  1. London man JAILED for posting ISIS video on his FACEBOOK page (express, Dec 11, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/742180/abdul-hamid-london-jailed-anjem-choudary-isis-daesh-terror-facebook

“A 31-YEAR-OLD MAN from London has been been jailed for two years after he posted an ISIS propaganda video to his Facebook page.

Abdul Hamid, from Barking, was sentenced at the Old Bailey on Friday after he pleaded guilty to disseminating a terrorist publication.

Hamid, who moved to England as a child from Bangladesh, posted a four minute video called ‘No Respite’, which included graphic images of US soldiers in distress and being killed, accompanied by a commentary praising ISIS…”

    • The inclusion of Andy Chowderhead’s name in the article’s URL made me curious. Sure enough, Abdul Hamid, was a staunch athletic supporter of now-jailed pro-terrorist jihad preacher, Anjem Choudary. From the link:

Abdul Hamid, 31, was a committed extremist who branded moderate Muslims as “sell-outs” and called for them to be “exterminated” under Sharia Law.

He insisted women could not be political leaders and told his Facebook friends to “Be like Anjem”, over a picture of convicted extremist Choudary.

Hamid was arrested in February this year after he posted a four-minute-long Isis propaganda video called “No Respite”, which was viewed more than 400 times on his Facebook page. [Shouldn’t that should have equated to 400 separate charges of “disseminating a terrorist publication”.]

Judge Peter Rook QC, sentencing at the Old Bailey, accepted Hamid has significant physical and mental health problems and prison will be tough for him.

Annnnnnd … THERE THEY ARE! This poor widdle misguided soul, “has significant physical and mental health problems”.

Don’t all Muslims? Why is this news? Wasn’t this article supposed to have the obligatory mention of how this sod was being bullied or subjected to disturbing social pressures?

  2. If anyone had a chance to ‘integrate’ it would be a 4 year old.
I’d suggest he be deported back to Bangladesh where he would feel more at home and his mental problems would be seen as an attribute.
Close the mosques and madrasas, ban the koran.

  3. Europe on the brink: Streets ‘will become war zones’ as continent descends into crisis

EUROPEAN leaders are said to be preparing for mass civil unrest as multiple catastrophic problems engulf the continent.

It comes after months of warnings from experts – including top military brasses – that massive economic issues, mass immigration, and terrorism will lead to a full-scale crisis.

    advertisement

They have predicted this will affect the entire continent, eventually leading to civil war on the streets.

In December 2015, one of the most apocalyptic warnings came from André Blattmann, the Swiss head of the armed forces.

Blattmann, who left his job just weeks later, said the combination of hybrid wars, the economy, and the refugee crisis would have “unforeseen dimensions”.

He then claimed social unrest was something Europe’s leaders and armies had to be prepared for.

    • I am glad some people in Europe are seeing the future well enough to prepare for it, but what is troubling is the way the paper says they are preparing for massive protests but doesn’t mention politicians making any move to change the policies fomenting the coming civil unrest.

The smart politicians are seeing that the Marxist policies of the past half Century or better have failed and are pushing to change the policies so their countries can recover from the damage done to them by the Marxists. The chattering class and the politicians in power seem intent on committing national an cultural suicide.

The coming elections in Europe are the last chance to avoid social unrest in most nations, in some the Marxists are so entrenched that I see very little chance they can be removed at the ballot box.

  4. Brexit? Frexit? Who cares???

I’m waiting for when Deutschland goes and … “Gerxit”.

You saw it here first. “Gerxit”. (Sorry dear ladies, it’s a guy thing.)

  5. …I see very little chance they can be removed at the ballot box.

Oh, they can be removed at the “ballot box”. After all, polling locations always are located in public places. Now, whether these “removals” involve regular “voting” is another matter entirely.

I can only suppose that’s why so few politicians linger about openly on election days. Too bad about that.

    • Yeah Judge Lynch could cast a deciding vote if the voters could lay hands on the politicians. A year or so ago there was a video showing a German politician who was either very brave or very stupid. The crowd showed it hatred and he just stood and talk as if nothing was happening.

  6. Southern Poverty Law Center labels attacks by Muslim and BLM-inspired extremists as ‘far-right’
    By J.E. Dyer December 10, 2016

Why is anyone still giving the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) oxygen? It’s been clear for some time that they’ve given up trying to be a serious organization, and are now dedicated to simply defaming anyone they disagree with, by whatever method comes to hand.

