Denmark – Suggestion tabled for outright Censure in a proposed new anti-terror law

This is an original translation from Danish media by Liberty Dk.

Foreword by translator:

Apparently we Danes are to be legally blindfolded in the name of the war on terror.

In an article in today’s Danish daily newspaper MetroExpress, the following article can be found (see translation below).  Apparently the powers-that-be cannot tell the difference between people sharing information about what is really happening in the world vs. actually inciting and wanting to engage in terror…which of course, to a rational person, clearly is two different things entirely.  To this end they furthermore propose to use the Child Porn filter.

To sum it up…a person actively engaged in trying to warn the Western world about the numerous atrocities perpetrated in the name of Islam would, by law, be put in the very same box as either a terrorist or a person inciting to terror.

The press it seems would be getting a free pass in this regard.  We are apparently only to see those sanitized news blips the media chose for us to see.

Sadly, what is even more absurd is that, according to an on-going MetroExpress poll, most people agree.

Guess I’ll be going to the slammer!

SF wants to prohibit the sharing of terrorist videos

In a proposal which will be presented this week, the Socialist People’s Party (SF) will be tabling a suggestion which makes it illegal to share videos of terrorist attacks and beheadings.  In several terrorism cases in Denmark there has been found, on hard disks and smartphones, videos of Al Qaeda’s terror and IS beheadings.

“It must be explicitly forbidden to share these horrific videos. We will also want ISPs to censor incitement to terror.  To this end the idea the suggestion is that the child pornography filter can be taken into use so that it blocks access to sites with videos of executions and incitement to terror”, says the Chairman of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Karina Lorentzen (SF), who, however, wants to make an exception for the press.

SF further proposes that the National Police Cyber ??Crime Center monitors the network and go after Danes who praise and incite terrorism.

The Child porn filter is a collaboration between telephone companies and police that stops people who want to go to pages with sexual images of children. The telecommunication industry would like to discuss the possibility of using this tool.

“Execution Videos are awful and disgusting, and I understand as such also the thoughts behind the proposal”, writes director Jacob Willer, stressing that it will require careful consideration, since it pretty much amounts to censorship.

Both the Danish People’s Party (DF) Group Chairman Peter Skaarup and the Consersvative supports SF’s proposal. It is a proposal that we can fully support, says the Conservatives Mai Mercado.

While Liberal Karsten Lauritzen believes that the law is already sufficient. “We just need the right to make some cases to see if it should be allowed to share these video’s”.

[Editor comment: At the end of World War II then Supreme Allied commander Eisenhower ordered that the Nazi atrocities be well documented in order that:

Eisenhower, upon finding the victims of the death camps, ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead. He wrote the following to General Marshall after visiting a German internment camp near Gotha, Germany:

The visual evidence and the verbal testimony of starvation, cruelty and bestiality were so overpowering as to leave me a bit sick. In one room, where they [there] were piled up twenty or thirty naked men, killed by starvation, George Patton would not even enter. He said that he would get sick if he did so. I made the visit deliberately, in order to be in a position to give first-hand evidence of these things if ever, in the future, there develops a tendency to charge these allegations merely to “propaganda”.[21]

We should all make it our business to save and catalogue every video we can from the Islamic State in order that the horrors and rationale behind these horrors cannot be dismissed or denied.we do this although we  do not have to watch them all to spare our own psyches from damage. But it is a crime against history to prevent people from knowing the facts of this scale of barbarity and the motives for it. And I also affirm that knowing what Islam does to human beings and why damages them more than any 1 in a million deranged muslims that may join their cause

    • What about that Israeli kid stabbed in Crown Heights, at Chabad headquarters?
Boy is stabbed in the library. Police are trying to talk the guy with the knife down. Rabbis in the back saying, “Don’t shoot him!”.

It’s like seeing the little girl screaming because a poisonous insect is coming at her. You’ve got to swat it – you’re scared too! – then she’s crying, “Don’t kill it!”.

This is an Israeli child, no less.

      • The situation in Crown Heights was sickening. The Rabbis should have yelled “Blow this guy off the face of the map!”

            • It’s nice, they’re getting into the spirit of things.
I read that some of the very elderly rabbis were crawling around, attacking ankles. Giving permission so that a healthy young man might defend himself or his loved ones.

    • You don’t have to go to Denmark to commit an offence …an EU arrest warrant can be enforced in any EU country and that countries police force or judiciary have no power to interfere…… Even if the offence was not illegal in your own country!

        • Hell no!
Spain graciously offered me citizenship recently – maybe to stoke a new Bonfire of Vanities. Some tourist development project, an idiot PR gimmick.

People who take up this offer might be entitled to all the goodies of EU citizenship. Like not waiting in line at passport control? Becoming subject to EU hate-speech laws anywhere in the world?

