  1. Iraqi Shi’ite cleric tells followers to target U.S. troops fighting Islamic State (reuters, July 17, 2016)
    http://reut.rs/29Oj4gP

“Powerful Shi’ite Muslim cleric Moqtada al-Sadr instructed his followers on Sunday to target U.S. troops deploying to Iraq as part of the military campaign against Islamic State.

U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter said on Monday the Pentagon would dispatch 560 additional troops to help Iraqi forces retake the northern city of Mosul in an offensive planned for later this year.

Sadr, who rose to prominence when his Mahdi Army battled U.S. troops after the 2003 invasion, posted the comments on his official website after a follower asked for his response to the announcement.

“They are a target for us,” Sadr said, without offering details…”

“Turkish police have urgently ramped up their presence in Istanbul, with special forces and military hardware deployed to the streets and orders to down aircraft without warning, following unconfirmed reports of rebel helicopters approaching the city. Meanwhile, F-16 fighter jets have been sent to patrol Turkish airspace.

A state of emergency has been imposed in Istanbul and 1,800 additional special police forces have been deployed, the state Anadolu Agency reported.

Armored vehicles have also been deployed to key locations in Istanbul, Sputnik news agency reported earlier.

Unconfirmed media reports claimed that unidentified helicopters have been spotted over the city, two days after rebel aircraft were used in a military coup attempt to attack police and government buildings in Ankara.

Reports of up to five helicopters approaching the European part of Istanbul from the sea were posted by local media, including Haber Turk newspaper, but have not been substantiated…”

There are now more Russian spies trying to gather intelligence in Britain than at the height of the Cold War, a former GCHQ official warned last night.

Foreign intelligence agents are trying to intercept secret communications between arms companies making deadly weapons, members of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence.

Techniques they are using include sending code to mobile phones which allows them to turn the device into an eavesdropping device, monitoring all calls, and also text messages, he said.

  5. ‘No excuse’ for Turkey to abandon rule of law: EU’s Mogherini

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini warned the Turkish government on Monday against taking steps that would damage the constitutional order following a failed weekend coup.

“We were the first… during that tragic night to say that the legitimate institutions needed to be protected,” she told reporters on arrival at an EU foreign ministers meeting, which was also to be attended by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.

“We are the ones saying today rule of law has to be protected in the country,” she said in Brussels. “There is no excuse for any steps that takes the country away from that.”

She also said: “The democratic and legitimate institutions needed to be protected. Today, we will say together with the ministers that this obviously doesn’t mean that the rule of law and the system of checks and balances does not count.”

“On the contrary, it needs to be protected for the sake of the country itself. So we will send a strong message.”

Other ministers also expressed concerns about events after the coup. Mogherini’s fellow EU commissioner, Johannes Hahn, who is dealing with Turkey’s membership request, said he had the impression that the government had prepared lists of those such as judges to be arrested even before the coup took place.

  6. Iran hardliners gain authority in backlash that could sideline Rouhani

ANKARA (Reuters) – A year after Iran’s nuclear deal with the West, hardliners are gaining authority in a backlash against pragmatic President Hasan Rouhani that his allies say could leave him sidelined or push him out of power in an election next year.

Rouhani, who was elected in a landslide in 2013 on a promise to reduce Iran’s diplomatic isolation, delivered the agreement that resulted in a lifting of financial sanctions in return for curbs on Tehran’s nuclear program.

The deal had the grudging approval of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, the arch-conservative in office since 1989, whose ultimate authority outranks that of the elected president.

But now that the negotiations are over, Rouhani’s supporters say that Khamenei and his followers are trying to restrict the president’s authority or replace him. In the face of such pressure, Rouhani himself may decide not to stand again.

Already, hardliners are blaming the president’s faction for the failure of the deal to deliver a swift improvement in living standards, at a time when prices for oil exports are low and promised foreign investment has yet to arrive.

“The political infighting has intensified in Iran. The legitimacy of the establishment is at stake,” said a senior official, who asked not to be identified.

  7. Black Lives Matter leader warns of military coup if Trump wins in November

On Friday, Black Lives Matter leader Shaun King said that the United States could easily see a military coup if Donald Trump wins the presidency in November.

King shared the threat in the form of a tweet, writing:

If Donald Trump becomes President, you are fooling yourself if you think we’re far from having a coup our own selves. I’m dead serious.

