  1. Austrian integration minister Sebastien Kurz calls for Islamic school closures

Many Muslim parents in Austria are seeking to establish a parallel world, which isolates their children from any non-Islamic influences during their formative years.

Kurz called for an end to “the politics of ignoring the problem and hoping it will go away. Pretending that there is no problem does not help us.”

New details have emerged about the radicalization of a Pakistani woman who along with her American husband killed 14 people in San Bernardino California and pledged allegiance to ISIS.

Tashfeen Malik who moved to the US last year when she married Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, had spent most of her life in Saudi Arabia and relatives say she began to be radicalized in college.

Relatives of Malik in Pakistan, estranged from their wealthy family members who live in Saudi Arabia, said she used to wear Western-style clothing but later switched to more traditional garments such as a burka, which covers the the entire body.

      • I had the opportunity to see if I could book a briefing with Maj. Coughlin to a Canadian security agency. Specifically CSIS actually. The unofficial response I got was that there was no way they would book him. The best shot for that message was to go right to the public with it.

          • True and this is why the left wants to shut down the net, the bloggers are getting the word out to more and more people and everyone that learns the facts is working to see that their friends learn about the massive danger.

      • No way that is going to happen while Obama is in office and after he is out it will take time to weed out the infiltrators he embedded in all US government agencies. Keep working to inform people about the danger and watch your back since Obama and company are going to turn vicious as the election nears and the publics mood turns even more against the Democrats.

          • The ones out here in fly over country that I have contact with are very much against the Islamic conquest and Obama, I don’t know about the cities.

  3. Islamic State says California mass killers were their followers

    https://ca.news.yahoo.com/islamic-state-says-california-killers-14-were-followers-111704711.html

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Reuters) – Islamic State said on Saturday that the married couple who killed 14 people in a mass shooting in California which U.S. authorities are investigating as an act of terrorism were followers of the militant group.

The claim was made in an online audio broadcast three days after U.S.-born Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and his wife Tashfeen Malik, 29, from Pakistan, opened fire with assault rifles on a holiday party for civil servants in San Bernardino, 60 miles (100 km) east of Los Angeles.

The pair, who had left their six-month-old baby daughter with relatives, were killed two hours later in a shootout with police SWAT team members.

Ten out of 71 recruits for the Islamic State terror group arrested in the U.S. since 2014 are women, according to a new report which demonstrates that the role of women in the extremist group’s ranks is increasing.

Since March 2014, 71 individuals have been charged with Islamic State-related activities, 56 were arrested in 2015 alone, a record number of terrorism-related arrests for any year since 9/11 according to the report from George Washington University’s Program on Extremism.

      • Some are.

The results the sadistic guards proved that torture will work if you have a strong enough stomach and someway to check at lease some or the answers. A fact that has been missed by most people. Their actions had the prisoners broken and easy meat for interrogation, unfortunately their actions were unsanctioned and no one followed up with questioning. A lot of people were upset when the female General who was in charge was fired but she lost control of her command, she should have discovered what was happening early on and shut it down before it became a major scandal. 6. Social media companies step up battle against militant propaganda

    http://news.yahoo.com/social-media-companies-step-battle-against-militant-propaganda-202829000–finance.html

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – Facebook, Google and Twitter are stepping up efforts to combat online propaganda and recruiting by Islamic militants, but the Internet companies are doing it quietly to avoid the perception that they are helping the authorities police the Web.

On Friday, Facebook Inc said it took down a profile that the company believed belonged to San Bernardino shooter Tashfeen Malik, who with her husband is accused of killing 14 people in a mass shooting that the FBI is investigating as an “act of terrorism.”

Just a day earlier, the French prime minister and European Commission officials met separately with Facebook, Google, Twitter Inc and other companies to demand faster action on what the commission called “online terrorism incitement and hate speech.”

  7. Argentina arrests Syrians traveling on false Greek passports

    http://news.yahoo.com/argentina-arrests-syrians-traveling-false-greek-passports-224644698.html

BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) – Authorities in Argentina arrested six Syrians who flew into the South American country on false Greek passports, a spokesman for the federal police told Reuters on Saturday, adding that the bogus travel documents were probably obtained in Turkey.

The six, including one minor, were taken into custody at a downtown Buenos Aires hotel on Friday after landing at the city’s Ezeiza International Airport on Thursday, the spokesman said.

