  1. Malaysia arrests three suspects in connection with Bangkok blast

Malaysia has arrested three suspects in connection with the investigation into a bomb blast in central Bangkok last month that killed 20 people, police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said on Monday.

Two Malaysians and a Pakistani national were arrested and were assisting with the investigation, Khalid told reporters.

“We believe the suspects can help in the investigation… our arrest was made to assist the Thai police in the Thai bombing investigation,” he said. “Malaysian and Thai police are working closely in cooperation.”

No group has claimed responsibility for the Aug. 17 attack at the Erawan Shrine shrine in Bangkok, which killed 20 people, including 14 foreign tourists, among them seven from Hong Kong and mainland China.

Thai police have been heavily criticized over the investigation and over statements from top officials about possible perpetrators, motives and information extracted from suspects which have been contradictory, speculative and often cryptic.

Khalid said the Pakistani suspect is male while one of the local suspects is female and the other is male. He said there were no plans to move the suspects to Thailand yet.

Khalid also said Malaysian police were unsure if the main suspect was in Malaysia. The Thai investigation unearthed a lead earlier this month that suspected bomber may have crossed Thailand’s southern border into Malaysia.

“A key suspect in August’s deadly Bangkok shrine bombing has fled to Turkey, Thai police say.

They believe Abudusataer Abudureheman, also known as Ishan, organised the bombing, which killed 20 people.

The 27-year-old from China’s Xinjiang province is thought to have travelled to Istanbul at the end of August.

Earlier Malaysian police announced the arrests of three people suspected of helping the bombers flee. Thai police have already arrested two suspects.

Over the weekend, an arrest warrant was issued for Mr Abudureheman. Police say he left Thailand for Bangladesh on 16 August, one day before the bombing.

“He departed Dhaka on 30 August for Delhi… From Delhi, he continued his travel to Abu Dhabi, and from Abu Dhabi he travelled on 31 August to Istanbul. This is his final destination,” a police spokesperson said.

No group has said it carried out the attack at the Erawan shrine on 17 August, but Thailand has alleged that a network that includes foreigners was behind the bombing…”

  3. The charts and explanations get real technical but they spell a very nasty picture, they also cast doubt that the central banks can stave off a major crash much longer. They have delayed the crash for far longer then I thought they could, devaluing the worlds currencies will not work for the long term and there is a lot of doubt that they will work any longer in the short term.

US interest rate rise could trigger global debt crisis

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/11858952/BIS-fears-emerging-market-maelstrom-as-Fed-tightens.html

Debt ratios have reached extreme levels across all major regions of the global economy, leaving the financial system acutely vulnerable to monetary tightening by the US Federal Reserve, the world’s top financial watchdog has warned.

The Bank for International Settlements said the wild market ructions of recent weeks and capital outflows from China are warning signs that the massive build-up in credit is coming back to haunt, compounded by worries that policymakers may be struggling to control events.

“We are not seeing isolated tremors, but the release of pressure that has gradually accumulated over the years along major fault lines,” said Claudio Borio, the bank’s chief economist.

“A top Iranian official has lashed out at Washington as well as its European and regional allies for sponsoring terror groups, dismissing the coalition purporting to fight the Takfiri Daesh terrorist group as a “show.”

“Continued weapons aid to and training for terrorists have enabled terror groups to grow; and the continuation of this trend poses a grave danger to all world countries,” said Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) in a meeting with Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister Valentin Poriazov in Tehran on Sunday.

The senior parliamentarian decried the policy of categorizing terrorist groups as “good” and “bad,” saying, “The language of terrorists is violence, and the nature of all terrorist groups is [one of] killing innocent people.”

Foreign-backed militant groups, including Daesh, have been operating in regional countries, mainly Syria and Iraq. The terrorists have been engaged in acts of violence, and committing heinous crimes to expand their sphere of influence and strike terror into the hearts of the people…”

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-34241882

“Taliban militants have stormed a jail outside the central Afghan city of Ghazni, killing at least four policemen and freeing more than 350 prisoners. The deputy governor of Ghazni province Mohammad Ali Ahmadi said one militant blew himself up at the prison gates, allowing others to force open cells. The attackers were well-organised and wearing uniforms, he said. It is the third time since 2008 that hundreds of Taliban inmates have escaped from an Afghan prison.

