Comparing leftist views on immigration policies, the US Vs. the Islamic world

An original article by Vlad Tepes contributor, Grace.

No doubt the same critics that denounced President Trump’s initial executive order barring people from seven Muslim majority countries are set to oppose his second executive order barring people from six Muslim majority countries.
People across the United States and Canada took to the streets in protest denouncing President Trump’s first order as racist and Islamophobic. Lawyers were on hand to help those in need. CAIR launched a federal suit challenging the constitutionality of President Trump’s executive order. People wept and carried placards.
Yet sixteen Muslim nations have barred and continue to ban Israelis from entering their nations. Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen forbid admission into their countries from Israeli passport holders. One doesn’t even need to be Jewish to be denied- proof of visiting Israel is enough to be denied entry.
And let’s not forget that non-Muslims are forbidden to enter the city of Mecca.

What apartheid really looks like

I have yet to see Americans and Canadians along with their Muslim neighbours taking to the streets to denounce these 16 Muslim nations for their blatant discrimination against Jews and non-Muslims. Where are the placards? The demonstrations? The denunciations? The hypocrisy is astonishing.

  1. You raise some really good points about hypocrisy over border control – REALLY good points.

You should submit your article to newspapers.

  2. “Thank you, Grace.

“The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization…”

    Rites Hustlers.

So how do Muslims argue for their oxymoron: Sharia Civil Rights?

    First wave Islamists:
    “Dear Heba
??The Sharia law, as is practiced in many Muslim countries today, is clearly incompatible with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Today Sharia is a source of injustice that profanes Islam and shames Muslims who adhere to a compassionate and merciful interpretation of their faith.

.At the same time I cannot see why a more humane and gentler Sharia law that is confined to the personal realm could not emerge in the future. Traditional Muslims – apart from Salafi and Wahhabi Muslims who are dominant in Saudi-Arabia – have long recognized the legitimacy of multiple schools of Islamic jurisprudence.”

    Second wave Islamists:
    “Dear Emran,
??The Sharia law is not only compatible with human rights but also the most effective way to achieve human rights. Human rights violations in Muslim countries – whose regimes are usually supported by Western allies – are not due to Sharia law.
The violence in Islamic countries is mainly exercised by the state and dates back to the post-colonial era. There was an attempt to secularize the different laws of the Islamic societies and to remove Sharia. The legal systems of the late French and British colonial powers were seen as a model for the judicial reformation and as a basis for modernising the state.”

    Third wave Islamists: “allahu akbar!”

  3. Selective enforcement always has been a favorite tool of the tyrannous and corrupt.

Why do you think Liberals and Muslims are so enamored of it?

Here’s another example that hasn’t been mentioned yet. All the Mexicans piss and moan about Trump dropping the hammer on illegal immigration. What do you think happens to Guatemalans who try and illegally cross into Mexico on their way north towards the USA???

THEY DIE (aka “Disappear”). The same thing goes throughout South and Central America. Yet, only America is eeeeevil for attempting to control its borders. Permission to hurl.

PS: Great post, Grace. Keep ’em coming!
