  1. If this had been a Timothy McVeigh-style white guy wrapped in a Confederate flag shouting, “Vote Donald Trump!” as he went down, the police would have no trouble releasing all that and the headlines would scream “Right wing terrorist! in their biggest font. Instead, it’s one of the guys that Hillary and Barack want to let in by the millions so nobody can say a word. I can’t believe that half the world is so completely oblivious to this stuff. Totally clued out…

The fact is that a young depressed Muslim guy who wants to make up for past sins and not end up in hell is extremely likely to tie his suicide to Jihad. It makes perfect sense. You’re going to kill yourself anyway only this way you get to wake up in Paradise with the 72 virgins and the boys with skin as white as pearls. The authorities just can’t get it through their thick heads that Islamic terrorism isn’t necessarily about an order given to an operative who executes the order. That isn’t required. Everybody knows what to do. It’s freakin’ obvious. Blow things up and kill people. That’s terrorism. Duh…

  2. Agree Richard .. Ha Ha Chris. Too bad it did not hit the socialist
    governor’s mansion.

During the revolutionary war, Connecticut was absolutely critical to the early stages. Providing weaponry, ammo, militia, incredible amounts of food stuffs, safe & swift passage as the war hurtled apace to Long Island.

Plus a few characters named Nathan Hale & Thomas Paine . Sons of the Revolution ..

  3. “Blow things up and kill people. That’s terrorism. Duh…”

    I beg to differ.

Blow things up and *kill as many people as possible*. Now, *THAT’s* terrorism …

    Capisce?

Aside from this minor clarification, please carry on.

    • It is terrorism if the targets are soft targets, it is a guerilla attack if it is a hard target. Soft targets are unarmed and can’t fight back, hard targets have the ability to fight back.

    • They are overplaying the racist card and it is losing its effectiveness. Granted their actions will delay the counter revolution and make it bloodier rather then a semi peaceful one at the ballot box.

  4. Clinton campaign mocks Catholics, Southerners, ‘needy Latinos’ in emails

Long before Hillary Clinton called millions of Americans a “basket of deplorables,” her top campaign advisers and liberal allies openly mocked Catholics, Southerners and a host of other groups, according to newly released emails that offer a stunning window into the vitriol inside the Clinton world less than a month before Election Day.

The emails, published by WikiLeaks after a hack of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s private account, also show Clinton campaign officials and Democratic leaders disparaging supporters of Sen. Bernard Sanders as “self-righteous” whiners, calling Hispanic party leaders such as Bill Richardson “needy Latinos,” labeling CNN anchor Jake Tapper “a d—k” and even lambasting longtime Clinton ally Sidney Blumenthal.

The sheer number of insults in the email trove has left the Clinton campaign, along with outside organizations such as the Center for American Progress that were routinely involved in the brutal bad-mouthing, unable or unwilling to respond. Instead, they have blamed the hack on Russia and have refused to even confirm that the emails are genuine, though they also haven’t denied their authenticity.

The Clinton campaign’s biggest problem may be its assault on Catholics. Prominent Catholic organizations called on Clinton campaign spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri to resign after the surfacing of messages showing her making fun of the faith. The campaign of Republican nominee Donald Trump seized on the opportunity to appeal to religious voters.

  5. Explosive Trump repeats call to jail Clinton

Pueblo (United States) (AFP) – Hillary Clinton on Wednesday slammed rival Donald Trump’s “pure negativity” in their bitter presidential race, as he adopted an increasingly incendiary tone and renewed his call for the Democratic nominee to go to jail.

With less than four weeks before Election Day, and Clinton maintaining her edge in national polls, the pair bore down on key battleground states where the race is likely to be decided.

Trump slammed his opponent, declaring her a criminal who should be prosecuted for endangering national security by using a private email account while secretary of state, and deleting some 33,000 messages that Clinton said were personal and not work-related.