Daily Caller and Breitbart are reporting that the SPLC has labeled the June 2016 attack on the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, by Omar Mateen, an example of “terror from the right.” This in spite of the fact that Mateen swore allegiance to ISIS during the attack, and had been connected for years with radical Islamist Marcus Dwayne Robertson (aka Abu Taubah), among other extensive Islamist links.

The SPLC also called the 2009 attack on FBI agents by Luqman Ameen Abdullah, in Dearborn, MI, an example of “terror from the right.” Abdullah was a radical Islamist who advocated creation of an Islamic state in the U.S.

Equally inexplicable: the SPLC also calls the mass slayings of police in Dallas and Baton Rouge “terror from the right.” These attacks were committed by perpetrators inspired by Black Lives Matter, and connected with radical black nationalist groups.

You know who else the SPLC has labeled as a far-right extremist, and placed on its “watch list”? Dr. Ben Carson.

  7. the guardian -Egypt: bomb blast at Cairo Coptic cathedral kills at least 25 people

Egyptian state TV says 35 people were injured in attack on St Mark’s Cathedral, the second explosion in capital in two days

A bomb blast at Egypt’s main Coptic Christian cathedral has killed at least 25 people, state media said.

The attack on the Cairo church, at about 10am (0800 GMT) on Sunday, was one of the deadliest against the country’s Christian minority in recent memory.

Another 35 people were injured, Egyptian state TV reported, when the bomb exploded in a chapel close to the outer wall of St Mark’s Cathedral, the seat of Egypt’s Orthodox Christian church and home to the office of its spiritual leader, Pope Tawadros II.

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/dec/11/egypt-bomb-blast-cairo-cathedral
    ==================================

Cairo church bombing kills 25, raises fears among Christians

A bombing at Cairo’s largest Coptic cathedral killed at least 25 people and wounded 49, many of them women and children attending Sunday mass, in the deadliest attack on Egypt’s Christian minority in years.

The attack comes as President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi fights battles on several fronts. His economic reforms have angered the poor, a bloody crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood has seen thousands jailed, whilst an insurgency rages in Northern Sinai, led by the Egyptian branch of Islamic State.

The militant group has also carried out deadly attacks in Cairo and has urged its supporters to launch attacks around the world in recent weeks as it goes on the defensive in its Iraqi and Syrian strongholds.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but exiled Brotherhood officials and home-grown militant groups condemned the attack. Islamic State supporters celebrated on social media.

“Allah bless the person who did this blessed act,” wrote one supporter on Telegram.

The explosion took place in chapel, which adjoins St Mark’s, Cairo’s main cathedral and the seat of Coptic Pope Tawadros II, where security is normally tight.

The chapel’s floor was covered in debris from shattered windows, its wooden pews blasted apart, its pillars blackened. Here and there lay abandoned shoes and sticky patches of blood.

“As soon as the priest called us to prepare for prayer, the explosion happened,” Emad Shoukry, who was inside when the blast took place, told Reuters.

“The explosion shook the place… The dust covered the hall and I was looking for the door, although I couldn’t see anything… I managed to leave in the middle of screams and there were a lot of people thrown on the ground.”

Security sources told Reuters at least six children were among the dead, with the blast detonating on the side of the church normally used by women.

They said the explosion was caused by a device containing at least 12 kg (26 pounds) of TNT.

Police and armored vehicles rushed to the area, as hundreds of protesters gathered outside the compound demanding revenge for the attack that took place on a Muslim holiday marking the Prophet Mohammad’s birthday and weeks before Christmas. Scuffles broke out with police.

A woman sitting near the cathedral in traditional long robes shouted “kill them, kill the terrorists, what are you waiting for?…. Why are you leaving them to bomb our homes?”

    “EGYPTIAN BLOOD IS CHEAP”

Though Egypt’s Coptic Christians have traditionally been supporters of the government, angry crowds turned their ire against Sisi, saying his government had failed to protect them.

“As long as Egyptian blood is cheap, down, down with any president…” they chanted. Others chanted “the people demand the fall of the regime”, the rallying cry of the 2011 uprising that helped end Hosni Mubarak’s 30-year rule.

