1. Morsi, former president of Egypt, gave $25M to Al-Qeada

Speaking on Haya TV, Nabil Na’im, a former Islamist who was the leader of Egypt’s Islamic Jihad and who was previously a close confidante of current Al Qaeda leader Ayman Zawahiri, asserted that during the reign of former Egyptian president Mohammad Morsi, Zawahiri was given $25 million from Muslim Brotherhood leader Khairat al-Shatter to organize, fund and assemble the jihadi groups “in order to support the Brotherhood.”

2. Muslim Brotherhood Looks To Infiltrate Canadian Politics

Tahir Gora of The Clarion Project further reports that these Islamist groups are moving a step ahead, pushing their favored candidates in the nomination process of major Canadian political parties for the federal election of 2015.Tahir quotes a member of Jamaat-e-Islami in Canada, who expects that 8 to 10 members of the Muslim community would become Liberal Party of Canada MPs in 2015: “We want Muslims’ (read Muslim Brotherhood/Jamaat-e-Islami) representation in our parliament so that our members can watch our interests in the government.”

The Muslim Brotherhood/Jamaat-e-Islami axis appears to have found favor with the Liberal Party of Canada. ISNA Canada arranged an “Iftaar [a Ramadan breakfast meal] with [Liberal Party leader] Justin Trudeau last year, who has been criticized by moderate Muslim groups for embracing Islamists.

3. Supporters of Hizb ut-Tahrir Islamic Organization Fleeing Crimea

According to him, after the occupation of Crimea by Russia quite a large number of supporters of the Islamic left the Crimea. He added that he would like to name specific numbers.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is an Islamic organization founded in 1953 in East Jerusalem by a local Sharia court judge. The declared goal of the organization is to “restore the just Islamic way of life and Islamic State (Caliphate) and implement it in an Islamic system.” In the EU Hizb ut-Tahrir is banned in Germany (for anti-Semitic propaganda), as well as in Denmark and the UK.

4. Mysterious blast hits Europe-bound Gaza ship

A Gaza boat designed to break Israel’s blockade en route to Europe was damaged in an explosion early Tuesday morning, with organizers alleging sabotage.
