1. Is the US planning to create the same situation with Iran it did with North Korea?

Sherman negotiated the US’s nuclear pact with North Korea in the 1990s. The North Koreans used the deal as a smokescreen behind which they developed nuclear weapons while receiving financial assistance from the US which paid off the regime for signing the deal.

Once Pyongyang was ready to come out as a nuclear power, it threw out the nuclear inspectors, opened the sealed nuclear sites, vacated its signature on the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and began testing nuclear bombs.

Sherman is now the US’s chief negotiator in the P5+1 nuclear talks with Iran.

2. Terrorist attack in Israel, man runs over 5 police with car then goes on stabbing spree.

3. The Ottawa Citizen, one of the newspapers in Canada with the most gravitas, concedes that some muslims define jihad thusly in an article about the soon-to-be-released video of the muslim who attacked Parliament hill:

He spoke just long enough to talk about the actions he was soon to take, and put them into the context of “jihad,” the Arabic word for struggle that is associated — moderate Muslims argue wrongly — with a struggle against non-believers. He took aim at Canada’s foreign policy, threatened the Canadian military and invoked “Allah.”

(The Ottawa Citizen may have done well to read Reliance of the traveler B2.2, E4.4, H8.17, and my personal favorite, Reliance of the Traveler book o9.0:)

“@(O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad.”

(In other words, jihad is legally defined in islam as military expedition against unbelievers for the purpose of inflicting them with islamic rule. The desperation of media to assist an enemy of freedom of speech will baffle future historians for centuries. Unless we lose. Then it will all look like Allah’s will.)

4. Muslims from the IS take their war against ‘the time of ignorance’ seriously. This article covers some of that. This blog has many articles showing how where muslims control the territory sufficiently they will destroy all evidence of pre-islamic life as a requirement by islamic law.

5. Confusing article about the culling of books at the Concordia jihad library.

“Are we going back to the dark ages?”

(Would you trust that guy to pick which books your kids should read?)

6. Three arrested for threat to Halifax Mall

7. Gay man surprised that onlookers just stand there and watch as muslims drop homosexuals from building and stone them. This may be one of those times where that tired poem about, ‘they came for the Jews’ is actually appropriate. Suddenly islamic rules means something to him.

8. Syria conflict: Clashes near Aleppo intelligence HQ

Fierce clashes are taking place in the Syrian city of Aleppo, near the Air Force Intelligence facility attacked by rebels on Wednesday, activists say.

A security source was quoted as saying that government forces had launched an assault on rebel positions in the west of the city on Thursday morning.

There was no immediate information on casualties.

10. ‘Boko Haram’ kills dozens in raid on Nigerian village

Suspected Boko Haram militants have killed at least 45 people in a village in Borno state, north-east Nigeria, witnesses have said.

The gunmen who stormed Njaba targeted men and boys before setting the village on fire, survivors added.

The raid happened early on Tuesday but was not reported immediately because of the remoteness of the area.

Boko Haram has killed thousands of people in its drive to establish an Islamic state.

  1. Robert Spencer: The ‘Islamophobia’ Scam Returns

    http://www.frontpagemag.com/2015/robert-spencer/the-islamophobia-scam-returns/

Mr. Spencer’s review of the hard left Center for American Progress’ new edition of its “Islamophobia” report, “Fear, Inc. 2.0: The Islamophobia Network’s Efforts to Manufacture Hate in America.”

    The report itself is here:

    https://cdn.americanprogress.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/FearInc-report2.11.pdf

And here is what the report has to say about ‘the moderate Muslim,’ poor Zudhi Jasser:

    ‘The Mark Levin Show

Mark Levin is another talk show hosts [sic] who gives the microphone to biased voices against Islam, such as Zudhi Jasser. Jasser has repeated conspiracy theories that the Park51 community center in New York City is an example of Islamic extremism that seeks to “create Islamic states.”’

  2. 3/ Somehow I had missed the detail before now that the Muslim terrorist’s body was flown to Libya for a decent Muslim burial. Muslim terrorists planning future attacks on Canadian soil might be forgiven for getting the impression that Canada treats Muslim terrorists with shariah-compliant respect even in death. Understandably, they might view Canada as a good place to seek martyrdom.

    • Brian Lilley: The denial over the terrorist attack in Ottawa could end soon. Here’s why

      • He says “doing it for g-o-d?” when he means “doing it for allah“. As if the two were interchangeable.

  3. 5/ Some good could come of this if Concordia’s librarians do actually read authentic Islamic texts. Those texts don’t need to be ‘culled’ (what an image! Killing the weaker ones in the herd?) or banned or burned, they need indeed to be ‘freely aired and debated,’ the last thing taqiyya-artist Salam Elmenyawi actually wants.

  4. TURKEY – Party supporter to Erdogan: Welcome, O Messenger of God!

An alleged supporter of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) welcomed President Recep Tayyip Erdogan by chanting “Welcome, O Messenger of God,” a phrase commonly used to refer to the Prophet Muhammad, in the latest in a series of similar remarks attributing divine qualities to Erdogan.