    • As Donald has pointed out, the simple fact is that General Petraeus got his career cut in half over a security infraction that was much smaller than any of a number of Hillary’s infractions, and that’s just plain no fairzeez. If the General had not been mugged by Obama he would probably have joined that big group of Republican contenders on the stage with Donald Trump in the nomination. Instead, he says little and always agrees with the Democrats now. I think they threatened to break him to Ensign, fine him a million dollars, cut his pension to nothing, and throw him in a supermax…that’s what I think… Or maybe they threatened to “find” a few thousand kiddie porn images on his computer. I don’t know, but they sure did shrink him down, didn’t they… I mean, he was the freaking’ head of the freaking CIA at the time of Benghazi, was he not? He sure didn’t say much, considering it was mainly his people who were killed – his people who were left unrescued… Strange…

The current administration has completely slipped its moorings and is now careening out of control toward Kim Jung Unhood. Robert Mubabeehood. Idid Aminhood. Way to go, Democrats. How about Caligulahood? Or maybe it’ll be eight years of Hillaryhood…

      • Retired Lt. Col. Peters told FOX that Petraeus stole a Candy Bar, but that Hillary robbed Fort Knox.

  7. Debate watchers batter Trump piñata outside St. Louis restaurant

ST. LOUIS — A crowd of St. Louis residents watched Donald Trump debate Hillary Clinton on TV at the Yaquis on Cherokee pizzeria Sunday night, then went outside and pummeled a piñata made in Trump’s likeness with a baseball bat.

Trump piñatas are nothing new to restaurant owner Francis Rodriguez. In fact, Sunday evening marked the fourth time Rodriguez commissioned a Trump piñata for residents of Cherokee Street to “thump” since last fall.

Rodriguez said the piñata events aren’t held out of malice but as a way to celebrate a Mexican custom. Rodriguez, who is Mexican-American, said piñatas are often used in Mexico and Central America as a way to poke fun at powerful political figures.

White House Watch: Trump Takes the Lead

The full results from Sunday night’s debate are in, and Donald Trump has come from behind to take the lead over Hillary Clinton.

The latest Rasmussen Reports White House Watch national telephone and online survey shows Trump with 43% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Clinton’s 41%. Yesterday, Clinton still held a four-point 43% to 39% lead over Trump, but that was down from five points on Tuesday and her biggest lead ever of seven points on Monday.

Rasmussen Reports updates its White House Watch survey daily Monday through Friday at 8:30 am Eastern based on a three-day rolling average of 1,500 Likely U.S. Voters. Monday’s survey was the first following the release of an 11-year-old video showing Trump discussing women in graphic sexual detail but did not include any polling results taken after the debate. All three nights of the latest survey follow Sunday’s debate.

FBI, DOJ roiled by Comey, Lynch decision to let Clinton slide by on emails, says insider

The decision to let Hillary Clinton off the hook for mishandling classified information has roiled the FBI and Department of Justice, with one person closely involved in the year-long probe telling FoxNews.com that career agents and attorneys on the case unanimously believed the Democratic presidential nominee should have been charged.

The source, who spoke to FoxNews.com on the condition of anonymity, said FBI Director James Comey’s dramatic July 5 announcement that he would not recommend to the Attorney General’s office that the former secretary of state be charged left members of the investigative team dismayed and disgusted. More than 100 FBI agents and analysts worked around the clock with six attorneys from the DOJ’s National Security Division, Counter Espionage Section, to investigate the case.

  15. Brexit battle hits High Court in challenge to PM May

London (AFP) – The battle over Brexit reached the High Court on Thursday in a legal challenge to Prime Minister Theresa May’s right to start negotiations for Britain to leave the EU without a vote in parliament.

The move could delay Brexit if successful and set up an unprecedented constitutional face-off between the courts and the government.

It was launched after Britain’s June 23 referendum, which saw 52 percent of Britons vote to leave the European Union in a shock result that plunged the value of the pound and raised global economic fears.

The case seeks to challenge May’s assertion that she has the right to trigger notification of Article 50 of the EU’s Lisbon Treaty, which would spark two years of negotiations on Britain’s departure from the bloc.

  17. U.S. judge allows confessions by Venezuela first lady’s nephews

NEW YORK (Reuters) – A U.S. judge on Wednesday declined to throw out the alleged confessions from two nephews of Venezuela’s first lady, ruling they knew what they were doing when they spoke to U.S. agents after their arrest on narcotics charges.

Franqui Francisco Flores de Freitas, 30, and Efrain Antonio Campo Flores, 29, are scheduled to go on trial next month in federal court in New York City on charges they conspired to import cocaine into the United States.

Their statements to agents, as well as other material they sought to suppress, are expected to be introduced by prosecutors as key pieces of evidence.

Lawyers for the two men, who are nephews of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s wife, Cilia Flores, had argued they were in custody for hours before agents identified themselves and that they did not fully understand their U.S. right to remain silent.

