ANKARA- A Turkish court has ordered Facebook to block a number of pages deemed insulting to the [Islam’s] Prophet Mohammad, threatening to stop access to the whole social networking site if it does not comply, state broadcaster TRT reported.

The order, made by the court on Sunday, followed a request by a prosecutor, TRT said. A source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Monday that Facebook had blocked one page in response to a valid legal request from Turkish authorities.

When the media whines about how Netanyahu is undermining Obama, remember that Obama’s people are running a direct anti-Netanyahu election campaign in Israel. Exactly the way that Clinton’s people did.

Poster removed from museum website – but scholars of Islamic art fear ‘terrible loss for shared global heritage’

Warning: this article contains the image of the prophet Muhammad, which some may find offensive.

The Victoria and Albert museum has attempted to conceal its ownership of a devotional image of the prophet Muhammad, citing security concerns, in what is part of a wider pattern of apparent self-censorship by British institutions that scholars fear could undermine public understanding of Islamic art and the diversity of Muslim traditions.

Similar images have been shown in exhibitions across Europe and America without prompting outrage, much less protests or a violent response. Made by Muslim artists for fellow Muslims, they come from a long but often overlooked tradition.

Dave Balderstone has been suspended from his job with Manchester council for posting an Islamophobic comment on Facebook

A town hall worker has been suspended after posting an Islamophobic comment on Facebook.

Dave Balderstone, 46, replied to a British National Party post with the message: ‘Kick Islam out of Britain – we need our country back.’

Manchester council bosses took action last week after a member of the public contacted the M.E.N. in disgust.

Mr Balderstone, of Manley Road, Chorlton, has now been suspended from his position as an IT support technician while the post is investigated.

(This is unbelievably bad. This deserves essays upon essays. Let’s hope Ezra Levant grabs a hold of this one)

      • Argentina: Intelligence Agents Suspected in Death of Prosecutor

Argentina suspects rogue agents from its own intelligence services were behind the death of a state prosecutor investigating the deadly 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires.

Alberto Nisman was found dead in his apartment late on Sunday, a gunshot wound to his head and a 22 caliber pistol by his side along with a single shell casing.

He had been scheduled to appear before Congress on Monday to answer questions about his allegation that President Cristina Fernandez conspired to derail his investigation of the attack.

His death and a blizzard of conspiracy theories around it have rocked Argentina.

The government says Nisman’s allegations and his death were linked to a power struggle at Argentina’s intelligence agency and agents who had recently been fired.

It says they deliberately misled Nisman and may have had a hand in writing parts of his 350-page complaint.

“When he was alive they needed him to present the charges against the president. Then, undoubtedly, it was useful to have him dead,” the president’s chief of staff, Anibal Fernandez, said on Friday.

Argentine courts have accused a group of Iranians of planting the 1994 bomb, which killed 85 people.

Nisman claimed last week that President Fernandez opened a secret back channel to Iran to cover up Tehran’s alleged involvement in the bombing and gain access to Iranian oil needed to help close Argentina’s $7 billion per year energy deficit.

Fernandez’s government called the accusation absurd.

Iran has repeatedly denied any link to the bomb attack.

The Argentine government’s chief of staff said on Friday that he didn’t believe Nisman even wrote his own report.

“I have worked quite a bit with prosecutor Nisman. I know he was a well qualified expert in the law. He could not have written this nonsense,” he said. “It is totally clear he had nothing to do with it, but there were people around him who had a different agenda.”

Although the government says there was a conspiracy to falsely accuse the president and then do away with Nisman, no one has been arrested in the case so far.

On Friday afternoon, the lead investigator in the case said the man who lent Nisman the gun that was by his side when he was found dead was now banned from leaving the country. The man gave the gun to Nisman the day before his death.

Diego Lagomarsino had turned himself in for questioning after the news broke but has not been taken into custody.

Officials initially said Nisman’s death looked like suicide, but the lead investigator says it is suspicious and that all leads are being followed.

The head of Argentine intelligence was replaced in December, resulting in the firing of agents who had been helping with Nisman’s investigation. Nisman had accused agents from another faction within the state intelligence apparatus of being part of Fernandez’s alleged plot to clear the Iranian suspects.

One of those fired in the December shakeup was Antonio Stiusso, a senior spy who had helped Nisman with the probe.

The government says Stiusso falsely told Nisman that two men implicated in the case against the president were state intelligence agents. Wire tapped phone conversations of the two were key to Nisman’s accusation that the government was trying to whitewash the 1994 car bombing.

President Fernandez said on Thursday that she did not believe Nisman took his own life.

“Nisman’s accusation never was, in itself, the true operation against the government … The true operation against the government was his death, after accusing the government,” she said in a post on Facebook.

Those close to the late prosecutor have doubted from the beginning that he killed himself. Friends described him as upbeat ahead of his scheduled appearance before Congress on Monday.

