1: Ezra Levant: “Uber war with cabs is like Thomas Edison war with candle makers”

Of course its much worse than that as Ezra points out. The real issue is free enterprise Vs. Canada’s communist system of everything. If you try and take a cab in Ottawa or buy a bottle of anything with alcohol in it, you are 100% up against government regulators and consequent high prices and awful service. Just like the Soviet Union was but not as bad yet. Not by a very long shot granted but the principle is the same and the scale is correct.

Canada constantly moves towards more and more socialist government control of everything so that everything gets worse and more of the economy slides underground.

2. Turkey’s pro-Kurdish HDP party offices attacked in Ankara

A crowd has attacked the headquarters of Turkey’s pro-Kurdish HDP party, amid rising violence between Turkish forces and the militant Kurdish PKK group.

Pictures from the scene appeared to show the HDP building in the capital, Ankara, on fire.

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has appealed for calm.

Earlier, Turkish ground forces crossed into Iraq in pursuit of Kurdish militants for the first time since a ceasefire with the PKK two years ago.

3. Iraqi sex slave victim blows up ISIS commander

An Iraqi woman has reportedly killed an Isis commander after he forced her to become a sex slave for his fighters.

The Isis commander, only referred to by his nom de guerre Abu Anas, was allegedly murdered by an unidentified Iraqi woman on 5 September in Mosul, Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) spokesperson Saeed Mamouzini told al-Sumari TV.

4. ISIS is using rape as ‘the centrepoint of their terror’, Angelina Jolie tells Parliament as she recalls meeting girls as young as seven brutally assaulted in conflict zones

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie today told the Houses of Parliament that ISIS is using rape as the ‘centrepoint of their terror’ as she warned of the destruction caused by sexual violence in conflict zones.

The actress and human rights activist spoke of the harrowing moment she met girls as young as seven who had been brutally raped in war zones.

Jolie, who is giving evidence to a Lords committee, said jihadist fanatics in the ‘most aggressive terrorist group in the world’ were using sex attacks as a ‘very effective weapon’.

She said the use of rape by ISIS as a ‘policy’ was a new horror that the world had not seen before and urged a ‘very, very strong response’ to the terror group in Iraq and Syria.

5. Kenyan men arrested with ‘mall IED’ in Nairobi

Three men have been arrested at a shopping centre in Kenya’s capital with a suspected explosive device, which has since been detonated in a controlled explosion, police say.

The Garden City Mall, one of the biggest shopping centres in the city, has also been evacuated.

One of the men refused to be searched by security guards and was overpowered in a scuffle, a witness said.

In 2013, al-Shabab gunmen killed 67 shoppers at the city’s Westgate mall.

6. Venezuela makes offer to take in 20,000 ‘Syrian refugees’ which he knows will never go while throwing out the real Columbians who are living and working in Venezuela.

7. Two videos on the migrant tide in Lesbos Greece.

  1. 20, 000 more expected.
  2. Island set to explode. (Best bit is the guy claiming to be a real Syrian refugee upset about the long lines due to the overwhelming number of fake refugees)

8. VIDEO: Greek Island Turns Into War Zone as Syrian and Afghan Migrants Clash

(Hard to imagine vast groups of muslims mostly trying to trick their way into a better life at the expense of Christian (as they see it) tax payers in Europe erupting in brawls amongst themselves)

The Greek island of Lesbos has been turned into a war zone by rioting migrants, leaving the island’s 85,000 residents in despair. Around 25,000 migrants are currently camped out on the island with hundreds more arriving daily, leading to frequent violent clashes and rioting despite their claim to be fleeing violence.

Located just 6 miles from the Turkish shore, the migrants come over in inflatable boats which they cut up on arrival to prevent being turned back, expecting to be able to quickly travel on by ferry to mainland Europe, German station RTL has reported.

9. The CBC unbiased pre election VOTE COMPAS seems to have only one question about the current Canadian government’s alliances. Quite peculiar for a state broadcaster which has a mandate to be impartial. Its almost like a liable of sorts.

  1. Jolie is showing more brains then I thought she has, wonders never cease.

Earlier today I predicted violence between various Islamic sects and ethnic groups, I didn’t expect it to start this soon. The next question is will it spread beyond Lesbos?

  2. John Kerry’s passion for appeasement:
    Kerry’s Speech Tops Chamberlain’s Remarks

In his speech yesterday on the Iran deal, Secretary of State Kerry mentioned “Israel” or “Israeli” 26 times – protesting a bit too much about his concern for the ally put at existential risk by the Obama administration’s cascade of concessions. Even eerier was the similarity of Kerry’s words to those of Neville Chamberlain in the British parliamentary debate on the Munich agreement in 1938.
