More geopolitics, Some important questions and more important reminders: Links 2 on Sept. 13 – 2015

1: So we have the insurgency, which is the Islamic State, we have the terrorist group, well many but most famously, Al-Qaeda, and we have the ideological foundation for all of it which is the muslim Brotherhood. Al-Qaeda now is promoting more attacks against the West. Again. Like it ever stopped.

CAIRO (Reuters) – Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri called on young Muslim men in the United States and other Western countries to carry out attacks inside there and urged greater unity between militants.

“I call on all Muslims who can harm the countries of the crusader coalition not to hesitate. We must now focus on moving the war to the heart of the homes and cities of the crusader West and specifically America,” he said in an audio recording posted online on Sunday, referring to nations making up the Western-led coalition in Iraq and Syria.

2. Today in Ottawa, Xanthipa Chamberpot finally managed to do her free speech in Ottawa event at Parliament hill. Our mobile corespondent Victor Laszlo was there and sent in a pile of photos and videos of the event, which, at the time he left, basically nothing had happened at all. But there are still a few interesting things to see and an interview with the woman brave enough to hold the event. Hopefully tonight some if it will be edited and posted.

3. Germany: Berlin police arrest Kurdish and Turkish activists following violence

4. Germany stops all trains from Austria. (Daily Mail article)

(Ever since we all became socialist without our knowledge or consent, I notice that governments use the Kindergarten solution for all things now. That is, when a group of people cause a problem or even an individual, solutions are imposed which penalize everyone. Much like a Kindergarten teacher punishing the class for the one kid chewing gum etc. You should deal with the problem. Not make life hell for everyone because you can’t)

Germany’s open-door policy to refugees appeared to be unravelling tonight following the country’s reinstatement of border controls to curb the overwhelming influx of migrants.

Europe’s top economy halted all trains from Austria and, in an historic move, temporarily suspended the open borders Schengen agreement in response to the arrival of tens of thousands of Syrian refugees in recent days.

The decision marks a dramatic shift away from the current abolishment of passport checks throughout Europe’s Schengen zone.

5. Iran raises the level of jingoism a notch even when you didn’t think they could.
(The subtlety of this video is actually more threatening than the parrot like screeching typical of the regime in some ways)

6. Ezra asks,’What exactly is a refugee’ according to the UN

Thank you Buck, Victor Laszlo, Gates of Vienna, M., Wrath of Khan, Richard, Perfect Child, Nash Montana, and all for the links and some great comments as well.

The war on men at American universities seems to be going well. They have developed a weapon against which there may be no defense. There are also many many marches for the migrants in many nations. I didn’t have the heart to post them just as I would not have the heart to post a teenage suicide note. Too heart breaking. But the good news, if one can call it that, is that they reek of astroturf much like Antifa is everywhere. In other words, probably government funded and made to appear grass roots but in fact a total government shill. To see them just look at the daily links post.

Also a reminder. Stephen Coughlin will be live on CFRA which is a broadcast AM radio station in Ottawa on 580 AM but streamed from the website. He is on at 9:00 Eastern time for an hour. Try and tune in. If you have any great questions for Stephen please email them to the host, Nick Vandergragt or call in to the show with their 800 number at the website.

Also a Munich train station was evacuated due to a dog indicating it smelled explosives. After a search they didn’t find any and reopened it. So none of those links are posted but there is lots in the comments including a video.

  1. 1 – The scary thing is the way so many of the left and the libertarian far right think that all we have to do is pull back inside our borders and the Moslems will quit attacking us.

    • You are correct Richard, It’s never over with the practitioners of the ‘Religion Of Peace’. It’s all in the Muslim Manifestos, the Quran,Suras, and Hadieths. They have been at it for 1400+ yrs. and in their minds are just getting warmed up.

  2. RE; #5, Shades of things to come, one can just imagine the ‘rosy’ future when Ms. Merkel’s 800,000+ ‘new arrivals’ contribute to the ‘cultural enrichment’ of the ‘new and improved Europe’.