A spate of detentions in South and Central America over recent weeks show the region has become a route for Syrians fleeing war in their homeland.

Less than three weeks ago, five Syrian men who had paid smugglers $10,000 each to travel through Brazil, Argentina and Costa Rica were detained in Honduras as they tried to head north to the United States.

  9. Marion Maréchal-Le Pen: the new wonder-girl of France’s far-right

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/france/12035135/Marion-Marechal-Le-Pen-the-new-wonder-girl-of-Frances-far-right.html

She is the new girl wonder of the French far right, a glamorous 25-year-old poised to break down many mainstream conservatives’ qualms about casting their vote for the Front National.

Since she was elected the youngest MP in French parliamentary history, aged 22 three years ago, while a second year Sorbonne law student, Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, niece of Front President Marine and grand-daughter of its obstreperous founder Jean-Marie, has had the fastest learning curve in French politics since Bonaparte’s.

On Sunday, buoyed by the shock of the Nov 13 Islamic shootings in Paris, the list she heads is widely expected to come in first in the Provence-Côte d’Azur region, with polls giving her some 40 per cent of the vote. Even if the third-ranking Socialists drop out of the race to favour her Gaullist opponent in next Sunday’s runoff, Marion, as she’s known, has the most chances to swing into office, giving the Front National a shot at ruling one of France’s most dynamic regions, and the second most populous after Paris.

France’s far right National Front party is expected to make huge gains in Sunday’s regional elections after seizing upon the Paris terror attacks and Europe’s migrant crisis.

The anti immigration, anti EU party will lead the first round of votes in six out of 13 regions, a survey by Ipsos pollsters predicted.

National Front, which does not currently govern any regions, has become increasingly popular since controversial politician Marine Le Pen, 47, took over as leader from her father in 2011

    • France elections: National Front leads in regional polls (BBC, Dec 5, 2015)
      http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35018849

“France’s far-right National Front (FN) appears to have made big gains in the first round of regional elections, estimates show.

They put the FN ahead in at least six of 13 regions in mainland France.

The elections are the first electoral test since last month’s Paris attacks, in which 130 people were killed.

The centre-right Republicans party led by former President Nicolas Sarkozy appeared to be in second place ahead of the governing Socialist Party.

Exit polls from Sunday’s vote predicted that the FN had won 30.8% of the vote, followed by Mr Sarkozy’s Republicans on 27.2% and President Francois Hollande’s Socialists with 22.7%.

FN leader Marine Le Pen, who stood in the northern region of Nord-Pas-De-Calais-Picardie, and her niece Marion Marechal-Le Pen, who stood in Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur in the south, both looked to have won more than 40% of the vote, polls predicted, breaking previous records for the party.

Addressing supporters, Marine Le Pen said it was a “magnificent result” which proved the FN was “without contest the first party of France”.

Sunday’s first round will be followed by a run-off on 13 December.

But Mr Sarkozy said there would be no “tactical alliances” in the second round to try to counter the far-right. In previous years, the centre-right opposition and governing Socialist party have worked together to block the FN.

French regions have wide powers over local transport, education and economic development.

The BBC’s Lucy Williamson, in Paris, says the far right has been steadily gaining votes over the past few years from both left- and right-wing sympathisers through a mix of nationalist and pro-welfare policies…”

  11. Congressman Lynch: 72 Department of Homeland Security Employees On Terrorist Watchlist

    http://wgbhnews.org/post/congressman-lynch-72-department-homeland-security-employees-terrorist-watchlist

Earlier this month, 47 democrats in the house of representatives defied a house veto threat by backing a GOP bill to ramp up screening requirements for Syrian and Iraqi refugees. Congressman Stephen Lynch was among them. He joined Jim Braude and Margery Eagan on Boston Public Radio to discuss the reasoning behind his vote and other congressional matters.

It’s a very simple bill, I know that it’s got subsumed within a larger discussion about immigration policy, but basically, the bill we voted on was a very short bill—four pages in length, basically, and it said that the director of national security shall review the vetting process as being conducted by both the FBI and the department of homeland security. Because of the disastrous results we’ve had so far with the screening process, especially the department of homeland security, I think it was a very good idea to have another set of eyeballs looking at that process.

