    • Does that mean there is actually a limit to the number of suicide-bomber volunteers in any Islamic society? That there is only so many nutjobs available? Personally, I wouldn’t count on it.

      • While I don’t totally discount the report I do think that this is just ISIS blowing smoke trying to make themselves bigger and stronger then they really are.

  1. KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaican police said Sunday that two U.S. missionaries were found slain in a rural area of the Caribbean island that has long struggled with high rates of violent crime.

In a statement, the Jamaica Constabulary Force identified the two men as Randy Hentzel, 48, and Harold Nichols, 53. Their battered bodies were found in bushes in separate areas of St. Mary parish.

There have been no arrests, and investigators made no comment about a possible motive.

  3. 127 MILLION people with visa-free travel to Europe in EU plans for Turkey and Ukraine (express, May 2, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/666197/EU-Turkey-deal-migrant-crisis-Ukraine

“AROUND 127 million people from Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia and Kosovo are set to gain visa-free travel to Europe as European Union (EU) bureaucrats prepare to sign off the plans this week.

Under the proposals expected to be passed by the European Commission, tourists from the countries will be able to move freely within the 26-member Schengen zone for up to three months.

Turkey, which has a population of 75million, is set to receive visa-free travel for its habitants as part of a controversial deal with the EU to help curb the flow of migrants arriving in Europe.

Under the agreement, all “irregular migrants” arriving in Greece face being sent back to Turkey. For every migrant returned, another Syrian refugee will be resettled from Turkey to the EU, with numbers capped at 72,000.

Turkey has not fully complied with an agreement to pass more than 70 pieces of legislation to qualify for the waiver scheme, which mainly relate to human rights and media freedom.

Ankara has so far met fewer than half of the so-called benchmarks.

But the European Commission is expected to endorse the plan on Wednesday to approve visa-free travel to Europe for Turkey, Kosovo, Georgia and Ukraine….”

Pictures show groups of men and woman huddled up in warm clothing, some lighting cigarettes and others in sleeping bags, after making themselves at home just yards from The Ritz in London’s Green Park.

Despite such close proximity, the luxury of the iconic Grade II listed hotel, built in 1906, is a world away from the everyday existence of those sleeping rough nearby – many of whom are believed to be from Eastern Europe…”

Fellow translators said Nangyalai Dawoodzai was ‘deeply depressed’ about the threat of being thrown out of the UK despite working with British forces in war-ravaged Helmand province, and that he had spoken of suicide.

  6. Does Islamic State have a mole in the MoD? Jihadists’ hackers claim they have a spy as cyber experts say they face a ‘constant threat of insiders’ (dailymail, May 2, 2016)
    http://dailym.ai/1O9oDBd

“Islamic State hackers have claimed that they have a mole working inside the Ministry of Defence. It came as cyber experts in charge of protecting the department’s computer system warned that it faced a ‘constant threat of insiders’.

The terror group threatened to publish intelligence obtained covertly by extremists working for it in Britain that could identify RAF drone operators and put them on a ‘hit list’ for lone-wolf attacks. IS’s warning came as it published the names, addresses and photographs of dozens of US military personnel alleged to be involved in drone strikes against terrorists in Syria and Iraq, urging fighters to kill them.

Britain’s policy is not to name any drone operators or military personnel involved in the fight against IS for fear that they and their families could be targeted. But the MoD has also been forced to send out an internal email to civilian and military personnel warning them not to reveal any details about themselves, their whereabouts or their families on Facebook or anywhere else online. It said they must make sure their families do not publish details about their job either…”

    http://dailym.ai/1VGF2Fc

“A Muslim charity founded by Cherie Blair’s half sister is being investigated after it was unable to account for over £70,000.

Convert Lauren Booth set up Peacetrail in 2013 to advance the Islamic faith, help converts and tackle poverty among Muslim women and children in the UK, Palestine, Pakistan and Africa.

It helps house homeless Muslim women and children in the UK and gives financial help to them here and abroad.

But the Charity Commission has launched a Statutory inquiry in the charity’s finances and management over alleged financial irregularities.

The investigation by the watchdog was triggered after the charity has failed to file accounts for both 2014.

It made a visit to the charity’s HQ in January and found it was unable to provide records on how over £70,000 was spent.

It also identified further concerns about the Peacetrail’s use of a bank account of another, non-charitable, company and how these funds had been used and accounted for.

This account allegedly relates to a company controlled by Ms Booth’s husband Sohale Ahmed….”

The state-owned Anadolu Agency said Monday the strikes took out multiple rocket launchers and gun positions.

“A French national who allegedly conceived and planned last November’s horrific terror attacks in Paris has been promoted to a top position in the so-called Islamic State’s foreign intelligence branch, according to a former ISIS intelligence operative who has since defected.

