2. Nigeria: Gunmen Attack Secondary School Staff Quarters, Kill 5-Year-Old

Police in Bauchi State said suspected gunmen set ablaze some houses in the staff quarters of Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS), Yana, killing a five-year old girl on Sunday.

The police spokesperson in the state, DSP Haruna Mohammed, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Bauchi that the gunmen also burnt a telecommunication mast in the town.

3. Thai police say suspected insurgents kill 3 in shooting in south, including 2-year-old girl

4. Revealed: The female tech CEO who brought down Al Qaeda ‘hate cleric’ Abu Hamza after bravely recording his terror plot confession after confronting him over her own kidnap

(This is a great read! Click over and lets be inspired by her example)

New Zealand-born Mary Quin, 59, was part of a group of 16 who were kidnapped crossing the desert in Yemen in 1998.

Quin, now the CEO of Callaghan Innovation, made it out alive, but four in her group died and she vowed revenge against the person responsible.

Her quest eventually led her to Hamza, when she confronted him at his mosque in Finsbury Park, London.

Her recording of their meeting is one of the key points of evidence as the U.S. seeks to put the Islamic cleric behind bars for life on 11 terrorism charges.

5. Yemen, US mount ‘unprecedented’ air attacks on Qaeda

(I guess the Al-Qaeda leaders who held that giant open air top level meeting last week had more confidence in Obama’s lack of will or desire to act than even we did)

An “unprecedented” US and Yemeni aerial campaign has killed more than 40 Al-Qaeda militants in recent days in a bid to thwart attacks by the network’s local affiliate, officials said.

Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) has been linked to a number of failed terror plots against the United States, and its leader recently appeared in a rare video in which he vowed to attack Western “crusaders” wherever they are.

More to come. Should be an interesting day. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Weekend.