Sisi’s office condemned what it described as a terrorist attack, declaring three days of mourning and promising justice. Al-Azhar, Egypt’s main Islamic center of learning, also denounced the attacks.

Orthodox Copts, who comprise about 10 percent of Egypt’s 90 million people, are the Middle East’s biggest Christian community.

Copts face regular attack by Muslim neighbors, who burn their homes and churches in poor rural areas, usually in anger over an inter-faith romance or the construction of church.

The last major attack on a church took place as worshippers left a new year’s service in Alexandria weeks before the start of the 2011 uprising. At least 21 people were killed.

Egypt’s Christian community has felt increasingly insecure since Islamic State spread through Iraq and Syria in 2014, ruthlessly targeting religious minorities. In 2015, 21 Egyptian Christians working in Libya were killed by Islamic State.

The attack came two days after six police were killed in two bomb attacks, one of them claimed by Hasm, a recently-emerged group the government says is linked to the Brotherhood, which has been banned under Sisi as a terrorist organization.

The Brotherhood says it is peaceful. Several exiled Brotherhood officials condemned the bombing, as did Hasm and Liwaa’ al-Thawra, another local militant group.

Coptic Pope Tawadros II cut short a visit to Greece after learning of the attack. Church officials said they would not allow the bombing to create sectarian differences.

But Christians, convinced attacks on them are not seriously investigated, say this time they want justice.

“Where was the security? There were five or six security cars stationed outside so where were they 12 kg of TNT was carried inside?” said Mena Samir, 25, standing at the church’s metal gate. “They keep telling us national unity, the crescent with the cross… This time we will not shut up.”

“PROTESTS have broken out in Cairo just hours after 25 people were killed in an explosion near the capital’s Coptic Cathedral.

At least 25 people have died and 49 more are injured in the blast, with the number expected to rise, according to Egyptian state television.

The explosion rocked St Peter and St Paul Coptic Orthodox Church within St Mark’s Coptic Cathedral grounds as a Sunday mass was held coinciding with a national holiday in Egypt marking the birth of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.

Police and armoured vehicles filled the streets surrounding the site and crowds gathered in front of the church to call for justice.

Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail visited the scene as protests broke out in front of the cathedral, with crowds shouting “The people demand the fall of the regime”.

The cathedral is the home of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Egypt and home to its leader, Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria.

The Coptic Orthodox Church is the largest Christian church in Egypt and the Middle East’s biggest Christian community.

Though Egypt’s Coptic Christians have traditionally been supporters of the government, angry crowds turned against President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, saying his government had failed to protect them.

  8. The Dutch Death Spiral
From Paradise to Bolshevik Thought Police

    by Giulio Meotti

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/9537/dutch-death-spiral

A country whose most outspoken filmmaker was slaughtered by an Islamist; whose bravest refugee, hunted by a fatwa, fled to the U.S.; whose cartoonists must live under protection, had better should think twice before condemning a Member of Parliament, whose comments about Islam have forced him to live under 24-hour protection for more than a decade, for “hate speech.” Poor Erasmus! The Netherlands is no longer a safe haven for free thinkers. It is the Nightmare for Free Speech.

The most prominent politician in the Netherlands, MP Geert Wilders, has just been convicted of “inciting discrimination and insulting a minority group,” for asking at a really if there should be fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands. Many newly-arrived Moroccans in the Netherlands seem to have been responsible for a disproportionate amount of crime there.

Paul Cliteur, Professor of Jurisprudence at Leiden University, who was called as an expert witness, summed up the message coming from the court: “It would have been better if the Dutch state had sent a clear signal [to terrorists] via a Dutch court that we foster a broad notion of the freedom of expression in the Netherlands.”

Here are just a few details to help understand what Wilders experiences every day because of his ideas: No visitors are allowed into his office except after a long wait to be checked. The Dutch airline KLM refused to board him on a flight to Moscow for reasons of “security.” His entourage is largely anonymous. When a warning level rises, he does not know where he will spend the night. For months, he was able to see his wife only twice a week, in a secure apartment, and then only when the police allowed it. The Parliament had to place him in the less visible part of the building, in order better to protect him. He often wears a bulletproof vest to speak in public. When he goes to a restaurant, his security detail must first check the place out.