A post at Red Alert Politics noted:

This isn’t the first time King has said a President Trump could lead to violence. In a May 9 article in the Daily News, the activist stated that anarchists might vote for the billionaire because his presidency would result in a civil war.

It’s strange that a movement that claims they want to fight injustice peacefully is willing to countenance a spokesman who repeatedly fantasizes about civil wars and uprisings that would lead to death and destruction.

    http://libertyunyielding.com/2016/07/17/black-lives-matter-leader-warns-military-coup-trump-wins-november/

    • I don’t see a military coup if Trump wins, I do see the BLM and other radical left groups starting an asymmetric civil war, But that is already occurring, the murders of the police are guerrilla attacks on the foundations of the US.

The purpose of these attacks is to drive a wedge between the police and the public, the police are getting worried about being murdered and are thus suspicious of all civilians. This wedge will over time grow into a us v them attitude among the cops which is what the Race Hustlers of the left want.

      • The main problem for BLM is that they will be shooting at cops while the white people won’t. This will be a BIG problem for BLM if whites backstop the cops with private arms via the miitia.

        • Several people including Eeyore have said that they think this bull will end when the people realize their is a race war being waged against them and start fighting back.

    • Shawn King claims to be a 1/64th member of the Dindu Nuffin’ tribe. Now 1/64th doesn’t sound like much but he is 100% asshole which gives him enough street cred to pass.

“Turkish officials say that nearly 8,000 police officers have been suspended on suspicion of having links to the coup attempt at the weekend.

Some 6,000 members of the judiciary and military, including generals, have been detained.

    • EU Commissioner Hahn on Turkey coup attempt: “Lists were ready”

2,745 judges, almost 3,000 suspected military plotters, ranging from top commanders to foot soldiers, and prosecutors were sacked and arrested, immediately after the failed Turkey coup attempt

“The lists are available already after the event, this indicates that this was prepared to be used at a certain stage” stressed Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner in charge of European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, while doorstepping to the EU Council, before the ministers of Foreign Affairs took their breakfast in Justus Lipsius building.

2,745 judges, equal number of prosecutors and 3,000 suspected military plotters, ranging from top commanders to foot soldiers prosecutors were sacked and arrested, immediately after the failed Turkey coup attempt. EU Commission’s Hahn suggests that in order to do so, the Turkish government had all those lists ready.

Hahn was also asked on how concerned he is on the arrests of judges in Turkey, after the failed coup d’etat attempt. “We already stated that we expect that the follow up of this event should be along the International rule of law standards. What we see is that this is not yet met,” the Commissioner added.

Turkey government seemed to have list of arrests prepared: EU’s Hahn

The swift rounding up of judges and others after a failed coup in Turkey indicated the government had prepared a list beforehand, the EU commissioner dealing with Turkey’s membership bid, Johannes Hahn, said on Monday.

Following a failed coup attempt on Saturday, Turkish authorities on Sunday rounded up nearly 3,000 suspected military plotters, ranging from top commanders to foot soldiers, and the same number of judges and prosecutors.

“It looks at least as if something has been prepared. The lists are available, which indicates it was prepared and to be used at a certain stage,” Hahn said.

“I’m very concerned. It is exactly what we feared.”

    • Turkish finance ministry suspends 1,500 employees over Gulen links-ministry official

ISTANBUL, July 18 (Reuters) – Turkey’s finance ministry has suspended around 1,500 employees across the country over suspected links to U.S.-based Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen and his network of supporters, a ministry official said on Monday.

Ankara accuses Gulen of being behind a failed military coup on Friday evening in which more than 200 people were killed. Gulen strongly denies the accusation.

The official said the suspensions were in all departments and across the country. They coincide with a wide-ranging purge of suspected Gulen supporters in the judiciary, civil service, police and armed forces.

Earlier on Monday Turkey repeated its call for the United States, its NATO ally, to extradite Gulen, who has lived in self-imposed exile in Pennsylvania for many years. Washington says Ankara must first provide clear evidence of Gulen’s involvement in the abortive coup.

    • wapo- Kerry urges Turkey to maintain democratic principles after coup attempt

BRUSSELS — The United States and Europe pressed Turkey on Monday to follow the rule of law and maintain democratic principles despite a crackdown after an attempted coup.

