France: Restaurant owner refuses service to two Muslim women

When you watch this, try thinking about what would happen if a nice middle aged couple with Trump hats were refused service at some restaurant in LA. Because that would be exactly, and no more and no less, “racist” than what happened to these women.

Where it is different, is that these women are broadcasting abhorrent beliefs with their costumes to a people that have been significantly attacked many times in the past couple of years because of those exact beliefs. The same cannot be said of a middle aged couple in “Make America Great” hats.

The Daily Mail of course wrote it up like it was Kristallnacht.

Two women wearing headscarves were thrown out of a Paris restaurant after being threatened by its self-confessed racist owner who said ‘Terrorists are Muslims, and all Muslims are terrorists.’

The disturbing scenes at Le Cenacle follow a series of incidents in which grandmothers and mothers have been thrown off public beaches in France for wearing Islamic looking clothing.

Now a criminal enquiry has been launched into Saturday’s vicious attack at the restaurant in Tremblay-en-France, a north-east suburb of the French capital.

A debate is certainly needed on the extent to which a business owner has the right to choose who he will do business with. But that debate must not happen in the absence of a simultaneous and integrated debate on selective enforcement of the same laws.

There are countless examples of “Muslim only” rentals, apartment buildings and many other services across the Western world now. If you allow discrimination, which I think is as central to freedom as anything else, then you must allow it for all. A true free market will sort it out. But then again, the current crop of Western leaders seem determined to deconstruct every aspect of Western civilization in much the same way the Muslim Brotherhood stated it will.

“The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’ with all the word means. The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ’sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

  1. I can tell you what would happen if Trump supporters were turned away, FOX would report it and no other broadcast news network, it would make the net and a few print papers.

    • Frankly, I wouldn’t have the nerve to walk around in a “Vote Trump” T-shirt in either the US or Canada or anywhere else, for that matter. I’d be afraid that some brown skinned or left winged individual with big muscles and a small brain would read, “Vote Trump” as, “Bring back slavery and the KKK”, and would beat me to a pulp, or at least say something nasty. The MSM has pretty much put out a fatwa on Trump supporters.

I would also want to watch saying pro-Trump things inside the restaurant for fear of being attacked by mouthy Brownshirts or getting dead flies in my burger…

      • In the small town I live in I can pretty much say what I want but in a larger town or big city I would watch what I said and not wear anything to piss off the left.

I expect that Trump will win in November and I expect that the anti-Trumpers will go ballistic. There will be riots and the BLM types will start their race war in earnest. That is when the vast majority of the people will discover what the Second Amendment is all about.

    • I was going to buy Trump pins for some of my Russian friends, those voting for the first time for POTUS. Then I worried that their English might not be up to PC standards, maybe someone would get hurt…

What a sorry state of the union!

  2. As usual for this topic, the Daily Mail has comments on moderation. And they have that new system that manipulates like and dislike arrows. Anyway, the restaurant owner is right. How can normal people relax and enjoy a meal, when there are enemy soldiers occupying the place, and who knows what they’ll do.

  3. Considering what has been happening in France it’s not surprising that some people are starting to take a personal dislike to Muslims. By insisting on wearing headscarves and beanies they are showing contempt and defiance. They’re saying, “We can slit your throats and drive trucks through your crowds and there’s nothing you can do about it, Infidel. You can’t even stop us from wearing our beanies and our burkas. Meanwhile, in Muslim countries you can’t get ten feet dressed in attire that defines you as Jewish, but they never mentions that.

In Bangui, Central African Republic, Muslims can’t even travel through town without a military escort. They will be literally torn to pieces by the mob without guys with machine guns protecting them. Anti-Muslim hatred can get a lot worse than being denied service in a restaurant.

    • Ready to be teased, Chris?

You reminded me – indirectly, sweetly – that my Sikh friend might be hurt by my casual slur “raghead”. Now I reserve it for “twisted-ragheads” – Ayatollah-flavored Tards with elaborate kinks. Or when nothing but a slur will do.

“Beanie” is “kippa” in dogwhistle. It’s not particularly offensive, especially if you say it with a smile. (^u^)

  4. “Terrorists are Muslims, (following the Koran), all Muslims are Terrorists (supporting the Koran)”

    I cannot fault the logic.

All Terrorists are Communists, (following the Communist Manifesto), all Communists are terrorists, (supporting the Communist manifesto).

Nope, it doesn’t fail at all.

World domination is what it is.

    • I am old enough to remember the Red Terrorists who attacked Europe and Western Civ during the 1970s, and at that time the communist in the west were supporting the terrorists.

    • Calling someone a “Communist” was serious.
My older sister used to beat me up if she suspected I’d been snooping in her things. My father said she was acting like a Communist: ‘What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine.’
I never used it till recently, and even now I stick to “commie”.

  5. So, whatever happened to the idea of “We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone”? I personally don’t support the idea of refusing public services to individuals based upon creed, skin color, sexual orientation, etc. Still, if France permits Muslim-only car rentals, legal services, apartment rentals and the like, it should permit non-Muslim business owners to refuse service to Muslims. Whatever happened to the concept of equal treatment for all? Why do western governments and politicians insist upon special treatment for Muslims?