Abu Suleyman al-Firansi, the nom de guerre of this rising star in terrorist ranks, is believed to be the first West European ever to attain such an elite rank in ISIS—an indication of the emphasis the group is putting on attacks in the West and its reliance on people with European backgrounds to spearhead them.

His precise role and identity are a matter of debate in Western intelligence and counter-terror circles. But French and other U.S. officials who asked not to be named have confirmed his importance to the organization….”

    http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/turkeys-language-body-criticized-for-sexist-definition-of-dirty.aspx?pageID=238&nID=98614&NewsCatID=339

“The Turkish Language Institute’s (TDK) definition of the word “dirty” has drawn a sharp rebuke in Turkey, with the TDK accused of using a sexist description.

Explaining the meaning of the word “dirty,” the TDK gave the example of a “[woman] who is menstruating.”

Popular author Elif ?afak drew attention to the definition on her Twitter account on May 1. “The definition of ‘dirty’ shouldn’t be this in TDK’s dictionary. A separatist, patriarchal mindset shouldn’t enter our dictionaries,” ?afak wrote.

The TDK defined the word “dirty” in three different ways, including “one who is against the values of society.”

This is not the first time that the institute’s definitions have been criticized for sexism.

It previously raised eyebrows with the word “müsait,” a Turkish word of Arabic origin meaning “available.” The TDK also defined the word as a “[woman] who is available to flirt with and who can easily flirt.”

Both the online and printed editions of the dictionary prepared by the TDK contained the same definitions.”

  13. Japan to support Mekong countries with $7 billion over three years

BANGKOK (Reuters) – Japan wants to work with countries in the lower Mekong river basin and will help them improve infrastructure and bolster development with 750 billion yen ($7 billion) in aid over three years, its foreign minister said on Monday.

Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida made the pledge to help the Southeast Asian economies in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, where on Sunday he began a week-long visit to the region in which Japan competes with China for influence.

“Japan would like to work with the countries of the Mekong region to create a framework to support efforts by the Mekong countries in a detailed manner, on a region-by-region basis or on a theme-by-theme basis,” Kishida said in a speech.

Japan announced the three-year plan last year.

China has offered billions of dollars in infrastructure loans and government aid programs to Southeast Asian countries.

Kishida did not mention China in his speech. He is also due to visit Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam.

On Monday, he met Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha, who has led a military government since the army took power in a May 2014 coup. Thailand has drawn closer to China since the coup which many western countries criticized.

Kishida and Prayuth discussed Thailand’s political process, regional terrorism threats and economic challenges, a Japanese official said.

Kishida visited Beijing on the weekend where both China and Japan expressed willingness to improve relations strained over conflicting territorial claims in the East China Sea.

    • Japan is worried about China is is working to build a coalition of prosperous nations that will surround China and hopefully slow down the Chinese desire to expand to include all of the Far East. The left forgets that the vast majroity of the people in the world want nothing to do with their Marxist economic and political ideas. Japan is trying to fill part of the vacuum created by Obama’s withdrawing the US from the world stage.

For more decades then I want to remember the left has been pushing the idea that the US military and foreign policy is the reason for all of the worlds problems. Well we are now seeing what a post America world looks like and people are wanting the US to elect a strong leader that will rebuild our military, get out of the way and let the private sector repair the economy and once again be the dominate power in the free world. The problem is that these actions will take time and the Moslems and the left aren’t going to give us this time.

      • Israeli techies are all over the region too. I know that Bibi and Abe are personal friends, which helps a lot.

        • The nations in that region have learned from the last two Democrat Presidents that unless we have a Republican in the Oval Office they are on their own. This is an uncofortable position with someone the size of China nearby making noises about owning the entire region, thus they look for all of the friends they can. Since Israel makes some of the worlds best weapons they want Israeli friends. Given the way ISIS and other MB supported jihad groups are moving into that region I expect that the Mossad is there and working with the locals to try and block the Caliphate taking control of that region.

This has to make the smaller nations feel real vulnerable, having two groups wanting to conquer you.

“BERN (Reuters) – Swiss authorities were monitoring the social media activity of about 400 possible jihadists who might pose a security threat, the NDB federal intelligence service said on Monday.

Switzerland is not a primary target for Islamist attacks because it is not part of the military campaign against groups such as Islamic State, but the security threat level has been elevated nonetheless, the NDB’s annual report said.

The report showed a photo of a Swiss passport next to an explosive belt posted online by a suspected Swiss jihadist who had traveled to the Middle East, and an Islamic State video showing the Swiss flag among the 60 countries seen as targets….”

  15. FRANCE -More than 1,000 people evacuated from Paris migrant camp

    PARIS (AFP) –

Police evacuated more than one thousand people from a makeshift migrant camp near a Paris metro station on Monday, the third time the camp has been cleared in as many months.