European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini suggested that Turkey’s bid for E.U. membership could be at stake if it reinstates the death penalty against coup plotters.

“No country can become a partner state if it introduces the death penalty,” she told reporters.” That is key.”

Secretary of State John F. Kerry followed her warning, saying NATO will be scrutinizing Turkey in coming days to ensure that it fulfills the alliance’s requirement that members adhere to democratic governance.

“NATO also has a requirement with respect to democracy,” Kerry said.

Kerry said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has repeatedly assured him that the government will respect democracy and the law, and he warned that NATO will “measure” Turkey’s actions.

“Obviously, a lot of people have been arrested and arrested very quickly,” Kerry said. “The level of vigilance and scrutiny is obviously going to be significant in the days ahead. Hopefully we can work in a constructive way that prevents a backsliding.”

While NATO will be watching the Turkish government’s actions carefully, State Department spokesman John Kirby said, “it’s too soon to say that their membership is at risk.”[…]

      • If the majority want smooth and creamy sharia, they should get it. If there is an ounce of truth to Turkey wanting to be secular they had better stage a real coup right now. In the end, they are all Muslims, so if there is a huge slaughter….meh. Lets see their true face.

        • Given the purge and arrests that have been made I doubt if there are enough secularist left to stage a coup.

        • They might have enough people free and skilled enough to carry out an assassination but another coup is unlikely.

    • the right scoop – Muslim Scholars declare post-coup Erdogan SUPREME LEADER for the ENTIRE Muslim World

After the failed coup in Turkey, a crucial letter of allegiance granted to Erdogan by all Muslim scholars globally was sent from none other than Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi, president of the World Federation of Muslim Scholars.

Qaradawi represents all Sunni Muslim scholars globally. He even tweeted some of its contents. The excerpts from this letter was shared in every media in the Middle East. From the Arab world to Turkey, every Arabic speaking media covered it with zero mention in the West. It consists of what many viewed as a direct command from heaven itself to Erdogan declaring that “Allah” including “the angelic host” and “the saints” appointed Erdogan to be given allegiance by all Muslims including all Muslim scholars from all four corners of the globe:

“Allah is with you and all Arab and Muslim nations are with you including all freedom loving people are with you. We, all the Muslim scholars, in the four corners of the globe, are with you. The Angel Gabriel and the righteous one [in heaven] are with you. And after that the angels will be revealed.

We are all with you. It is because you have stood with righteousness against evil. You are with justice against injustice…

Dear President, lead Turkey as you wish and as we wish … we will be with you giving you strength and will support your party and your loyalists as Allah instructed “O ye who believe fear Allah and stand with the righteous …”

The interior ministry said one 27-year-old suspect had been detained but an accomplice was still at large.

A Reuters news agency report suggests the death toll may be as high as six.

“Five years ago Samer Habib left the United Arab Emirates and moved to Qatar where he opened a restaurant that turned a profit serving Lebanese salads and sandwiches to expats.

    In June, the business folded.

The European lawyers and Indian clerks who for years frequented Habib’s restaurant have been leaving the country in recent months, he said, many laid off in sweeping cuts to public and private companies hastened by a fall in energy prices.

“Customers keep coming to me and saying: ‘Samer, this is my last sandwich’,” he said. “They say it’s been a tough year.”

Like other Gulf states heavily dependent on energy sales, Qatar – the world’s top liquefied natural gas exporter – has sought to cushion the impact of lower oil prices on its finances by raising utility bills and slashing spending.

Many of the foreign workers who make up the bulk of the 2.5 million-strong population have been affected. Companies in Qatar that rely on government contracts are feeling the pinch and are freezing salaries and terminating contracts of expatriate engineers, lawyers and consultants from countries including Britain, France, the United States and India.

This trend risks increasingly polarizing the country between wealthy Qataris at the top and Asian blue-collar workers at the bottom…”

  12. U.N. says Iraq’s battle of Mosul may cost $2 billion in aid

GENEVA (Reuters) – An expected Iraqi assault on the Islamic State stronghold of Mosul is likely to cause mass civilian casualties and force hundreds of thousands to flee their homes, the United Nations said on Monday.

It appealed for funds to deal with the humanitarian crisis, saying it would cost $284 million to prepare the necessary aid and up to $1.8 billion to deal with the aftermath.

