1. Interesting little bust of one of CAIR’s main characters.

(I find it interesting when people lie when it is far from the only option. Speaks a lot to their character)

2. MAJOR UPDATE: 8 Suicide Bombers Killed After Penetrating Iraq al-Asad Airbase Where 300 U.S. Marines are Stationed (VIDEO REPORT)

4. 10 killed, 60 injured in terror blasts at Peshawar mosque

Eyewitnesses said that the first explosion took place soon before the Friday prayers were over and five terrorists entered the mosque and started to fire indiscriminately.

[…]

Agency reports said that terrorists set off multiple explosions outside the mosque and are possibly still holed up inside the mosque.

Eyewitnesses said that the first explosion took place soon before the Friday prayers were over and five terrorists entered the mosque and started to fire indiscriminately.

According to Express News, firing too was heard at the site of the blast.

Security and paramilitary forces have shifted the injured to the Hayatabad Medical Hospital and have cordoned off the area.

5. Argentina’s president Cristina Kirchner formally accused of bombing cover-up

(Entire legal document here)

BUENOS AIRES (AFP) – Argentine President Cristina Kirchner was formally accused on Friday of shielding Iranian officials from prosecution over a 1994 bombing at a Buenos Aires Jewish centre, prosecutors said.

The prosecution move advances the case against Kirchner that was being pursued by late prosecutor Alberto Nisman before he died mysteriously on the eve of congressional hearings on his accusations.

The accusation now goes to the judge in the case, Daniel Rafecas, to decide whether to call Kirchner to make a statement.

6. Islamic State: Smoking will kill you, one way or another

Beheadings have become commonplace in the territories held by the militant Islamic State, but the severed head reportedly found last month in the eastern Syrian city of Al-Mayadeen was nevertheless unusual.

It had a cigarette placed between its lips.

“This is not permissible, Sheikh,” someone had scrawled in Arabic on the decapitated corpse lying nearby, according to an account from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a pro-opposition monitoring group. The body and head belonged to an Islamic State official, a deputy police chief.

(The LA Times must have done some contortions trying to find a way to make a policy they likely agree with, look bad)

Thank you Draculea, M., Richard and many more. Stay tuned. More to come shortly.

  1. Hello there…..its me again……Don Laird…

I have a very special treat for all of you.

This is video footage from the SDO Satellite on its 5 year journey to the sun.

As I watched this, I actually found myself misting up and lost a couple of salty ones……….very powerful, very illuminating, very humbling, very inspiring….

Here’s a quote from the thread to this video on LiveLeak……….a very good quote….

“Religion flies you into buildings……Science flies you into space”…..

    So very very true.

    Enjoy…….

    • Hello there…….its me again……..Don Laird…..

This is a clip from the movie “Sunshine”, scored by the very talented John Murphy.

The premise is that the sun is dying and needs to be re-lit.

A crew board a space ship that is loaded with multiple thermo-nuclear weapons and make their journey to the sun to relight it, to create a sun within a sun, and save Mankind. At a certain point they are in a communications “dead-zone”. Unfortunately the journey turns out to be a one-way trip. (I won’t spoil the ending)

Here’s a quote from the movie:

……………”By the time you get this message, I’ll be in the dead zone. It came a little sooner than we thought, but this means you won’t be able to send a message back…….So, I just wanted to let you know that I don’t need the message, because I know everything you wanna say………Just remember, it takes eight minutes for light to travel from sun to Earth, which means you’ll know we succeeded about eight minutes after we deliver the payload. All you have to is look out for a little extra brightness in the sky……….So if you wake up one morning and it’s a particularly beautiful day, you’ll know we made it. Okay, I’m signing out, and I’ll see you in a couple of years”…….

    • Actually its still science that flies you into buildings. If it was up to religion, buildings would still be made of dung and you would have to smash it down with a stick.

      @The Houston Mosque-Bacue

      Muslims shouldn’t play with matches……..

“When a match comes to life in the city, a lot of things can burn……so please, please be careless with fire”…….

Is there any hope at all that this is contagious……..?