Both Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid and the deputy governor confirmed that three of the attackers had been killed. The deputy governor said seven police officers were injured and only 80 prisoners were left inside the prison. Both Mr Ahmadi and the Taliban said the escapees included a number of local Taliban commanders, as well as many other fighters.

Of those freed, the interior ministry said 148 had been jailed for attacks on security forces, while 207 had been convicted for other crimes. Only three prisoners had been recaptured so far.
Mr Ahmadi did not reject the possibility the attackers had had help from inside the jail…”

Prime Minister Viktor Orban told border police on Monday that “illegal border crossings will no longer be misdemeanors but felonies punishable with prison terms or bans.”

He added “punishment for human trafficking will be so severe that it will be really deserved by those who do business with the life and fate of others.”

Moscow (AFP) – Russia on Monday launched its largest military exercises of the year, Centre-2015, involving some 95,000 soldiers including ground troops, navy and airforce units.

he long-announced war games are “the most large-scale drill of 2015,” the defence ministry said.

Russia has recently intensified snap checks of its military might, testing its capabilities from the Arctic to the Far East as relations with the West have plunged to a post-Cold War low over the Ukraine crisis.

Centre-2015 takes place at 20 sites across Russia’s central military district, which reaches from the Volga River to the Ural mountains and Siberia in the east, while also including far northern Russia.

    • Given the current world situtation we have to wonder why the manuever, are the Russian troops just testing the readiness of their military? Getting ready for an invasion of Ukraine? Checking which units are ready to ship to Syria?

Your guess is as good as mine.

  13. Russian Flights Over Iraq and Iran Escalate Tension With U.S.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/15/world/middleeast/russian-flights-over-iraq-and-iran-escalate-tension-with-us.html?_r=0

WASHINGTON — Russia is using an air corridor over Iraq and Iran to fly military equipment and personnel to a new air hub in Syria, openly defying American efforts to block the shipments and significantly increasing tensions with Washington.

American officials disclosed Sunday that at least seven giant Russian Condor transport planes had taken off from a base in southern Russia during the past week to ferry equipment to Syria, all passing through Iranian and Iraqi airspace.

Their destination was an airfield south of Latakia, Syria, which could become the most significant new Russian military foothold in the Middle East in decades, American officials said.

    • Obama is giving Putin and Iran a cheap victory, he is making demands and drawing lines he doesn’t have the power to back up, this is moving the world closer to a major war because at some point he is going to say something that has to be backed up and we don’t have the military force to back up any of his demands.

  14. Turkish magazine raided, copies seized for mock Erdogan selfie

    https://ca.news.yahoo.com/turkish-magazine-raided-copies-seized-mock-erdogan-selfie-121751647.html

ANKARA (Reuters) – Turkish police raided a magazine early on Monday over a mocked-up “selfie” of a smiling President Tayyip Erdogan with the coffin of a soldier – an allusion to comments that families of soldiers killed by Kurdish rebels could be happy about their martyrdom.

An Istanbul prosecutor’s office banned distribution of the latest edition of Nokta magazine and ordered raids on its offices over charges of “insulting the Turkish president” and “making terrorist propaganda”, after the cover was published online, the magazine said in a statement.

“Our cover that prompted the police raid may be harsh, disturbing or even cruel. (But) these are not crimes for a media institution, this is our form of speech,” the statement said.

  15. Other State Officials Say No to Same-Sex Marriage

    http://www.wsj.com/articles/other-state-officials-say-no-to-same-sex-marriage-1442161531

The spotlight will shine once again Monday on a Kentucky county clerk as she prepares to return to work after being jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. But Kim Davis isn’t the only one causing a stir.

Local officials in several other states also are refraining from granting licenses or performing ceremonies, drawing stepped-up scrutiny from gay-marriage supporters.