“The impact of the Mosul military campaign on civilians will be devastating,” the U.N. said in the summary of its Iraq humanitarian response plan.

“Mass casualties among civilians are likely and families trying to flee areas controlled by ISIL (Islamic State) are expected to be at extreme risk,” it said.

Large-scale displacement of people was expected when Mosul city itself came under attack, it said. Between 1.2 million and 1.5 million people are estimated to live in the city.

“In a worst case, all or the majority of these people will require life-saving assistance and protection,” it said.

Difficulties will include operating close to the Syrian border and the need to support civilians who escape across the frontline, transport them hundreds of kilometers to safety, and house and protect them in hundreds of camps, transit centers and reception sites.

In the best case scenario, 300,000 people will be displaced for three months, requiring an aid budget of $143 million. The worst case would be 1 million displaced for a year, meaning a $1.8 billion cost.

In any case, aid agencies need two and a half months of lead time and $284 million before the assault on Mosul starts. If funding comes too late, they will be unable to respond appropriately, the U.N. document said.

Lise Grande, the U.N. humanitarian coordinator for Iraq, told Reuters last month that at least 430,000 more people could be displaced this year in Anbar, Iraq’s desert province stretching west from Falluja to the Syrian border.

The United Nations asked for $861 million in January this year for Iraq, the minimum needed to keep people alive, knowing that it was unlikely to get the $4.5 billion needed to offer 10 million Iraqis international standards of care, the document said.

However, less than 40 percent of that appeal has been received, stopping 99 frontline aid programs and hindering assistance for 85,000 people who have fled from Falluja.

  13. France: Florists cover Nice promenade with hundreds of flowers after Bastille Day attack

Florists from Nice have covered the Promenade des Anglais with hundreds of flowers to honour the victims of the Bastille Day attack, on Monday.

SOT, Frederique, Florist (French): “After the Promenade des Anglais was stained with blood, we are now covering it with flowers. We are making a path of flowers which will be the longest possible on the tract of the crazy lorry.”

SOT, Frederike, florist (French): “We sell flowers and it is very difficult for us – it’s adding to our sadness – to earn money alongside it.”

    • Nice attack: France not doing enough to stop terrorists, former president Nicolas Sarkozy says

Former president Nicolas Sarkozy has criticised the French Government for failing its people, by not doing more to prevent the attacks in Nice and Paris.

“I know that we shouldn’t fight or tear each other up while the victims haven’t been buried yet,” he told French TV.

“But I want to say that everything that should have been done over the past 18 months was not done.”

Mr Sarkozy wants all those who he described as at risk of radicalisation to be given an electronic bracelet or put under house arrest.

While not everyone agrees with the former president’s prescription, many believe more should have been done to prevent further acts of terror in France.

Earlier this month a French parliamentary committee called for a major overhaul of the country’s intelligence services following the Charlie Hebdo and Bataclan attacks last year.

The committee uncovered multiple failures by intelligence agencies in relation to monitoring the extremists who were involved in the Paris attacks.

At the time, committee chairman Georges Fenech said “Our country was not ready; now we must get ready”.

Nice terrorist did test runs: French media

Already disturbing details are beginning to emerge about the plans conducted in the lead-up to the Nice attack by Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, the man who killed 84 people who were celebrating Bastille Day.

French media are reporting there is CCTV footage that suggests Bouhlel was doing test runs with a truck along the Nice promenade in the two days leading up to the attack.

There are also reports that Bouhlel’s phone contained a text message he sent to a potential accomplice minutes before the attack which said “bring more weapons”.

French police made more arrests on Sunday.

Six people are now being held in connection with the killings.

  15. Massacre of Cops in Baton Rouge
If you didn’t believe Obama wanted a race war before, you better believe it now.

CLEVELAND — In what is becoming a depressingly regular occurrence in the Obama era, police officers were murdered by a black militant in a shootout in Baton Rouge on Sunday, apparently in revenge for the recent police-involved death of black career criminal Alton Sterling outside a Baton Rouge food store.

At time of writing, three police officers had succumbed to the injuries they suffered in Louisiana’s capital city. Another three were wounded.

Of course, murdering police officers has long been encouraged by activists with the Marxist, anti-American, revolutionary Black Lives Matter cult, with the support of the activist Left and financing from speculator George Soros. A year ago Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, who openly advocates the mass murder of whites, called for “10,000 fearless men” to “rise up and kill those who kill us.” Like many radicals, Farrakhan mischaracterizes Black Lives Matter as a rising civil rights movement.

