Students have hit out after white people were banned from an event supposed to be against racism.
Those studying at Goldsmiths University in south London were invited to the student union event to call on academics to ‘diversify the curriculum’.
But many were left shocked when an organiser told white people and men ‘not to come’, as it was only open to black minority ethnic (BME) women.
The University’s student union Welfare and Diversity Officer, Bahar Mustafa wrote on Facebook: ‘Invite loads of BME Women and non-binary people!!
‘Also, if you’ve been invited and you’re a man and/or white PLEASE DON’T COME just cos (sic) i invited a bunch of people and hope you will be responsible enough to respect this is a BME Women and non-binary event only.’

2. CBC Reporter Compares ISIS Terrorists to Foreign Recruits of Israeli Forces
Comparing ISIS’ recruitment from abroad, with a democratic country’s obligation to protect its citizenry from threats by internationally-designated terror groups is beyond the pale.
Israel faces the scourge of radical Islam on all its borders and requires a conscripted army, and welcomes the support of foreign recruits, in its battle against Islamic extremists and those who pledge to wipe Israel from the map.
ISIS subjugates and persecutes its people, beheads infidels and seeks an Islamic caliphate and world domination. Individuals from abroad who elect to join Israel’s army do so to protect the Jewish state from threats like ISIS, Hamas, and Iran. They volunteer to put their lives on the line (and on hold) and leave their families behind. Many of these “Lone Soldiers” are from Canada. In fact, 3% of Israel’s overseas soldiers are Canadians. Their efforts are entirely praiseworthy, are heroic, and are worthy of our admiration.

4. Blackburn boy, 14, charged over Australia terrorism ‘plot’
The boy is accused of inciting another person to carry out an attack at an Anzac Day event with the aim of killing or seriously injuring people.
He is also accused of inciting another person to behead someone in Australia.
Anzac Day is commemorated on 25 April in memory of Australian and New Zealand soldiers who have died in war.
The boy, who has not been named for legal reasons, is believed to be the youngest person to be charged with terrorism offences in the UK to date, according to BBC home affairs correspondent Daniel Sandford
5. Gaza Fires Rocket at Israel
The IDF has confirmed that at least one terrorist rocket was fired from Gaza at southern Israel Thursday. There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
The Color Red sirens went off in and around Sderot. Residents reported hearing explosions.
6. British man accused of wanting to travel to Syria has passport seized in raid
A British Muslim says he has been “left stateless” after police seized his passport over claims he wanted to travel to Syria.
The man, who has been asked to be known as Abu Haleema, was woken yesterday morning by anti-terror police raiding his London home.
The officers told the man they were searching for “articles relating to terrorism” and seized his passport.
He was not arrested but was left with a letter from the Home Office detailing their suspicions.

7. Tower Hamlets election fraud mayor Lutfur Rahman removed from office

An Election Commissioner concluded Tower Hamlets mayor Lutfur Rahman breached election rules and must vacate his post immediately.
Four voters alleged he used “corrupt and illegal practices” in last year’s election, which must now be re-run.
Mr Rahman, who denied any wrong-doing, has been banned from standing again.
At the special High Court hearing, Election Commissioner Richard Mawrey also ordered Mr Rahman to pay £250,000 in costs.