Back in August, we did an investigation—the inspector General did—of the Department of Homeland Security, and they had 72 individuals that were on the terrorist watch list that were actually working at the Department of Homeland Security. The director had to resign because of that. Then we went further and did and eight-airport investigation. We had staffers go into eight different airports to test the department of homeland security screening process at major airports. They had a 95 percent failure rate. We had folks—this was a testing exercise, so we had folks going in there with guns on their ankles, and other weapons on their persons, and there was a 95 percent failure rate.

  12. French Make MASSIVE Move Against 2,000 Muslims… THIS Is How You Fight Terrorists!

    http://conservativetribune.com/french-make-massive-move/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=WesternJournalismEmail&utm_campaign=DailyBest&utm_content=2015-12-06

All of the old jokes about the French and their pusillanimity about war — you know, the “cheese eating surrender monkeys” quips — look to be a thing of the past, at least after the Paris terror attacks. Now, French authorities are taking on radical Islam, and they mean business.

A two-week campaign of raids against radical Islamist targets by French counterterrorism forces has yielded 232 arrests and 334 weapons confiscations. According to France Info (via Breitbart), 34 of those weapons were “war-grade.”

All in all, counterterrorism authorities have raided 2,235 homes and buildings in the wake of the Nov. 13 attacks. In addition to the weapons, illegal narcotics were found in 165 locations

  13. Research: Islam really is the world’s most violent religion

    http://www.jihadwatch.org/2015/11/research-islam-really-is-the-worlds-most-violent-religion#sthash.6A3JA4gO.dpuf

Together with a number of research assistants, the Danish linguist Tina Magaard spent three years examining the texts of the ten largest religions. The purpose was to investigate whether any of the religions incite violence.

The conclusion was clear: “The texts of Islam are clearly distinct from the other religions texts as they, to a higher degree, call for violence and aggression against followers of other faiths. There are also direct incitements to terror. … Moreover, in the Qur’an there are hundreds of invitations to fight against people of other faiths.”

The verses are in black and white and without mitigating context. One of the verses that deal with non-Muslims is: “So when you meet those who disbelieve, strike their necks until you have inflicted slaughter upon them.” (Qur’an 47: 4).

    http://www.frontpagemag.com/point/260967/ex-muslim-sharia-law-kills-women-practiced-germany-daniel-greenfield

Clearly this woman is an Islamophobe. She’s afraid of being killed by Muslims because of the truths she speaks. Never mind that she’s a former Muslim, the Muslim Brotherhood and its useful Western idiots have been declaring even Muslims who speak critically of Islamists, Islamophobes for years.

A Pakistani-Austrian author who converted from Islam to Catholicism has said that Muslims who refuse to integrate should not be able to live in Europe, and that Sharia law is being openly practised in Austria and Germany.

In an interview with the Kronen Zeitung newspaper Sabatina James (not her real name) said that the teachings of the prophet Muhammad encourage violence. “He called for women to be beaten and for adulteresses to be stoned, for apostates to be executed… if all this violence has nothing to do with Islam, then Mohammed has nothing to do with Islam.”

She added that “there are democratic Muslims, no question – they are not the problem… but the established theology of Islam must deal with the problem of violence against women. But it lacks critical debate.”

She went on to say that “a parallel justice system is being practised, under the motto that either women submit to systematic violence or they will be liquidated.”

The group has established a presence in Yemen since its civil war broke out.

  16. Norway’s call to remove crosses from refugee housing causes backlash

While trying to make the housing conditions more welcoming for refugees, Norwegian immigration authorities have provoked a backlash within the country. Last week, the Norwegian directorate of immigration declared that all buildings to house the newcomers must remove religious imagery. However one Christian community centre, that could host up to one thousand refugees, made a stand against the request and kept the crosses.

  17. The San Bernardino terrorists Gopro cameras are missing. Why?
“…when you consider there is approximately a three hour unaccounted for window between the attack at the Inland Regional Center and the SUV chase that led to the shootout, there’s more than a strong possibility Syed and Tashfeen went somewhere – possibly met with a co-conspirator [terror cell member(s)] for a debrief and/or hand off of the camera footage.”