    • This may be what Holland needs to wake the people to the danger of both the left and Islam, we will have to wait and see what the results of the next election is.

  9. Erdogan’s Private Youth Army

    by Burak Bekdil
    December 11, 2016 at 4:00 am

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/9539/erdogan-youth-army

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has good reasons to be living in constant fear. Only a few months ago, on July 15, hundreds of military officers, including several in his own security detail, attempted to topple him in a coup d’état. But the way he thinks he can best fight and win a future attempt at his governance — and life — exposes Turkey to the risk of civil war.

Erdogan’s fight against coup-plotters is legitimate. His paranoia is understandable. But his efforts to build a private army of devotees is not. The level of paranoia surrounding his 1,100-plus-room palace is reaching new heights. One of his chief advisors, Yigit Bulut, recently accused foreign chefs on cooking programs shown on Turkish TV stations of being foreign spies. Bulut claimed that foreign chefs are touring Anatolia merely to gather intelligence and are collecting information about military bases and industrial facilities in Turkey. Bulut may sound amusing, but he is one of Erdogan’s chief advisors.

This paranoia is pushing Erdogan and his men into an abyss of paranoia — and civil war. There are signs, also, that Erdogan’s adventurism will not be confined only within the Turkish borders. In a shake-up of the national intelligence agency, for instance, Erdogan’s government created the position of a deputy undersecretary in charge of “special operations.” Pinar Tremblay, a Turkey expert, says:

“The establishment of this unit tells us that Turkish adventurism is not to be quelled any time soon. To the contrary, it will expand because now we see the government is willing to spare more funding and human resources to special operations. The institutionalization also tells us that Turkish presence in Syria and involvement in Iraq will be coordinated from this center and that this unit is set to grow in the coming months.”

There are also signs that Erdogan wants to fight an all-out war inside Turkey against any and every enemy he may be facing.

    • It looks like Erdogan is trying to recreate the assassins! Until the Mongol invasion destroyed their headquarters they were a major factor in all Islamic politics and at times ranged into Europe. This is a development that we need to watch very closely and hopefully we can nip it in the bud before the organization grows strong enough to be a major threat.

  10. Iran and Boeing Sign $16.6 Billion Deal on Sale of 80 Aircraft (NYT, Dec 11, 2016)
    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/11/world/middleeast/iran-boeing-airplane-deal.html

“TEHRAN — Iran and Boeing signed a deal for the sale of 80 airplanes on Sunday, five weeks before the inauguration of President-elect Donald J. Trump, whose Republican supporters in Congress have tried to block any aircraft sales to Iran.

Iran’s national airline, Iran Air, said that it had signed an agreement with Boeing, an American manufacturer, to purchase the aircraft, at a total cost of $16.6 billion.

In September, the Treasury Department gave approval for Boeing and its European competitor, Airbus, to sell planes to Iran.

Boeing confirmed the deal, saying that the contract was reached within the terms of the government license that the department had issued.

The sale includes 50 twin-jet, narrow-body 737 planes and 30 long-range, wide-body 777 aircraft. The first airplanes are scheduled for delivery in 2018, with the entire order being fulfilled over 10 years.

For nearly four decades, no American companies could engage in significant business with Iran, which officially considers the United States an archenemy. But with the deal, the country is not only buying aircraft from an American supplier; it also means there will be long-term interaction between Boeing trainers and employees of Iran Air…”

  11. British Foreign Secretary Stresses Friendship in Saudi Visit (abcnews, Dec 11, 2016)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/british-foreign-secretary-stresses-friendship-saudi-visit-44123793

“Britain’s foreign secretary is emphasizing the depth of his country’s friendship during a visit to Saudi Arabia as he tries to defuse controversy over comments seen as critical of the kingdom.

Boris Johnson met Sunday with King Salman and other top officials in Riyadh days after The Guardian newspaper released a video of him saying Saudi Arabia and Iran are engaged in Mideast “proxy wars.”

A Saudi-led coalition allied with Yemen’s government is fighting Iranian-backed rebels in a conflict that has killed more than 4,000 civilians.

During a press conference with Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir, Johnson offered assurances of Britain’s friendship and stressed the importance of “candor” in their relationship.

He expressed concern about civilian suffering in Yemen while noting security threats Saudi Arabia faces from the conflict.”