In North Carolina, all four magistrates in rural McDowell County have recused themselves from performing civil wedding ceremonies for any couples. The moves are allowed under a state law passed in June that allows certain public officials to avoid marriage duties if they have religious objections. So far, 32 magistrates across the state—about 5% of the total—have done so, according to the state Administrative Office of the Courts.

    • The non religious have touched off a fire storm with this (in my opinion illegal) court decision, they are attacking the foundations of religious liberty and are so arrogant and stupid to understand what they are doing. We are going to see many more officials defying the court on this decision So far Kim Davis is the only one going to jail but there will be more.

I said the decision was illegal because the , Constitution spell out what rights that the Federal Government has, no where does it say the Federal Government has the right to decide what is or isn’t marriage therefore under the 10 amendment this right is the right of the states. I wish more lawyers and Judges had knowledge enough to recognize this fact and stop the judicial overreach.

It comes as EU interior ministers hold talks in Brussels on the crisis.

Hungary also completed its fence along the border with Serbia on Monday, and blocked a railway line used as the main crossing point by migrants.

The BBC’s Fergal Keane at the border said people were being directed to an official registration point.

  17. Robots are going to steal the jobs of chefs, salespeople and models, researchers say as they unveil full list of likely robot professions

    http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/robots-are-going-to-steal-the-jobs-of-chefs-salespeople-and-models-researchers-say-as-they-unveil-full-list-of-likely-robot-professions-10499771.html

Scientists have created a huge, in-depth analysis of what jobs are under threat from robots — with salesmen, chefs and even models all in the firing line.

Researchers have assembled a full list of all the things that robots are good and bad at, and so what jobs they are likely to take. In all, about 35 per cent of jobs are likely to have been taken on by robots in the next 20 years, the researchers said.

Some professions — such as therapists, personal trainers and teachers — are safe from the coming robot apocalypse. But those that require repetitive skills, the manipulation of data or manual entering of information could see their jobs taken away.

    • Not steal because the left and their continued push for higher and higher wages are driving the businesses to use robots because they are cheaper. When they can’t make a profit the business closes.

FRANKFURT (Reuters) – Deutsche Bank aims to cut roughly 23,000 jobs, or about one quarter of total staff, through layoffs mainly in technology activities and by spinning off its PostBank division, financial sources said on Monday.

That would bring the group’s workforce down to around 75,000 full-time positions under a reorganization being finalised by new Chief Executive John Cryan, who took control of Germany’s biggest bank in July with the promise to cut costs.

Cryan presented preliminary details of the plan to members of the supervisory board at the weekend. A spokesman for the bank declined comment.

HONG KONG (Reuters) – Two Hong Kong students who rose to fame during pro-democracy demonstrations that angered Beijing last year were charged on Tuesday with obstructing police during a protest earlier in the year.

The charges were related to a protest outside the office of China’s top official in the city, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, on June 11 last year.

Joshua Wong, the thin, bespectacled head of student activist group, Scholarism, and Nathan Law, secretary general of the Hong Kong Federation of Students, were charged at a police station in Hong Kong, then released on bail and told to report to court on Friday, according to police documents they showed reporters.

VIENNA (Reuters) – The two-decade-old era of border-free travel in Europe was unraveling on Monday as countries imposed controls on their frontiers in response to an unprecedented influx of migrants.

Germany’s surprise decision to restore border controls on Sunday had a swift domino effect, forcing neighbors to shut their own frontiers as thousands of refugees pressed north and west across the continent.

Austria dispatched its military to guard its frontier with Hungary after thousands of migrants crossed the border on foot overnight, filling up temporary accommodation space in tents and railway station car parks.

RUCKERSVILLE, Va. (Reuters) – A group of major automakers accounting for more than half of U.S. auto sales will make automatic emergency braking standard on new U.S. vehicles in one of the industry’s biggest auto safety moves since it embraced technology to prevent rollovers more than a decade ago.

The car makers, which accounted for 57 percent of car and light truck sales in the United States last year, said Friday they will work with regulators and the insurance industry to roll out collision avoiding braking technology across their lineups over the next few years.

