Extraordinary things are happening every day now: Links 2 on Dec. 7 – 2015

1. This US narrative on islam doesn’t play in Canada unless you have a VPN. Its not spectacular though, just the usual, ‘can’t understand the motive’, ‘not part of a network’ even though the motive is obvious and the network clearly exists in two ways. That there is a third person in their cell which is missing and is likely connected to another cell preparing another attack, and that all jihadis are connected via ideology and supported by mosques world-wide.

2. Here is an Islamic State snuff video of the execution of an apostate in Afghanistan. I still don’t think they touch the record of say, Saudi Arabia and its horrors and executions based on trivial reasons and almost certainly using courts that would not be too too concerned about rules of evidence etc.

(As we here at Vlad try and bring up as often as possible, whether at the site or on the monthly blog talk radio appearance, the real problem with sharia is not the oft trumpeted punishments. It is the nature of the crimes and the methods for determining guilt which are at issue. The US executes people but for crimes that involve killing others, and usually multiple others, and the courts spend a fortune determining guilt using reason and evidence. The number of innocent killed by the state is extremely small, and especially compared to the number of guilty who go free or are not executed for crimes deserving of it according to the system. The reverse is the case under sharia anywhere.)

5. Poll: Cruz surges ahead of Trump and Carson in Iowa

(The best news I have seen in a long time)

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has surpassed Donald Trump and Ben Carson in Iowa, a new poll finds, giving the Texas Republican his first lead of the cycle in an early voting state.

Cruz, who has been on a sharp upward trajectory in the polls in recent weeks, takes 24 percent of support in the Hawkeye State, according to a Monmouth University survey released on Monday.

Trump is in second place in the poll, with 19 percent, followed by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), at 17 percent, and Ben Carson, who suffered by far the steepest decline of any candidate, clocking in at 13 percent.

(Remember that Cruz is the man that wants to restart the Holy Land Foundation trials and declare the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group. These single things if passed into law would do more to deal with the problem of islam and its manifestations in the USA than all the bombs dropped on the Islamic State tripled)

6. Fmr. FBI Counterterrorism Agent: We’ve Received ‘Nearly Zero Help’ from U.S. Muslim Community Since 9/11

(Now that is a sharp contradiction to the narrative we are fed. This is a very important story. It is however, perfectly consistent with islamic teaching and sharia as detailed in The Reliance of the Traveler)

Though President Barack Obama claimed that America must “enlist Muslim communities” to combat terrorism in his Sunday evening Oval Office address, former FBI Counterterrorism Agent John Guandolo said on Monday’s Breitbart News Daily (6AM-9AM EST on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125) that since 9/11, “we collectively have received nearly zero help from the Muslim Community.”

Guandolo, who pointed out on Friday’s Breitbart News Daily that a “vast majority” of U.S. mosques and Islamic centers are a part of a much larger “jihadi network,” told host and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon that though Muslim community leaders “certainly give the air as if they are helping,” if one looks at the “major Islamic organizations, the major Islamic centers in the United States,” they have “condemned all of the counter-terrorism policies and they’ve gotten the government to kowtow to them, to turn only to them for advice.”

8. FBI Stats Debunk DC Media’s ‘Muslim Backlash’ Myth

The suspect in the recent mass-shooting at a Colorado Planned Parenthood is an obvious lunatic. Nevertheless, our rotted DC Media has had a field day using those murders to attack all pro-lifers as culpable. Naturally, this Narrative was flipped entirely after last week’s Islamist atrocity in San Bernardino. Although the most recent F.B.I. statistic prove the “Muslim backlash” is a pure myth, the DC Media, ever in pursuit of labeling everyday Americans as racist, relentlessly spread the myth.

9. Lt. Col. Ralph Peters calls President Obama “a total pussy” on live TV

10. Former US congressmen does rant on Islam and dares the new Attorney General to prosecute him

(Hard to disagree with this fine man. And on top of that, his name sake does one of the best guitar solos of all time in Hotel California)

Here is Ted Cruz making basically the same challenge to the AG CORRECTION: This is not the right video of Td Cruz. Still looking for that one

Thank you Richard, M., Xanthippa, Wrath of Khan, Dan F., PP., Johnny U., Nash Montana and all. These are historical times but there is cause for hope. Change is the only guaranteed constant and even Canadians will act when they get sufficiently concerned. Inform your fellow citizen. Challenge irrational authority which oversteps legal boundaries and tries to crush basic rights. Bill 59 will pass in Quebec but it can be made to fail by mass disobedience and then all similar institutions, like the Human Rights Commissions themselves will fail. We can make this happen and remember, when we act in this fashion we are not defying the law, we are obeying it just as Hungarian leader Orban was attempting to obey European Union laws on Refugees when Germany started trying to ostracize him for it. The result? Massive popularity around the globe.

