  1. Malzberg | Anjem Choudary discusses his claim that Pam Geller deserves to die

    • vermin presented as ” an Islamic ACTIVIST, and a LECTURER in Islamic Law Sharia”….. is it just me who lives on another planet?

Why is this murder-inciting creep not behind bars?

    • Isn’t he somewhat more careful here? He differentiates between drawing something neutral vs something insulting, refers the issue to an Islamic court, etc. Maybe he’s beginning to feel the pressure?

      • I wish I could share your elegant optimism as in “..there is a crack in everything, that’s where the light gets in….”

        • THAT is elegant optimism!

It’s glorious gift to perfectionists one and all –
          – -Forget the perfect offering…
There is a crack in everything.
          – -That’s how the light gets in,
that’s how the light gets in…

          Thank-you, Rita. m(_ _)m

    • The judge’s position was clearer in her opening statement (Winds of Jihad has it in some non-youtube format) but obviously Pamela Geller’s free speech event was not ‘probably a dumb move’ but a smart and necessary one.

    • The Christian kids and their teacher were simply too stupidly reckless. If they don’t know enough to keep their heads down in a country that voted in the MB, they’re destined to lose them.

If they weren’t in custody, they’d be beaten to death in a twinkling. Mobs would be after every Christian they could find. They may yet, if they’re not satisfied that “justice has been done”.

Sisi has a constituency too. And though we like him a whole lot better than Morsi or the ayatollahs, we can’t expect an enlightened military dictatorship any time soon.

      • When I was young, I was often told that – if one offers me the little finger, I want to take the whole arm….the only thing that has changed is that I’m not young any longer and I still find it difficult to “be grateful for small mercies”

I must try harder to emulate my favorite Yanky Kuffar 😉

        • You'll never get the wrist if you don't demand the arm. And we both know it's the thumb we're after, right?

Watching Israel’s given me a little perspective. The system there is a throw-back to the city bosses and smokey rooms of US politics before the war. Nasty.

When everyone demands everything of Bibi, I’ve learned to stop listening. They just don’t understand.

I’m thinking, “None of you deserve him.”
Doesn’t matter, I swallow it. Israel needs him.

    • Sisi doesn’t have total control over every cop and judge. And if he is planning to, he hasn’t had enough time. In Canada, Harper, who is a conservative in several ways, cannot stop the civil service from doing a near infinite list of commie like things that advantage the left and screw over reason. Like the CRTC shutting down SUN or letting Khadr out of Jail. Harper likely couldn’t do anything about the first and did everything he could about the second.

What will tell, is if Sisi steps in on this case and says anything. Also interesting will be to see if Obama says anything about it as he is notorious for making his feelings known about other arrests in Egypt and demanding they be let go.

      • You and yucki make me think, perhaps it’s time I take of my teutonic boots 😉

Of course we should rather be worried that Sisi gets it in the neck, I am sure Obama (my now favorite Rabbi calls him “the Hussein in the White house) and his MB are working hard at it.

I was sad/angry? to see him (Sisi) give in to the blackmail of the Australian conservative government (they are also spuked by the left orthodoxy reigning here in australian media) to liberate an Australian Journalist for AL JAZEERA. He was incarcarated in Egypt for supporting the MB – and of course he was. I have heard him since he has been brought back greeted and feasted like a returning Hero – and the Conservatives had to join the dance – despite the fact that he was immediately propagandising ….I knew it, when I heard that he worked for AlJazeera and was feted (hysterically) by our ABC (the local version of BBC) – no-one who works for AlJezeera is innocent. But yes….all this stream-of-conciousness verbosity to tell you that I understand what you say about Harper (one of the most courageous politicians today imo).

And no, “the Hussein in the White House” will not intervene, I bet…poor kids

        • Yes Obama is working hard to get Sisi, just as he is working hard to damage or destroy all western nations, a fact that more people are beginning to understand.

          • He’s so MB, Sisi’s been in the crosshairs since Day 1.
He showed his MB credentials when he gave that odious speech in Cairo, 2009.

  2. I dont like BBC and this story has actually nothing to do with islamic terror, but it is interesting just because of this fact (I think) – murder, deaths and mayhem and – as far as is known – “not terror-related”. A glimpse of things to come or just a blip on our route to the the gruesome end? 😉

  3. After a vailiant struggle, while being full of humour and tenderness, surrounded by his family and his beloved, Professor Dr. Johannes J. G. (Hans) Jansen passed away peacefully on May 5.

