10news.dk: Dutch police paid Salafis for patrolling The Haag during New Year’s Eve

Dutch police has capitulated: they can no longer uphold law and order in Muslim dominated areas, and is now hiring Salafi sharia-patrols from the local mosque to patrol the streets. This is not only in complete conflict with secular principles, it also lends authority to people who follow a doctrine that preaches destruction of democracy and death upon the very people that the police is supposed to protect.

  1. EU migration: Traffickers ‘made $3m’ on ship to Italy (BBC, Jan 4, 2015)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-30669136

“Police in Italy believe traffickers made some $3m (£1.9m; €2.5m) from 359 illegal migrants found abandoned on a cargo ship in the Mediterranean. The Ezadeen was towed into the Italian port of Corigliano Calabro after being found by coast guards on Friday. Most of those aboard appear to be Syrians, in the second such case involving a freighter this week.

Both ships reportedly started in Turkey, in a change from the Libyan route usually favoured by gangs. The police chief of Cosenza province, Luigi Liguori, said each migrant had paid between $4,000 and $8,000 to board the ship. Officers say that the smugglers wore hoods and locked the migrants in the ship’s hold before apparently abandoning ship on a lifeboat….

Mr Tomaiuolo told BBC News that one Syrian migrant, who asked for his name not to be given, told him he had paid “Turkish mafia” 7,000 euros for himself and 7,000 euros for his pregnant wife to make the journey. The 35-year-old said he was scared to reveal his identity in case he was returned to Turkey, where he had been living for about a year….”

Plumes of black smoke were seen in the area and the sounds of gunfire was reported shortly after the explosion.

Security has improved in Mogadishu in recent months, but Islamist group al-Shabab regularly carries out attacks.

“Al-Qaida militants bombed an office of Shiite Houthi rebels south of Yemen’s capital Sunday, killing six Houthis and wounding 31, officials said.

Police said the bombing in Dhamar province, some 100 kilometers (62 miles) from Sanaa, targeted a local headquarters of the Houthi movement, which has seized a string of Yemeni cities, including the capital.

One of the dead was a journalist who worked for a Houthi-affiliated television station, they said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief journalists. Houthis have surrounded the area and were preventing people from taking photos.

“Tunisia’s Interior Ministry says that Islamist extremists have slit the throat of a police officer and knifed him in the heart as he returned from work.

A ministry statement said the officer was attacked early Sunday on his way home in a rural zone in Zaghouan, some 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Tunis.

A spokesman for the union overseeing security, Mounir Khemili, said the attackers also used a saber to cut off a finger of his right hand.

In December, a National Guard member was beheaded in Kef near the Algerian border where security forces have been fighting extremists holed up in the mountains.

Despite sporadic attacks, Tunisia elected a new president, Beji Caid Essebsi, last month.”

  6. Paying the Salifists To ‘police’ the Muslim community would be like paying the Bloods and Crips to patrol urban LA. BTW what about the rights of the few in these Muslim zones who do not want to adhere to Sharia law and it’s oppressive doctrine?
