3. New Height of Treachery: USA Exposes Israel’s Nuclear Secrets

(This one needs to be looked into. Its from an email from Dan F. who usually is very reliable though)

The ink isn’t even dry on our emuna-news op-ed from yesterday, Mr. V Exposed, where I wrote that the disappointed, angry and frustrated White House now wants to revenge against Israel for reelecting Bibi. Well here it is folks – put a grenade in the hand of an arrogant and frenzied individual and there will soon be shrapnel all over the place.

The President of the United States has just betrayed Israel in the most inconceivable way: he has just revealed a stunning amount of information on some of Israel’s most closely guarded secrets, including our nuclear program, complete with photographs. You can believe that there’s dancing in the streets of Tehran, Damascus and Beirut this morning. We thank The Jewish Press and our good friend Mark R. from Haifa for the tipoff.

5. AP Exclusive: Iran may run centrifuges at fortified site

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — The United States is considering letting Tehran run hundreds of centrifuges at a once-secret, fortified underground bunker in exchange for limits on centrifuge work and research and development at other sites, officials have told The Associated Press.

The trade-off would allow Iran to run several hundred of the devices at its Fordo facility, although the Iranians would not be allowed to do work that could lead to an atomic bomb and the site would be subject to international inspections, according to Western officials familiar with details of negotiations now underway. In return, Iran would be required to scale back the number of centrifuges it runs at its Natanz facility and accept other restrictions on nuclear-related work.

Instead of uranium, which can be enriched to be the fissile core of a nuclear weapon, any centrifuges permitted at Fordo would be fed elements such as zinc, xenon or germanium for separating out isotopes used in medicine, industry or science, the officials said. The number of centrifuges would not be enough to produce the amount of uranium needed to produce a weapon within a year — the minimum time-frame that Washington and its negotiating partners demand.

I would like to add that when the story broke over a year ago about the politicization of the IRS, presumably by the Obama admin, where they started targeting conservative groups, pro constitution groups and pro Israel groups, the actions of Obama towards Israel in the last few months lends a great deal of credibility to those claims I would venture to say.

Quell surprise…It should not surprise anyone any longer that this administration continues to persist in it’s characterization of Yemen as a foreign policy success.
Simply recall another ‘foreign policy success’ described with giddy pride:
Libya: “We came, we saw, he died”
The legacy of this administration’s ‘successes’ is measured by a bloody yardstick.

          • I agree. But he’s such a confused mess of commie, racist, Jew-hating liar– I don’t think he knows himself. Playing both sides – or all sides – against the middle.

Not that I care, not that it matters at this point who owns his markers.

  2. US soldier arrested over ‘plotting to support IS’ (BBC, March 26, 2015)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-32072501

“A US soldier and his cousin have been arrested and charged with conspiring to support the Islamic State, the Department of Justice has said. The National Guard soldier, 22, and the other man allegedly discussed using army uniforms and military access to attack an Illinois military facility. The soldier also planned to travel to the Middle East to fight with the Islamic State, say prosecutors.

Both men have been charged with trying to provide support to a terror group. The FBI arrested the soldier at Chicago Midway International Airport on Wednesday as he attempted to fly to Cairo, and arrested his 29-year-old cousin at his suburban home on the same day.

Both men have been charged with one count of conspiring to provide material support and resources to a foreign terrorist organisation. They face up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 (£167,800), if found guilty….”

  3. Iraq crisis: Tikrit push ‘no longer led by Shia militias’ (BBC, March 26, 2015)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-32074224

“A US general says Iranian-backed Shia militias in Iraq are no longer leading the operation to recapture Tikrit from Islamic State (IS) militants. Gen Lloyd Austin, head of US Central Command, said the pullback was a precondition for US-led air strikes, which began on Wednesday night. Iraqi forces then launched a final push to drive IS from the city. Iraq had asked the US-led coalition to mount air strikes on militants in Tikrit after the offensive stalled.

Gen Austin told the US Senate Armed Services Committee about 4,000 Iraqi army and federal police personnel were now carrying out “clearing operations” in Tikrit. He said the operation to retake Tikrit had stalled partly because ground forces were not being properly controlled by the Iraqi government.

He added that the campaign had also lacked a coherent plan for ground movements. The US had insisted on a better plan and the pullback of the militias as preconditions for its involvement, he said. “Once those conditions were met – which included Shia militias not being involved – then we were able to proceed,” he told lawmakers.

The operation to retake the city, about 160km (100 miles) north of Baghdad, began earlier this month with more than 20,000 soldiers, police and Shia militiamen from the Popular Mobilisation (Hashid Shaabi) units. Tikrit was the hometown of ousted Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. The city fell to IS last June and its recapture is considered a key step towards driving the militants from Iraq’s second city of Mosul, further north.”

MPs warn on growing numbers of British jihadists (BBC, March 26, 2015)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-32059813

“Not enough is being done to prevent people leaving the UK to join Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, a group of MPs has warned. Keith Vaz, chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee, said Britain must win their “hearts and minds”. The committee’s report comes as the BBC launches a database tracking British jihadists in Syria and Iraq.

It shows that many people left in clusters from certain UK areas – often due to friendships and peer groups. The MPs’ report argues that preventative work with communities, families and international partners is “vital” and needs to be a top priority for the Home Office.

“The number of cases being brought to public attention should ring alarm bells,” said Labour MP Mr Vaz. “This must be a relentless battle for hearts and minds, and without a strong counter-narrative we are in danger of failing to prevent even more departures. We are at the edge of a cliff.”

