More media libels against Israel and odd odd artifacts in the ‘peace tunnel’ in Toronto. Links 2 on Feb. 24 – 2015

1. The peace tunnel in Toronto had only one clue as to who built it.

Clearly this was meant to launch a terrorist attack by Catholics who support our war vets.

2. Eight shot dead in a restaurant in the Czech republic. (Gunman also killed but no one thought to ask his name first)

(Sky News twitter feed on this here as well)

15.33 The BBC report that the gunman was described as “mindless shooting”.

15.30 Milan Chovanec, the interior minister, said on Twitter he is on his way to the scene.

15.26 The Czech prime minister, Bohuslav Sobotka, has said he is shocked by the attack, according to local media.

15.19 Apparently the shooter was 60-year-old local man, and described by local mayor as “unstable”, Matthew Day reports.

3. Father attacks teenage daughter with a belt after she etches the name of a boy on her arm – then orders her to remove it with a heated KNIFE

(I think the clue in this article is that: “The ‘zealous’ assault was only discovered when a teacher at the girl’s school noticed her injuries. When asked about the incident the father still did not understand what he had done wrong.”

4. Investors.Com: Muslim Immigration Poses Serious National Security Threat

France, Belgium and now even liberal Denmark regret letting in so many immigrants from Muslim countries. Their swelling Islamic communities have become breeding grounds for terrorists. So why is the U.S. opening the floodgates to foreign Muslims?

The threat Muslim immigrants pose to homeland security was not addressed during the White House’s three-day summit on terrorism.

Instead, Vice President Joe Biden assured Muslim groups gathered during one session that the “wave” of Muslim immigration is “not going to stop.”

Wave? More like a tsunami.

5. Nigeria suicide bombers target Potiskum and Kano buses

Suicide bombings at bus stations in two major commercial centres in northern Nigeria have killed at least 27 people, police and hospital sources say.

A bomber first struck in Potiskum, and hours later a second attack took place in Kano, the main northern city.

Hospital sources said 17 people were killed in Potiskum while police put the number of dead in Kano at 10.

6. Urgency Builds in Nigeria as Boko Haram Threatens to Engulf West Africa

If the Obama Administration is serious about making progress in defense of America’s best interests, the President and his national security team will forthwith request resources from Congress to rid Nigeria of the scourge called Boko Haram, while also swiftly implementing a robust plan to crush the Islamic State, what remains of Al Qaeda, and other adherents of radical Islamist jihad.

Horrific as reality now appears inside Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Yemen (places where America so far has intervened without achieving victory), Nigeria and Boko Haram present another vexing set of threats that America and what remains of the civilized world cannot ignore for much longer.

The case against Boko Haram is not nuanced. It is unambiguous. This band of Islamic rejectionists denies all benefits from modernity and commits unspeakable atrocities. In doing so, Boko Haram is already a potent threat to oil-exporting Nigeria, to neighboring African nations, and potentially to the entire world.

8. Spain arrests 4 people suspected of recruiting for ISIS

Madrid (CNN)From Spain, they used the Internet and social media to recruit and indoctrinate young, potential Islamist militants to work for ISIS.

They even attracted Facebook followers as far away as Latin America, the United States, Belgium and France.

But on Tuesday, Spain’s Civil Guard forces arrested four suspects in different parts of the country suspected of recruiting for ISIS, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

Two key suspects were arrested in the Spanish enclave of Melilla, on Morocco’s north coast — where previous arrests for Islamist militant activity have occurred.

Those two, who were not immediately identified by authorities, translated ISIS material to Spanish, and their recruitment targets included women.

9. VICE News once again carries water for the far left and now the irrational Anti Israel crowd. Lots and lots of water. Except it doesn’t exist. As in the picture, the buckets are empty. As they say, there are lies, damned lies, and media reporting on Israel.

Thank you UK Pete, M., Richard, Wrath of Khan, Charles O., Tundra T., and all. More to come including some interesting testimony to the Canadian Senate committee on National Security by a woman who is high up in the CAIR echelon but did not bother to inform the committee that she in fact was with them at all.

    • Abu Khaled Toameh speaks English with a Hebrew accent, not Arabic. That means his first language was Hebrew instead of Arabic, as one would expect from his name. Unusual background, I’d say.

    • Ugh, I can’t stand reading any more of these stories. While their children go hungry Hamas has the money to train women as Jihadis. Rather then spending money on housing and public works the BILLIONS they get every year is placed into concrete reinforced tunnels and Jihadi training.
There was an organization known as “Protest Warrior” several years ago, that produced a film just before Israel gave up Gaza to the barbarians. They showed the greenhouses that Israeli concerns administered that were just beautiful.
They are now gone, ruined, by the “peaceful Palestinians” They were looted for their plumbing and glass…
I wonder if this video is on youtube or some other venue. It was a real eye opener for me.

  1. @4 It is a tidal wave, one that could be stopped if we had a government that wanted to stop it.

    • I tore through several of her books. My family was amazed that I could speed read. Your bringing her up again wants me to read her books anew. And yes, I do have a copy of Inshallah…
What I do remember most was her denigration of the Pope. I recall her saying that everything the man owned “right down to the underwear he wears” was bought by the faithful…
Also, her interview with Khomeini where she had to undergo a false marriage in order to be escorted by a male to his presence. She also had to wear a headscarf which she threw off at the end of the interview.
I would have loved to meet her.

      • If it hadn’t been obvious that the left was going to take over the campuses I would have probably tried to get a doctorate in History and a job teaching at a collage.

          • Nah, if I had the money spending the rest of my life in collage taking classes I am interested in would be my idea of heaven.

            • Yeah, me too.
Actually once I started to go to regular school – when I got to college – I loved it, hung around forever. In fact I’m still in an academic environment here in The Hub.