  16. Hillary’s Imam
The Democratic nominee’s close ties to “the Turkish Khomeini.”

The Daily Caller on Wednesday revealed numerous ties between Hillary Clinton and members of the shadowy network surrounding Fethullah Gulen, the controversial Muslim cleric who has been called “the Turkish Khomeini,” and whom the Erdogan regime is accusing of instigating the coup that nearly toppled it on Friday.

According to the Caller, the Gulen camp has been one of Hillary’s numerous sources of cash, in exchange for which she gave access to the President: “a Gulen follower named Gokhan Ozkok asked Clinton deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin for help in connecting one of his allies to President Obama….Ozkok served as national finance co-chair of the pro-Clinton Ready PAC. He gave $10,000 to the committee in 2014 and $2,700 to Clinton’s campaign last year. He is also listed on the Turkish Cultural Center’s website as a member of the Clinton Global Initiative, one of the non-profit arms of the Clinton Foundation. He’s given between $25,000 and $50,000 to the Clinton charity.”

Ozkok wrote to Huma Abedin in 2009: “Please tell Madam Secretary that it would be great if President Obama can include a 15 minutes [sic] meeting with Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary-General of the Organization of of [sic] the Islamic Conference (OIC), in his trip to Turkey.”

Obama did meet with Ihsanoglu, and later invited him to the White House. Ihsanoglu is a longtime foe of the freedom of speech; he once went so far as to liken the Danish cartoons of Muhammad to 9/11: “The Islamic world took the satirical drawings as a different version of the September 11 attacks against them.” He claimed that Muslims were “being targeted by a campaign of defamation, denigration, stereotyping, intolerance and discrimination,” and urged European legislators to criminalize “Islamophobia.”

In March 2011, Ihsanoglu gave a speech to the UN Council on Human Rights, calling upon it to set up “an Observatory at the Office of the High Commissioner to monitor acts of defamation of all religions . . . as a first step toward concerted action at the international level.” Then on April 12, 2011, the UN Council on Human Rights passed Resolution 16/18, with full support from the Obama Administration. This resolution calls upon member states to impose laws against “discriminatory” speech, or speech involving “defamation of religion.” In June 2011, Ihsanoglu said that such laws were “a matter of extreme priority” for the OIC.

  17. Erdogan Retains Power — Stronger than Ever
    With the backing of Obama.

An attempted military coup to overthrow the autocratic Islamist regime of Turkish President Recep Erdogan was soundly defeated. A combination of mass street protests by Erdogan supporters and pushback by military and police forces loyal to his regime caused the coup to collapse in less than 24 hours from when it started. Erdogan’s regime also received unequivocal backing from President Obama and his senior officials, as “the democratically-elected, civilian Government of Turkey.” This, despite the Islamist regime’s repressive policies targeting political opponents and journalists with brute force or imprisonment and his backing of jihadists fighting in Syria and elsewhere.

At least 190 people reportedly died during the melees, including 47 civilians and 104 people involved in the coup. Erdogan’s government wasted no time in cracking down. 2,745 judges and prosecutors whose loyalty has been questioned were detained. At least 2,839 soldiers and officers were arrested. No doubt, there will be show trials of the “traitors” involved in the plot and more extensive purges to come. Erdogan will not hesitate to root out any remnants of possible disloyalty in both the military and the police forces. Political opponents and journalists will suffer even harsher restraints and reprisals.

  18. Baton Rouge Cop-Killer Converted to Islam 3 Years Ago

smaaiyl Brinsley, the first Black Lives Matter cop-killer back in New York, before Dallas, had also gone Islamic. So it’s not too surprising that Gavin Eugene Long, the Baton Rouge cop-killer, had as well.

A Grandview High School classmate tells KCTV5 that Long converted to Islam three years ago. He said Long was quiet and nice.

  19. Brussels attacks: IS published will of Khalid El Bakraoui, Maelbeek terrorist

Furat, a communication channel of the terror group Islamic State (IS) disseminated on Sunday what would have amounted to the will of Khalid El Bakraoui.

He was the terrorist who blew himself up on March 22nd in the metro station at Maelbeek. This is reported in De Morgen and Het Laatste Nieuws on Monday morning on their websites.