  12. BREITBART – GERMANY Berlin’s New Secretary of State is Pro-Sharia Law Conservative Muslim

The daughter of Palestinian immigrants is to be the Berlin senate’s secretary of state for coordinating federal and state affairs, but attention has focused on her recent remarks in support of Sharia law.

Berlin state senate member, former deputy speaker for foreign affairs and Muslim rising star of German politics Sawsan Chebli is to get a new cabinet post. The appointment by the Red-Red-Green coalition government has caused concern after a recent interview in which she expressed her view that Sharia law was perfectly compatable with secular German society.

Speaking back in August alongside Berlin Social Democrat party Mayor Michael Muller, she not only defended Sharia law against suspicion by many Germans who she accused of not understanding what it meant, but she also went on the attack too. Criticising members of anti-mass migration party Alternative for German (AfD), she said their views towards foreigners made them fundementally un-German.

Speaking to the Franzfurter Allgeimeine Zeitung, she said: “My father is a pious Muslim, hardly speaks German, can neither read nor write, but he is more integrated than many functionaries of the AfD who question our constitution”.

Germany’s newspaper of record and the nation’s most widely-read broadsheet Welt reported Sunday that while the politician attempted to portray the image of the perfect “successful migrant” who despite being born to illiterate, stateless parents was able to succeed in education and enter politics, there are “cracks” displayed by her support of Sharia.

In August she complained that in political discourse, German national law and Sharia law are always presented as contradictory to each other, and said “Everyone talks about Shariah, but hardly anyone knows what Sharia means”. Remarking that Sharia exists “largely to govern the relationship between God and man”, Chebli said Sharia law was “absolutely compatible” with Germany.

In a letter to Mayor Muller seen by Welt, a senior member of Angela Merkel’s ruling Christian Democrat party moved to criticise the appointment of Chebli, remarking: “It is detrimental to the peaceful coexistence in our city, when a Sharia-trivialising minister such as Ms. Chebli exercises government responsibility”.

“There can be no evasion [around this matter]. I expect a clear distinction from a member of government [over Sharia law]”.

As reported by Breitbart London, Berlin’s SPD faction and Mayor Muller have proven extremely friendly towards migrants, with the city conspiring to prevent deportations of predominantly Muslim illegals ordered by the federal government. As Berlin’s new secretary of state for federal and state affairs, it will be up to Sharia-friendly Chebli to manage that relationship between central government and sanctuary-city Berlin.

  13. BREITBART – ITALY – Italians Denied Election As Defeated Renzi’s Ally Made Prime Minister

Rome (AFP) – Paolo Gentiloni was named Sunday as Italy’s new prime minister following reformist leader Matteo Renzi’s resignation in the wake of a crushing referendum defeat.

Gentiloni, who served as foreign minister under Renzi, was asked by President Sergio Mattarella to form a new centre-left government that will guide Italy to elections due by February 2018.

A close ally of the outgoing premier, Gentiloni now has to put together his own government team ahead of a parliamentary approval vote expected on Wednesday.

In a brief statement, Gentiloni said there was an “urgent need for a fully functioning government” to address a series of pressing international, economic and social issues.

Chief among those is a looming crisis in the troubled banking sector and ongoing relief efforts after a series of deadly earthquakes between August and October.

Mattarella turned to Gentiloni after opposition parties rebuffed overtures about a possible national unity government. The president rejected opposition demands for an immediate election.

“Not by choice but out of a sense of responsibility I will be forming a government based on the outgoing majority,” Gentiloni said.

Renzi, who had been in power for two years and 10 months, resigned last week after voters overwhelmingly rejected a package of constitutional reforms on which he had staked his future.

The populist Five Star Movement, which has led calls for immediate elections, said it would boycott Wednesday’s vote because the new government would have no legitimacy.

“This government is not even worthy of a vote against it,” said Giulia Grillo, head of the Five Star group in the Senate.

    – Puppet premier? –

Gentiloni, 62, is very close to Renzi and will be seen by the opposition as a puppet premier keeping the seat warm for former boss, who is planning a comeback at the next elections, whenever they are.

In a statement on his Facebook page, Renzi, 41, admitted it had been a wrench to leave office and vowed to pursue his reform agenda.

