Jewish house of worship, decry ‘terror state’ Israel

A group of Turkish ultra-nationalists on Thursday protested outside one of the most significant synagogues in Istanbul to denounce Israel’s security measures at the Temple Mount following a deadly attack last Friday that left two Israeli police officers dead, the Dogan news agency said.

The group from the Alperen Hearths, a far-right ultranationalist and Islamist youth group, said in a statement read outside the Neve Salom synagogue in central Istanbul that Israel was a “terror state” seeking to block freedom for worship to Muslims.

3. Soros’ ProPublica Slips: Admits Low-skilled Immigration Hurts American Workers

A report released by a media firm backed by left-wing financier George Soros admits that low-skilled immigration hurts America’s middle and working-class.

ProPublica, backed by Soros, released a report where they not only confirmed President Trump’s argument that immigration should be merit-based to help Americans, but also conceded that the last four decades of low-skilled immigration has hurt U.S. workers:

Of course, the question of how immigration impacts GDP is a small slice of a much broader question of how immigrants and immigration policies affect our economy. Steven Camarota, the director of research for the Center for Immigration Studies, points out that a key question in any hypothetical scenario is whether the native born population is better off. A massive increase in immigrants may add to the size of the U.S. economy, but that doesn’t necessarily make things better for the people already here.

4. “A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither, A society that puts freedom before equality will get a high degree of both.” -Milton Freedman.

I prefer to put it that If you stick to equality of opportunity and treat equity like the plague, you will have Utopia. The question remains, can you recognize it?

5. Muslims bank outrage against security measures on the Temple Mount.

Are they outraged because access has been restricted to them?

No.

In fact, ONLY Muslims are allowed to do religious ritual there. Christians and Jews are forbidden and Israel enforces that. The Muslims are doing what they do best, selling outrage to the media, because they can no longer carry weapons to the area or in and out of the Al Aqsa mosque. Notice the following item about Turkey and Turkish endorsement of the Muslim tactics:

The J Post:

He assured Erdogan that Israel had maintained and would continue to maintain the status quo at the Temple Mount, in which only Muslims can pray there but Jews and Christians can visit.

INN:

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday urged his Israeli counterpart Reuven Rivlin to swiftly remove metal detectors erected at the entrances Temple Mount following a deadly terrorist attack at the holy site last week.

Muslims have been refusing to enter the Temple Mount since Sunday, when Israel began installing metal detectors at entrances to the site following the murder of two police officers.

“Within the framework of freedom of religion and worship there can be no impediment for Muslims” entering the holy site, the Anadolu news agency quoted Erdogan as telling Rivlin.

Once again, the impediment, is for weapons. Not Muslims. Although the distinction grows increasingly blurry.

6. What is the new normal for Christian group activities in the UK?

Christian site, The Way:

The Keswick Convention takes place every year in Cumbria but this year, security measures have stepped up this year in response to a potential terror threat to this year’s attendees. The Convention spans over three weeks and is attended by over 15, 000 people from all over the UK.

The organisers say that there no information to suggest a specific threat but that they are taking every precaution to protect against one. Armed policemen as well as barriers have been set up to protect Christians during the convention.  After the London and Manchester terror attacks, organisers are not taking any chances and have also employed their own professionally trained security team.

Armed police will be deployed and are due to patrol the convention’s Skiddaw Street and Rawnsley premises while planters and cars will be parked outside buildings as a deterrent against vehicle attacks.

Related story:

Armed police and barriers are being brought in to help protect Christians attending the Keswick Convention in Cumbria against any potential terror threat.

Extra security measures are being put in place for the three-week festival, as officials say they are not taking risks in light of recent attacks in Manchester and London. Organisers stress there is no information to suggest a specific threat.

Multiculturalism must always mean that ultimately, a given society dumbs down to the least tolerant group within it. The only way to have anything even remotely like a multicultural or even multiracial society, is a muscular and well defined liberal republic where the state enforces the rights of the individual and ignores calls for group rights. The moment you forget that, well look around.

    • Right up and until they figure out how to send an empty self-driving vehicle to another destination after it’s been packed full of high explosive “luggage”.

What’s that you say? Equip every autonomous car with bomb-sniffing detectors? All for a mere $10K per automobile?

Nothing strangles useful technology in the cradle like those who have zero compunction about perverting it in the most harmful and destructive manner.

This is just one more example of why I continue to predict that Islam will have to be maimed before any meaningful progress can be made around the rest of this world. There is no way to protect every corner of the planet from having some Muslim crap in it.

At some point, it becomes easier to “limit the range-of-freedom” that Muslims experience as opposed to monitoring or shielding every last physical vulnerability from them.

This needs to be repeated until the useful idiots understand it, which is going to take a long time.

  3. Once again, the impediment, is for weapons. Not Muslims. Although the distinction grows increasingly blurry.

    Priceless!

  4. Religion of pieces,
    Religion of intolance and abuse
    Religion of dictatorship
Religion of Lucifer and the Left : Me, myself and I. Support by useful idiots.

  5. Re Security at Temple Mount:
They should count themselves lucky that they don’t have to take off their coats, belt, shoes, open their laptops, present a picture ID, and not carry more than 4oz of liquid with them.
That is the security I am forced to comply with anytime I want to get an a plane. And guess who made this possible!

    • Touché!

Enough sniveling about metal detectors. Then again, isn’t sniveling the Muslim national pastime?

  6. When the Temple Mount situation first broke last weekend I read a little tid bit about how lots of Jews were visiting because the f’in muslims were boycotting. It reminded me of living in SoCal when our children were little. We would take them to Disneyland on Superbowl Sunday because attendance was way down. LOL!

  7. We would take them to Disneyland on Superbowl Sunday because attendance was way down.

Brilliant strategy! I’ll bet the ride lines were much shorter.