So very few of their original candidates bothered to apply, they’ve expanded the criteria. Nobody I know was interested in finding out the details.

          • How very interesting. My husband and I travel a great deal and we have never been offered EU citizenship… What do you think caused them to offer you such?

            • Bloodline. Ladino. Public records going back to the 12th century. That’s how an Italian branch of the family escaped deportation to concentration camp. One of the cousins found the documents, they were deemed kosher, so Franco told Hitler, “Let my people go.”

A very long story getting a lot of coverage these days.

And funny. Because we were the real thing, but had zero interest. So they started opening it to Ashkenazis who could speak Spanish and perhaps had some money to invest in Spain?

I don’t know how that’s going, but meanwhile the Moriscos have become jealous, demanded Right of Return themselves. We’re a handful, they’re millions. Apparently the Spanish authorities hadn’t anticipated this complication and really didn’t want them…

              • In that case I could probably apply, one of my ancestors on my Mothers side was kidnapped in Castillian (sp?) Spain managed to get away in New Orleans. He went up river to Cape Girardeau.

              • Give it a try!
You might qualify for reparations. There’s an entire industry of Spanish lawyers working on claims for damages from just about everywhere in the world.. No contingency fees, though. Up front retainer.

    • Or the memory that children were building sand castles on the beach that day and no one had his head sawn off.

        • Find some Phillip K. Dick books, he is the man who wrote teh books Total Recall and Bladerunner are based on, he did a lot of work on what is reality? He wasn’t the only one who wrote about implanting things in peoples minds and about modifying peoples memories.

Yes the idea is scary and that is why the wanna be dictators will want the tech, it can do a lot of good but it can do a lot of bad.

      • That is where the new TB and measles epidemics came from. People who don’t know much history don’t know that the immigration camp at Ellis Island was to insure that various nasty germs and viruses weren’t allowed into the US.

    • For a look at the possible future this tech could bring read “Brave New World”, it is an old book but it and Beyond This Horizon are the two best books on the possible abuse and benefits of genetic engineering of the human genome.

  1. “To sum it up…a person actively engaged in trying to warn the Western world about the numerous atrocities perpetrated in the name of Islam would, by law, be put in the very same box as either a terrorist or a person inciting to terror.”

The Socialists determine that citizens are not mature enough to carry a gun, not intellectual enough to have information, not allowed to travel out. What’s not to like about The War on Terror? Because it is not a war on Ideology, on the mechanism of defeating minds.

Communists can rip up a brittle multicultural society with more holes than swiss cheese created to serve the lifestyle decadence of a political class.

    • Zombies do come back to life. They are anomalies, heaven knows, and this is clutching at straws, but the sheer fact that the process is reversible is something. It would be better if there were a serum, but given that there is something like a latent immunity that sometimes reasserts itself, there may be some faint hope of culturing a treatment that restores people to themselves.

I don’t know if anyone has been systematic enough in documenting the phenomenon in these times. I think it must be a confluence of minor events as often a bolt of lightning, a cumulative effect of small things that only someone who has undergone the experience could give a full account of, at least the ones he could remember or bring to consciousness. It’s unique to each individual but enough of a pattern might be teased out. The absurdity of outcomes over opportunities, for instance. Someone tugging at that irritating thread might unravel the whole fabric.

  2. Nigeria bus bomb kills more than a dozen in Potiskum (BBC, Feb 24, 2015)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-31604853

“A suicide bomb attack has killed more than a dozen people at a crowded bus station in Potiskum, north-eastern Nigeria.

A witness told the BBC that a bomber tried to board a bus as transport officials were loading it.

Hospital sources say 13 corpses have been taken to the town’s mortuary and more than 30 people have been injured.

It is the second attack on Potiskum in recent days. Both have been blamed on the militant group Boko Haram.

The Kano-bound bus was completely destroyed and other vehicles at the Dan-Borno bus station were also affected in Tuesday’s explosion.

Although no group has claimed responsibility for the latest attack, Boko Haram has stepped up suicide bombings against civilians in recent months….”

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-31600476

“Masked gunmen in southern Afghanistan have abducted 30 men from the Hazara ethnic minority, officials say.

The men were travelling by bus from Iran when they were seized in Zabul province, on the road to Kabul.

No group has said it carried out the abductions. Kidnappings for ransom are common in Afghanistan.

Unlike in Pakistan, Afghan Hazaras, who are mostly Shia Muslims, have been largely spared attacks by Sunni militants operating in both countries.

Eyewitnesses say gunmen wearing masks and black clothes forced a convoy of two buses to stop in Zabul province, on the road between Kandahar and the capital, on Monday night….”

  4. Yemen kidnap: French woman seized in capital Sanaa (BBC, Feb 24, 2015)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-31607326

“A French woman working for an international organisation in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, has been kidnapped, the French foreign ministry says.