“It was painful to pack the cartons yesterday evening, I’m not ashamed to say: I’m not a robot,” he wrote.

“Only those who try to change things can help a country as beautiful and difficult as Italy.”

Five Star, Italy’s biggest opposition party, and the far-right Northern League are demanding a vote as early as possible.

But Mattarella, who enjoys extensive executive powers during government crises, has ruled that the current electoral laws must be revised first.

Theoretically that could happen quickly but the process of harmonising the rules governing elections to the two houses of parliament, the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, could also drag on for months.

As things stand, the lower house would be elected by a system under which the largest party is guaranteed a majority of seats while the Senate would be voted in under a proportional representation system.

Most observers agree that this is a recipe for chaos.

    – Small investors’ fury –

The situation could be simplified at the end of January, when the constitutional court is due to rule on the legitimacy of the new winner-take-all system for the Chamber of Deputies.

Gentiloni had taken over as foreign minister in October 2014, replacing Federica Mogherini who is currently serving as EU foreign policy chief.

He is a longstanding friend and soulmate of Renzi’s and cynics will say that the silver-haired, grey-suited politican’s primary qualification for the job is that he poses no threat to the former premier’s comeback plans.

Gentiloni’s first tricky task as prime minister is likely to be overseeing a rescue of troubled bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena (BMPS).

A state-funded salvage operation is seen as inevitable following the European Central Bank’s refusal on Friday to allow more time for a private bailout.

Under EU rules, state funds can be injected into troubled banks only if private creditors accept losses. In the case of BMPS, this could hit many small investors who hold the bank’s junior bonds.

Imposing losses at smaller banks last year caused outrage in Italy and damaged Renzi’s standing.

    • But look at this:
Former Italian MP: Incoming Prime Minister Gentiloni Aroused Ire of Current Leader Renzi by Abstaining in Virulently Anti-Israel UNESCO Vote

Italy’s top diplomat, who was just appointed by outgoing Prime Minister Matteo Renzi to replace him as head of the government, is “friendly to Israel like a European; he opposes BDS, for example, but won’t go against the politically correct grain,” a former member of the Italian Parliament told The Algemeiner on Sunday.

Italian-Israeli author and journalist Fiamma Nirenstein — former Vice President of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies, among other roles, and current fellow at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs think tank — gave two recent international votes as examples of what she described as Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni’s attempts not to rock any boats — and his boasting of his close relationship with his counterparts, US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

The first was the UNESCO resolution, adopted in October, rejecting Jewish ties to the Temple Mount and Western Wall in Jerusalem; the second was a series of anti-Israel UN General Assembly resolutions a few weeks later.
Nirenstein, who was the first journalist in Italy to break the front-page story in Il Giornale that Gentiloni had abstained in the UNESCO vote, rather than opposing it, said that it was a great shock to the public, the press and the prime minister himself.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov dismissed media claims that Moscow and Washington agreed on letting Syrian militants leave the besieged areas of East Aleppo.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia and the United States have not agreed on letting Syrian militants leave the besieged areas of East Aleppo, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said Sunday.

Earlier in the day, media reports said the United States and Russia had agreed to open up evacuation routes for civilians and lightly-armed militants in eastern Aleppo. Reports cited a Syrian opposition official who stated the agreement would be implemented within two days, but that the rebels had not yet accepted the proposal.

strong>”What is reported by western agencies is not necessarily true… Issues of militants leaving are the subject of separate agreements with the United States, this agreement has not yet been reached mainly due to the fact that the United States insists on unacceptable parameters in terms of a ceasefire which would, in fact, provide full freedom of movement to those who the Syrian forces are currently fighting,” Ryabkov told RIA Novosti.

He refuted that Syrian rebels would be made an offer that they can accept or turn down.

“No joint proposal on any agreements to be put on the table and to be considered by the opposition exists. It is not clear what kind of sources are used by those who are heating up the media in this way,” the deputy minister said, stressing that Russian forces in Syria are doing everything possible to allow safe passage out of Aleppo to all those seeking to leave the city.

Ryabkov also said that Saturday’s Russia-US expert level meeting on Syria in Geneva has not yielded any agreements and progress is slow.

“There is some progress, but there are no agreements… We are still facing the situation where the United States are trying to use this channel to influence the situation on the ground for its own benefit,” Ryabkov told RIA Novosti.