  18. Essay by Bret Stephens,
Beyond Obama: Advice To The Next President
You might be reminded of the classic exchange in Woody Allen’s movie Play It Again, Sam. The scene takes place in New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Allen spots an exotic-looking brunette staring intently at an abstract painting. Plucking up his courage, he sidles up to her and asks: “That’s quite a lovely Jackson Pollock, isn’t it. What does it say to you?”

In an accented, bored-sounding voice, she answers: “It restates the negativeness of the universe. The hideous lonely emptiness of existence. Nothingness. The predicament of man forced to live in a barren godless eternity like a tiny flame flickering in an immense void with nothing but waste, horror and degradation forming a useless bleak straitjacket in a black absurd cosmos.”
“What are you doing Saturday night?” Allen asks.

    “Committing suicide.”

    “How about Friday night?”

So there we are. How do we move forward? Let me begin by offering a few thoughts on how we got here. And then allow me to play National Security Adviser to the next president and offer some ideas for how best to conduct US future foreign policy.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (TheBlaze/AP) — The FBI has not said what it was looking for in a raid early Saturday at the home next door to where San Bernardino shooter Syed Farook’s family used to live in Riverside, California.

Neighbors said authorities with guns drawn broke windows and used a cutting torch to get into the garage. A neighbor said an old friend of Farook’s lives in the house.

  21. German vice-chancellor accuses Saudi Arabia of funding Islamic extremism in the West

In a highly unusual moment of a Western politician attacking a critical Arab ally, Sigmar Gabriel says the time has come to make it clear to Riyadh the time of looking away is over

The German vice-chancellor has publicly accused Saudi Arabia of financing Islamic extremism in the West and warned that it must stop.

Sigmar Gabriel said that the Saudi regime is funding extremist mosques and communities that pose a danger to public security.

“We have to make clear to the Saudis that the time of looking away is over,” Mr Gabriel told Bild am Sonntag newspaper in an interview.

“Wahhabi mosques all over the world are financed by Saudi Arabia. Many Islamists who are a threat to public safety come from these communities in Germany.”

The allegation that Saudi Arabia has funded mosques with links to Islamist terrorism in the West is not new. But it is highly unusual for a Western leader to speak out so directly against the West’s key Arab ally.

Mr Gabriel is Angela Merkel’s deputy and the leader of the German chancellor’s main coalition partner.

His intervention comes just days after German intelligence issued a rare public warning that Saudi Arabia is at risk of becoming a major destabilising force in the Arab world.

Mrs Merkel’s government quickly distanced itself from the BND intelligence service’s assessment, saying it did not reflect official policy.

But Mr Gabriel’s remarks make it clear there are serious misgivings about the Saudi regime within the government.

Wahhabism, a fundamentalist sect of Sunni Islam that inspired both Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) and al-Qaeda is also the official form of the religion in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudis have long funded the building of Wahhabi mosques around the world to spread the sect.

King Salman has already been widely criticised in the German media for offering to build 200 mosques for Syrian refugees arriving in Germany, even as Saudi Arabia refuses to take in any refugees itself.

Mr Gabriel’s linking of Saudi-funded mosques to Islamic extremism will heighten concerns over the offer.

It is not the first time he has clashed with the Saudi royal family.

On a trip to Riyadh earlier this year he spoke out in support of Raif Badawi, a Saudi blogger sentenced to 1,000 lashes for insulting Islam.

He also intervened to block a deal to build a German arms factory in Saudi Arabia which had been approved by a previous German government.

“Of course we need Saudi Arabia to solve the conflicts in the region,” Mr Gabriel told Bild am Sonntag. “We cannot and must not ignore the country.

“And it does not help to put it in the pillory every day, because that won’t increase its readiness for serious negotiations over Syria.”

The German parliament on Friday voted to deploy up to 1,200 military personnel to support international air strikes against Isil.

German forces will not directly take part in combat missions, but will provide reconnaissance flights and force protection.

Saudi Arabia is to host a conference of Syrian rebel factions opposed to both Isil and the regime of Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian president, next week.

Isil has claimed responsibility for a number of terror attacks in Saudi Arabia.

But there have also been persistent allegations the Saudis supplied arms and funding to Isil and other jihadist groups in the Syrian civil war.

      • Your Father was right, it is meant for everyone and was originally used by a Jew to his Jewish followers, a fact most people forget, Jesus was a Jew and so were his 12 Disciples.