Shortly after 6:00 am, people who had been staying in the tightly packed tents under an elevated section of the Stalingrad station in the north of Paris began boarding buses to take them to reception centres.

The evacuation passed off largely without incident, authorities said.

Although only around 500 people had been counted at the camp the night before, police said around 1,350 people had gathered there Monday to be re-located to accommodation centres, suggesting that migrants from other parts of Paris had swelled their numbers.

Around 150 police officers were involved in the operation to relocate the migrants, mostly from Sudan and Afghanistan.

“We’re happy to leave,” said Moustafa, a 24-year-old Afghan who had been at the camp for a month.

“There were fights every night at the camp.”

Another Afghan, Abdullah, said he hoped to stay in Paris long-term. “That is where the rest of the community is and there is work here.”

He said he had given up hope of reaching Britain, the country which many of his compatriots try to reach from France.

“It’s a good country here,” he said.

Flimsy tents were packed into a small area around the station and the overflowing rubbish bins and piles of mattresses indicated that conditions at the camp had deteriorated in recent weeks.

Jean-Francois Carenco, the prefect of the Ile de France area that includes Paris, said he expected the migrants to request asylum.

“Those who do not request asylum or who behave badly will be expelled,” he said. “France is not a place for disorder and chaos.”

Nearly 80,000 people applied for asylum in France in 2015, but it has been affected less than its European neighbours by the mass influx of migrants over the last 18 months.

The main migrant camp in France, the so-called “Jungle” in the northern port of Calais, now holds around 5,000 people, according to charity workers, but the government says that figure is vastly inflated.

  16. FBI Informs 3,600 New Yorkers They Are on ISIS Hit List
In recent weeks ISIS hackers published the names of soldiers and other Americans, including personal details such as home addresses.

The organization that claims to be the hacking arm of ISIS published a list of 3,600 New Yorkers in a supposed hit list.

American officials played down the seriousness of the threat.

“Every so often, some group…puts out names to scare people. So far, praise God, there’s been no follow-up on any of this,” said New York Senator Charles Schumer, who suggested this was not the work of the Islamic State.

The FBI spent much of the last few days making sure it contacted Americans on the list issued by United Cyber Caliphate.

One woman shared a voicemail she received with The Daily Dot:

“Good afternoon, this is Special Agent [name removed] with the FBI,” said the voice. “Please give me a call back regarding information of yours that might have leaked via a social media portal on an ISIS platform.”

  17. Europe’s Migration Crisis: No End in Sight

    by Judith Bergman
    May 2, 2016 at 5:00 am

Pope Francis, on his recent visit to the Greek island of Lesbos, said that Europe must respond to the migrant crisis with solutions that are “worthy of humanity.” He also decried “that dense pall of indifference that clouds hearts and minds.” The Pope then proceeded to demonstrate what he believes is a response “worthy of humanity” by bringing 12 Syrian Muslims with him on his plane to Italy. “It’s a drop of water in the sea. But after this drop, the sea will never be the same,” the Pope mused.

The Pope’s speech did not contain a single reference to the harsh consequences of Muslim migration into the European continent for Europeans. Instead, the speech was laced with reflections such as “…barriers create divisions instead of promoting the true progress of peoples, and divisions sooner or later lead to confrontations” and “…our willingness to continue to cooperate so that the challenges we face today will not lead to conflict, but rather to the growth of the civilization of love.”

The Pope went back to his practically migrant-free Vatican City — those 12 Syrian Muslims will be hosted by Italy, not the Vatican, although the Holy See will be supporting them — leaving it to ordinary Europeans to cope with the consequences of “the growth of the civilization of love.”

There is nothing quite as free in this world as not practicing what you preach, and what the Pope is preaching is the acceptance of more migration into Europe, and more migration — much more — is indeed what is in the cards for Europe.

At the UN’s Geneva conference on Syrian refugees on March 30, Italy’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paolo Gentiloni, put the total number of asylum seekers into Italy in the first three months of 2016 at 18,234. This is already 80% higher than in the same period in 2015.

According to Paolo Serra, military adviser to Martin Kobler, the UN’s Libya envoy, migrants currently in Libya will head for Italy in large numbers if the country is not stabilized. “If we do not intervene, there could be 250,000 arrivals [in Italy] by the end of 2016,” he said. According to France’s Defense Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, the number is much higher: 800,000 migrants are currently in Libyan territory waiting to cross the Mediterranean.

Already in November 2015, the European Union estimated — in its Autumn 2015 European Economic Forecast, authored by the European Commission — that by the end of 2016, another three million migrants will have made it into the European Union

  18. SWEDEN – Five Migrants Caught Sexually Assaulting Teen Boy In Sweden

Police arrested five migrants Sunday evening for sexually assaulting a teenage boy in an asylum center located in Sweden.