El Bakraoui refers to the genocide in Palestine, China and Iraq, during which millions of people perished all because of the West. “The so-called crusaders were, once again allies in wiping out parts of the Muslim religion,” the suicide bomber goes on.

The terrorist specifically speaks of Belgium. “Some countries defend themselves by claiming they only provide logistical support, such as Saudi Arabia or Belgium, which has provided weapons made in its Herstal factory,” he asserts. “Know that the time you could kill Muslims and sleep soundly is at an end. Ours is an era of an eye for an eye, and bloody revenge.”

El Bakraoui expresses his aversion to “pagan” western morals, considering that the West has no respect for women. “Instead of attacking Muslim countries and bringing about female emancipation, you would do better to clean up your pavements (a reference to streetwalking, editors note), your pornographic films and your shampoo adverts.”

The terrorist promises ruthless revenge in a five-page text and calls upon every Muslim to do jihad. Saving the lives of citizens is not necessary, he says as they are as much responsible as the governments that they have contributed to putting in power.

  20. AG Lynch Suggests Baton Rouge Police Massacre Gunman’s Anger was Understandable

Just as after the Dallas police massacre, Obama doubled down on anti-police rhetoric and gun control, Attorney General Lynch is doing the same thing. In her statement she made no mention of racism,

She did however suggest that black nationalist terrorist anger at police was justifiable. “Americans across the county are feeling a sense of helplessness, of uncertainty and of fear. These feelings are understandable and they are justified. But the answer must not be violence.”

Defending the motive while disavowing the violence itself is typical behavior for the political allies of radical terror groups. It’s very telling that Lynch is doing this.

But she did find the time to blame… inanimate objects for the massacre, rather than her own DOJ’s promotion of anti-police memes. “We must take a hard look at the ease with which wrongdoers can get their hands on deadly weapons and the frequency with which they use them.”

    http://www.frontpagemag.com/point/263550/ag-lynch-suggests-baton-rogue-police-massacre-daniel-greenfield

    • I watched Lynch’s non-testimony very carefully.
Hard, cold, only just smart enough to protect #1. Lawyered-up, won’t budge from the simple memorized script. Reeking corruption, hip deep in high crimes and misdemeanors that go all the way back to Bill Clinton.

Reports of her collusion with racist terrorists aren’t at all surprising. She’s cleaned herself up, but she’s got the black radical bona fides they know they can trust. It’s a criminal conspiracy and “Whitey” – more’s the fool – is no longer in charge.

Too many like that ensconced in the upper echelons of the federal bureaucracy. They’ll be impossible to dislodge; we might have to wait them out. The next one on the ladder – already in situ – is just as bad, maybe worse for the sense of entitlement that’s part of the package.

      • You are right on all but the wait for the entrenched infiltrators to die, things are going to get nasty and they will be removed for corruption or some other crime, they will have to be if we are to survive.

“Airstrikes by the U.S.-led coalition targeting areas in Syria controlled by the Islamic State group killed at least 15 civilians on Monday, two Syrian activist groups said.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 15 people died in strikes on the northern Syrian town of Manbij, which is under attack by U.S.-backed Syrian fighters, and six died in a strike on the nearby village of Tokhar. The Local Coordination Committees, another activist group, also said 15 people, including women and children, died in Manbij.

“A Kosovo court has sentenced five ethnic Albanians to jail terms for plans to prepare an Islamic State video.

A Pristina court sentenced them Monday from four to 13 years in prison.

The verdict said the five, who were arrested last year, aimed at “frightening the population, destabilizing and destroying fundamental political, constitutional, economic and social state structures … by preparing terrorist penal acts.”

They wanted to prepare an internet video with the IS logo to show that the group has a presence in Kosovo. A sixth person is at large.

Authorities say that about 70 Kosovo citizens are believed to still be active fighters in Syria and Iraq, though they say that no Kosovo Albanian joined any Islamic extremist group in the two countries last year.”

    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/roadside-bomb-kills-including-mayor-pakistan-40668389

“A Pakistani police officer says a roadside bomb has killed seven people in the country’s northwest, including a former mayor.

Gul Fazil says the former official, Adil Khan of the Sheringal area of Dir district, was returning home Monday with six colleagues after attending a tribal council when their vehicle struck the roadside bomb near the village of Badarkani.