19. Russia has ‘playbook’ for covert influence in Eastern Europe: study

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Russia has mounted a campaign of covert economic and political measures to manipulate five countries in central and eastern Europe, discredit the West’s liberal democratic model, and undermine trans-Atlantic ties, a report by a private U.S. research group said.

The report released on Thursday said Moscow had co-opted sympathetic politicians, strived to dominate energy markets and other economic sectors, and undermined anti-corruption measures in an attempt to gain sway over governments in Bulgaria, Hungary, Latvia, Serbia, and Slovakia.

“In certain countries, Russian influence has become so pervasive and endemic that it has challenged national stability as well as a country’s Western orientation and Euro-Atlantic stability,” said the report of a 16-month study by the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington and the Sofia, Bulgaria-based Center for the Study of Democracy.

The publication of “The Kremlin Playbook: Understanding Russian Influence in Eastern and Central Europe” coincides with an unprecedented debate in the United States over whether Russia is attempting to interfere in the Nov. 8 presidential election with cyber attacks and the release of emails from the campaign of Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton.

    http://www.oann.com/russia-has-playbook-for-covert-influence-in-eastern-europe-study/

    • This one I will believe Russia has always wanted to have client states as the buffer zone and all other neighbors. This was the reason the originally conquered Poland and other nations in that region, they wanted a buffer zone they could fight in to keep invaders our of Russia proper.

    • Russia doesn’t need a play book with Americans handling central Europe the way they have been.

  21. U.S. attacks radar sites in Yemen in retaliation for missile attacks on Navy warships

This came in just before sign-off this evening (Wednesday). It looks like we’ve launched Tomahawk missiles at three radar sites on the Yemeni coast. The Tomahawk attack was launched in the 4 AM hour on 13 October, Yemen time. (13 October, incidentally, happens to be the U.S. Navy’s birthday.)

See today’s previous reporting on the missile-attack saga here and here.

    According to NPR:

A U.S. official says the Navy has destroyed three radar locations in Yemen after missiles were fired at a U.S. destroyer off the Yemeni coast.

    The official says:

“Earlier this evening (9 p.m. EDT / 4 a.m. local time in Yemen), the destroyer USS Nitze launched Tomahawk cruise missiles targeting three coastal radar sites in in Yemen along the Red Sea coast, north of the Bab-el-Mandeb strait. Initial assessments indicate that all three targets were destroyed.

“Destroying these radar sites will degrade their ability to track and target ships in the future. These radars were active during previous attacks and attempted attacks on ships in the Red Sea, including last week’s attack on the USA-flagged vessel “Swift-2”, and during attempted attacks on USS Mason and other ships as recently as today.

    http://libertyunyielding.com/2016/10/13/u-s-attacks-radar-sites-yemen-retaliation-missile-attacks-navy-warships/

    • Since this article was posted Iran has sent destroyers to patrol off the coast of Yemen. Looks like they are willing to raise things to the next level.

We are now faced with severl questions that need answering:

1 Will Obama allow the US Navy to attack the next time they are shot at and will he allow us to sink Iranian Ships?

2 Will Russia back Iran when it comes to shooting at US vessels and personal? (Note I said when it comes to shooting at US vessels, Iran and Yemen are going to push this to the level of active combat. Will Russia side with them in a war atainst the US or will it be like Nam, Russia supplied material and training but didn’t engage in open combat.)

3 Will the raising to the next level occur before the election? If there is open combat between Iranian ships and US ships this won’t help Hillary.

  22. The following action was a knee jerk reaction by committed leftists, this won’t help the Dems because it shows what will happen to all who oppose the left if Hillary is elected

Viral O’Keefe video shows Dem organizers condoning vote fraud – so Twitter blocks O’Keefe

And Twitter wonders why their stock is in freefall.

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas has a new video out, in which Democratic field organizers acknowledge that they (a) are treating Republican and Democratic voting registrants differently, and (b) are fine with ripping up Republican voter registrations, which people have completed in good faith, and tossing them, instead of turning them in to the voting authorities as they’re supposed to.

Examples of these stellar passages include a Hillary campaign coordinator in the following interchange with an O’Keefe videographer:

[Trevor LaFauci, Hillary campaign (TL)] The only thing we’ve kind of added is if someone registers as a Democrat, we also have the option of letting them to register to vote by mail.

So if they register Democrat we say great…offering folks the opportunity to vote by mail. So they just fill out this form as well and we keep it.