The automakers are Volkswagen and its luxury car division Audi, BMW, Ford Motor Co, General Motors Co, Mazda Motor Corp, Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz, Tesla Motors Inc, Toyota Motor Corp and Volvo Car Group.

  23. Afghan Taliban storm jail, release hundreds of prisoners

    http://www.oann.com/afghan-taliban-storm-jail-release-hundreds-of-prisoners/

GHAZNI, Afghanistan (Reuters) – Taliban insurgents stormed a prison in Afghanistan on Monday, killing police and releasing more than 350 inmates, including nearly 150 deemed a threat to national security, and then attacked troops rushing to help, officials said.

The latest Taliban prison raid, on the outskirts of the central city of Ghazni, comes after setbacks for the government in different parts of the country and deadly attacks in Kabul which have dashed hopes for peace talks.

A Reuters reporter outside the mud fort prison in Ghazni, 120 km (75 miles) southwest of the capital, Kabul, saw the bodies of two men who appeared to be suicide bombers and a blown-up car that had apparently been used to destroy the main entrance.

    • Sept 14 2015 -Twin bombings kill 20 in Syria’s Hasakah

DAMASCUS, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) — At least 20 people were killed and more than 70 others wounded on Monday in twin suicide bombings that rocked Syria’s northeastern province of Hasakah, state news agency SANA reported.

A woman and her two children were among the killed, when two explosions rattled the neighborhoods of Khashman and Mahatta in Hasakah, said SANA.

The first blast was caused by a suicide bomber who detonated his explosive-laden vehicle in Khashman on the northern outskirts of the city. The bombing killed and wounded many people, some of whom were women and children with severe injuries.

Half an hour later, a suicide bomber driving an explosive-packed water tanker detonated himself at the Mahatta neighborhood.

Both blasts have left huge property losses.

The state-run TV also aired footage of the blast sites, showing scenes of destruction and carnage.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the first explosion rocked a checkpoint manned by Kurdish fighters, while the second one was caused by a booby-trapped vehicle that tore through an outpost of the pro-government National Defense Forces in central Hasakah.

The state-run media outlets said the bombings were carried out by terrorists, without specifying a certain group. The province has witnessed battles as the Islamic State (IS) militants attempted to infiltrate.

On June 25, IS militants unleashed a major offensive, storming the southern part of Hasakah. At the end of July, the Syrian army and Kurdish fighters managed to drive the IS militants out of the province.

or many Americans, a coup in which the military seizes control of the federal government is starting to seem like a refreshing alternative to the existing administration, according to a new poll.

Conducted by YouGov, a new survey has found that 29% of Americans could imagine a scenario where they would support a military takeover in the United States. A total of 41% could not imagine supporting such an event. And so while the coup-supporters are still decidedly in the minority, the fact that the option polls so highly is remarkable. This translates to 70 million Americans who are potentially ready to support a coup.

The survey results reveal a clear ideological divide. Republicans were more than twice as likely to rate a potential coup more highly than Democrats, with the two parties polling 43% and 20%, respectively.

    • Charlie Hebdo Mocks The Death of Syrian Child Aylan Kurdi

While newspapers across the world have paid tribute to Aylan Kurdi, the Syrian toddler who became the symbol of the refugee crisis, Charlie Hebdo has featured cartoons of the toddler, mocking his death.

Eight months after the terroristic attack that hit its headquarters in Paris in January, the French satirical magazine is back to the spotlight with a new controversial set of cartoons.

Hiding behind the freedom of speech, Charilie Hebdo made fun of the death of Aylan Kurdi, who was found dead recently on a Turkish beach, in two offensive drawings.

Entitled “So Close to His Goal”, the first drawing features Aylan lying face down on the sand near a publicity board of a 2-for-1 McDonald Happy Meal saying what translates into: “Two menus of children for the price of one.”

The second cartoon is entitled “The Proof that Europe is Christian.” It shows the little child drowning in the waters. On the left side, a man, supposedly Jesus, stands on the water while saying “Christians walk on waters… Muslims kids sink.”