Fazil says the force of the blast threw the vehicle into a ditch and killed all seven.

He says Khan led a branch of the Islamic party of Jamaat-e-Islami and had traveled to the council to try to resolve a local dispute.

No one claimed responsibility for the attack.

Roadside bombings are frequent in Pakistan’s volatile northwest. Many such attacks have been claimed by the Pakistani Taliban.”

    • No one claimed responsibility for the attack.

I did it with mind power. Whenever muslims kill muslims, it’s not the Muslim who does the killing, it is me and my wishes. Just like in sura 8:17.

“France truck attacker Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel had a “clear, recent interest in the radical jihadist movement”, Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said Monday.

Investigations showed the Tunisian had searched on the internet for information on a terror attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando and the Paris suburb of Magnanville — where a police couple were killed last month.

Molins said the attack was “of a premeditated nature.”

Bouhlel staked out the site of the carnage in Nice, the Promenade des Anglais, on several occasions, took selfies there throughout the day of the attack and had reserved the rented truck on July 4th.

Since July 1st, he had also made several internet searches for “horrible fatal accident” and had on his computer violent images “linked to radical Islam”.

Investigations also showed he had grown a beard eight days before the attack, telling people “the meaning of this beard is religious”.

Authorities believe Bouhlel was radicalised very quickly, as he had never shown signs of religious fervour until recently…”

“Police called out to a disturbance at an apartment in Vienna early on Sunday morning shot dead a man after he ran at them holding two kitchen knives.

The incident happened in Brüßlgasse in Ottakring when several neighbours called police after hearing noises and a woman’s screams coming from a nearby flat.

“A man had gone on a rampage and damaged several objects,” police spokesman Patrick Maierhofer told Radio Wien.

As four police officers approach the third floor flat, the man – named as Ismail S. by Österreich newspaper – reportedly came out of the open apartment door holding two knives.

The officers demanded 37-year-old Ismail S. put the weapons on the floor but he refused, and instead “went at the officers with two 20 centimeter large kitchen knives”, according to Maierhofer.

“He continued running, then the shots were fired,” he said…”

“A 24-year-old asylum seeker from Iran made an initial court appearance on Monday to face charges of having raped a 19-year-old woman over the weekend.

The assault took place in the southern Jutland town of Haderslev, where local Danish women earlier this year reported that they had been sexually harassed by asylum seekers.

Police confirmed that the man has sought asylum in Denmark and currently resides in Beredskabscenter Haderslev, one of the 80 asylum centres across the country.

The man’s Monday court appearance was held behind closed doors and a police spokesman told broadcaster TV2 that the suspect would neither speak to police or the court.

South Jutland Police said that the rape occurred at a school building in Haderslev at 3.30am on Saturday.

“We received a report from a concerned resident who had heard yelling and screaming from the school. We therefore quickly dispatched officers to the scene, where a shocked woman was seen coming out from Sønder Otting Skole,” spokesman Anders Hansen told Jydske Vestkysten.

Police said the man was still on the scene when officers arrived.

“He was nearly caught in the act because he stood there practically zipping his pants up when we found him,” Hansen said.

The 19-year-old victim was taking to a nearby hospital where personnel confirmed that she had been raped.

The 24-year-old asylum seeker will be held in detention until August 11th as police continue their investigation.”

“A total of 103 generals and admirals have been detained for questioning across Turkey over the failed coup attempt on July 15, as part of an operation that included crucial military seats, while operations on some army headquarters continued on July 18.

Anadolu Agency said 41 of the detained high-ranking soldiers were jailed pending trial as of the afternoon of July 18.

The commander of the 2nd Army, Gen. Adem Huduti, and its executive officer and Malatya Garrison Commander, Maj. Gen. Avni Angun, were among the arrested ranking generals.

Former Air Force Commander Gen. Ak?n Öztürk, who has been described as the ringleader of the foiled uprising, was also arrested.

As part of the operations on alleged coup attempters, police teams entered the Air Force Academy in the Ye?ilköy neighborhood in Istanbul’s Bak?rköy district on July 18, detaining four soldiers, including a colonel.

According to sources, 25 generals and officers held a secret meeting at the campus and removed surveillance cameras and computer hard disks afterwards.

A cell phone belonging to the academy’s commander, Maj. Gen. Fethi Alpay, was reportedly found in a trash bin.