I take this blog like a course.

    • All of these predictions assume that nothing will change and that there will be no push back, personally I think the various patriotic groups will succeed in saving Europe. But only after a long hard fight.

    • It’s too deeply implanted in the minds of those who watched war-TV or spent their college years protest-marching. That damaged the minds of textbook history writers.

Like Palestinians deeply programmed to hate Israelis. Or Europeans who call Israel genocidal. Near impossible to eradicate.

        • Given enough time the schools will teach the facts and not the lies, a lot of University level histories are now teaching the JFK was a terrible president who was unable to get anything through Congress. In other words a loser who couldn’t have been re-elected.

            • What I like is the fact that kids will be going up to the surviving protesters and asking, “Grandpa/ma why was anyone so stupid that they protested saving people from slavery?”

              • THAT for sure will be given a very light brush, if anything.

We didn’t study much about the isolationists before WWII, or the traitors, like Papa Joe Kennedy in the Court of St. James, etc.

  2. Libyan Army Spokesperson: Libya’s Largest ISIS Camp Just 45km from Tunisia

The biggest ISIS camp is reportedly only 45km away from the Tunisian border, according to Libyan army spokesperson, Ahmed Mesmari in an interview with Tunisian daily newspaper Assarih. Mesmari stated that around three to four thousands militants are training in a camp in Sabratha, most of whom are Tunisians and foreigners connected to other alleged terrorist groups in Tunisia.

Mesmari claimed that the number of Tunisian fighters in Libya have drastically increased in Derna. Six Tunisian suicide bombers killed themselves in Benghazi according to Mesmari, while another Tunisian blew himself up using an ambulance car.

“We have a list of a number of Libyan and Tunisian charity organizations that are supporting ISIS,” and work through social media, Mesmari said. He further added that it was the Libyan army’s willingness that revealed the true nature of these alleged charity organizations to the Tunisian authorities.

Tunisian Foreign Minister Tayeb Baccouche reiterated on Sunday Tunisia’s position of neutrality toward the different Libyan factions, a position which the Libyan army spokesperson expressed respect.

  3. INDIA [ Muslim ] Kashmiris join insurgency against India at highest rate in two decades

[…]At least 14 of them have been killed, the army said.”Youth joining the militancy is disturbing,” Subrata Saha, the head of Indian army in Kashmir, said recently. “If educated youth are joining, it is more disturbing. It is certainly is a cause of concern for us.”

Two of the new recruits have doctorates and eight were post graduates, the army data showed.

[…]India accuses Pakistan of training and arming the rebels in the portion of Kashmir it controls and sending them to the Indian side.

  4. Tommy Robinson Discusses Life Before and After the EDL w/ NOTA

Sam Sholli and Tommy Robinson discuss his experiences in Luton, the English Defence League and its legacy, accusations of racism, the media, far-right groups (incl. Britain First), Charlie Hebdo, political correctness, fear, the Islamic world (incl. Iran, Syria and Turkey) and Islamic reformists. There are also other issues we discuss such as the current horrible treatment of Jews in Europe, Nick Griffin & the BNP, UK foreign policy, the UK’s economic relationship with Saudi Arabia and more!

    • thank you for providing this link. Tommy Robinson never disappoints. If you saw his Oxford debate you can skip the first hour. The second hour he gets into geo-politics, something I have never heard from him before. The second hour is well worth watching.

      • I was amazed by the second hour and, his overall demeanor during the interview. I have said many times, and Tommy has bared this out, if he wasn’t from the working class many more people would pay attention to him. Do you think he would have been placed in confinement if he didn’t have a message the British Gov’t wanted to suppress?
Luton has become a hell hole of Muslim culture. He grew up there. I can sympathize as we lived in SoCal while we watched the invasion…

  5. CANADA -Senate questions Muslim leader over alleged ties to radicals

A Muslim social services leader made an anti-radicalization submission to a Senate committee then faced tough questions about her own alleged association with radicals.

Shahina Siddiqui, of the Winnipeg-based Islamic Social Services Association, appeared before the Senate committee on national security and defence in Ottawa Monday.

She called on Muslims and non-Muslims to work together to combat ISIS and al-Qaida but also cautioned against “religious bigotry by Islamophobes.”

Committee chairman Sen. Daniel Lang and member Sen. Lynn Beyak questioned Siddiqui about her work as a board member with the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM), formerly known as CAIR-CAN.

The Ottawa advocacy group announced last year it was suing Prime Minister Stephen Harper for linking the organization with the terrorist group Hamas.

Senator Beyak asked Siddiqui about the connections between CAIR-CAN and CAIR-USA.

The U.S. group is an unindicted co-conspirator in a $12-million Hamas financing trial that led to guilty verdicts in Texas in 2008.

“How can we trust community organizations to help us develop a counter-radicalization narrative when they themselves are affiliated with organizations with known ties to terrorism?” Beyak asked.

Siddiqui told senators that CAIR-USA and CAIR-CAN/NCCM are not related.

But, in fact, Canada’s trademarks database indicates CAIR-USA applied for, and was granted, the trademark on the CAIR name in Canada in 2005.

On Monday, Siddiqui offered what appeared to be a defence of the Washington, D.C. group.”?”If they are unindicted then they’re not guilty,” she said.

The Senate committee has been assessing security threats to Canada since last summer while reviewing anti-radicalization measures.

Last year the RCMP publicly disavowed an anti-radicalization handbook it had created in partnership with Siddiqui’s NCCM, saying the booklet has an “adversarial tone.”

Lang asked Siddiqui about the “very extreme statements” made by certain Muslim scholars listed in the booklet.

Siddiqui defended the scholars and said the booklet’s critics don’t understand Islam.