The move would make France – which together with Germany is the most powerful country in the European Union – the latest entrant to the U.S.-led coalition bombing Islamist rebels.

Hollande says French air strikes will be needed against ISIS in Syria

PARIS – President Francois Hollande said on Monday French air strikes against Islamic State militants in Syria would be necessary.

“We are part of the coalition in Iraq (against Islamic State),” Hollande said in a news conference with his Nigerian counterpart Muhammadu Buhari. “We started reconnaissance flights (in Syria) to enable us to consider air strikes if they were necessary and they will be necessary in Syria.”

Hollande last week said Paris was beginning flights over Syria given the expansion of Islamic State over the last year and the threat its militants could have on French interests at home and abroad.

Most French support ground operations against Daesh in Syria

A majority of French people support sending ground troops to fight the Islamic State in Syria, an opinion poll revealed yesterday.

According to an Institute Français D’opinion Publique (IFOP) poll for Le Journal du Dimanche newspaper some 56 per cent of those questioned said they support a ground operation in Syria, while 43 per cent opposed it, while one percent were unsure.

Some 64 per cent of the centre-right voters supported the ground operation while 59 per cent of the centre-left said they support their country’s ground intervention.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said: “If France launches airstrikes on Islamic State targets in Syria, it would take place under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, in other words, in self-defence.”

French fighter jets participate in international coalition airstrikes against Islamic State sites in Iraq, but the government refuses to participate in Syria.

The poll was conducted by telephone on September 11-12 among 1,005 people over the age of 18 and had a margin of error of 1.8 per cent.

  27. Facebook pledges to combat racism on German platform

Facebook pledged Monday to combat racist hate speech on its German-language network amid a spike in xenophobic comments online as Germany faces an unprecedented influx of refugees.

The US social media network said it would encourage “counter speech” and step up monitoring of anti-foreigner commentary, as company representatives met German Justice Minister Heiko Maas.

With Germany facing a record influx of refugees and a backlash from the far right, social media like Facebook have seen an upsurge of hateful, xenophobic commentary.

Facebook said it would work with organisations in Germany “to develop appropriate solutions to counter xenophobia and racism and to represent this online”.

Maas, who has recently said Facebook should not “become a fun fair for the far right”, said new measures to combat xenophobia online could be introduced “from now to the end of the year, if possible.”

“The objective is to improve the management of (user) reports” against xenophobic comments, the minister said.

Facebook has urged its users to report offensive postings and announced a partnership with the group Voluntary Self-Monitoring of Multimedia Service Providers (FSM).

Opposition Greens party co-chief Katrin Goering-Eckardt several days ago read out in a YouTube clip a litany of verbal attacks that had been posted on her Facebook page, and urged the company to “finally ensure that such hatred and filth” is deleted.

She said strong>freedom of expression is important but “has its limits when it comes to agitation to commit violence, or sickening hate speech”.

    – Using Facebook to organise aid –

Many users say that when they complain to Facebook about offensive posts, the network often responds that after a review the post does not violate its community standards.

Users also accuse the company of double standards for cracking down swifter and harder on nudity and sexual content than on hate-mongering.

Maas said Facebook was required to delete posts in violation of German laws against incitement of racial hatred, and has for weeks urged the company to delete racist comments and threats that have targeted politicians, artists and volunteers helping refugees.

Weeks ago Germany’s most popular film star, Til Schweiger, blasted fans who left dozens of anti-migrant comments on his Facebook page after he appealed for donations for a refugee charity.

And a German TV journalist’s impassioned call last month for an “uprising of decent people” against racism and attacks on asylum-seekers was viewed more than five million times via Facebook alone within 48 hours, drawing an outpouring of both support and scorn.

Facebook said in April it would not allow the social network to be used to promote hate speech or terrorism as it unveiled a wide-ranging update of its global community standards.

Facebook said it was “convinced that social media can be used effectively to discuss and question views such as xenophobia.”

The vast majority of Germany’s 27 million Facebook users did so in a very positive way, said Eva-Maria Kirschsieper of Facebook Germany.