We can fix this thing and we can fix it with a little courage and a little clarity. Ted Cruz for example has already proposed measures that would diminish Islamic influence, a far greater threat than terrorism by orders of magnitude, than all the bombs let loose on the Islamic State.

Disappointing inspirational movie. I was hoping they would all be martyred at the end. What was with all the haram music? I swore I saw one of them smoking too. Pretty easy to see which muslims stink in what muslim noses. Allah still has a major house cleaning ahead if he wants to be our latex salesmen. We are unworthy to interfere in muslim vs. bad muslim cleanup.

    • More than it may appear. I think it’s Qasem Suleimani, as I posted earlier:
      http://vladtepesblog.com/2015/12/04/turkeys-move-into-iraq-puzzles-anti-israel-sentiment-directed-at-12-year-olds-us-govt-still-baffled-by-motive-for-sn-bernardino-links-4-on-dec-4-2015/comment-page-1/#comment-249160

Russia jumped into the fight with both feet very shortly after a visit from Sulemani. Told Putin, “Assad’s gonna fall unless you come in and come in strong.”

      • Russia wants more then to prop up Assad, Putin wants to establish a much larger military presence in that region to make the locals pay more attention to his “suggestions” then they would. It will also offset any renewed American influence in that region. Don’t fall into the trap of narrowing your vision down to just that region and just fighting Assad or propping up a friendly dictator. Putin is playing for much larger stakes and we can’t afford to ignore this fact. Also at the moment we are supporting the people Putin is attacking but this may change after the next President takes office, I know the covert (semi at least) support of ISIS will end and hopefully we will start sending more aid to the Kurds even though this will upset Turkey.

        • Egypt, Jordan, and Israel have no alternative to Putin right now. Russia’s just as worried about its own exposure to terror. There’s a great deal of cooperation in intelligence.

Iran’s good buddy is the only one who might serve as a check on the ayatollahs. Not great, but there you are.

  2. “”Muslim + violence = terrorism. Non-Muslim + violence = hate crime.”

In the aftermath of the Leytonstone stabbing on Saturday night, the above tweet has encapsulated how many feel the coverage of the incident has been warped because of the alleged attacker’s race.

People are comparing it to coverage of an incident earlier this year – in which a white supremacist tried to behead a Sikh man shopping in Tesco – that was widely reported as a racially motivated hate crime, but not as a terror attack.”

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/what-is-a-terror-attack-question-raised-as-people-compare-leytonstone-stabbing-and-tesco-white-power-a6763386.html

This is how the Far-Left trivialise innocent people being attacked on Public Transport. “People are comparing…” Skipping over every murder since Theo van Gough.

    “Muslim + violence = terrorism. Non-Muslim + violence = hate crime.”

‘Two legs good, four legs better.’ Truth as always, followed by a lie.

  3. Ted Cruz taking the lead in Iowa is real good news, i hesitate to say anything because when I come out for some person they end up dropping out.

The fact that Col. Peters lost it like that says that the retired officer corp and probably the serving officer corp are getting real pissed at Obama and his failure to use them to protect the US citizens. If/when push comes to shove don’t expect many officers or NCOs to support Obama.

Ted Cruz gives a great speech, how can anyone not like him?

I am glad the former FBI antiterror man spoke up, I knew this was what was happening but had no real evidence.

    • Let’s hope these indictments put wind in the sails of the LSM.

Col. Peters is dead straight: We’re ANGRY!
It’s Dec. 7 and we’re told to bow to Hirohito?!

      • That is a very good analogy, earlier today I read a post on a blog by one man who was stating that if things continue the way they are going there will be a civil war and one that will be a second civil war and this time the rebels will win. Col. Peters shows why, if he is talking like that how many serving officers are agreeing with him? At times I wonder which will happen first, a civil rebellion or a military coup? So far people seem to be waiting until they see who wins the 2016 election. although the left doesn’t seem to want to wait.

    • I’ve often wondered if the US military isn’t very quietly seething at President Hussein and quietly building toward the unthinkable possibility of mutiny. John Kerry as Secretary of State? Criminy! That’s about ten slaps in the face to the men and women in uniform. And then there’s all the other stuff, like calling Fort Hood “workplace violence” and refusing to acknowledge the government-disarmed soldiers who were killed and wounded in battle. Oh, yeah. And then there’s the fact that he appears to be completely on the side of the enemy in the war against radical Islam.

      • A couple of years ago retired Lt. General Boykin said that he had been approached by some serving officers about leading a coup but that he had informed them that we don’t do things like that in the US. I wonder if he has since regretted his decision?

        • Well, he’s right. They don’t do things like that in the United States. Well…come to think of it…isn’t that sort of what you did with the British back in the Eighteenth Century?