    * Amsterdam, November 17, 1942 Zwolle, May 5, 2015

Obituary Prof. Emeritus Hans Jansen, Dutch arabist

Hans Jansen was an eminent scholar with a worldwide reputation for his research into

islamic doctrine and thinking. As befits a scholar he was not satisfied with fairytales. So Hans continued to work to help break down the myth of multiculturalism and in particular of the peaceful pretense of Islam.

Hans discovered such a grave calendar error in the work of Muhammad’s biographer Ibn Ishaq that it is justifiable to conclude that the whole story was written with the sole intention to create the figure of Mohammed and to depict this figure as the messenger of God and final prophet:

    http://www.arabistjansen.nl/Arabist/Davis.html

Hans was part of the Inarah conference, organized by equally worthy scholars who regularly meet in Germany to find out how Islam emerged. During breaks these scholars would converse in Latin or Greek or Arabic or Aramaic or Hebrew but generally in German. Hans visibly enjoyed this company in which no one was hindered by the strict boundaries of political correctness. This article by Hans is a result of those activities:

    http://www.arabistjansen.nl/Arabist/Copenhagen11.html

All his life Hans remained amazed by the refusal of seemingly rational people to take notice

of the findings of his and his colleagues.

Hans wanted to reach as many people as possible, he was definitely not the professoral recluse. Hans lived to publish and to inform. His writing style was lucid and transparent. None of his texts were exclusive or elitist. Hans’s books and articles were widely read. The series of articles published by Hans for the influential Dutch site Geen Stijl (no style) showed Hans in his best form as the informed professor who writes in an elegant, amusing and funny tone to reach a large group of readers.

Hans was often asked for television shows but when he repeatedly met the wall of silly politically correct deafness, he stopped accepting these invitations. If a request came to him, from then on, he would respond to the applicant with the words: “My father and mother do not allow me to appear on television any longer.”

When Hans was quite unexpectedly invited to stand as a candidate for the Dutch Freedom Party for the European Union Parliament, it was impressive to see how he, while already advanced in years, with enormous energy accepted this turn of career. I am forever grateful for him to have made this sacrifice so that also in the European Parliament the voice of reason would be heard. His last contribution in the plenary session of the EU-parliament, can be seen here (in Dutch, transcript below):

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyUr59qVhWc&feature=youtu.be

Hans said in the one minute he was allowed to speak:

“In the year 832 the Caliph of Bagdad visited Egypt and ordered the large pyramid of Gizeh to be destroyed. The effort of his soldiers showed hardly any result after several months of labor. The attempt to demolish this pre-islamic monument was therefore stopped. This illustrates how the Islam strives to erase all memory of what was before it. This destruction of the past is what Islam has always strived for, it is not a new occurrence what we now see in Northern Iraq and Northern Syria with IS. With islamic genocide comes the denial of the genocide, with the Jihad comes the endeavor to erase everything that might remind us of the victims of the Jihad.

It is for this reason that I ask the European Commission and all who read or hear this,
to not only commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide but also to work very hard to save Europe from this religion. Because the enemy is already within our borders.”

Hans has published tenths of books of which three were published in English and one in German. Below is a list of these books.

Hans would always end his correspondence with this line, a quotation from the Bible, 1 Tim 6:12: Fight the food fight.

    We will.

    We will miss Hans immensely.

  4. Macedonia gunfight leaves eight police, 14 gunmen dead

Kumanovo (Macedonia) (AFP) – Shooting broke out for a second day on Sunday in northern Macedonia after clashes in the restive Balkan nation left at least eight officers and 14 gunmen dead, police said.

“Eight police officers were killed and 37 were injured” in shooting in the city of Kumanovo that began Saturday at dawn, a police spokesman said, adding that 14 bodies in uniforms were also found, allegedly those of members of a “terrorist group”.

As the crisis-hit country declared two days of mourning, the European Union warned of the danger of escalation in a part of the nation hit by an ethnic Albanian [ read Muslim ] insurgency in 2001.

The clashes have been blamed by the government on fighters from across the border. One in four Macedonians is an ethnic Albanian.

Hospital sources in Skopje earlier confirmed that a sixth police officer had died from wounds suffered in battles with the gunmen.

“(A) policeman has died while another one is in critical condition,” a hospital source told AFP on condition of anonymity.

The government previously said that five police officers had been killed and some 30 injured in the violence in Kumanovo, some 40 kilometres (25 miles) north of Skopje.

“There are victims among the terrorists but for the time being we cannot give the exact number,” Interior Minister Gordana Jankuloska told reporters late Saturday.

Sporadic fire from automatic weapons could be heard overnight and on Sunday as helicopters patrolled overhead, the state-run MIA news agency reported, citing witnesses.

“The situation on the ground is still very risky,” Jankuloska said.