“We are seeing that many groups are organising humanitarian aid for new refugees on our platform,” she said.

    • EU ministers agree to relocate 120,000 more refugees

EU agrees bigger migrant relocation, but details unclear: draft

EU interior ministers are set to agree to relocate a further 120,000 asylum-seekers around the bloc but leave details of the scheme open to discussion, according to draft conclusions of a meeting about to start on Monday.

As well as adopting into law an earlier scheme to relocate 40,000 asylum-seekers from Italy and Greece, the ministerial council would, if the draft seen by Reuters is approved later in the day, accept in principle a proposal by the EU executive to redistribute a further 120,000 people.

But after opposition to a system of compulsory national quotas, particularly from east European states, governments would continue to discuss how to spread the asylum-seekers around the bloc before a further ministerial meeting on Oct. 8.

“The Council has committed to relocate an additional 120,000 persons in need of international protection from member states exposed to massive migratory flows,” the draft read. That makes no mention of which states would benefit due to opposition from Hungary, which has rejected a plan to relieve it of migrants.

“The numbers proposed by the Commission constitute the basis for an agreement on the distribution of those persons within the European Union. Work will be carried out as a matter of priority on the preparation of a formal decision to implement this commitment, with due regard to the flexibility that could be needed by Member States in the implementation of the decision, in particular to accommodate unforeseen developments.”

In response to calls from eastern and northern EU states concerned that relocating asylum-seekers could attract more people to the bloc, diplomats noted that the draft also includes strong language on the need for tighter control of the external EU borders, rapid screening of arrivals and prompt deportations of those considered not to be in need of refugee status.

    • Hungary: Mad Max-style train barricade signals final closure of borders with Serbia

A train wagon with razor wire attached to its front was brought and set as a barricade on Hungarian-Serbian border near Roszke village, Monday. The wagon blocked the railway track passage which was being used by refugees for months. The refugees who arrived at the border after work started on the fence have been sent back to Serbia, according to reports. This train signalled Hungary’s closing of all crossing points with Serbia except the official road borders for vehicles which are still in use but have checkpoints.

  28. Russia positioning tanks at Syrian Airport

    http://news.yahoo.com/russia-positioning-tanks-syria-airfield-u-officials-144236303.html

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Russia has positioned about a half dozen tanks at an airfield at the center of a military buildup in Syria, two U.S. officials said on Monday, adding that the intentions of Moscow’s latest deployment of heavy military equipment were unclear.

Moscow has come under increased international pressure in recent days to explain its moves in Syria, where the Kremlin has been supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in a 4-1/2-year war.

The Pentagon declined to directly comment on the Reuters report, saying it could not discuss U.S. intelligence. But a U.S. Defense Department spokesman said recent actions by Moscow suggested plans to establish a forward air operating base.

  29. Federal Data: U.S. Annually Admits Quarter Of A Million Muslim Migrants

    http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/09/14/federal-data-u-s-annually-admits-quarter-of-a-million-muslim-migrants/

A Breitbart News review of State Department and Homeland Security data reveals that the United States already admits more than a quarter of a million Muslim migrants each year. President Obama intends to add another 10,000 Syrian migrants on top of that.

In 2013 alone, 117,423 migrants from Muslim-majority countries were permanently resettled within the United States— having been given lawful permanent resident status. Additionally in 2013, the United States voluntarily admitted an extra 122,921 temporary migrants from Muslim countries as foreign students and foreign workers as well as 39,932 refugees and asylees from Muslim countries.

Thus, twelve years after the September 11th hijackers were invited into the country on temporary visas, the U.S. decided to admit 280,276 migrants from Muslim countries within a single fiscal year.

To put these numbers into perspective, this means that every year the U.S. admits a number of Muslim migrants larger in size than the entire population of Des Moines, Iowa; Lincoln, Nebraska; or Dayton, Ohio.

  30. Paul Ryan Wrong, Jeff Sessions Right on Immigration in Trade Deal

    http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/09/14/paul-ryan-wrong-jeff-sessions-right-on-immigration-in-trade-deal/

The United States Trade Representative (USTR) — responding to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request — is finally revealing the chapter titles of the pending Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal, confirming there is a chapter relating to immigration titled, “Temporary Entry for Business Persons.”

    Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)
    80%
warned about the potential of U.S. immigration being included in the Trans Pacific Partnership, but House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)
    58%
and the White House previously and continuously denied any immigration clause existed within the trade deal throughout their push for President Obama’s fast-track trade authority obtained through Congress’s passage of the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) – a fact now revealed to be false.

Breitbart News previously reported, via documents from WikiLeaks, that there was an entire chapter – roughly ten pages – dedicated to foreign worker visas. Experts reviewed the documents and told Breitbart News that as currently drafted, that chapter within the trade deal could change current U.S. immigration law relating to foreign worker visas.

  31. FOX NEWS – New Emails on Secret Benghazi Weapons

On the third anniversary of the Benghazi terrorist attack, emails reviewed by Fox News raise significant questions about US government support for the secret shipment of weapons to the Libyan opposition.

As Fox News chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge first reported, a heavily redacted email released to the Benghazi committee in May clearly states that on April 8, 2011, a day after the Turi/Stevens exchange, Clinton was interested in arming the rebels using contractors:

“FYI. the idea of using private security experts to arm the opposition should be considered,” Clinton wrote. Significantly, the state department released emails blacked out this line, but the version given to the Benghazi select committee was complete.

[…]Turi provided Fox News with emails he exchanged – in early April 2011 – with Chris Stevens to alert him to the proposed weapons deal. The emails were previously cited by the New York Times, but Fox News has made the message traffic public.

Stevens replied with a “thank you ” and wrote “I’ll keep it in mind and share it with my colleagues in Washington.”[…]

[…]Turi said support for arming the Libyan rebels came from the most senior levels of the US government. Turi’s claim is consistent with a Reuters news service exclusive report from March 31, 2011 that stated “President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing covert U.S. government support for rebel forces seeking to oust Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi…Obama signed the order, known as a presidential “finding”, within the last two or three weeks, according to government sources familiar with the matter.”

[…] if you don’t want a US footprint-any type of US entities that’s subject to subpoena powers – what do you do? You outsource it and that’s what they did.”

March 2011 was a busy time for Hillary Clinton. Even today, congressional investigators doubt they have all of the emails from her personal server when she was Secretary of State. On March 14th, 2011, along with Chris Stevens, who was the Special Representative to the Libyan Trans National Council, Clinton met with Libya’s Mustafa Jibril in Paris — a senior member of the TNC. The next day, Secretary Clinton met with Egypt’s new foreign minister Nabil el Arabi in Cairo and walked through Tahrir Square with her senior adviser Huma Abedin. At the same time, Turi’s proposal, a 267-million dollar contract, was working its way through US government channels.

  32. TURKEY – Erdogan meets Hamas leader over Al-Aqsa clashes

Turkish president briefed on violence between Palestinians, Israeli security focres at Al-Aqsa Mosque, east Jerusalem

Hamas leader Khaled Meshal on Monday briefed Turkey’s president over the clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces at Al-Aqsa Mosque, a presidency source said.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan met Meshal, the group’s political chief, after violence erupted Sunday and continued into Monday at the site in east Jerusalem, which is revered by both Jews and Muslims.

Erdogan strongly condemned the violence, which left dozens injured, the source said on customary condition of anonymity. Meshal thanked Erdogan for his sensitivity and support.

Israeli forces withdrew from the compound Monday following fierce clashes with Palestinians, Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib, director general of Al-Aqsa affairs, told Anadolu Agency.

Israeli police stationed at compound later began allowing Palestinians back into the area.

  33. Muslim ‘Refugees’ and Terrorism in America
How many Americans will Obama’s Muslim migrants kill?

    http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/260119/muslim-refugees-and-terrorism-america-daniel-greenfield

Before 9/11, the trial run for the attack was the World Trade Center bombing. The key figures in that attack, from Ramzi Yousef, the nephew of 9/11 planner Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, to the Blind Sheikh, whose ambitious plans involved bombing New York bridges and tunnels, asked for political asylum.