Ryabkov added that the process “is moving slowly enough,” but said that the talks would continue.

  16. abc news – Iran Seals Deal With Boeing to Buy 80 Planes Worth $16.6B

Iran’s flag carrier finalized a major deal with U.S. plane maker Boeing Co. to buy $16.6 billion worth of passenger planes Sunday in one of the most tangible benefits yet for the Islamic Republic from last year’s landmark nuclear agreement.

Iran Air’s deal for 80 jetliners is the biggest agreement Iran has struck with an American company since the 1979 revolution and U.S. Embassy takeover. It has the potential to transform Iran’s creaking and accident-prone aviation industry, which has been hobbled by years of sanctions.

Those curbs have prevented the country from buying new planes from Chicago-based Boeing and European rival Airbus, and in many cases made it difficult for Iranian airlines to secure much-needed spare parts.

    The deal covers 50 single-aisle 737 Max 8s, a soon-to-be-introduced version of Boeing’s existing narrow-body 737 line.

It also includes 30 777s, a wide-body, twin-engine plane typically used on long-haul routes that is popular with other Persian Gulf carriers such as Dubai-based Emirates. Half of the order will cover the 777-300ER version, while the rest will be of the 777-9 model still under development.

Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency said the planes would be delivered over the next decade. The first will start to arrive in 2018, Boeing said.

In September, Washington granted permission to Boeing and Toulouse, France-based Airbus to sell billions of dollars’ worth of aircraft to Iran. Airbus needed U.S. approval because at least 10 percent of its planes’ components are of American origin.

The U.S. and other world powers agreed last year to lift crippling sanctions on Iran in exchange for it curbing its nuclear activities. The U.S. still maintains extensive sanctions on Iran for activities unrelated to its nuclear program.

President-elect Donald Trump and several Republican lawmakers have criticized the nuclear deal, but it’s unclear whether they would scrap the agreement, which was reached with Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China.

Iranian Transport Minister Abbas Akhoundi, who attended the signing ceremony, said it was a “historic” day for Iranian aviation and that the deal would create 8,000 jobs for Iranians.

“The deal has a clear message for the world: we support peace and security as well as the growth of Iran based on a win-win policy,” he was quoted as saying. “We hope that despite changes in the U.S. administration, the country will remain loyal to its commitments.

The Republican-led House of Representatives last month voted to bar commercial aircraft sales to Iran in a move that could block the Boeing deal. That legislation must still pass the Senate, where it will likely face opposition from Democrats. U.S. President Barack Obama has said he will veto the bill if it reaches his desk before he leaves office on Jan. 20.

Boeing made a point of saying it worked closely with the U.S. government throughout the deal-making process and will continue to “follow all license requirements.” The Iran Air deal “will support tens of thousands of U.S. jobs” linked to the 777s alone, it said.

The plane maker said the deal value was based on list prices, though in practice customers typically negotiate discounts for bulk orders.

Most of Iran’s aging fleet of 250 commercial planes was purchased before 1979, and as of June only 162 were operational, with the rest grounded because of a lack of spare parts. Iran Air, whose website lists a fleet of 43 planes, offers direct flights to over 30 international destinations, including London.

  18. Texas Muslim Pleads Guilty to Setting Fire to His Own Mosque

HOUSTON, Texas — The Muslim charged with arson of his own mosque on Christmas Day 2015 has pleaded guilty to felony arson in a Harris County (Houston) district court and was sentenced to prison.

The charging instrument stated that Gary Nathaniel Moore started a fire with the intent to destroy and damage a place of worship – the Savoy Masjid Mosque in Houston. Moore said he attended the mosque every day up to five times a day for five years. The Houston Fire Department (HFD) responded to the fire about 2:47 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Breitbart News reported that “up in smoke is the DC Media’s hoped-for anti-GOP Narrative. Before any facts were known, numerous DC Media outlets immediately exploited the tragedy to place the blame on Donald Trump.” As reported by Breitbart Texas, Breitbart News accurately predicted that the DC media would lose interest in the story “Now that a devout Muslim has been charged.”