    – EU warns against escalation –

“Any further escalation must be avoided,” said the EU’s enlargement commissioner Johannes Hahn.

The violence broke out when police moved in to dismantle what officials called a “terrorist group” that allegedly entered Macedonia illegally from a neighbouring country. Kosovo

Jankuloska said advancing security forces were met with “violent resistance” from snipers, grenades and automatic weapons.

Jankuloska said the gunmen were planning a “terrorist attack” on state institutions, and had accomplices in Kumanovo.

Local media suggested the assailants came from neighbouring Kosovo, populated mostly by ethnic Albanians, Muslims with some reports indicating five members of the group had been killed.

Media broadcast images of armoured police vehicles deployed across Kumanovo, with officers clad in bullet-proof jackets.

On Saturday dozens of people, mostly women, children and the elderly, fled the besieged zone, some of them being evacuated by police, according to an AFP photographer.

Police noted that “difficult terrain” was hampering the operation.

    – Calls for calm, dialogue –

The incident comes less then three weeks after around 40 ethnic Albanians from neighbouring Kosovo briefly seized control of a police station on Macedonia’s northern border, demanding the creation of an Albanian state in Macedonia.

Ethnic Albanians make up around one quarter of Macedonia’s 2.1 million people.

Both Albania and Kosovo, as well as Macedonia’s ethnic Albanian junior ruling party DUI, strongly condemned Saturday’s clashes and called for calm.

In Tirana, the foreign ministry issued a statement calling for restraint “to prevent further deterioration of the situation which is not in favour of Macedonia’s democratic stability and prosperity.”

Pristina echoed that by imploring “all sides to find a solution through a political dialogue.”

Serbia sent additional forces to its border with both Kosovo and Macedonia, state-run Tanjug news agency reported.

The 2001 Macedonian conflict ended with an agreement providing more rights to the community, but ties between ethnic Macedonians and Albanians remain strained.

The violence in Kumanovo erupted amid political tension in Macedonia, where the government and centre-left opposition continue have been trading accusations including claims of wiretapping and million-euro bribes.

The crisis has not only undermined Macedonia’s already weak institutions, but also sparked concerns within the 28-nation European Union that Skopje hopes to join.

The US embassy in Skopje this weekend issued a statement expressing condolences “to the families of the people killed and to those injured.”

          • RT- Footage released on Sunday by Macedonia Police shows captured gunmen, who are reported to be involved in a shootout in Kumanovo that left at least eight police officers dead and 37 injured. Some of the 30 men arrested are seen wearing insignias of Kosovo Liberation Army. Fourteen of the gunmen declared dead have not been officially identified.

    Desensitization Program for the Cartoonophobic

Some Americans think that a desensitization program might be helpful to muslims who need to get a grip on their cartoonophobia, truthophobia, and realityophobia. If there are pictures of mohammed EVERYWHERE, muslims may experience outrage fatigue since they can’t kill EVERYBODY and they can’t go jihading EVERYWHERE ALL OF THE TIME, so they’ll just have to get used to seeing mo around.

        http://www.dw.de/protests-as-turkeys-erdogan-visits-germany/a-18442549

“Clashes broke out between supporters and opponents of Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday in Karlsruhe, amidst an appearance by the Turkish president. Erdogan’s visit came ahead of the Turkish general election in June.

“You are Turkey’s strength,” Erdogan told more than 14,000 fans at a jam-packed arena outside Karlsruhe, explaining amidst a cheering crowd and waving Turkish flags that he wasn’t just talking to “guest workers” who left Turkey for Germany years ago.

In a speech broadcast live on Turkish television, Erdogan said he was addressing the “new Turkey,” the Turks living in Germany that he called the “voice of his own nation.”

“The new Turkey begins with you,” Erdogan announced to the crowd at the opening of the event, which began with the presentation of a song that had been composed for the Turkish head of state.

After his speech, the crowd chanted: “Erdogan! We love you! We are proud of you!”

Amidst the jubilation, thousands gathered outside the arena to protest Erdogan’s visit to Germany, which his opponents have said violates Turkish law.

They called his appearance a clear indication that Erdogan was representing his Justice and Development Party (AKP).

A spokesperson for the Karlsruhe police said clashes occurred after members of the pro-Kurdish People’s Democratic Party (HDP) approached Erdogan supporters as they waited to enter the arena. The Erdogan supporters reportedly then started attacking the PKK members, leaving several injured.

According to the constitution, the Turkish president is not allowed to take part in election campaign events.

Officially, the event is being billed as a meeting with youth groups. However, it is widely seen as a campaign stop ahead of the parliamentary election in Turkey on June 7…..”