The theater chain is right western civ is based on Christian values which are also Jewish values. If Islam was really a religion descended from Abraham it would also be and Islamic prayer.

  22. Iraqi defence minister asks Turkey to withdraw troops

Iraq’s defence minister said on Sunday he had told his Turkish counterpart that hundreds of Turkish forces deployed inside Iraq near the Islamic State-held city of Mosul had been sent without informing or coordinating with Baghdad, and should be withdrawn.

Khaled al-Obeidi said in a statement the Turkish defence minister had explained the deployment as necessary to protect Turkish military advisers training Iraqi forces in preparation for a campaign to retake Mosul.

But Obeidi said the Turkish force was too large for such a purpose.

“No matter the size of the force entering Iraq, it is rejected,” the statement said. “It was possible to undertake this sort of prior coordination without creating circumstances which contributed to a crisis between the two countries.”

Iraq’s president, prime minister and foreign ministry have all objected to the Turkish deployment in recent days, calling it a hostile act and a violation of international law. Baghdad also summoned the Turkish ambassador to issue a formal protest.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Saturday it was a routine troop rotation and Turkish forces had set up a camp some 30 km (19 miles) northeast of Mosul at the Mosul governor’s request, and in coordination with the Iraqi Defence Ministry.

A small number of Turkish trainers were already at the camp before the latest deployment to train the Hashid Watani (national mobilisation), a force made up of mainly Sunni Arab former Iraqi police and volunteers from Mosul, which Islamic State militants seized in June 2014.

  23. ‘YouAintNoMuslimBruv’ Twitter trend after London stabbing

YouAintNoMuslimBruv became Britain’s top trending Twitter hashtag Sunday after a passer-by shouted the dismissive remark at a knife-wielding man in a London Underground station.

Police are treating Saturday’s attack at Leytonstone Tube station in east London as a “terrorist incident”.

In video footage, an onlooker is heard shouting “You ain’t no Muslim, bruv” as the 29-year-old suspect, reeling after being hit with an electric stun gun, is pinned down and handcuffed.

The dismissive retort was the top trending hashtag in both London and the whole United Kingdom.

Twitter user Arcanequaint called it “the most British response to a terrorist attack ever”.

Another called Russburt wrote: “One man does more for community cohesion with one sentence than any government initiative.”

Another called Muthla said: “Best trend I’ve seen — YouAintNoMuslimBruv regarding horrific attack in Leytonstone. Gotta love London for the trend!”

Sociologist Craig Morris wrote: “One sentence pushes away extremists and unites everyone else. This is our stance now. Great.”

Chris Lowndes said: “YouAintNoMuslimBruv is just perfect — real, inclusive, undermines terrorist cause.”

Twitter user Jackie Nn wrote: “youaintnomuslimbruv — so proud to be a Londoner. True Muslims don’t try and kill innocent bystanders. Peace to true Muslims.”

The male voice heard on the amateur mobile phone footage said: “You ain’t no Muslim, bruv! You’re no Muslim, bruv! You ain’t no Muslim!”

Onlookers also shouted “Drop it, you fool”, referring to the knife, and “Who is this idiot?”.

One eyewitness told the BBC that people barracked the suspect as police led him away and one person threw a bottle at him.

Twitter user Kellie O’Gara wrote: “Can we make Youaintnomuslimbruv the new battle cry against terrorism? No guns, no bombs, no threats. Just those five words.”

Writer Will Black said: “This should be played on tannoys across Daesh (Islamic State) gang areas and dropped on posters from planes.”

  24. Hillary Clinton:I Don’t Say ‘Radical Islam’ Because It ‘Doesn’t Do Justice’ to Good Muslims

Hillary Clinton: I Don’t Say ‘Radical Islam’ Because It ‘Doesn’t Do Justice’ to Good Muslims

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton really doesn’t like using the term “radical Islam.”

This Week host George Stephanopoulos called out the former U.S. Secretary of State for not using the phrase during a discussion of the San Bernardino shooting and ISIS.

“Isn’t it a mistake not to say it plain? That the violence is being pushed by radical elements in their faith?”

“Well that’s another thing,” said Clinton. “‘Radical elements who use a dangerous and distorted view of Islam to promote their jihadist ambitions.’ I’m fine with that. I say it all the time.”