[PVA videographer (PVA)] What happened if they register as Republicans?

    [TL] Yah… we don’t.

[PVA] We don’t give it to them? [I.e., the vote by mail form.] Okay.

[TL]We are registering them, but not to vote by mail.

[PVA] Yeah. Why, is it because it’s easier to…

[TL] Yeah, it’s kind of just like super easy.

    Here’s another one.

  23. Obama publishes helpful guide on how to do business with Iran in U.S. dollars

[Bonus notes: that’s got to be some guide. The chapter on money-laundering and cash drop-offs in unmarked planes should be particularly interesting. Meanwhile, to be very clear here: Obama’s Treasury is putting this out because in spite of his relaxing of sanctions, foreign businesses are still apparently “too wary” of making transactions with Iran. Huh? The question is why that’s a bad thing. What stake does Obama have in changing it? It’s not like there’s something we’re waiting for Iran to do that depends on such dollar transactions picking up. – J.E.]

The Obama administration is releasing a guide on how foreign bank banks can do business with Iran, the world’s top terror sponsor, using U.S. dollars.

The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued a guide for banks explaining that they can do U.S. dollar trades with Iran, so long as the transactions do not go through financial institutions located in the U.S. OFAC’s guidance follows several months of complaints from Iran claiming U.S. sanctions have scared away potential business partners it was expecting after signing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA, or Iran nuclear deal) last year.

Despite a loosening of sanctions since the Iran nuclear deal, many banks continue to stay away from doing business with the Islamic Republic, which is still considered by the U.S. Department of State to be the world’s premier state sponsor of terrorism.

  24. Another ‘Obama first’: WH hiring DOJ investigators with knowledge of political opponents’ tax info

President Barack Obama’s White House hired at least two Department of Justice (DOJ) attorneys who accessed conservative groups’ confidential taxpayer information while defending the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) during the targeting scandal.

The two were among 10 Justice Department Tax Division lawyers Obama has kept on the White House staff without taxpayer privacy training since April 2009, nonprofit government watchdog Cause of Action Institute (CofA) said in a report made public Wednesday.

Obama “is the first president to have recruited litigation specialists from the DOJ Tax Division, some of whom had knowledge of confidential taxpayer information concerning his political opponents,” the report said. “The DOJ has supplied a regular stream of Tax Division lawyers to the Obama White House for more than seven years, all without any apparent guidance or safeguards to ensure against the unauthorized disclosure of taxpayer information.”

Using Department of Justice tax lawyers may be unique to the current White House, but for “nearly as long as the IRS has existed, presidents have weaponized it against their foes,” the report said. “The Obama administration has made frequent and damaging use of the IRS as a political weapon.”

  25. the Daily Caller -WikiLeaks: Qatar Gave Clinton Foundation A Million Dollar Check For Bill’s Birthday

New emails released by WikiLeaks in connection with its dump of John Podesta’s email server indicate that Qatar, an Islamist state in the Persian gulf, gave former President Bill Clinton a check for $1 million for his birthday.

The email indicates foundation officials also met with representatives from Brazil, Peru, Malawi and Rwanda to discuss donations and philanthropic strategies for the Foundation.

“[Qatar] Would like to see WJC ‘for five minutes’ in NYC, to present $1 million check that Qatar promised for WJC’s birthday in 2011,” Ami Desai, director of foreign policy for the Clinton Foundation, wrote in 2012.

The email was sent to a number of Clinton aides, including Doug Band.

The thread also indicates that Qatar allocated $20 million for development in Haiti, after a massive earthquake devastated the impoverished Caribbean nation and left nearly a quarter million dead. Desai indicated the Qataris “would welcome our suggestions” as regards investment priorities.

The foundation’s activities in Haiti have been the subject of press scrutiny in recent days.

Jake Johnston, analyst at the nonpartisan Center for Economic and Policy Research, criticized what he describes as a “pay to play” environment in Haiti, allegedly facilitated by officials at the U.S. Deartment of State during Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary.

“I think when you look at both the State Department and the Clinton Foundation in Haiti, that line was pretty faint between the two,” Johnston said. “You had a lot of coordination and connection between the two, obviously. And I think that raises significant questions about how they were both operating.”

The email thread also indicates foundation officials attempted to schedule a meeting with Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff. “I pitched CGI, again, and will continue to do so,” Desai wrote.

Rouseff has since been impeached for corruption, though the allegations concerning her administration had not surfaced during the time the email was written.
