4. A German couple were convicted and sentenced for a Facebook post critical of Germany’s immigration policies. 

A German couple were taken to court and sentenced after they created a Facebook group that criticised migrants and the government’s mass migration policy.

The couple, who live in the German town of Vierkirchen, stood accused of inciting hatred toward migrants via the Facebook group that the pair had created called the “Anti-refugee movement” (AFB). The group is said, by the court, to have been a clear incitement against migrants and as a result both 27-year-old Peter M. and his 26-year-old wife Melanie M. were found guilty of hate speech, Merkurreports.

The statements on the Facebook group did not seem to contain anything overtly nationalistic or Nazi-inspired, but rather expressed deep concern about the situation in Germany relating to mass migration.

(The definition of democracy at its core, is the people’s right to criticize government policies. When its a crime to do so, you have something else. Whatever it is, it is not anything touching a democracy.)

5. 2,000 men ‘sexually assaulted 1,200 women’ at Cologne New Year’s Eve party

(Seven months later, we are still finding out things the German government wanted to hide, to force our opinion of Muslims to fit the narrative. This is historical level totalitarianism.)

At first, there was complete silence from officials. As rumours spread on social media, police had nothing to say about allegations of mass sexual assaults and other crimes carried out on New Year’s Eve in the German city of Cologne.

It was only days later that officials reported that hundreds of women were victims of assault in Cologne, Hamburg and other German cities.

But numbers that are now emerging are likely to shock a country still coming to terms with what happened in Cologne more than half a year ago. According to a leaked police document, published by Germany’s Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper and broadcasters NDR and WDR, the previous estimates have to be dramatically revised — upward.

Authorities now think that on New Year’s Eve, more than 1,200 women were sexually assaulted in various German cities, including more than 600 in Cologne and about 400 in Hamburg.

6. Asylum centre accused of covering up sex abuse

Staff at an asylum seeker accommodation have been accused of a cover-up for allegedly telling the mother of a six-year-old boy not to complain about her child being sexually abused.
