1. Post-Gadhafi Libya now a jihadist springboard backed by Iran, Qatar, Sudan and Turkey

The consolidation of a self-proclaimed Caliphate in eastern Libya provides the jihadist camp with springboard into Africa and southern Europe.

That strategic thrust, supported strongly by Qatar, Sudan, Iran, and Turkey, has already begun, and highlights the transformation of the takfiri jihadist movements, the Muslim Brothers (Ikhwan), and many of the former Al Qaida movements.

Although jihadist forces occupied Tripoli in October 2011 — as a direct result of the Western military intervention which helped bring down the Moammar al-Gadhafi Administration in Libya — they failed to consolidate power and focus on all-Islamist causes. Subsequently, Libya sank into the still-escalating fratricidal fighting between a myriad of militias and localized forces.

2. U.S. Ambassador Lippert attacked in South Korea

March 2015: U.S. Ambassador Mark Lippert was attacked by an individual during a lecture in South Korea on Wednesday. The suspected assailant was detained by police. Lippert was taken to a hospital for treatment.

(One has to wonder if the serious degree to which Obama has weakened the United States isn’t responsible for every punk to think he can attack an ambassador. I suppose he should count himself lucky that he isn’t in Libya)

3. Documents from the Bin Laden compound show how Al Qaeda was planning to hijack the Arab Spring

(I would say they succeeded admirably)

As the so-called “Arab Spring” swept through the Muslim-majority world in 2011, some US officials and counterterrorism analysts proclaimed that al Qaeda had been left “on the sidelines.”

However, the limited selection of publicly-available documents captured in Osama bin Laden’s compound in May 2011 tell a different story. The al Qaeda chieftain and his subordinates saw an opportunity.

4.  Imam Who Said Ayaana Hirsi Ali Deserved Death Penalty Was Hired By DOJ To Teach Muslim Classes To Federal Prisoners

An Egyptian-born imam who in 2007 said that Somali-born activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali should receive the death penalty for her criticism of Islam is now a Department of Justice contractor hired to teach classes to Muslims who are in federal prison.

According to federal spending records, Fouad ElBayly, the imam at Islamic Center of Johnstown in Pennsylvania, was contracted by the DOJ’s Bureau of Prisons beginning last year to teach the classes to Muslim inmates at Cumberland Federal Correctional Institution in Cumberland, Md.

5. RCMP to show Zehaf-Bibeau video on Friday

The RCMP obtained the video after the October attack, in which Zehaf-Bibeau shot and killed Cpl. Nathan Cirillo at the War Memorial and then stormed Parliament Hill, where he died in a shootout. […]

On Wednesday morning, the committee released a notice for the meeting which said it would receive a “briefing by the Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to publicly display and discuss the video made by the individual who committed barbaric terrorist acts in Ottawa on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.”

However, within about 30 minutes, the committee abruptly changed the wording of that notice to tone down its language, remove the word “barbaric”, and simply say that Paulson would deliver a briefing “on a video” made by the person who “committed terrorists acts” on Oct 22, 2014.

  1. Many people will remember Harris. Some will remember Wood, too. He managed to expose more or less the true nature of the Islamic State in the rotten mainstream media. Here they have a lengthy exchange…

The True Believers – Sam Harris and Graeme Wood discuss the Islamic State (March 4, 2015)
    http://www.samharris.org/blog/item/the-true-believers

“Graeme Wood writes for The Atlantic, where he covers a wide range of subjects, including education, science, books, and politics, and he has reported frequently from the Middle East since the early 2000s. In the March issue of the magazine, he published a lengthy investigation of the ideology of the so-called Islamic State—which included the controversial claim that the Islamic State is, despite its deep unpopularity with most Muslims, Islamic.

Wood was kind enough to speak with me at great length on this topic.—SH…..”

  2. World bows to Iran’s hegemony

The problem with Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress March 3 was not the risk of offending Washington, but rather Washington’s receding relevance. President Barack Obama is not the only leader who wants to acknowledge what is already a fact in the ground, namely that “Iran has become the preeminent strategic player in West Asia to the increasing disadvantage of the US and its regional allies,” as a former Indian ambassador to Oman wrote this week.

    • In the article the author says the deal will be made because the world wants peace, the problem is Iran doesn’t they want to bring back the Mahdi.

  3. @ 3 – The Arab spring was planned by the leftist who taught Obama and was always intended to bring about the fall of all pro western Islamic governments.

@ 4 – What else do you expect from this administration?
