1. British Prime Minister David Cameron was being advised on Islam by none other than Muslim Brotherhood founder’s grandson, Tariq Ramadan, or as I like to call him, ‘Grima Wormtard’

Tariq Ramadan is one of 14 members of the Foreign Office’s Advisory Group on Freedom of Religion or Belief, chaired by Tory peer Baroness Warsi. He is Professor of Contemporary Islamic Studies at Oxford University, and was a member of a taskforce set up by Tony Blair after 7/7.

2. Famous UK author speaks succinctly on political correctness in memoirs found after his death.

(To have a clear idea just how accurate this man’s observations are, here is an 11 minute clip of Bill Whittle explaining the history of Political correctness and the ‘Frankfurt School’. I have posted this video at least a dozen times and watched it at least twice that many)

3. Crowd attacks Ebola treatment center in Guinea

CONAKRY, Guinea –  A crowd angry about an Ebola outbreak that has killed 86 people across Guinea attacked a center where victims were being held in isolation, prompting an international aid group to temporarily evacuate its team, officials said Saturday.

The violence took place in the southern town of Macenta, where at least 14 people have died since the outbreak emerged last month. The mob who descended upon the clinic accused Doctors Without Borders health workers of bringing Ebola to Guinea, where there had never previously been any cases.

Some young people threw rocks at the aid workers, though no one was seriously hurt, said Sam Taylor, a spokesman for Doctors Without Borders.

(Throwing rocks at medical staff during an outbreak of the worlds most virulent disease. Yes.)

4. 23 Killed in Family Feud in Southern Egypt: Officials

(I can’t imagine what they would do if they made it to the finals on Jeopardy)

The two sides used gunfire and petrol bombs and several houses burned to the ground before police were able to stop the fighting on Saturday morning, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

Mohamed Sorour, a health ministry official in Aswan, told Reuters the number of dead had risen to 23 by Saturday afternoon. He said 31 people were hospitalized.

  1. #4 Did you see that clip, I think it was on MEMRI TV (last few days) of that guy on a lebanese chat show kicking his mother in the head? Quality muslim behaviour. They are such backward, primitive savages, I am no longer shocked by anything muslims do.

  2. Has anybody actually seen Tariq Ramadan and Satan in the same room at the same time? I didn’t think so…:)

  3. BURMA – Brawl Leads to Anti-Muslim Riot in Rangoon’s Outskirts

HLEGU, Rangoon Division — A personal fight has sparked an anti-Muslim riot in the town of Hlegu on the outskirts of Rangoon. A Muslim man reportedly stabbed a Buddhist with a pair of scissors during an argument on Friday afternoon, after which an angry Buddhist mob pelted Muslim-owned properties with stones.

A mob of about 300 people destroyed a Muslim home and later attacked a mosque at about 6 pm on Friday, according to Ee Mang, a security guard at the mosque. He said local Buddhists were shouting profanity and calling for the death of Muslims as they shattered windows, broke into the building and stole money from the donation box.

“They threw stones and some of them got inside the mosque. But the police prevented them from doing further damage,” he told The Irrawaddy on Saturday, adding that he was born in Hlegu and had never before experienced conflict with local Buddhists.

Hundreds of police officers were deployed to the town on Friday night, about 45 kilometers outside the major city of Rangoon, while local authorities declared Section 188 of the Penal Code, ordering the crowd to disperse and imposing a curfew to prevent further unrest.

The police and community leaders did not report any injuries of local residents during interviews with The Irrawaddy on Saturday.

A police officer standing guard near the mosque said two other officers had been wounded while attempting to stop the mob from entering the mosque. “They used slingshots to shoot at us,” he told The Irrawaddy. “One police was shot in the head and the other in the leg.”

The riot was sparked after a Muslim man allegedly stabbed a Buddhist man in the eye with scissors during a dispute in the public market at about 4:30 pm on Friday. Four Muslim men were reportedly involved in the fight and afterward went to hide in a home. When the police came for their arrest, the homeowner handed over only one of the men, angering a group of Buddhists, who subsequently destroyed the home, according to Myo Win, a Buddhist community leader.

Nice man prays at mosque on Friday, inspired by Imam, goes out to stab “a Buddhist with a pair of scissors”.

What’s the matter with that? Buddhist Islamophobia.

  5. 3/ Ebola virus disease: background and summary; Disease Outbreak News

3 APRIL 2014 – WHO is supporting the national authorities in the response to an outbreak of Ebola virus disease (EVD; formerly known as Ebola haemorrhagic fever). The outbreak is now confirmed to be caused by a strain of ebolavirus with very close homology (98%) to the Zaire ebolavirus. This is the first time the disease has been detected in West Africa. Cases were first reported from forested areas in south-eastern Guinea. The outbreak has rapidly evolved and several districts and Conakry have reported cases and deaths caused by EVD. A small number of suspected cases and deaths has also been reported from neighbouring countries with all of them having crossed from Guinea. Confirmed cases have been reported from Guinea and Liberia.