The BBC has been tracking the stories of the men, women, boys and girls who have gone to Syria and Iraq to understand why they go, where they go from and what happens to them.

By analysing around 160 profiles, it reveals the way in which people have travelled in clusters – a group of three young friends from Coventry, another group from Portsmouth, drawn out by one person they knew, others in Cardiff linked to people involved in an extremist organisation. Social media might play a part but face-to-face contact appears just as, if not more, important, according to the database.

The BBC research emphasises the extent to which real-world contacts, rather than just online connections, are often a key driver of radicalisation and intent to travel to Iraq and Syria. Some of the experts who appeared before the Home Affairs Committee also argued the internet was a secondary influence. They said that universities and prisons were among the two most significant places where radicalisation occurred….”

  5. #3 That document about the Israeli nuclear program is very old. Like from the cold war old. Like when we and the Russians were tricking each other about weapons systems. For instance by making documents that we figured they’d get their hands on via espionage.

Israel wasn’t just flat out developing nuclear weapons. They were, with the aid of the US, engaging in a psychological strategy called “Nuclear Ambiguity”. The whole point of that was that we and the Israelis wanted people to THINK THEY MIGHT have nuclear weapons.

If they’d tested a nuclear warhead then people would know but the only “evidence” is a hypothesis that it’s physically possible for them to have done so in cooperation with South Africa.

The Americans would know and keep it secret, sure. But the Russians would know and a) tell their Arab friends. b) pump that proof right into western media everywhere they could.

Yet in all the time evidence could and would have been found, Israel has been able to maintain “Nuclear Ambiguity”.

Surely the arabs would field spies to find out for sure. Yet we rarely to never hear them complain about Israel’s nuclear weapons. They only became concerned to the point of alarm about nuclear weapons and started wanting their own for protection when IRAN started developing them.

Nobody worried about a nuclear arms race in the ME while Israel supposedly might have nukes, but they are now that Iran is seeking nukes.

Bottom line: Israel doesn’t really have nukes and everyone in a position to know is aware. I think that “evidence” is really a part of a CIA operation meant to trick the Russians and/or Israel’s enemies.

    • Boy that backfired. Now we have Iran actually building what appears to be a formidable nuclear arsenal, getting tons of support from Western centrists to center leftists all because ‘Israel has nukes so why shouldn’t they!’.

The argument holds no water but it does hold votes. Now Israel is going up against Iranian nukes with ambiguous ones. Good luck on that.

In a nation where half the street sweepers in the 1970s were capable of designing advanced nuclear weapons one would have hoped they made a few.

      • None of us knows anything.
No one who writes what we may read knows anything.
That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to know about.
Ultimately it comes down to trust.

      • Backfired. Not exactly. For one thing it might have given Israel’s neighbors an extra excuse not to start and loose embarrassing wars anymore, weather they were fooled by the ambiguity or not.

And lets face it. If Israel had nukes, they wouldn’t have to care if anyone knew about it. After all, Pakistan, India and North Korea don’t seem too worried that people know they have nuclear weapons.

The whole point of having such weapons is so people know you have them. But the point of POSSIBLY having such weapons is to make people worried that you might without having to go through the trouble and expense of actually producing them.

    • A good analysis but I think you are wrong, that would be a very big bluff that would destroy Israel if called. Also I have heard from other sources that Israel worked with South Africa to develop nukes and that the test of their weapons was covered by the South African test.

      • re: the South African test. That’s one of the reasons I became suspicious. The only “proof” given of them testing a nuke was that they coulda maybe possibly could have done so so along with South Africa in the Indian Ocean. That sort of coulda maybe possibly sort of “proof” is one of the tell tale signs of malarky. After we read the qualifying element of such an assertion, we tend to forget it.

So “it’s not impossible that xxx to do yyy” becomes over time “I heard that xxx did yyy”.

When governments test nukes everyone knows. You just can’t hide something that big from espionage agencies. At the very least the Russians would have known and someone could have found something damning when people were allowed into the KGB archives during glasnost.

Even if there surfaced solid proof that a nuke had been set off in the Indian Ocean near a South African ship, that could only mean that South Africa tested a nuke. You could say that any nation did the test in conjunction with them and without a real witness it would be just as provable. One might as well assert that they did the test in partnership with Atlantis.

There is no verified paper proof or witnesses that South Africa did that and there’s no verified paper proof or witnesses that Israel was any part of that test. Just stories and hearsay.

It’s not fantastical for a country to do this. Right before the invasion of Iraq, Saddam Hussein dicked around WMD inspectors even though Iraq didn’t currently have a WMD program because he wanted people to think he might still have them and think twice about invading.

        • The info I received was that the test was further south and that both Israeli and South African people were present, the Israelis were reported to have helped the South Africans build their first device in return for the first South African test being of an Israeli device. My source is usually very reliable.

And of course, if he doesn’t have a card in his pocket with, “Member-in-good-standing of well-known terrorist organization” written on it, they’ll declare with great finality that they have ruled out terrorism as a motive. Ruled it right out…

If it’s not Jihad, what kind of monster would choose to end his own life and impose the same thing on 150 innocent human beings? How could a guy get to 28-years-old without anybody noticing he was more evil than Satan? We’d be talking about a real psychopathic puppy-smasher here. Or maybe the guy was a late-presenting schizophrenic, hearing disembodied voices in the air telling him to crash the plane or the Martian Spider-people will return. It could be that…
