        • OMG. This is the same Facebook which recently blocked many Polish Facebook accounts only because they were promoting the Polish Independence March, which commemorates the anniversary of the restoration of Poland’s sovereignty in 1918. Facebook even blocked the account of polish MP, Marek Jakubiak.!!!

“A German court on Thursday jailed three young German men for up to four and half years for travelling to Syria where they teamed up with jihadists.

Fadil Rudolf S., 26, who received the longest prison term, had first travelled to Syria to join the Sunni militia group Junud al-Sham and in 2013 joined fighters of the Isis terror group.

“After his first return to Germany, he once again made himself available as a fighter for Isis over several weeks in July 2014,” the court in the western city of Düsseldorf said in a statement.

“Later in January and in the summer of 2015, he also sought twice to travel to Syria to join Isis.”

The other men, 24-year-old Mohamed A. and 26-year-old Mustafa P., were sentenced to two years and nine months for involvement in Junud al-Sham for several months in 2013.

“The confessions of the accused had a mitigating effect on their sentences,” the court statement said…”

  3. Study: more young people in Switzerland are right-wing (thelocal, Nov 4, 2016)
    http://www.thelocal.ch/20161104/study-more-swiss-young-people-are-right-wing

“A growing number of young people in Switzerland identify with the political right, according to a national survey.

Commissioned by the Federal Defence Department (VBS), the Young Adult Survey Switzerland (YASS), published this week, showed that 36 percent of young people in the country identified with the political right, up from 28 percent five years previously.

The figures, which refer to the period 2006 to 2011, showed that the number of young people in the political centre had also grown, from 31 percent to 36 percent, while those on the left had decreased from 41 percent to 28 percent during the five-year period.

Conducted every four years, the YASS aims to evaluate how young people’s values and views change over the years.

It questioned both young men entering their compulsory military service and around 3,000 19-year-old women in Switzerland about their views on work and training, health and sport, politics and public life, values, skills and outlook on life.

“Young adults are pioneers of a lifestyle that reacts constantly to the latest cultural, economic and social changes,” YASS’s authors said in a statement.

The study aimed to “provide information on young people passing from adolescence to adulthood”.

The initial published results debunk the theory, often touted in the media, that second generation immigrants are more right-wing than those born to Swiss parents, said the report authors.

Fewer than one in five second generation immigrants held conservative views, compared with a nearly quarter of youths born to Swiss parents.

The study also analyzed the prevalence of xenophobia and homophobia amongst young people.

More than half of Swiss without an immigrant background were hostile towards foreigners, found the survey, compared with only 14 percent of second generation immigrants.

However the latter were more likely to hold homophobic views, it said.

Young people’s views were also dependent on their educational background and their parents’ political leanings.

Overall 90 percent of those surveyed said they were happy with their lives in Switzerland, found the study.”

” Migrant arrivals in Italy have tripled since 2013 and in 2017 the government will face “extraordinary spending above 0.2% of GDP for migrants,” Economy Minister Pier Carlo Padoan said Friday. He said over 160,000 migrants had been saved this year, more than the whole of 2015.

There were “concrete risks” that numbers will rise again in 2017, he said.”

  5. Egyptian army brigadier general shot dead in North Sinai (ahram, Nov 4, 2016)
    http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/1/64/247322/Egypt/Politics-/Egyptian-army-brigadier-general-shot-dead-in-North.aspx

“An Egyptian army brigadier general was shot dead Friday afternoon in El-Arish in North Sinai, a military spokesman said.
In a statement Friday evening, the army spokesman said that three militants opened fire on Hesham Mahmoud after Friday prayers in front of his house.

Last Saturday, the army said that over the weekend six militants and four armed forces personnel were killed in North Sinai amid ongoing security operations against militants in El-Arish, Rafah and Sheikh Zuwaid.

Egypt’s army launched a new security campaign two weeks ago against Islamist militants in North Sinai, killing over 50 in response to a militant attack three weeks ago that killed 12 soldiers and injured six others.

Last month, Adel Rajaei, an Egyptian military brigadier general who had previously served in North Sinai, was shot dead in front of his house on the outskirts of Cairo.

In mid-October, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi extended a state of emergency in designated areas of the North Sinai governorate for three months, starting 31 October.

A state of emergency was originally declared in certain areas of the restive province in August 2013, and has been consecutively renewed ever since.”