Kirchner to dissolve Argentine intelligence service after prosecutor death

BUENOS AIRES: President Cristina Kirchner on Monday (Jan 26) said that she will disband Argentina’s intelligence service after a prosecutor was found dead hours before he was to make explosive allegations against her in Congress.

“The plan is to dissolve the Intelligence Secretariat and create a Federal Intelligence Agency” with a leadership chosen by the president but subject to Senate approval, said Kirchner, who has alleged that the death of prosecutor Alberto Nisman was a plot to discredit her.

At least 49 Philippine police commandos have been killed in a clash with Muslim rebels in the south, a bloodbath which tested a peace accord signed last March.

An 11-hour gun battle broke out after police entered the remote town of Mamasapano, held by the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) without coordinating with the rebels as required under their ceasefire agreement.

“Canadian special forces have twice exchanged gunfire with Islamic State fighters in Iraq since the first confirmed ground battle between Western troops and IS earlier this month, a senior officer said Monday.

Recalling the first incident, Captain Paul Forget told a briefing: “Two similar events have occurred over the last week and, in both cases, Canadian special operations forces, again acting in self-defense, effectively returned fire, neutralizing the threat.”

No Canadians were injured, he added.

The first clash mid-January in which the Canadians came under mortar and machine gun fire while training Iraqi troops near front lines underscored political divisions in Ottawa over the US-led mission against IS….”

Let’s face it. The Global village concept is simply not working out. The Muslims are not capable of living on the planet Earth as long as we Infidels insist on living there with them. They are not going to stop fighting us until we get down on our knees and say, “We’re sorry for being who we are, Master. It won’t happen again, Sir…”.

So, what we need to do is to is create a 2-world solution, with all access and communication between us and them cut off permanently. Then they won’t have to look at our ugly faces and our slut women. Let them invent their own iphones and automobiles and computers and big shiny things that go “whirrrr…”. Then, every fifty years, we could send an envoy of wise men and women to go and visit the Muslims just in case they’ve changed and no longer want to cut off our heads for the crime of breathing. If not, another fifty years of total separation would be required…

The only alternative is for the 1.5 billion Muslims to kill the 5.5 billion infidels, or for the 5.5billion Infidels to kill the 1.5billion Muslims. Since they do not believe in negotiation, there is no third option available.

Of course, multi-trillion-dollar, mile-high walls would have to be erected around all Muslim nations, as well as naval blockades and aerial surveillance. The two-world solution is the only solution available to us, so we should wake up and implement it before they get the atomic bomb and kill us all…

  6. Syrian Kurds ‘drive Islamic State out of Kobane’ (BBC, Jan 26, 2015)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-30991612

“Kurdish forces have driven Islamic State (IS) militants from Kobane, officials say, ending a four-month battle for the northern Syrian town.

Fighters from the Popular Protection Units (YPG) were said to have entered outlying areas in the east of the town after the jihadists retreated.

However, the US said it was not yet prepared to declare the battle over.

Kobane was seen as a major test of the US-led coalition’s strategy to combat IS in Syria with air strikes.

Tens of thousands of people fled over the nearby border with Turkey after IS launched an offensive in September, capturing about 300 nearby villages before entering the predominantly Kurdish town itself.

The fighting has left at least 1,600 people dead, among them 1,196 jihadists, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says….”

Alaa and Gamal Mubarak walked free from Cairo’s Torah Prison early on Monday and headed to their homes in the suburb of Heliopolis, security officials said.

Last week, a court ordered that the two men be freed pending retrial along with their father for embezzlement.

It found that they had already served the maximum pre-trial detention period.

Although their release had been expected, it follows deadly clashes on Sunday between police and anti-government protesters commemorating the uprising…”

“The United States has launched a fresh drone strike on Yemen and closed its embassy to the public, days after the U.S.-backed government crumbled under an uprising from Shiite Houthi rebels.

The drone strike — the latest in a long string of them by the Obama administration — is the first since last week’s dramatic events in the capital, Sanaa.

Three U.S. officials tell CNN the CIA conducted a drone strike in Marib, which is east of Sanaa. It is not thought that any major leaders of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula were targeted in the latest U.S. strike.

The CIA itself did not comment.

The U.S. State Department, meanwhile, announced what was happening with the embassy….”

“Nigerian forces fought off Boko Haram militants in the northeastern city of Maiduguri, military officials said Monday, but the extremists seized another town in the same state.

Hundreds of Boko Haram gunmen launched a predawn attack Sunday on Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state.

Soldiers repelled the attacks, and officials have since eased a curfew imposed as a result, said Col. Sani Usman, a military spokesman.

