1. Andrew Bostom details life for a dog in Islamic countries. Yes, dogs differentiate between Muslims and, for example, Zoroastrians in Iran. (I post this 2011 essay because of the actions of the muslim police officer who recently shot a man’s Parkinson’s-disease, service dog. I believe his actions where driven by his culture and beliefs the same way a vegetarian’s is when ordering at McDonalds.)

2. I was wrong about Obama. There is nothing totalitarian about this at all!

Despite congressional opposition, the Federal Communications Commission plans to send researchers to oversee TV and radio newsrooms, casting what promises to be a chill on freedom of the press.

When House Republicans got wind of the plan in December, they sent a letter to the FCC, according to The Hill.

“Given the widespread calls for the Commission to respect the First Amendment and stay out of the editorial decisions of reporters and broadcasters, we were shocked to see that the FCC is putting itself back in the business of attempting to control the political speech of journalists,” the Republicans wrote in a letter to FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler. “It is wrong, it is unconstitutional, and we urge you to put a stop to this most recent attempt to engage the FCC as the ‘news police.’”  (more on this here courtesy of Tundra T)

3. The eight charged are:

Nisa Ul-Haq, 38, of The Fairway, Fixby; Sarfraz Hajrah, 36, of Victoria Road, Lockwood; Mohammed Sarfraz, 34, of, Victoria Road; Ahjaz Hussain, 33, of Victoria Road; Mohammed Iqbal, 45, of Yews Mount, Lockwood; Raheela Bibi, 40, of Lockwood Road, Huddersfield; Shanaz Iqbal, 51, of Kaffir Road, Edgerton; and Shabaz Hussain, 38, of St Stephens Road, Lockwood.

4. All knowing tard committee decrees that no one should live on Mars.

(Yet if a thriving human colony was established and was secular or otherwise non-Muslim, I am pretty confident this fatwa would be abrogated by ones we are much more familiar with)

5. Armed mom protects herself, her home and 2 kids from home invaders.

Meanwhile, the state is determined to criminalize law abiding gun owners if they fail to register their firearms with government databases

Thank you Richard, M, Fjordman and many more.

  1. #1 The policy of the U.S. military in Iraq was to have the veterinarians put down all dogs and cats to prevent the spread of disease. If there are no working military dogs, then why do we need veterinarians in the military? Seriously!

If you read the book “The Gift of Valor”, a local dog adopted the marines. The dog ran off other dogs that would bark and give away the marines position as they patrolled in town. There are other ways to keep track of a patrol so it can be ambushed beside listening to stray dogs bark. But maybe every little bit helps.

The downside is that if American service members are around dogs, the resident Muslim population might look down upon them & it might make community relations harder.

Still between walking point, providing stress relief and warning of potentially hostile people, all in all dogs and cats might be a net plus.

Plus over the long haul if Muslims saw that dogs were useful and could be made disease free they might appreciate them more.

Question: Did not shepherds in Muslim lands not have dogs to help them?

Every type of animal (including people) is dirty if they are kept in crowded conditions.

This disgusts me what these animals did to that poor dog. Yes, I said animals. It’s the Muzz who are the animals, not the dogs.

  3. Low animals, at that, Softly.

You’re not fully human if poison gibberish takes the place of the soul. That spark of the divine is what makes people cherish life. Whatever motivates a little Muslim girl to torture newborn puppies is incomprehensible to the innocent child who dwells in the grace of a loving G-d.