  8. Danish culinary school fined $6,000 for forcing Muslim student to taste pork

A Danish court has ordered a culinary school to pay around $6,000 in damages to its Muslim student after a woman was required to taste pork as part of her studies.

The 24-year-old student, who arrived in Denmark from Libya, when she still was a baby, attended the Holstebro Culinary School, named after the town where it’s located.

According to the Politiken daily, the student, whose name wasn’t revealed by the paper, was told by school officials that she would have to taste the food she cooks, like the rest of her classmates.

Dishes the group cooked contained pork, forbidden for Muslims due to religion, prompting the woman to abstain from trying them.

As she refused, she was asked to only taste, but not to swallow the pork dishes.

The woman recorded the conversation with school officials and later presented the tape as evidence in court.

It appeared that the student was informed that pork and wine would be in the recipes, but she was only informed that trying prepared dishes was compulsory after the course began.

The woman insisted that she was being discriminated against on religious grounds and filed a complaint against the school to the Equal Treatment Board.

The board upheld her claim and ordered the school to pay the student $75,000 in moral damages.

The culinary school challenged the verdict in the Danish High Court, saying that the woman hadn’t graduated as she missed classes too often.

The High Court upheld the lower court’s decision, but ordered the school to pay a smaller sum in compensation of 40,000 Danish krone (around $6,000).

  9. Britain First: Far right party leader threatens to bury pig at mosque construction site

West Midlands Police has now confirmed that speeches made at a rally in Dudley on Saturday had been “closely monitored”

A police chief has warned hate crimes will be “relentlessly” pursued after a far-right leader threatened to bury a pig at a mosque construction site in Dudley.

Paul Golding told a Britain First rally in the town on Saturday that he is prepared to go to prison in a bid to stop the place of worship being built.

Another speaker also made remarks about the Prophet Muhammad, which were recorded and reported by anti-fascist activists in the crowd.

A Muslim community leader later said the inflammatory comments came against a backdrop of hate crimes and had been reported to the police, the Birmingham Mail reports.

  10. German nightclub bans refugees (DW, May 10, 2015)
    http://www.dw.de/german-nightclub-bans-refugees/a-18441462

“Ingolstadt club “Amadeus” has banned refugees. After a wave of outrage, the owner is now considering introducing mentors who tell the refugees how to behave in German nightlife before they enter his establishment.

The nightlife in Ingolstadt, a city in Bavaria about an hour north of Munich, might soon see an interesting addition: asylum seekers handing out fliers about clubbing etiquette, telling other refugees how to behave appropriately toward women.

That’s one suggested solution to a conflict that sprang up when Martin T., the owner of the “Amadeus” nightclub in Ingolstadt, announced his decision to ban refugees from his establishment earlier this week. Legally, a German club owner has the right to refuse entry to anyone he doesn’t want in his nightclub. But after outrage over the ban, which some have deemed racist, the city of Ingolstadt and T. introduced the nightlife-mentors idea on Friday….”

  11. Niger deports more Nigerians who fled Boko Haram (CNN, May 9, 2015)
    http://edition.cnn.com/2015/05/09/world/niger-boko-haram-deportations/index.html

“Niger deported 1,200 people who fled Nigeria so that it can carry out a military operation against Boko Haram, authorities in the French-speaking country said Saturday.

The 1,200 Nigerians are among the more than 6,000 that Niger has sent back as the Islamist militant group’s terror increasingly creeps over the border from northern Nigeria, according to Isa Umar Gusau, an adviser to Gov. Kashim Shettima of Nigeria’s Borno State.

Gusau said militants had infiltrated the area where the Nigerians had been staying, necessitating the military operation.

More evacuations are expected soon. Seventeen buses were dispatched to the border Saturday to pick up another 1,200 Nigerians. Nigeria has been the center of persistent attacks by Boko Haram.

“The 2,400 are not the only people we are expecting back in Borno from Niger, said Borno State emergency management chairman Alhaji Grema Terab. “Provisions have been made to get them housed” in existing refugee camps and one that that is being established for them.

The repatriation of refugees who initially fled because of Boko Haram back into those very same strongholds alarmed U.N. officials back in January, who called for a moratorium to the practice, which then only numbered in the hundreds.

“Given the volatile security situation in Borno State and the recent attacks by insurgents, UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) is concerned about the nature of these returns and has asked the authorities to stop this operation until there are proper safeguards and a legal framework between Nigeria, Niger and UNHCR,” spokesman William Spindler said.”