She became pregnant with Eren T. and he asked her to have an abortion. She probably refused, so he and a friend took her to the woods, stabbed her pregnant belly (she was due in a few days) and then burned her alive. He even reported her missing to the police and he seemed “callous and indifferent” during the interrogatory.

Would it be punishing him for “thoughts” if you said anything? Would you be destroying liberty if you prevented him from making his little Nazi Headquarters and putting him in a POW camp, or would it simply be a case of knowing who your enemies are and acting accordingly?

A French Town Linked to Jihad Asks Itself Why

LUNEL, France — When this picturesque southern French town of just 25,700 people first learned late last year that six local Muslims had been killed fighting for Islam in Syria, accounting for 10 percent of the total number of French killed there, the right-wing mayor quietly asked the head of the local mosque for help.

“I need you, and you need me to stop this,” the mayor, Claude Arnaud, recalled telling Lahoucine Goumri, who was president of Al Baraka mosque in Lunel at the time. “We agreed he would make a statement.”

He did. But instead of condemning the surge of young recruits, Mr. Goumri told local news media that the policies of President François Hollande were the main culprit and complained that it was not his job to denounce the jihadists when nobody protested French citizens who traveled to Israel to help the army “kill Palestinian babies.”

“This is their choice,” Mr. Goumri was quoted as saying at the time by the newspaper Midi Libre. “It is not for me to judge them.”

Ever wonder what an African emigration toilet sounds like when it flushes?

Ever wonder what a Middle Eastern toilet sounds like when it flushes?

Waves, upon waves of human garbage washing up on Europe’s shores, decimating a civilization, all while the treasonous EU forbid “Pushbacks”……..how lovely.

Waves upon waves of humanity’s lowest common denominator, human garbage, walking talking human effluence, with shrieking shrill voices and extended hands, with wombs in overdrive, with an overwhelming sense of entitlement and expectation based on little more than their race-cards, the colour of their skin and the ability to fog of a mirror.

The time is long overdue to deal, to silence forever, the tyrants of the European Union, to deal with them in a manner that speaks of an unmistakable sense of permanence and finality. To do anything less is suicide.

The time is long overdue to deal, in an unswerving manner, with these trespassers. Death, meted out by armed patriots, meted out by soldiers and law enforcement officers will soon send a message that climbing the fence, that crossing that line, is death, is the very best way to meet your God.

Godspeed Spain………wither now Europe?…….as the grace and light of a thousand years of civilization and enlightenment is smeared with the excrement of barbarians and savages……..how utterly lovely.

Below is the latest from Vice, released today, it examines the Africa’s and the Middle East’s gift to the civilized world……..a walking, talking incurable cancer that devours and destroys everything it touches……..how utterly lovely.

  14. ISIS Spokesman Al-Adnani Pledges More Terror Attacks on West (nbcnews, Jan 26, 2015)
    http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/isis-terror/isis-spokesman-al-adnani-pledges-more-terror-attacks-west-n293701

“ISIS has called on its supporters to carry out terror attacks in Western countries, according to an audio recording released Monday that celebrates recent atrocities including the Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris.

The Islamist extremist group’s spokesman, Abu Muhammad Al-Adnani, urged jihadis to carry out lone wolf atrocities in the message, which was produced its media arm and distributed on Twitter and jihadi forums.

Al-Adnani praised recent attacks in Canada, France, Australia, and Belgium and warned the West that ISIS would continue to inflict terror on its soil and that worse attacks were to come…”

  15. Very insightful article about IS indoctrination / training camps:
Isis depends heavily on what Muslim clerics consider isolated incidents described in sacred texts that it believes should not be followed as rules. The function of such incidents is not necessarily to argue a doctrinal idea. Isis sometimes uses them to help members who struggle with beheading, for example, to justify what they have done. When these stories are weaved into the overall ideology of Isis, new members find it easier to accept them.

The argument that these acts are not Islamic often ignores how such stories are told. For instance, Isis tells the story of Muhammad’s commander-in-chief, Khaled bin al-Walid, who killed hundreds of captives after the 7th-century battle of Ullais in Iraq, seemingly contrary to Islamic teachings, because he had made a pledge to God that he would make a river of blood from the Persian army if he overran it. When he could not find enough people to make a river out of their blood after he defeated them, he killed the captives and opened a dam into their bleeding bodies. Isis uses the story to say this is the man described by the prophet as the Unleashed Sword of God and who was praised for his victory in that battle by the first Muslim caliph, Abu Bakr. When Isis kills its captives, a Muslim cleric can dismiss the act as un-Islamic, but Isis can simply cite the example of al-Walid.

Because Isis bases its teachings on religious texts that mainstream Muslim clerics do not want to deal with head on, new recruits leave the camp feeling that they have stumbled on the true message of Islam. New recruits such as Ghannam and his cousins graduate armed with theological arguments, military training and a conviction that fellow Muslims are at least partly complicit in the suppression of true Islam.