Ramzi Yousef showed up with a fake passport and claimed to be an Iraqi refugee seeking political asylum. He was released on his own recognizance and told to show up for a hearing. He never did.

His co-conspirator, Ahmed Ajaj, went on filing for political asylum even while under arrest for his role in the World Trade Center bombing. Their pals, Mahmud Abouhalima, who routinely told passengers that “In Islam, the people are the weapons”, and Mohammed Salameh, were illegal aliens who had applied for amnesty as agricultural workers. But they didn’t go on to pick lettuce or blueberries.

Instead they went on to bomb the buildings, Americans wouldn’t bomb.

The Blind Sheikh, who headed a Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group, applied for political asylum even after the bombings. He really did need political asylum because the Egyptian government wanted him. Unfortunately the State Department, even back then, took the side of the Muslim Brotherhood over that of the Egyptian government and obstructed the request because the charges were “political”.

  34. Muslim Soldiers Killing Christian Soldiers in Egypt
Because they refuse to convert to Islam.

    http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/260090/muslim-soldiers-killing-christian-soldiers-egypt-raymond-ibrahim

On Sunday, August 23, a Coptic Christian soldier was killed in his army unit in Egypt. Baha Saeed Karam, 22, was found shot dead with four bullet wounds at the headquarters of his battalion in Marsa Matruh. Although transferred to a hospital in Alexandria, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

According to Baha’s brother, Cyril, the Coptic soldier had recently told him that he had gotten into arguments with other Muslim soldiers in his unit and that one had threatened him with death.

Baha is certainly not the first Coptic Christian serving in his country’s military to be killed over his religious identity.

Two months earlier, on June 24, the only Christian in his army unit was found shot dead in a chair at the office of the military base he was stationed. Baha Gamal Mikhail Silvanus, a 23-year-old conscript, had two gunshot wounds and a gun at his feet. Relatives who later saw the body said he also had wounds atop his head, as if he had been bludgeoned with an object.

The military’s official position was that the Copt committed suicide—despite the fact that suicides are rarely able to shoot themselves twice or first hit themselves atop the head with blunt objects. Moreover, according to Rev. Mikhial Shenouda, who knew the deceased, “A person who commits suicide is a disappointed and desperate person, but Baha was in very good spirits. He was smiling always. He was keeping the word of God,” and planning on entering the monastic life after his military service.

  35. Broward Deputy Sheriff Nezar Hamze Involved with Second Terrorist Group
How can someone associated with CAIR and Islamic Relief also work in law enforcement?

    http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/260121/broward-deputy-sheriff-nezar-hamze-involved-second-joe-kaufman

For the past five years, since September 2010, Deputy Sheriff of the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Nezar Hamze has been a local leader for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group that was recently named to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government list of international terrorist organizations. However, Hamze’s involvement with a second group that was named to the UAE terror list, Islamic Relief, seems to have gone unnoticed. This piece exposes Hamze’s further participation in the world of radical Islam.

In November 2014, the government of United Arab Emirates published a list of terrorist organizations. A few of the groups mentioned on the list operate within the United States. One of the groups is CAIR.

CAIR was established, in June 1994, as one of four US-based organizations under the leadership of then-global head of Hamas, Mousa Abu Marzook, who was residing in the US at the time. Since CAIR’s founding, a number of representatives for the group have been imprisoned in and/or deported from the US for reasons related to terrorist activity. CAIR itself was named a co-conspirator by the US government for two federal trials dealing with the financing of Hamas.

Nezar Hamze is the Regional Operations Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Florida chapter of CAIR. Previously, he served as CAIR-Florida’s Executive Director. Currently, the Executive Director of CAIR-Florida is Hassan Shibly, an individual who has referred to Hezbollah as “basically a resistance movement” and “absolutely not a terrorist organization” and who, in August 2014, tweeted, “Israel and its supporters are enemies of God.”

Besides CAIR, Hamze has been active in another group which is located on the UAE terror list and operating within America, Islamic Relief (IR).