Erdogan, along with Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin and BeyoGlu Mayor Ahmet Misbah Demircan, paid a visit on Thursday to the headquarters of Tophane Tayfun Spor, an Istanbul-based amateur football club where Erdogan played football in his youth. An individual was heard greeting Erdo?an with the chant, “Welcome, O Messenger of God,” addressing the president as a prophet although this is considered a grave sin in Islam, as a core principle of Islam is the belief that the Prophet Muhammad is the final prophet.

Some AK Party officials and members have become the focus of public attention for making remarks in praise of Erdogan attributing holy qualities to the president.

One recent example was a billboard in the Gölbas? district of Ad?yaman province inviting people to attend a “holy birthday” event to celebrate Erdogan’s birthday. The negative reaction this billboard received on social media stems from the fact that such an event is usually held to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.

The billboard was an invitation to “a program of unity and togetherness organized on the occasion of the birthday of our president.” The event was organized by the Gölbas? Municipality.

In a similar vein, Deputy Health Minister Agah Kafkas once said: “When we lay the foundation of a [facility], we also provide the date of its opening. This is the sunnah of Tayyip Erdogan.” The sunnah is considered the way of life or set of practices for Muslims based on the life of the Prophet Muhammad and his teachings. No government officials or supporters have publicly objected to the statements.

In another example, AK Party Bursa deputy Hüseyin Sahin at one point said that touching Erdogan is a form of prayer, while AK Party Düzce deputy Fevai Arslan said Erdogan has all the attributes of God.

Well, I guess they really are.

  5. The Obama administration’s response to Netanyahu is premised on one very shaky assumption

In 2007, North Korea shut down its 5-megawatt reactor at Yongbyon. In 2013, it simply upgraded the reactor and switched it back on again. It’s much easier for a country to reactivate existing nuclear infrastructure than it is for its rivals to build an international consensus toward doing something about it. The deal may leave Iran with the option of ramping up its program once the agreement expires – and the U.S. with few options for stopping Tehran if it ever needed to.

The Sun Sets on a Good Iran Deal

There’s so much wrong with the emerging Iran nuclear deal that it’s hard to know where to begin. But as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made clear in his speech this week to Congress, the biggest flaw is almost certainly the deal’s so-called sunset provision.

    • If you carry the arguments to their logical conclusion you are faced with a very nasty future for every western nation. Iran will control Iraq and Syria with Turkey probably being a satrap of Iran, Israel will be in a very nasty position and everyone in Europe with a working brain is going to have insomnia from worrying about when Iran is going to invade Europe.

Michael Brown’s family plans to file wrongful-death lawsuit

Another law suit that will start abt the time riot season hits. I think this suit is against Missouri law, someone that is injured or killed committing a felony is not suppose to be able to sue for damages. Having a Judge toss the suit may be the whole purpose of the suit.

I’ll watch an execution but not a video of Jew-bashing, or incitement to same. That’s a lesson from watching the riots during the summer’s Gaza campaign.

      • If you want to avoid excess stress avoid the news headlines tomorrow, I can’t find any articles on the net about it but I did hear a commentator on FOX this morning talking about how Obama intends to “dismiss” all of the Ferguson police and have them replaced.

    • Muslim Woman arrested after trying to crash into MIA terminal set to face judge

MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Fla. (WSVN) — A woman arrested at Miami International Airport after she allegedly, with intent, rammed her car into a police cruiser in an attempt to crash into the terminal will be facing a federal judge Friday afternoon.

According to Miami-Dade Police, the female driver apparently tried to drive her silver Toyota Camry through the doors of the departure section of Concourse D, just after 4 p.m. Thursday. “She came from the outer loop and drove into the inner loop, in what appears to be a direct attempt to breach, a security breach through the front doors utilizing the vehicle,” said Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta.

Before she could hit the terminal, however, she crashed into a Miami-Dade Police cruiser and came to a halt. It is unknown whether the cruiser was occupied at the time.

Officials said the woman exhibited unusual behavior and began making threatening remarks to responding officers. “They ran over to where the subject was, and that’s when she began to yell in what appeared to be an Arabic language,” said Zabaleta, “and then in English told the responding officers she had a bomb in her possession.”

Police had the entire upper level closed to traffic and cleared all media reporting at the airport from the scene, which was described as “tense.” They then brought out bomb-sniffing dogs to check the woman out as well as her car.

As FBI and Homeland Security agents also arrived on the scene, passengers were stunned. “Oh, we get a little concerned because, you know, you see a lot of police cars,” said passenger Fatima Dias.

[…]Maradiagaiscoa was then taken into custody. A photo captures the handcuffed woman sitting on a luggage cart with her hands behind her back. The FBI said there seems to be no connection to terrorism in this case.