Alpay was detained and additional technical personnel were dispatched to the academy to remove batteries from planes and helicopters located at the school’s field in order to prevent their unauthorized use.

Sources also said some weapons were removed from the academy’s ammunition depot.

Police and prosecutors also initiated an inspection at the ?ncirlik Air Base in the southern province of Adana, a key spot from where the U.S.-based coalition is conducting operations against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Syria.

The base’s Turkish commander, Brig. Gen. Bekir Ercan, was arrested earlier over alleged involvement in the coup attempt.”

    http://gulfnews.com/news/mena/turkey/turkey-halts-gulen-linked-bank-asya-operations-after-failed-coup-1.1864675

“Istanbul: Turkey halted the operations of Bank Asya, an Islamic lender linked to exiled preacher Fethullah Gulen, as the government widened a purge after a failed coup attempt this weekend.

The ruling came from Turkey’s Savings Deposit Insurance Fund and trading in the lender’s shares will remain suspended, according to a stock exchange statement on Monday.

The bank was founded by followers of the cleric, who President Recep Tayyip Erdogan blames for instigating Friday night’s attempt to overthrow him, and has been embroiled in the feud between the two men since 2013.

The government seized the Istanbul-based lender last year, citing its “unclear ownership structure”, and in March said that it would be liquidated by the end of May unless a buyer could be found.

Erdogan himself attended the founding of the bank in 1996 and was a close ally of Gulen for many years. Asya’s asset base has shrunk from its height of 28.4 billion liras in 2013 (then $13.2 billion) — the year when the two became enemies after Erdogan said Gulen was behind a corruption scandal which he saw as an attempt to depose him.

The bank’s stock had risen 45 per cent this year on speculation of a sale.”

“The loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group who are fighting in Afghanistan are mostly the residents of Orakzai Agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan.

According to the local officials in Nangarhar province, the documents recovered from the ISIS loyalists reveal that they have came from Pakistan to fight under the name of ISIS terrorist group.

In the meantime, some officials in Nangarhar believe that the ISIS loyalists are directly operating under the command of Pakistan’s military intelligence, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).

Provincial governor’s spokesman Ataullah Khogyani has said the documents obtained from the dead bodies and those arrested during the operations in Achin, Kot, Haska Mina and other parts of Nangarhar, reveal that they are originally residents of Orakzai Agency.

Khogyani further added that the intelligence information gathered by the government also reveal that the ISIS loyalists are mostly comprised of Pakistani nationals.

According to Khogyani, the residents of Tajikistan are also fighting alongside the Pakistani nationals for ISIS terrorist group who are mainly deployed after completing training in Pakistan.

This comes as reports suggest at least 30 percent of Kot district is under the control of the loyalists of ISIS terrorist group.

Meanwhile, the Afghan forces as well as the US forces in Afghanistan have increased raids against the loyalists of the terror group in Nangarhar during the recent months.

  37. The Expert Idiocracy is as Dangerous as Islam

They’ve been killing their way across Europe and the USA. They’re the Mohameds, Omars, Syeds, Tashfeens, Tareks, Maliks, Ibrahims, Brahim, Yassins, Rafiks, Khalids and Najims; Messrs. Abaaoud, Abdeslam, El Bakraouis, Abrinis, Abballas (blah-blah). But about them, the Twittersphere yields more plain spoken truths than the expert Idiocracy.

The latest Muslim immigrant to unleash himself on a battered France—“France’s terror log: 230+ killed in attacks since 2015, more than previous century of terrorism,” reports RT—was Tunisian-born Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel.

Write his name down. The American media will soon proclaim sanctimoniously, as they did for Omar Mateen, that they’ll not be mentioning names. Wikipedia already minimizes a researcher’s exposure to the names of the Muslim terrorists who roamed free among us, opting for their professional affiliation: “ISIL supporters,” “suicide bomber,” visiting Moroccan student.

Our avatars of morality in media have announced they would not show the mangled bodies Mohamed left when he plowed his hired lorry into crowds celebrating Bastille Day, killing at least 84 and gravely injuring 202.

Seek out those images. You owe it to the dead. You owe it to those still living in la-la land. You owe it to yourself. As anti-Islam warrior Geert Wilders has warned, “The more Islam we get, the less free our societies.”