  6. Yucki:

In Lord of the Rings, there is an exceptionally well thought out character called, ‘Grima Worm-tongue’. His role was to fake being an advisor to the king while actually being an agent of the enemy of the kingdom. His job was to whisper things to the king that would essentially put him in a kind of spell so that the kingdom’s defenses would fall to pieces and become increasingly vulnerable to the agency that was actually controlling the King’s adviser. A very evil and dark empire with less than no consideration for the rights of the creatures that inhabited the kingdom.

  7. EGYPT – At least two more people were killed on Sunday in the southern governorate of Aswan, renewing deadly tribal clashes that have killed almost two dozen people in three days of fighting.

Twenty-three people were killed in the Al-Seel Al-Refy district, east of Aswan, on Friday and Saturday when a feud erupted between two tribes.

The violence resumed on Sunday, with two more dead and 16 injured. The flare-up of fighting has brought the death toll to 25, with 56 wounded.

The fighting first began on Wednesday between the Arab clan Bani Helal and a Nubian tribe, Daboudiya, over the harassment of a girl from one of the tribes

  8. I highly recommend reading A Journal of the Plague Year by Daniel Defoe if you want to understand the psychology behind the happenings in Guinea right now. Defoe based his novel on recollections and government records from the London Plague in 1665. People in London were behaving just as irrationally as the folks in Guinea..

  9. Eeyore- Yep, Grima WormTard. Like “Hamlet” + pouring poison into ear.
    — Now, who’s George Soros and why should I hate him?

Lena, Seems PC has gone almost vertical. Time for a dip, don’t you think?

  10. Les, there’s a recent (2011) report on Ebola psych for outbreak in Uganda in 2000:
    “Globalization and Health 2012, 8:15  doi:10.1186/1744-8603-8-15”

This paper documents and analyses some of the responses to the largest Ebola outbreak on record, which took place in Uganda between September 2000 and February 2001. Four hundred and twenty five people developed clinical symptoms in three geographically distinct parts of the country (Gulu, Masindi, and Mbarara), of whom 224 (53%) died. Given the focus of previous social scientific Ebola research on experiences in communities that have been directly affected, this article expands the lens to include responses to the outbreak in local, national, and international contexts over the course of the outbreak.

Eeyore might want the whole abstract; I have serious reservations about the author, a Swedish researcher.

»… Muslim man in the mosque with a pair of scissors «

SincereIy I really don’t know …. I thought it was Mrs Peacock in the Library with the Candlestick

  12. On third thought, read the whole article. It’s cultural/socio-anthropology, if there’s such a thing. And who better than an impeccably politically correct Swede?

  13. Yucki:

I can’t get a good bead on Soros. He is painted as so categorically and even comically evil that its hard to believe much of what one reads, even though its from solid sources.

From what little I know, he was a child capo in the concentration camps. He feels no regret for his actions as he feels he had no choice. Of course one always has choices even if one of them is to be killed or tortured. But its still a choice. The inmates at Guantanamo even know that.

Soros seems to be behind the funding of countless far-left agitation groups ranging from the semi-rational to the out-and-out destructive of Western civilizations foundational institutions. He made a great deal of money screwing the UK in a gold deal but that in itself is more an issue of bad choices on the part of the UK and Soros’ business acumen but added in to the overal Soros mix, it seems bad.

I have only heard him speak a couple of times on video and both times he seemed reasonable and his concerns were good ones. But pretty much everyone tells me that he is four-square behind most organizations which are destructive of democracy. Obama certainly, Acorn, various thug groups of leftist agitators from what I hear and much much worse. Some even accuse him of funding Nazi groups in Europe were he feels that somehow it will help him achieve his objectives. Whatever those are.

Frankly I am probably the worst person to discuss Soros. I have made a semi-conscious descision to avoid the issue as its too large and smacks of conspiracy nuts although I concede that much of it may be true.

If memory serves, Glenn Beck has done a number of stories on Soros. It may be worth checking those out. Beck is reasonably good about his sources.

I hope that helped even though it was just a vague set of impressions.

  14. He’s a key figure, I think.

I read a book about the investigation into Sasha Litvinenko’s poisoning with polonium-210. It was Putin, but Soros somehow abstracted himself – was there and not-there.

He’s a shadow draped with conspiracy cobwebs.