Stephanopoulos pressed further, asking Clinton what the problem was with “radical Islam” as a term of use. After all, the adjective “radical” simply modifies “Islam” in order to distinguish the phrase from “regular” Isla… *falls asleep*

“The problem is, that sounds like we are declaring war against a religion. That to me is number one, wrong,” said Clinton. “It doesn’t do justice to the vast numbers of Muslims in our own country and around the world who are peaceful people.”

The presidential candidate added, “It helps to create this clash of civilizations that is actually a recruiting tool for ISIS and other radical jihadists.”

  25. Trump: Go After Terrorists’ Wives Because They ‘Know What’s Happening’

On CBS’ Face the Nation, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said his administration would target the wives and families of known and suspected terrorists.

Trump compared the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center to Wednesday’s San Bernardino shooting, saying that he would have gone after the wives of the 9/11 terrorists.

“At least I would certainly go after the wives who absolutely knew it was happening, and I guess your definition of what I’d do, I’m going to leave that to your imagination,” he said.

As for San Bernardino, Trump said he didn’t believe shooter Syed Farook‘s sister Saira Khan, who previously told the press she had no idea why her brother and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, did what they did.

“I probably don’t believe the sister,” Trump told Face the Nation. “I would go after a lot of people and find out whether or not they knew. I’d be able to find out. Cause I don’t believe the sister.”

    • He is right the families of the terrorists have to know what they are planning and could be prosecuted as accessories before the fact.

      • We’ll probably end up with internment camps.
We won’t have the resources to cope properly according to our civilian code of law. It never should get to that point, but that’s where we’re headed.

        • That we are and there will probably be rather hurried trails to see which Moslems are allowed to remain in the internment camps and which have to be deported to some Moslem country.

  26. Shooter’s Mother Active In US Branch Of Pro-Caliphate Islamic Group

Rafia Farook, the mother of San Bernardino terrorist Syed Rizwan Farook, is an active member of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a Muslim organization that promotes the establishment of a caliphate and has ties to a radical Pakistani political group called Jamaat-e-Islami.

Farook’s affiliation with ICNA was revealed on Friday when MSNBC and other new outlets scoured the Farooks’ apartment in Redlands, Cal. An MSNBC reporter found a certificate of appreciation presented to Safia Farook last summer by ICNA’s sisters’ wing.[…]

  27. Confused in San Bernardino
After watching CNN coverage of the San Bernardino shootings, I’m very confused.

From what I understand, some guns went to a “holiday party” and shot dozens of people, killing 14 of them. The guns were accompanied by two people with mysterious motivations, but the clear problem was the lack of gun control, which would have prevented the guns from carrying out the killings.

Also, the two people accompanying the guns might have undergone a procedure known as “radicalization,” which was undefined, but might have something to do with a visit to Saudi Arabia and some telephone calls with people who are being watched for “terrorism,” or perhaps it had something to do with discussions between the two of them.

The President and the leading Democratic contender for the Presidency in 2016 both forthrightly denounced the guns and called for gun control, while very responsibly refusing to speculate on the motives of the guns’ human companions.

  28. Had Erdogan planned the downing of the Russian Su-24 for over six weeks?

    From Sputnik:
    http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20151206/1031323963/wikileaks-fuatavni-turkey-erdogan-su24-russia.html

“Erdogan is worried about the outcome of the upcoming elections and is contemplating bringing down a Russian aircraft, the anonymous Twitter user, who goes by the name of Fuat Avni, posted on October 11.

    . . .

?WikiLeaks retweeted an article that mentions Fuat Avni’s exposé, asking, “Did Turkish ‘deep throat’ reveal Russian jet shootdown plan six weeks ago?”

?Fuat Avni, who is often sharing accurate insider information exposing Erdogan and his government, is said to have claimed that Erdogan was the one to give order to shoot down the Russian bomber over Syria under the false pretext that the aircraft violated Turkish airspace.

According to information WikiLeaks shared on Twitter, Erdogan had been trying to mobilize his voters prior to snap general elections, which were held on November 1, by dramatically escalating tensions with Russia. Interesting fact: The ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), which was founded by Erdogan, managed to regain parliamentary majority, which it lost five months earlier.

