  1. Revolting as she is, I would rather have my eyelids pinned open watching Shahina Siddiqui’s taqiyya-ridden dissimulation than Grant Mitchell’s jihad-enabling whitewash and vote-whoring or whatever that was. By my count he managed to get eleven 9s after the decimal point in his estimation of how many of Canada’s 1.3 million Muslims are just like him. If by that he means they are lying pieces of crap he has a point. Perhaps Senator Mitchell is on some foreign payroll we’re not hearing about. Fantastic job on the part of Marc Lebuis in a setting hardly ideal for describing reality.

    • Marc Lebuis was impressive and well prepared for the flood of vacuous denials attempting to undermine his presentation of well documented facts. His even keel and reassuring personality is a good blend for such receptions.

  2. 174 People Die in Extremist Attacks in Kenya in 2014: Police (abcnews, Feb 25, 2015)

“Kenya’s police force says 174 people were killed in 2014 in attacks by Islamic extremists, the highest number in the three years that Kenya has experienced violence blamed on neighboring Somalia’s al-Shabab militants.

In statistics released Wednesday the Kenyan police said 312 people were killed in the country in militant attacks since 2012 and 779 people were wounded during the period.

Al- Shabab has vowed retribution for Kenya sending troops to Somalia. Kenya deployed its troops to Somalia in October 2011 to fight the extremist rebels who had carried out cross border attacks including the kidnapping of four Europeans.

Al-Shabab, in a video released Saturday, threatened more attacks similar to its 2013 assault on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi, in which 67 people were killed.”

  3. 20,000 Egyptians Flee Libya After Beheadings, Airstrikes (abcnews, Feb 25, 2015)

“An Egyptian border official says some 20,000 Egyptians have fled Libya since the release of a grisly beheading video by Islamic State militants.

The video, showing the beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians, prompted Cairo to launch retaliatory airstrikes and ban Egyptians from traveling to the increasingly volatile North African country.

Fawzi Nayel, security chief at the Salloum crossing, told The Associated Press an average of 2,000 to 3,000 Egyptians have crossed daily from Libya in the 10 days since the video was released. Many have come from Sirte, the central city where the 21 Coptic Christians were abducted.

He said no mass evacuation is underway in the east, which is largely controlled by the internationally recognized Libyan government, and that Egyptians in western Libya are crossing into Tunisia.”

      • The first dozen minutes is an intro w/background info on contributors to report.
At around the 27 minute mark, discussion of availability/placement of military assets mentions the regions which our assets have no presence. He mentions Russia’s increased efforts in the Arctic to secure shipping lanes. ..triggering a historic reminder of Europe’s reasons for seeking secure commerce routes across little explored western seas – away from Barbary treachery. Given his remarks @ Africa security concerns…hmmmm.
