1. Bill Whittle: Why we should take Iran at their word

2. BBC: Turkey summoned the Vatican ambassador over Pope Francis’s use of the word “genocide” to describe the mass killing of Armenians under Ottoman rule in WW1.

(Video at link)

The foreign ministry reportedly told the envoy it was “disappointed” by the comments, which caused a “problem of trust” between Turkey and the Vatican.

Armenia and many historians say up to 1.5 million people were systematically killed by Ottoman forces in 1915.

Turkey has consistently denied that the killings were genocide.

The Pope’s comments came at a service in Rome to honour a 10th Century mystic, attended by Armenia’s president.

3. Interesting attempt to combat antisemitism in Europe, but based on a fiction. Denmark never did that star thing this project refers to. Its a nice myth, but a myth all the same.

4. Saudi Mufti calls for youth conscription

(Second part of article halfway down page)

In his Friday sermon at Imam Turki bin Abdullah mosque in Riyadh, he said: “We should well look after our youth and prepare them for enlistment, which will enable them dis-charge their duties effectively.”

“This step is important for our youth towards their religion and for protecting their homeland,” he said, adding that the nation should always be prepared to face enemies.

“We are leading a secure life, a boon that others envied us for,” Shaikh Abdul Aziz said and added that while we should be thankful to Allah for this mercy, our nation should remain alert to defend the religion and country through compulsory military training.

(One almost gets the sense that they no longer feel comfortable with US assurances of protection)

5. Muslims chanting to the magic sky hookers and young boys fresh as pearls that await them in Mohamed’s bar and brothel in the afterlife should they kill enough enemies of islam.

7. Yazidi women bought back from Islamic State after being raped in public and sold to jihadis

According to Islamic law, Muslim men can take “captives of the right hand” (Qur’an 4:3, 4:24, 33:50). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war” (33:50). 4:3 and 4:24 extend this privilege to Muslim men in general, as does this passage. “Certainly will the believers have succeeded: They who are during their prayer humbly submissive, and they who turn away from ill speech, and they who are observant of zakah, and they who guard their private parts except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed” (Qur’an 23:1-6).

8. Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia sees first Koran reading in 85 years

ISTANBUL, Turkey — A Muslim cleric has for the first time in 85 years recited the Koran in the Hagia Sophia, the world famous landmark of Istanbul which is now a museum after serving as a church and a mosque, reports said Saturday.

The Hagia Sophia was turned into a museum accessible to all by the secular founders of modern Turkey in the 1930s and secular Turks are wary of any moves to re-Islamize the building.

Thank you CB Sashenka, Buck, M., Oz-Rita, M., Wrath of Khan and all. Much more to come fairly shortly.

    • Celestial vagina, sky vagina, very clever. I haven’t read that any other tradition had this idea, that young men could get all the sex they wanted by getting themselves killed for religion, though having stolen everything else, Mohammedanism must have gotten it from somewhere.

My head used to swim from the perfume I smelt
My hand’s kinda fumbled with her white plastic belt
I’d taste her baby pink lipstick and that’s when I’d melt
She’d whisper in my ear tonight she really was mine
Get back in front put some hair-oil on
Buddy Holly was singing his very last song
With your arms around you girl you try to sing along
      You felt pretty good
      Really had a good time

  1. 4 – Bill Clinton and Obama have shown the world that when the Democrats are in power they will not move to protect our allies, this is forcing our allies to rearm, unfortunately the only ones taking this idea real seriously are Saudi, Japan and the Philippines. With Saudi being the last to start rearming and Japan being the first.

  2. 1 – When someone says they are going to kill you it is almost must that you take them seriously, however right now we have the same problem that faced us with Hitler and Stalin, our left is supporting our enemies so they can implement their own political agenda. We defeated Hitler on the physical battlefield and we defeated Stalin and his successors on the economic battlefield. Given the hold the left has on our news media and the educational system it will require massive effort on both battlefields to defeat this enemy. I remain confident that in the long run we will triumph over both sets of enemies but as I have stated before I am not sure that they won’t manage to destroy civilization before they lose.

    • The history of the Jewish people is convincing enough on that score.
Which is why Bibi sounds like a broken record. Bred-in-the-bone His father was a world-famous historian.

      • So was Churchill, he wrote several books on history including a very good history of our civil war. That was why he said he slept the sleep of the saved after he heard about Pearl Harbor, everyone else was saying the US couldn’t fight but he knew the civil war history and knew that once aroused the US would not stop. This is why the left works so hard to make us ignore the danger from Islam, they know that if/when we wake up Islam the war will be to the knife and possibly further.

        • After all the dust settles, we really must put together a ‘lesson plan/-required reading’ program for the revamped public schools.