Security sources say gunmen seized the woman and her Yemeni driver on Tuesday morning as she was going to work.

The French foreign ministry, which closed its embassy in Sanaa in February, said it was trying to locate and free the woman.

It gave no further details, but urged French citizens to leave the country.

Yemen is a base for al-Qaeda-affiliated militants and foreigners have been targets of kidnappings in the past.

The security situation in the country sharply deteriorated after President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi resigned in January following a takeover by a Shia militia group, the Houthis….”

“A US court in New York has found the Palestine Liberation Organisation and the Palestinian Authority liable for attacks in Israel over 10 years ago.

Six attacks in and around Jerusalem killed 33 people and wounded hundreds more during the second Palestinian intifada between 2002 and 2004.

The jury awarded victims of the attacks more than $218m.

The Palestinian groups expressed dismay at the court’s decision and vowed they would appeal.

As some of the victims were American citizens, the lawsuit was filed in a US court….”

  6. Why This American ‘Soldier of Christ’ Is Fighting ISIS in Iraq (abcnews, video, Feb 24, 2015)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/american-soldier-christ-fighting-isis-iraq/story?id=29171878

“He is 28 years old. Detroit born and bred. An Army veteran. And now he is a self-described “Soldier of Christ” back in Iraq, fighting ISIS on the front lines.

“People ask me, ‘Why you?’ I come back and I say, ‘Why not? Why just me? Where’s everyone else at?” said Brett, who requested that ABC News not use his last name to protect his family back home.

“Jesus says, you know, ‘What you do unto the least of them, you do unto me,'” he added. “I take that very seriously.”

Brett returned to Iraq six months ago. In 2006-07, he served in the infamous “Triangle of Death,” where he said he was badly wounded in an IED attack on his Humvee.

He came here, he told ABC News, to defend the defenseless — to protect the Christians and others in this part of Iraq who have been terrorized by the ISIS onslaught: driven from their homes, massacred, their women and girls raped and sold into slavery.

He is of Irish and Polish descent, raised Roman Catholic and now describes himself simply as a Christian.

Brett fights alongside a small, local Christian militia — the Dweikh Nawsha. They are under the command of Kurdish peshmerga forces in this part of Iraq.

From Brett’s forward position, in the deserted Christian village of Baqofa, about eight miles from the outskirts of the city of Mosul in northern Iraq, you can see the black flags of ISIS whipping against the sky in a stiff winter wind.

We joined him there to hear his story.”

  7. Bombs in Iraq, Including Twin Blasts in Busy Street, Kill 40 (abcnews, Feb 24, 2015)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/iraq-officials-bombings-kill-people-baghdad-29178420

“A series of bombings in Iraq, including twin blasts in a busy street in a Baghdad suburb, killed at least 40 people and wounded dozens on Tuesday, Iraqi officials said.

The deadliest of the day’s attacks came shortly before sunset, when a bomb exploded in Baghdad’s southeastern suburb of Jisr Diyala. Minutes later, a car bomb went off near the site of the first blast as people started gathering to help the victims of the initial explosion.

The casualty toll in Jisr Diyala rose throughout the evening, and within hours, police and hospital officials said that at least 25 people had been killed and that 50 were wounded, including several students who had just come out of a nearby school after class. The police sealed off the attack area….”

  8. Spain arrests 4 people suspected of recruiting for ISIS (CNN, Feb 24, 2015)
    http://edition.cnn.com/2015/02/24/europe/spain-isis-recruitment-arrests/index.html

“From Spain, they used the Internet and social media to recruit and indoctrinate young, potential Islamist militants to work for ISIS.

They even attracted Facebook followers as far away as Latin America, the United States, Belgium and France.

But on Tuesday, Spain’s Civil Guard forces arrested four suspects in different parts of the country suspected of recruiting for ISIS, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

Two key suspects were arrested in the Spanish enclave of Melilla, on Morocco’s north coast — where previous arrests for Islamist militant activity have occurred.

Those two, who were not immediately identified by authorities, translated ISIS material to Spanish, and their recruitment targets included women.

In addition to using the Internet, the two key suspects also held discreet meetings in homes, showing the latest ISIS videos to recruits, the Interior Ministry said. The statement also said some recruits were preparing to travel to conflict zones.

The other two suspects were arrested near Barcelona and in the province to the north, Girona.

The Interior Ministry said one of them edited and distributed recruitment videos, and the other was more of a “lone wolf” who had consumed indoctrination material and started a campaign to persuade others. “

This idiotic cocooning of the Danish people from seeing the harsh realities of what islam does to people is a disservice to Danes. Danes themselves have the intelligence to evaluate media and chose to view or not view whatever is presented. To deny them that choice is to treat them like children. The only population group needing to be treated like children are muslims. But muslims themselves should be forced to see the most graphic results produced by members of their cult.