  12. U.N. rep accuses Saudi-led coalition of violating international law (CNN, May 10, 2015)
    http://edition.cnn.com/2015/05/09/asia/saudi-airstrikes-yemen/index.html

“A Saudi-led coalition rained down missiles in Yemen from Friday into Saturday, an intense attack that a U.N. official called a breach of international humanitarian law.

The Saudis admitted that the latest attack against Houthi rebels in Yemen — 130 airstrikes in a 24-hour period — included the targeting of schools and hospitals.

The hospitals and schools that were hit functioned as weapons storage sites, coalition spokesman Brig. Gen. Ahmed Asiri said in a statement.

The operations were “targeting headquarters of the Houthi leaders,” Asiri said.

Civilians had been warned ahead of time to leave the cities of Sadaa, Maran, Albiqaa and the border area between Saudi Arabia and Yemen, Asiri said.

In addition, the coalition spokesman accused the Houthi rebels of manning checkpoints that prevented civilians from leaving, in effect using them as human shields.

That rationalization for Friday and Saturday airstrikes was rejected by Johannes Van Der Klaauw, the U.N. humanitarian coordinator for Yemen….”

    http://edition.cnn.com/2015/05/10/politics/isis-ron-johnson-us-threat/index.html

“The United States is “certainly vulnerable” to becoming a new front line in the fight against ISIS, Sen. Ron Johnson said Sunday.

The Wisconsin Republican who chairs the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee told CNN’s Jim Sciutto on “State of the Union” Sunday that attacks inspired by ISIS, like one against a provocative cartoon contest in Texas a week ago, are allowing the group to convey a “winner’s message.”

“The best strategy the U.S. can employ to defeat this is actually defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria so that the reality is conveyed that this is not a winning organization, it is a losing organization,” he said….”

  14. Official: Obama to push for Gulf States ballistic missile defense system next week (CNN, May 10, 2015)
    http://edition.cnn.com/2015/05/06/politics/obama-gulf-states-ballistic-missile-defense-system/index.html

“President Barack Obama will re-engage with Gulf State allies at a summit next week on a proposal for a common ballistic missile defense system that could act as a deterrent to a potentially nuclear armed Iran, a U.S. official confirms to CNN on Wednesday.

Building up that common defense infrastructure and architecture for the Gulf region will be a key part of next week’s summit which is scheduled to take place at the White House and Camp David, the official added.

The official said that the goal would be for the Gulf states to operate the missile defense system themselves, with the U.S. providing advisory and technical support.

A ballistic missile defense system for the Gulf Cooperation Council is something the Obama administration has recommended for some time, the official noted, and also cautioned that missile defense is only one component of a range of security measures that will be discussed.

The U.S. official said the president’s goal is building a defense infrastructure and architecture for the Gulf region that also includes maritime security, border security, and counter-terrorism.

The administration’s proposals for greater defense cooperation with Gulf State allies appear to be aimed at easing concerns in the region about the proposed nuclear deal with Iran, negotiated by the U.S., Tehran, and other world powers.”

  15. I kid you not, this is just like communism or hardcore socialism, quotas by wise philosophers on anything you can think of, so by any chance you dont happen to live “above your means.” (In reality it was those radical leftist parasites who lived above their means of course.) If this nonsense passes, European democracy will take a severe blow from which it may never recover again.

Mediterranean migrant crisis: EU refugee quotas to be proposed (BBC, May 11, 2015)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-32685942

“The European Commission will make the controversial proposal that EU member countries should take in refugees under an EU quota scheme.

The UN estimates that 60,000 people have already tried to cross the Mediterranean this year.

Migrants are being driven to make the journey by “horrific abuse” in Libya, according to Amnesty International.

More than 1,800 migrants have died this year in the Mediterranean, a 20-fold increase on the same period in 2014.

The European Commission’s migration policy, to be announced on Wednesday, will also propose organising legal means for migrants to come to Europe so they don’t turn to traffickers.

However, it will need to be agreed by EU states.

European leaders will discuss the proposals at a summit at the end of June.

Approval of the proposals is unlikely to be straightforward as the UK is strongly opposed to the idea, reports the BBC’s Europe Editor Katya Adler.

Quotas would be determined using a number of factors, including a country’s population, economic indicators and the number of asylum seekers previously accepted.

Germany keenly supports the idea of quotas, having received 200,000 asylum applications last year.

The proposed measures are the latest EU steps to stop migrants drowning in the Mediterranean.

On Monday its foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, will ask the UN Security Council to permit the use of force against people traffickers operating out of Libya.

Without a UN mandate, military action to destroy or halt traffickers’ boats in Libyan or international waters would be illegal.

Libya’s ambassador to the UN, Ibrahim Dabbashi, told the BBC that his country is against the proposal….”
