Germany: Youths push 75 year old woman down the stairs

An original translation by Nash Montana with much thanks.

From this German news site:

The Hamburg police are looking for two men who reportedly pushed an elderly woman down the stairs at the subway station at Hamburg-Ohlsdorf. The incident happened Monday morning during rush hour when the train station is extremely busy. Afterwards the young men took the senior woman’s purse without intervention by anyone.

Police spokesperson: “A devious assault”

The woman had just exited the subway and was starting to walk down the stairs when she suddenly was pushed from behind. She lost her balance and fell. She suffered light injuries. A second attacker grabbed her purse when she fell. “This was a most devious attack”, police spokesman Ulf Wundrack said. If not for the 75 year old to hang on to the stair railing, she might have been injured a lot worse.

Nobody placed an emergency call

The two attackers were about 17 to 18 years old. The search for the offenders includes pictures taken from the subway CCTV. The police are stunned that not a single passerby placed an emergency call especially since the train station was packed with people.

  1. The left has created a society where people are afraid to become involved no matter what happens. My first sentence is an indictment of Merkel and the society she has helped create, everyone who helped create this society has committed massive crimes against humanity and civilization. They have removed centuries of advancement and returned the vast majority of people oin Germany to the status of serfs.

Richard, I’m curious as to how you might compare (or connect) this phenomenon to the death of “Kitty” Genovese.

While I certainly do not expect you to justify, explain, or reconcile any of this behavior (historical or otherwise), what historical-social-political traits might you attribute this to?

This “turning-away” from reality epitomizes modern society and (well beyond the horrendous death of “Kitty” Genovese), enables willful ignorance—one of the absolute worst of all voluntary crimes.

While I doubt that we disagree, I’d still welcome your rant about description of what drives this willingness (amongst Liberals) to turn a blind eye avert whatever collective gaze they have from such profound evil.

Please be sure that America’s support for Donald Trump was a refreshing remarkable change-of-course but remains something that will need to be borne out by actual deeds.

      • I was thinking of the death of “Kitty” Genovese. when I wrote the comment, I was thinking about how closely the European nations resemble New York City of the 1970s. All we are lacking is Charles Bronson playing Paul Kersey in the Death Wish movies. When the first movie came out every time he shot a punk the audience cheered.

It would be instructive to see how the Europeans would react to a movie showing a movie showing a Blond Haired Blue Eyed man going after the group that raped and killed his family? The public’s reaction to the Death Wish movies gave politicians who wanted to clean up New York City and other hell holes the left had created hope and the knowledge that the public was supporting them.

In Europe the number of people who are willing to come out in the open with their support of the resistance is limited but the votes show a hidden support which is may be appearing too late to prevent massive violence.

Thank you for the reply, Richard. Of equal concern is the possibility that, as already has been seen many times, the will of the voters simply will be ignored, regardless of their quantity. The only hope would be an overwhelming turnout for the AfD. At this point, that remains an unlikely proposition.