  29. And predictably enough…

“After the recent Paris terror attacks, the French government is proposing to forbid and block the use of the Tor anonymity network, according to an internal document from the Ministry of Interior seen by French newspaper Le Monde.

That document lays out two proposed pieces of legislation, one around the state of emergency, and the other concerning counter-terrorism.

In the former, the French government is considering to “Forbid free and shared wi-fi connections” during a state of emergency. This comes from a police opinion included in the document: the reason being that it is apparently difficult to track individuals who use public wi-fi networks.”

  31. Turkish FM slams Russia’s missile ‘provocation’ in Bosphorus

A Russian warship passed through Istanbul’s Bosphorus en route to the Mediterranean on the morning of Dec. 6. One soldier was seen in footage of the boat passing holding a ground-to-air missile, drawing an angry reaction from Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavusoglu.

The soldier held the missile on his shoulder in the shooting position during the passing of Russia’s “Caesar Kunikov” warship.

“This is provocation, this is a harassing passage,” Çavusoglu told reporters on Dec. 6 in his hometown Antalya.

“The Russian warplanes’ violation of our airspace and the passing of the Russian warships through the Bosphorus are two very different things,” he added, referring to the Montreux Convention regarding the regime of the Bosphorus and Dardanelles straits.

“The passages should be made in accordance with the international agreements, whether it is a Russian ship or of another nationality, the rules have long been determined,” Çavusoglu said.

He added that the “necessary answer will be given in situations deemed to be a threat.”

    =============================================

REUTERS – Turkey accused Russia of a “provocation” on Sunday after a serviceman on the deck of a Russian naval ship allegedly held a rocket launcher on his shoulder while the vessel passed through Istanbul.

Relations have deteriorated sharply since Turkey last week became the first NATO member in more than half a century to down a Russian plane, which it said had violated its airspace while flying sorties over Syria. The pilot was killed.

The NTV news channel broadcast photographs that it said showed a serviceman brandishing a rocket launcher on the deck of the landing ship Caesar Kunikov as it passed on Saturday through the Bosphorus Strait, which bisects the city of Istanbul. It said the ship was believed to be en route to Syria.

“For a Russian soldier to display a rocket launcher or something similar while passing on a Russian warship is a provocation,” Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told reporters, according to the Hurriyet news site. “If we perceive a threatening situation, we will give the necessary response.”

The Bosphorus offers the only passage to the world’s oceans for the Russian Black Sea fleet. A World War One-era treaty obliges Turkey to allow all ships to pass during peacetime.

Turkey had considered Russia a strategic partner as its main energy supplier, despite deep differences over Syria. But since Turkey shot the plane down, Moscow has introduced economic sanctions including a ban on Turkish foods and other products worth as much as $1 billion.NTV said three NATO frigates with Canadian, Spanish and Portuguese flags had been moored in Istanbul as the Caesar Kunikov passed through.

“The Federation of Hungarian Jewish Communities (Mazsihisz), Hungary’s largest Jewish faith organisation, has appealed to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for support and the implementation of further security measures over “the appearance of radical Islam in Europe”.

“Although we closely cooperate with the competent domestic authorities, we are urging further security measures and have directly turned to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán over their implementation”, Mazsihisz leader András Heisler told the daily newspaper Magyar Id?k. These are necessary due to recent terrorist attacks, he said. “We cannot allow extremists to break the thriving that characterises the Jewish community in Hungary and especially Budapest that has been branded by many as a Renaissance”, Mr. Heisler stressed.”

  33. UK – School dinner lady sacked for racism after ‘liking’ Facebook post of a dog in a ‘burka’

A DINNER lady who worked at a primary school for 20 years has been sacked for ‘liking’ a picture of a dog clad in a mock burka.

Nita O’Dell said she was “stunned” when she was branded a racist after sharing the photo of a dog wearing a makeshift version of the Muslim clothing with her friends on Facebook.

A caption underneath the image also read: “Guide dog for a Muslim woman. It’s called a Barka.”

Nita, 54, was hauled before the headteacher at Billesley Primary School in Birmingham in June after a screengrab of her Facebook page was sent in anonymously.

The dinner lady was suspended on full pay before being sacked in September for gross misconduct.

Now the grandmother-of-seven says she faces a bleak Christmas having just lost an appeal against the school’s decision.