Moore had an examining trial to determine if there was enough evidence to hold him in jail or on bond. On December 31, 2015, a Harris County criminal court judge heard evidence presented by prosecutors and found probable cause to hold Moore, as reported by Breitbart Texas. The evidence against Moore as reported was compelling……

  19. Supposedly tolerant NYC is making the Trump kids’ lives ‘horrible’

Protesters in the city may chant, “Love trumps hate,” but that’s not stopping some from piling on Donald Trump’s family.

“You can’t be a Trump supporter in the city,” an old Buckley School classmate of Donald Jr. admitted to The Post.

“I wanted to throw a fund-raiser for [the elder Trump last spring], and my fiancée was like, ‘Don’t you dare! You’ll never get one ounce of business again in this town,’?” said the classmate, who has his own hedge fund.

Ever since the president-elect’s win in November, his family’s life in the Big Apple has been turned upside down. With 78.5 percent of city voters casting their ballot for Hillary Clinton, liberal New Yorkers are still waging an anti-Trump campaign — often aimed at his three oldest children, Donald Jr., 38, Ivanka, 35, and Eric, 32, all born and raised in Manhattan.

So what’s it like when your hometown — supposedly the most tolerant city in the nation — turns intolerant toward you?

    http://nypost.com/2016/12/11/trumps-kids-now-face-rage-of-anti-trump-protesters/

    • Spoiled brats throwing a tantrum, The oh so tolerant left is tolerant of everyone and everything except people who don’t want the left telling them how to live their lives. None of these ALPHA HOTELS has education enough to hold a steady job doing anything besides protesting and rioting but they are very good at doing both. What is scary about this is that the people who are paying for the protests and riots are also talking with others who are willing to start a terror campaign against the people who voted for PET.

      • What is scary about this is that the people who are paying for the protests and riots are also talking with others who are willing to start a terror campaign against the people who voted for PET.

You mean just like in this last election cycle where the media was so busy sucking its own butt breathing its own exhaust, to where they couldn’t accurately predict in which direction the fecking sun would rise?!?

Look on the bright side. These radical Left shites are creating an entire underground of Conservative resistance that none of these mass mudia media wankers will ever be able to account for or track.

I understand your concerns but am obliged to examine the potentially positive and disruptive side of Liberal demonization.

        • The left including lying LSM have divided this nation to the point that if/when they start their terror/assassination campaign there is a very strong probability that some conservatives will start hitting back. Since we have the vast majority of the vets, gun nuts and police on our side you can guess who will win.

  20. Dutch populist leader Wilders rises in polls after conviction

The Hague (AFP) – The party of populist anti-Islam Dutch MP Geert Wilders has risen strongly in the polls since the lawmaker was tried and convicted of discrimination, according to a survey published Sunday.

If legislative elections due next March were held this week, Wilders’ Freedom Party (PVV) would pick up 36 out of 150 seats in the lower house of parliament, making it the biggest single political group, it found.

Before the trial began on October 31, the PVV was credited with 27 seats.

During the trial, but before his conviction on Friday, its estimated share rose to 34 seats. It currently has 12 lawmakers.

The new poll data comes from a weekly monitoring by the Maurice de Hond Institute.

It found that Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s Liberals would place second with 23 seats, against 40 today, and his junior coalition partners, the Labour Party (PvdA), would gain 10 seats, compared with 35 today.

Wilders was found guilty of discrimination against Moroccans but acquitted of hate speech over remarks he made at an election rally in March 2014.

He had asked supporters whether they wanted “fewer or more Moroccans in your city and in the Netherlands.” When the crowd shouted back “Fewer! Fewer!” a smiling Wilders answered: “We’re going to organise that.”

  21. Promising no censorship, social network Gab draws ‘alt-right’

New York (AFP) – Squeezed out of Twitter and other social media websites cracking down on hate speech, far-right activists are finding a home on a new platform that promises never to censor content.

Launched in August, Gab has become known as a safe haven for the “alt-right” movement dominated by the white supremacists who are helping fuel America’s deepening polarization.

The social network currently has 100,000 members and another 200,000 on its waiting list, according to the company.

“All are welcome to speak freely,” spokesman Utsav Sanduja says.

Gab is unable to accommodate all those who want to join, he adds, because it is still in its test phase.

The social network’s rise comes amid Twitter’s suspension of political activists for purportedly promoting racist and harassing comments.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he believes U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will be a good friend to Israel and hopes the two countries can work together to dismantle the international nuclear agreement with Iran.