The teenager, who was staying at a migrant center in Årjäng, Värmland, which is near the border with Norway, was brutally assaulted and even threatened with worse acts by these men, The Local reports.

While police originally charged the men with attempted rape, they later decreased the seriousness of the charge down to aggravated assault.

“It was not the kind of violence which is required for a rape,” Tommy Lindh from the local police force told The Local. “There’s a difference between rape and aggravated sexual assault. You can make a person commit sexual acts without using violence, for instance.”

In the interview with The Local, police declined to provide any information on the identities of the men involved in the assault. Police also refused to say the location of the refugee center where the attack took place. The general location of Årjäng is known, but there are multiple asylum centers in that locality.

  19. May 02 2016 – New mass brawl erupts in Turkey parliament

Ruling party and opposition Turkish lawmakers on Monday exchanged punches and hurled water bottles at each other as a new mass brawl erupted in parliament over changes to the constitution, television broadcasts showed.

Parliament’s constitutional committee was meeting to discuss a government-backed proposal to strip MPs of their immunity, after last week’s session also broke up in violence.

Television footage showed lawmakers from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democracy Party (HDP) fighting in the crammed committee room after a heated verbal confrontation.

Several MPs were seen jumping onto tables and then dive-bombing the crowd of opposing lawmakers on the other side.

Others vaulted onto tables to get a better crack at kicking their opponents from above while some MPs sought to calm the tensions.

Water bottles and other objects were hurled across the room in some of the worst fighting ever seen in the Turkish parliament, in a new sign of the severe political tensions in the country.

The fracas prompted the president of the committee to delay the session until later on Monday. The head of the HDP’s faction in parliament, Idris Baluken, dislocated his shoulder in the fighting, reports said.

The constitutional committee was due to discuss the AKP-backed plan to strip lawmakers of their parliamentary immunity.

The government has stepped up efforts to have pro-Kurdish lawmakers prosecuted over their alleged links with militants amid mounting tension in the Kurdish-majority southeast.

  20. Islamic Council of Germany calls for ban on Alternative for Germany party

Germany is now headed down the road to civil war.

In a remarkable interview with the BBC Newshour program on Sunday night, the spokesman for the Islamic Council of Germany (ICG) called for an outright ban on the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party after comparing the AfD to the Nazi Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei; NSDAP) of the 1930s:

BBC: But in a democratic system, if people are voting for them, what can you do?

ICG: We have to teach the people that we have made some experiences from the history, which are very similar and close to the what the AFD is now doing. They are excluding one religious group from the social life. Therefore, they have to be banned from the political system because you cannot deal with the enemies of the democracy by means of the democracy, so the democratic people have to exclude them from all the democratic platform.

BBC: So you want them banned. A party which has won seats in half of regional elections, which has — as you say — between 10 and 15 percent of the vote in opinion polls at the moment — you’d like to see them banned completely, would you?

    ICG: Yes.

The call by the ICG to employ German state powers to ban the AfD came after the AfD adopted policy platforms at its conference stating that Islam is “not part of Germany.”

Germany is increasingly falling under the stranglehold of Islamification pressure by Muslims in the country who seek to bring sharia law into full force.

Back in January, a Muslim group called for the banning of alcohol in Germany, and now the ICG is seeking to ban political parties that hold a negative view of Islam. So-called “sharia zones” have already been declared by Muslims in western Germany, with “sharia police” patrolling the streets under the support of the German court system. A growing number of legal cases are also being decided by sharia law.

One side will ultimately need to give in on its own initiative, or the path toward civil war on German soil is now set in stone.

The AfD is too popular to be quietly dismissed and banned from all political activities, and the Muslim proportion of the population (estimated at 6% in 2010, now undoubtedly closer to 10% after the migration wave over the past two years) is too large and activist to be suppressed without force and is unlikely to leave the country voluntarily.

The problems in Germany are happening as expected. Full democracies are effectively absent in countries with >6% Muslim population, a threshold that Germany has recently crossed.

“(ANSAmed) – BRUSSELS, MAY 2 – The European Commission’s recommendation to extend internal border controls for up to six months will affect Germany, Austria, Sweden, Norway and Denmark and specific borders. All currently have internal border controls in place. For example, for Germany the measure would concern its border with Austria, while for Austria it would affect the borders with Hungary and Slovenia, since the initiative is linked to gaps in Greek management of external borders, sources close to the issue said. However, if migrant flows were to shift – from Greece to Italy, for example – the countries would be able to request controls along their border with Italy. If new migrant flows were to emerge – from sub-Saharan Africa, for example – nations could resume with internal border controls for eight months on the basis of normal regulations. The recommendation will have to be adopted by the European Council by May 13. (ANSAmed).”