  6. Car bomb in Cairo ‘targeted judge’ unsuccessfully: Security source (ahram, Nov 4, 2016)
    http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/1/64/247289/Egypt/Politics-/Car-bomb-in-Cairo-targeted-judge-unsuccessfully-Se.aspx

“A car bomb exploded in Cairo on Friday unsuccessfully targeting a judge who is trying a case against supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi, a security source told Ahram Online.

The incident took place in the district of Nasr City and was aimed at judge Ahmed El-Fotouh, according to the source.

Another security source told Ahram’s Arabic website that there were no casualties.

Explosives experts were dispatched to the scene to investigate the incident.

The prosecutor-general has ordered the opening of an investigation into the incident, and a team from the prosecution is on the scene to examine evidence.

In late September, a car bomb targeting one of the top prosecutor’s assistants exploded in a suburb of Cairo, but failed to harm the senior judge.

In May last year three bombs exploded outside the Cairo home of another judge known for presiding over trials of Islamists, injuring four bystanders.

In June 2015, prosecutor-general Hisham Barakat was killed when a bomb hit his car convoy, also in Cairo.”

There was no immediate comment from either organisation, or from the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood, which says it is a peaceful movement…”

    • Looks like the MB is making a move to take over Egypt, I wonder who is going to win this fight?

  8. Hillary Deleted Email Showing She Forwarded Classified Information To Her Daughter

Hillary Clinton deleted a 2009 email in which she forwarded classified information to her daughter, Chelsea.

The email was released on Friday by the State Department. It is one of thousands of emails recovered by the FBI from Clinton’s private email server.

The Dec. 20, 2009 email chain, entitled “Update,” started with a message from Michael Froman, who served as a deputy assistant to President Obama and deputy national security adviser for international economic affairs.

The email, which is redacted because it contains information classified as “Confidential,” was sent to Jake Sullivan, Clinton’s foreign policy adivser at the State Department, and several Obama aides. Sullivan sent it to Hillary Clinton who then forwarded it to Chelsea, who emailed under the pseudonym “Diane Reynolds.”

All of the text in the body portion of the classified emails is redacted because it contains foreign government information.

The State Department labeled the email a “near dupilcate,” indicating that it was mostly similar to other emails that the agency has released from the trove of emails that Clinton turned over in Dec. 2014.

Clinton did not delete other responses she made to others on the email thread.

“Wow — you can’t make this up — sorry to have missed all of that! Let me know if you learn anything else,” she wrote to Sullivan. The State Department released that portion of the email conversation in February.

But perhaps the most significant part of the email is that Clinton forwarded classified information to her daughter, who is and was a private citizen with no government role and no apparent security clearances.

It is unclear when or why Clinton deleted the email. She gave the State Department around 30,000 emails she claimed were related to her State Department work. She deleted a similar number claiming they were personal and dealt with yoga routines, food recipes and Chelsea’s wedding.

FBI director James Comey said in July that investigators recovered several thousand work-related emails from Clinton’s server. The batch of emails released Friday are from that recovered trove.

  9. Woman suing Trump over alleged teen rape drops charges:

    http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/donald-trump-rape-lawsuit-dropped-230770

A woman who accused Donald Trump of repeatedly raping her two decades ago when she was a 13-year-old aspiring teen model has again dropped a federal lawsuit over the alleged assaults.

The accuser, identified in the lawsuit by the pseudonym “Jane Doe,” was expected to appear at a news conference in Los Angeles Wednesday, but that appearance was abruptly canceled.

    • The woman realized she was going to have to pay a big price for her lies and ran trying to lessen what is going to happen to her when the legal system gets its hands on her.

Trying to frame someone for a crime is a major felony.

  10. According to NBC:

U.S. military hackers have penetrated Russia’s electric grid, telecommunications networks and the Kremlin’s command systems, making them vulnerable to attack by secret American cyber weapons should the U.S. deem it necessary, according to a senior intelligence official and top-secret documents reviewed by NBC News.

American officials have long said publicly that Russia, China and other nations have probed and left hidden malware on parts of U.S critical infrastructure, “preparing the battlefield,” in military parlance, for cyber attacks that could turn out the lights or turn off the internet across major cities.

    http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/u-s-hackers-ready-hit-back-if-russia-disrupts-election-n677936

    • If you have done something like this you don’t tell the enemy and let them fix the problem before you attack. If you haven’t done something like this you don’t say you have because any natural outage will cause the Russians to act as if we are attacking them.

Obama and company aren’t going to be happy until Americans are killing Russians and vise versa.
