“…a clash between civilization and barbarity.” Dr. Wafa Sultan Links 5 on Jan. 16 – 2015

1. A large number of muslims in Israel demonstrate their feelings for France and all who won’t accept the supremacy of the pirate Mohamed etc. etc. at the Temple Mount.

2. Muslims never guilty of ‘terrorist massacres,’ Turkey’s Erdogan insists

“Madness in great ones must not unwatched, go”

Turkish President Recip Tayyip Erdogan’s increasingly bizarre rhetoric continued this week when he told reporters Muslims have “never taken part in terrorist massacres” and appeared to blame the West for the recent Islamist attacks in Paris.

The NATO nation leader and western ally has moved his powerful nation further from its Constitutionally-mandated secularism in recent years, and has drawn criticisms for not doing more to stop the flow of foreign jihadis, who pass through Istanbul on their way to join Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. But Monday’s comments, against the backdrop of near-universal condemnation of the Islamist attack on French satirical tabloid Charlie Hebdo, could further isolate Erdogan from the West.

3. Obama also said something, while not quite equally bizarre, was certainly equally deceptive. The US does everything it possibly can to cover-up Islamic attacks and plots discovered in the US as part of its strategy to sell the idea that Islam is miscible with democracy to the world’s muslims. But if you look at the percentage of actual attacks plus attempted attacks and split the number of things which could have been islamic attacks but normal details are being kept from the public, down the middle and call half of them attempted or successful Islamic attacks, then look at the percentage of muslims in the US Vs. France of the UK, then the US actually has a larger problem.

5. Headteacher: Trojan Horse internal review ‘farcical’

A review of the Education Department’s handling of concerns about extremism in schools is “farcical”, a Birmingham headteacher has told the BBC.

The review said there were “no instances… where specific ‘warnings’ were ignored” or where officials or ministers acted “inappropriately”.

But Queensbridge School head Tim Boyes said the department “did absolutely nothing because it’s a thorny policy”.

Mr Boyes met a minister twice in 2010 to discuss his concerns.

  1. Not only do muslims consider themselves ‘never guilty ‘ of terrorist massacres – they never feel guilty.

  2. #1
It’s not the fact that Muslims the world over pretend to be deeply offended when pictures of Mohammad are published, it’s their belief that they have some kind of right to dictate to us what we can and cannot put in our magazines that is so troubling. Where did they get such an idea? What makes so many Muslims think they are stronger than us and be so willing to pick a fight-to-the-death that could well end with their extinction?

Dear left wingers: Here is a perfect example of how appearing passive and weak actually encourages – and therefore creates – aggression in peoples who otherwise would be afraid to open their mouths for fear of getting their butts kicked. Do you see that now, my left wing friends? Can you see how pacifism actually creates war by giving evil men the idea that they have a chance of success? How many young Muslims would be going back to school right now rather than joining up with ISIS if they didn’t think they had a chance of winning the war? Is it finally starting to sink in?

  3. RUSSIA – Thousands rally against Mohammed cartoons in Russia’s Ingushetia

Around 15,000 people on Saturday rallied in Russia’s Muslim North Caucasus region of Ingushetia against Western publications that insult the prophet Mohammed, authorities said, in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attack in France.

The crowd gathered for the officially sanctioned meeting in the regional capital Magas to protest “against cartoons of the prophet, Islamaphobia and insulting the beliefs of Muslims,” the local government’s press service told AFP.

Regional head Yunus-Bek Yevkurov described the publication of caricatures of the Prophet as “state extremism on the side of several Western countries” in a statement addressed to the protest.

  4. At Duke, many criticize decision not to broadcast Muslim prayer call

“The level of vitriol in calls and messages from those who have no connection to Duke was intense, and even horrifying.”

In announcing the “moderately amplified” prayer call plan Wednesday, Christy Lohr Sapp, associate dean for religious life, said Duke wanted to counter media portrayals of Muslims “as angry aggressors driven by values that are anti-education and anti-Western.”

  5. This year the protests are at the Temple Mount; when will they be at Notre Dame (Cathedral)?

  6. What drives Islamic extremism has also in the past driven Jewish and Christian extremism. It is all about similar core themes in all three Western religions- Zoroastrian dualism (the true religion set against false religions and the divine obligation to exclude and destroy one’s enemies), justice as offense and retaliation, divine violence to solve problems, and more. Such ideals have long inspired and validated the most inhumane treatment of others. Solutions to extremism require going to the heart of these religions and rooting out the inhumane ideals embedded there. Humanizing the violent deity at the core of these faiths.
