4. An impartial federal judge has issued a ruling in a defamation lawsuit that essentially alleges that CNN is a purveyor of “fake news.”

The case involves a claim brought by a hospital CEO over spurious allegations in CNN reporting that inflated infant mortality rates at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach.

The former CEO of that facility, Davide Carbone, asserted that the cable news network had manipulated statistics and ignored data that painted a different picture of the true rates at the hospital.

The attorney for Carbone said that “the case against CNN certainly fits the description of media-created ‘Fake News.’”

UPDATE: I decided to delete the video from this post as frankly, the claim about the Bild.de article was easy to check and clearly BS. I know that Snopes leans left and when an answer is ambiguous they will come down on the side that is most left leaning. But that doesn’t make them always wrong. Here they are on that claim.

(I am trying to track down the Bild thing with Soros. I don’t actually believe he would say that in an interview which pretty much zaps the reality out of this video. But Ill post an update when we find it or don’t)

  1. 5 – He has mixed enough truth in the report (the groups that Soros is funding) that it lends credence to the rest of the video. Has Soros said that? Not in an interview and if in private only to people who would keep it quiet.

  2. 1 – A Canadian Professor has floated the idea of getting around the PC police by putting the lectures on line in a for profit format and having an independent testing group run the testing. This would allow everyone the chance to go to a top University and learn what use to be taught in all schools while avoiding the high tuition costs that keep so many from the best schools. If this is done it will take leave the SJW’s alone on their campuses screaming at each other.
